Al Gore and John Kerry Aim to Hijack the World Bank for Climate Agenda

Al Gore and John Kerry image from Tweet below.

World Bank Goals

The World Bank has two ambitious goals neither of which is climate change.

  1. End extreme poverty within a generation
  2. Boost shared prosperity

Goal number one will not happen, even within several generations. Goal number two is ambiguous enough that it might.

Neither of those goals has anything to do with climate change but Al Gore and John Kerry want to change that.

At a New York Times sponsored event last week, Gore and Kerry accused World Bank President David Malpass of being a climate denier. The climate lobbyists in the press then piled accusing Malpass for  refusing “to acknowledge that the burning of fossil fuels is rapidly warming the planet.”

But climate science is not part of Malpass’ expertise, not should it be given World Bank goals. Let’s pick up from there with comments by the WSJ.

Gore-Kerry Political Hit Job

Please consider A Gore-Kerry Political Hit Job.

Bloomberg and Axios, both advocates for the Gore-Kerry agenda in their reporting, teased that the Biden Administration is looking into the issue and that Mr. Malpass’s job could be in jeopardy. Axios even hinted that Mr. Gore might then get the World Bank job.

Mr. Malpass said he isn’t resigning and made clear he thinks greenhouse gases are contributing to climate change. He has no cause to step down, having managed the bank in a commendable fashion since he took the job in 2019.

The World Bank’s main job is to alleviate poverty. This requires energy, which today is still most efficiently and affordably provided by fossil fuels. Yet Mr. Kerry recently cautioned African leaders against investing in long-term natural gas production, as if they have an alternative if they want to develop.

This is an indulgence in a place like California, which is affluent enough to pay twice what its neighboring states do for energy. But it amounts to condemning countries in Africa and much of the developing world to more decades of poverty.

Mr. Kerry may even be consigning poor countries to needless hunger from rising prices and perhaps a global shortage of natural gas for fertilizer. Climate monomania is easier to preach with a sea-side view from a bluff in Martha’s Vineyard than it is from a village with unreliable electricity in the Congo.

Climate Hypocrites

Meanwhile, Kerry and Gore travel the globe in carbon-spewing private jets or government aircraft.

Gore has been wrongly preaching climate doom for decades. They hold doom conferences to foster unrealistic emissions targets.

The irony, as noted by the Journal, is U.S. carbon emissions reductions in recent decades are almost entirely the result of the expansion of natural gas production that the climate lobby wants to shut down.

In case you missed, it please see Exploring the Massive Clean Energy Boondoggle of Burning Trees as Carbon Neutral

To the shock of everyone with any semblance of common sense, we are clearcutting forests and burning the trees based on the idea the process is carbon neutral.

Many of the predictions are outrageously funny.

They say that when you are imprisoned and tortured, the worst guards are not the sadists.
Those go out drinking Fri night and take the week end off.
The worse are the ones that are earnestly doing it for your own good.
The same logic applies to crusading politicians: much worse than ambition, corruption, or power lust.

Martha’s Vineyard should be shut down and the land returned to it’s natural state, to fight climate change. Otherwise we aren’t all in this, together.

Gore and Kerry shouldn’t be flying at all, if they really believe their propaganda.

Back in 1861, it rained for 45 straight days in California. The San Juaquine valley became something of a lake. Universal Studios and Warner Bros. sit along side the concrete lined L.A. river. When the studios first situated, there was no concrete lined channel or the Sepulveda Dam, upstream. A flood changed all that. Why is it that towns and cities have built in flood plains?

Selling propaganda to people like you is so easy . Building homes in areas that have had hurricanes for 100s of millions of years,
below sea level ( see New Orleans ) and in drought prone areas that have history of fires and floods and when the inevitable happens
tell the people the weather is changing. The same things that have been happening in those areas are still going to happen except now
they put millions of people in those places . Silly so silly what people believe .

The goal is reducing world population. The entire liberal woke agenda end game is the reduction of billions of poor people. Starve them of food and electricity. Force them to migrate to western countries where you can control them including how many kids they have.
Ever wonder why the worlds wealthiest overwhelmingly contribute to the WEF or the democratic party? Seems odd that so called money barons would contribute to socialist environmental causes. Don’t they want to pollute without having to pay for cleanup? It’s because they want to eliminate the burden of supporting the poor. One thing all environmentalist have in common is they hate people. No group wants to rid the planet of people more than environmentalists. In their minds, the best thing for mankind is for mankind to go extinct.

And yet deaths from natural disasters have been declining over the last 100 years, not increasing:
Often we are shown cleverly edited/modified data to try and fool you about what is happening. For example, you often see the US forest fire chart:
Notice how the data starts in 1984, a very carefully chosen start date. But the data available actually extends back to much earlier:

health and prosperity of those living today for those not yet born.

The problems I have with these people like Gore, Kerry, and the people who parrot their views in mainstream media and social media, such as facebook:
1. They always have the biggest homes, HUGE houses with swimming pools.
2. They usually have the most travel photos.
3. Most importantly, they always have multiple children with the exception of Greta (so far).
I live in a small apartment, I have no kids, and even though I’ve done more than my share of traveling, it’s certainly less than Gore, Kerry, and Greta and some of the facebook people who preach down to everyone.
It’s just like Gavin Newsome, Nancy Pelosi, AOC, Justin Trudeau, et cetera who told everyone else to stay home because of the coronavirus while they romped around and went anywhere they wanted and partied their rear ends off.

Where can we find someone with the balls to stop these two charlatans? I’m sick to death of the climate discussion. Of course the climate is changing. Look at the volcano from Tonga and its impact. Nothing can be done about it.

Balls has nothing to do with it.
The reason these charlatans have an audience, is exactly the same as the reason the “self driving AIs” crowd has one. And the “Mean Chinaman did it” gang. And Trump. And Sanders. And Warren Buffet. And……………:
Everyone who owns anything, and has any power, in the West; 50 years after being handed debasement theft become THE one and only way to get ahead; is completely dependent on nothing other than the kind of theft from others for their own enrichment that these two champion. Were it not for childish, harebrained excuses for why Massa Gommiment “needs” to steal from productive people, and force them to fork over to rank idiots like these two (and the rest mentioned above), these guys would have nothing. So: Childish, harebrained excuses for why Massa Gommiment “needs” to steal from productive people, and force them to fork over to rank idiots like these two (and the rest mentioned above) it is. It’s not as if any of these monkeys have the ability to do much of a real job (Trump being TV host possibly excepted…).
When everyone who owns anything, and hence has any power, is completely dependent on crass theft attempted excused by harebrained feelgood schemes, of course you’ll have a lot of harebrained feelgood schemes promoted by the leeching classes.

oh my god, I have tears in my eyes. This is tremendous progress Ahab, you finally are starting to get it. It’s all about the profit and not the whale.
As stated before, no politician is going to save anyone here, whatever ’cause’ is created is designed to bring money in for the political parties and their select few. Turn the tables on them by joining in and profiting until you can buy your very own politicians. Invest your money where politicians are investing, sell whatever the politicians are selling…it’s the only way. Profit is the key that unlocks it all.

What you don’t seem to understand is people have different risk preferences, access to information, and vary in their ability to use it. This does not mean they must follow in your pathway. Winners and losers are determined over the long term, which is why most people here do NOT brag about their successes..
