Coca Cola Confirms Training Employees ‘Try To Be Less White’

‘Try To Be Less White’

When I first saw this story I was highly skeptical.

However, the training course is available online and Coca Cola is doing its best to try to back down from the course.

Here’s the course Confronting Racism, with Robin DiAngelo

In this course, Robin DiAngelo, the best-selling author of White Fragility, gives you the vocabulary and practices you need to start confronting racism and unconscious bias at the individual level and throughout your organization. There’s no magic recipe for building an inclusive workplace. It’s a process that needs to involve people of color, and that needs to go on for as long as your company’s in business.

The free into above does not show the ending slide “Try to be less white” but what you can see is galling enough.

The video Tweet by @DrKarlynB shows more of the damning slides.

Coca-Cola Whitewash

Backlash

Late Sunday evening NewsWeek reported Coca-Cola, Facing Backlash, Says ‘Be Less White’ Learning Plan Was About Workplace Inclusion

Coca-Cola, facing mounting backlash from conservatives online, has responded to allegations of anti-white rhetoric after an internal whistleblower leaked screenshots of diversity training materials that encourages staff to “try to be less white.”

A Coca-Cola spokesperson confirmed that the course is “part of a learning plan to help build an inclusive workplace,” but also noted that “the video circulating on social media is from a publicly available LinkedIn Learning series and is not a focus of our company’s curriculum.”

Coca-Cola Logo

The Coca-Cola logo is on training snapshots in the video Tweet.

If Coca-Cola did not authorize and pay for the the training, the slides would not have their logo, Karlyn would be in deep legal trouble, and Twitter would have removed the Tweet.

Who in the hell is reviewing their training materials?

Candance Owens

Best selling author Candance Owens had this to say.

Owens is Founder of the @BLEXIT  organization. “Black people don’t have to be Democrats— still.”

Coke Is Racist

https://twitter.com/JPLuisi1/status/1363549354909446150

The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Salon, and Washington Post have no coverage of this.

All the top sites plus Coca-Cola all want to sweep this under the rug.

Why Trump Nearly Won

Please recall Politically Correct Educators Vote to Rename 44 SF Schools Including Washington and Lincoln

Also note The Dumbing Down of America is Poised to Accelerate

If you are looking for a reason why millions of people voted for Trump, look no further.

I intended to do a post on why Trump nearly won but this post will suffice.

Every bit of this is a complete outrage. It is why Trump won in 2016. Had he toned things down a bit in 2020 he probably would have been reelected.

Anonymous Comment From a Reader

It is all over universities now to the extreme. People lose their jobs without any due process if they say anything out of line with the accepted dogma even if you say it outside of work.

Corporations are following along as they have to for PR and marketing purposes.

A serious Trump could have spoken out against this and tried to bring people along to a sensible consensus. Instead, he played to the base and turned of people who might have been won over. Polls shows that most Americans do not like the Politically Correct or cancel culture but they are being run over by the diversity and inclusion masters.

This is like a mixture of McCarthyism and the Cultural Revolution in China. There are some quotes from Orwell that describe perfectly the erasure of history and the felling of statues.

San Francisco is changing the names of school from Washington and Lincoln.

This is getting out of hand and it is destructive.

If the shoe was on the other foot the rioting and looting and burning of any coke cola buildings , trucks and anything else that had anything to do with coke cola would have already started. Of and let’s don’t forget about all the law suites from every black employee . And they say there’s no racism against white people !! So after reading this if you still believe that along with White privilege then you’re stupid as hell !!!..

Black people have had to be “less black” forever. Yet, look at all the white people whining about a training that none of them had to take. None of you know the meaning of the word “perspective”. If you find this appalling, try driving while black, going to school while black, interviewing while black, shopping while black, renting/buying a property while black. Try just being black. White people have really had it hard in this country so stop buying diet Coke.

Dear Coca-Cola

I am so grateful to you for demanding that your employees try to be less white. . . . . .
After all, evil white people invented Coca-Cola, and evil white people deliver and sell your Coca-Cola and evil men and women died in wars so you could live in a free country and sell Coca-Cola. Now, you have helped me to be less white so that every time I get thirsty, I will drink a Pepsi or an RC or dirty water from a pot hole in the road! Anything to be less white! Who is next? – – – What color – – – What Race – – – What religion?

Your first instinct to be skeptical was probably the right one. I’m pretty sure Coke, just like my company, makes LinkedIn learning options available to employees. Looks like someone got a poor quality offering onto LinkedIn learning and could be accessed through a company portal.

