No Progressive princess, what’s happening is the public is sick of your progressive cohort for hijacking the Democratic Party to the extreme Left. 

The vote in Virginia and near loss in New Jersey were not because of failure to pass programs. The vote is because you want to pass extreme Progressive bills.

Senate  Parliamentarian Irony

Yesterday, the Senate Parliamentarian correctly ruled that immigration reform is not a budget item. 

Whether you are for or against reform, clearly it’s not a budget item and that means it cannot be part of Build Back Better.  

Let’s tune into what a delusional AOC thinks.

Sure .Schumer can introduce a vote. And it will take 60 Senators to pass it.

Another Say What?! 

Biden made a promise that was not his to make. And the only way he can deliver is by doing what Manchin wants. 

There is no way Biden can “force” the Senate to deliver a Progressive mandate. 

Manchin’s Demand List

  1. $1.7 Trillion fully paid budget up from $1.5 Trillion – Position since April
  2. Means-testing child-care subsidies and the child tax credit – Position since April
  3. Concerned over inflation – Position since April
  4. No timeline gimmicks of expiring programs to make a fake budget – Position since April 
  5. No paid family leave – Position since April
  6. No new entitlements that aren’t means-tested or don’t require work – Position since April

In addition to the above, Manchin will not go along with proposals to change Parliamentary rules, pack the court, or end the filibuster. Those have been his position forever.

What did Pelosi, AOC, and the House do? 

They ignored every one of Manchin’s requirements. 

And now, AOC moans about delusion. Wow, talk about the need to look in the mirror. 

A Democrat bloodbath is likely in November of 2022. 

Meanwhile, if the delusional Progressive stick with the same plan, Build Back Better will not pass at all. And that would be a great thing.

The final irony is that in order to kill BBB entirely, we must now hope Progressives keep doing what they’re doing. 

Go for it AOC!

As a middle of the road voter here i like the dems cant act as one.  The way i see it is each representative represents the people who elected them.  Where the republicans stand as one.  Not in a good way either.   I dont feel they represent their voters as a whole.  I wish the republicans had the same issues as the dems when solving problems.  Then as a nation we might be able to actually move together in a positive direction. Part of me like manchin and part of me thinks hes protecting his personal interest more than representing wv.

What the Democrats SHOULD do (but won’t because they walk around with their ideological blinders on 24/7) is to try to OWN that the pandemic policies have been seriously inflationary…but NECESSARY, for the good of the general public. They could claim credit for keeping the economy on at least a muddle-through footing.
They could say that inflation was a lesser evil than allowing COVID to drive the economy straight into a severe recession…and that Americans have to understand what MIGHT have happened ( imho would have happened) if the federal govt and the Fed under BOTH Trump and Biden had not resorted to accommodative credit and monetary policies.
Instead they stay focused on what free sh!t they want to give away to their progressive base, and stupidly trying to blame inflation on greedy corporations, rich tech billionaires, or any other convenient fall guy…when it all goes back to the stimulus and holding rates down. 
But why tell the truth, when the lies come so easily and appeal so much to the stupid people who make up the America Idiocracy?

The problem is that you have only two dominant political parties. In each one there is a wide set of opinions, very contradictory opinions. The consequence of this is that when you vote for one party, you don’t know what policy will be conducted. This is decided outside of the electoral process. This is the same in France. You had the “left” and the “right” consecutively during 50 years, more or less with the same politics. Finally the two dominant “left” and “right” collapsed, and a kind of “center” emerged (Macron) with also the same politics. I think that the concept of “extreme center” is more and more pertinent.

Macron is the most recent successful attempt of the “uniparty” to remain in power. It was a good brightly-colored lure or leurre for a population tired of the same bad results no matter who is in power. Macron was not up to the challenge so now we have Eric Zimmour exploding on the scene with a new alternative. We will see what happens. Politics in the democracies are getting very volatile these last few years and that is a good thing. That’s how we handle change.

It funny the Middle class is hated so much by progressives because bbb is a middle class nightmare…..
Her party of sheep want massive immigration changes without taxpayers to have a say….their own constituents will end up paying dearly for the leech invasion they created and are festering.

They will probably end up with 180-190 seats in the House.   Maybe even lower.   I had predicted that is what would happen if they failed to deliver.   And that is exactly what they have achieved.  Child tax credits ending next month.   Student debt moratorium as well.  Also, the moratorium on rent.   Plus UI benefits.   On Medicare, not only do we not have M4A, we in fact now have a backdoor privatization of Medicare itself via DCE.   And on and on.
But of course, when they lose, the geniuses in the media and punditocracy would say that they lost because they did so many crazy progressive things!   Go figure.

The idea is nuts. The revolt is because of the ideas not a failure to deliver them.
It’s the moderates who will decide the election
They went for Trump over Hillary
Biden over Trump
and now Republicans over Democrats in the midterms 
All over hatred of the person or disgust of ideas presented

LOL.    Look at what happened in 2010.   Oscama and the DONORcrats failed to deliver on throwing the Wall Street crooks into prison, providing real relief to the average Americans who had fallen victim to the banksters, and also rolled out a right-wing healthcare scam designed to be more a money-laundering scheme to shovel money into the hands of big insurers and big pharma rather than delivering on a real healthcare program.   So they lost in 2010.

People keep changing from one party to another mainly because neither of the two parties delivers for them.  Of course, that is because both are right-wing parties, and are firmly in the pockets of their donors.

The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled OSHA vaccine mandate is lawful and reinstated it.  You still want to tell me the courts aren’t political?  So it will go to supreme court and be struck down along party lines.  Sad state of affairs.

I basically disagree with your assessment.  Not interested in going back and forth with the choir so will simply say that when any legislation is watered down to appease to centrists the next election Dems lost. 2010 and in 1990s after Clinton ran as Progressive and governed as a centrist.

Yes.  And when they invariably lose the elections, it will be blamed on “extreme progressive policies”!   The tech libertarian and the Wall Street libertarian establishment Dems will run with that, arguing that the party will have to move to the “center” i.e. even more to the right.   And that’s how the DONORcrat Party finds itself now to the right of even the 1990s moderate Republicans.

LOL.  The DONORcrats have always lost because of their failure to do anything progressive.   When was the last time they actually passed progressive legislation?   I would say Medicare – and that was more than 50 YEARS ago.   Obolacare?  It was literally a right-wing healthcare scam.  Just look at the effects of the various right-wing poison pills that were embedded in that one.   One has manifested now, in the form of DCE.
