Eurostat Estimated Population Trends

Population estimates are 2017 Eurostat projections, in thousands. Eurostat expects 10 countries will lose population by 2040. Poland is in 7th place.

In general, the demographic trends in Eastern Europe are very poor.

Civilization never makes any sense. That’s why all civilizations have their foundations in religion

US government is trying to encourage the opposite with the new tax increase plans. Eliminating personal exemptions will effectively raise tax on families raising children. Combine with government induced healthcare, housing, and tuition inflation and fewer people will have families.

If white countries never had their birthrates drop, they wouldn’t have had to take in so many 3rd world immigrants since 1965. This is the root of the whole problem folks. Which is now causing lots of polarization, lack of unity, and social problems in these countries now. Will England or France even be England and France 50 yrs from now? Or will they be England and France in “name” only, but made up of a mix mostly Africans, Indians, ect… with all the original culture, ethnicity, etc… of France and England gone forever?

Absolutely what all White nations need. More of their own. Encourage children by lowering taxes, and stopping the invasion.!! Well done Poland. Well done.

I would not extrapolate current trends too far into the future. In the past century or so, most of the low hanging fruit has been picked in everything: resources, energy, water, air. By 2080, the world population could be a few million due to resource exhaustion, starvation, and resulting conflict.

The conclusion from the stats is that western Europeans already breed like rabbits or is it just a certain segment of the population? The fact is that Europe is not exactly depopulated, it is the turd world that is way overpopulated, which causes poverty, which is exported to Europe.

(BTW, this is a horrible posting system. The old one was much better. I’m not surprised that there are so few comments these days.)

(Hmm, I hit “enter” to move to a new line and inadvertently posted). Anyway, it is wonderful when women who want to have kids have kids; it is fantastic. But these ads are moronic; they show none of the reality of the experience. I would be that such stupid propaganda is more likely to discourage childbearing than to encourage it.

I watched several of the pro-reproduction ads. They all show women – or rabbits – who are not yet pregnant. They are young, slim, and energetic. Once you get pregnant, you feel enormous and incredibly unattractive (except to creeps who want to follow you since you’re pregnant), according to friends of mine who have had kids. Childbirth is often a traumatic experience (my mom was in labor with my brother for 23 hours). I also know several women who had kids whose husbands cheated on them as soon as the baby was born, when they and the kid were at their very most helpless; it was revolting. Once you have a kids your entire life must be focused on the kid; that is not optional.

I have heard reasonable people predict that world population will decline to about 1 billion by 2300.

The problem isn’t a lack of people. The problem is the average persons skin tone is becoming darker and darker. What Poland wants is more people with highly reflective skin as opposed to letting in a ton of refugees who absorb a lot more sunlight.

Graph the population of Latvia and Lithuania against time and then guess when they joined the EU? Doing this reveals the fallacy of the standard pro-immigration argument which goes along the lines of ‘we need more young workers as we’re an ageing population’ (you hear it in UK, EU, the west). My point is: one man’s “we-need-young-workers” is another man’s demographic disaster. That’s aside from the obivious (but often ignored) point that if you bus in a load of young migrants to surely they will want the same benefits on retirement? So then it becomes clear not only does the pro-migration camp want to asset strip the migrants’ home country of productive assets (young intelligent workforce) but you’ve also created an even bigger ponzi scheme in the host county. How liberal is that?!

If a country wants more children, it needs to make it a good idea to have children:

LOW taxes.
Minimal government, minimal regulations, minimal welfare
Respect Christianity, respect for marriage
Schools that respect traditional values or school choice

Or to put it another way –
Socialist governments with massive regulations, high taxes that mocks traditional marriage, embraces the homosexual agenda, discriminates against the native population and tries to ram down their version of hell down people’s throats…are going to get alot less children.

This population trend description does not show immigration effect. Anytime you allow free entry, you get hordes of 3rd country immigrants. In the meantime, only rare western women go for over 3 kids. 2,05 fertility rate is just to maintain population.
Guess were most of the increase of countries come from ?
If I was a woman, there is no incentive to have kids on an individual basis : no recognition, lilited financial support, little leisure time… This since the recognition comes from professional career. Which is a non sense in my opinion and even a self destruct position.

I did my job with 3 kids and wished I could continue.
Plenty of space in France !

Does no one remember the whole movement in the 70s about ‘The Population Bomb’? How if we didn’t stop breeding we’d be starving to death? I know a lot of people, inlcuding my mom, bought into that BS. Now the problem is the reverse.

I grew up in Lithuania and immigrated to Canada just after finishing high school. Most of my class mates went to get university degree and about half now work in Ireland, Sweeden, UK, Germany in IT or Engineering, there better opportunities in other EU countries than there in Lithuania. Things are much worse when it comes to less educated people, they leave Lithuania in throws. For many families, husband picks up the trades (wielding, electrical, construction, carpenter) job somewhere in Finlald, Sweden and comes back few times a year home between gigs. How do you expect them to form a family?

Western nations all have a problem with (lack of) population growth, considering that the various welfare/retirement/healthcare schemes depend on an ever increasing tax base to maintain. (Of course, open borders mitigates this somewhat at the expense of Western Culture.) Student debt & wage stagnation are already depressing household formation. The Republican tax proposals – which eliminate exemptions & discourage suburbia via SALT reduction – would exacerbate population problems and hasten Western decline.

If all of Poland’s women looked like the lady in the advertisement there would be no problem to be addressing through advertising.