Robin DiAngleo is the acknowledged expert in diversity training in the United. States these days, having written her magnum opus, White Fragility, which is the bible of Diversity and Inclusion these days.

The quality of the training and the qualifications of the teacher are as good as it gets in that area.

Great article with one big miss toward the end… the author says Trump could have won if he’d toned things down. I still don’t believe he lost, legally anyway. Mail-in ballots were the only way Biden got ahead, and we all know how insecure the mail is, the USPS has been telling us for decades to never send cash through the mail. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out we really have no way now of knowing who won the election, as mail-in ballots created too much doubt.

Coke employees need to join a class action law suit and sue the shit out of them. Any monies resulting should be maintained so a permanent legal team can move from one to the other and sue anyone who tries to peddle this garbage.

Welcome back Mish! I had given up on your blog about 6 months ago as Trump Derangement Syndrome had blocked all sense of rationality from your posts…you became a blind crusader in my opinion. Nice to see that with him out of the way, you can actually think coherently and objectively again.

Hopefully this trend will continue and I can gain well though out insight from your blog again!

Clearly the term “white” is a label used to denote cultural and character traights, associated by those holding a caucasian complex, and is not a visual feature of the caucasian complex itself. That is not surprising given that those who hold a caucasian complex do not usually openly display or advertise it, the tendency to be of non-caucasian racial descent is otherwise all inclusive but does little to aid in its discernment . About the only people not to suffer caucasian complex are caucasians themselves, which is obviously racist and discriminatory on non caucasians, which is what that course is all about.

“Only those less white have a true caucasian complex, so be less white or you ain’t white at all.”

Frankly, this obsession with race here in the USA is reaching hysterical proportions, much like the Salem Witch Trial era where Satan and witches were seen behind every bush and tree. Now it’s a RACIST behind every bush and tree. The problem with this is is stirs up racial hatred and eventually there is going to be a major backlash. The woke obsession with race is getting to the point where it is unbearable and laughable.

Though we talk lightly here, it is not laughable really, not one way or the other. There is similar in many countries in many forms, whether nationalism (white on white or black on black often) or by race, whether excessive bureaucracy or just an installed climate of prohibition and unease. People naturally segregate, it is normal to discriminate on who you choose to trust or not for example, if we take that option away then people will really be confronted with circumstance that they do not accept, will either lose their own sense of meaning or will rebel. Traditionally letting people organise by themselves usually works quite well. Some ideologist forcing everyone together, or to smile at each other, is absurd – it means people cannot follow their own intuition. That makes them stupid, and dangerous.

For all these concepts there are simple laws that have long existed, violence is violence and gets punished, insults not quite so much, just walking away or deciding not to relate to someone, not at all. There is no need for further concept.

If there is bias in how enforcement is carried out, that is dealt with in its place, you can’t just go and look on all white people as if they own the cops or courts and expect some other laws to be written as substitute to any injustice. That only favours the state, that only favours increased intervention and creates a wider climate of distrust.

and that some just repeat themselves:

Academic America has bought the Woke bullshit hook, line, and sinker. Now it’s working its way through corporate America.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I find it insulting that I could spend my whole career making a real effort to treat all people with dignity and respect…..and yet be called a racist merely because I happen to be white.

To me, the Robin DiAngelos of the world are a symptom of the liberal white guilt disease…..where well-meaning white people without much common sense…..become willing to confess to crimes they didn’t even know they committed in order to attain some kind of redemption somebody else is telling them they need.

This stuff comes down directly from Peggy McIntosh at Brown…..who was an extremely privileged white woman who suddenly noticed that there were black people out there who got treated a lot differently than she did…and she decided to make it her life’s work to let all the white people know how prejudiced and clueless they were.

News flash. We weren’t all as clueless as you were, Peggy.

For ordinary people in this country, who have grown up after the Civil Rights movement and have actually lived and worked and gone to school with people of races other than their own…and who were thinking that just maybe we were past some of the terrible racism of the past and we could all just move on……this seems silly and counterproductive.

Of course, if you are making bank off this enforced anti-racism movement, I’m sure it seems really righteous.

actually the point is that the entire point of Republican vote challenges was to eliminate black votes from counting in the election. They literally focused on ovewhelmingly black district. It’s not just me noticing, its the judges many of whom were appointed by Republicans. So for someone like Experian to send out a tweet supporting black history month, its quite disingeuous. They need to be called out. I’ll leave it to others about a boycot, although base on my own personal experience with the credit beureaus Id be happy if they were all boycotted. It has nothing to do wiht prejudice but their business model of how they sell our data and do not take sufficient steps to safeguard it. It’s a slimy business.
