The Wall Street Journal reports Ghislaine Maxwell Says She’d Answer Congress’s Questions if She Gets Immunity or Clemency
Ghislaine Maxwell won’t answer lawmakers’ questions about her dealings with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein unless Congress meets several conditions or President Trump grants her clemency, her lawyer said Tuesday.
In a letter to the House Oversight Committee, Maxwell’s lawyer David Markus said she would appear only after resolving her appeal of her sex-trafficking conviction before the Supreme Court. Markus added that Maxwell would require immunity for any questioning, saying she couldn’t risk further criminal exposure, and would need a list of questions in advance.
Maxwell was responding to a subpoena for her testimony from the committee, chaired by Rep. James Comer (R., Ky.). Without the requested assurances, Markus said in the letter, Maxwell would invoke her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.
“Of course, in the alternative, if Ms. Maxwell were to receive clemency, she would be willing—and eager—to testify openly and honestly,” Markus told Comer.
A spokesman for the committee said it “will respond to Ms. Maxwell’s attorney soon, but it will not consider granting congressional immunity for her testimony.”
The Trump administration has come under sustained criticism after releasing a memo saying that it didn’t intend to make public any further information from the FBI investigation into Epstein and his crimes. Figures on both the right and left accused them of backtracking on earlier promises to do so, while the administration said it had already released all of the pertinent material that it could, following an exhaustive review.

Can Trump put down on paper what Maxwell needs to say to get clemency?
If not, then Maxwell can say what she wants, regardless of what Trump wants her to say.
Then again, she wants out of prison and does not want a vindictive Trump going after her.

I know this is tinfoil hat time, but I think Epstein was a long running Mossad honey trap operation. It was not the CIA because they can’t conduct operations on US soil. Israel has long conducted espionage on the US. Ghislaine Maxwell is the daughter of an early patron of Israel who had many connections to the Mossad. Today, a simple honey trap is not enough, it has to be completely despicable (underage). He taped it to get political and monetary leverage over elites, that is where he got his money (blackmail). The US got the tapes and knew the powerful people in those tapes were entrapped and victims themselves (drugged, boozed up, etc.). From a legal standpoint, granting the Maxwell woman clemency makes no sense as she was tried and convicted in the appropriate forum for her role. She was a fool, not a dupe. She supported Epstein’s activities because it pleased her ego to have a role of importance in a rich man’s life. Her demurrals are negligible.
It’s time to face the fact that young girls will always be a source of fascination and attraction to men, and that once a woman hits 35 her appeal to the vast majority of men dwindles. These girls were not pre-puberty children. They were fertile members of society who happened to want money for their personal lives, and took payoffs to meet their needs.
