Jeffrey Epstein Commits Suicide: Questions Abound

Despite having attempted suicide once already, Epstein somehow was not on suicide watch. The result is as I expected Jeffrey Epstein Dead in Suicide at Manhattan Jail, Officials Say.

Jeffrey Epstein, the financier who was long dogged by accusations of sexual abuse of girls and who was able to cultivate a stream of high-profile friends despite his lurid lifestyle, killed himself in his Manhattan jail cell, officials said on Saturday.

Mr. Epstein hanged himself, the officials said. He was found at roughly 6:30 a.m. Saturday at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan and was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the federal Bureau of Prisons said in a statement.

Last month, a week after being denied bail on federal sex trafficking charges, Mr. Epstein was found unconscious in his cell at the jail with marks on his neck. Prison officials had been investigating that incident as a possible suicide attempt.

Mr. Epstein had been on suicide watch after he was found injured on July 23 and received a daily psychiatric evaluation, according to a person familiar with his detention. He was removed from suicide watch on July 29 and returned to the special housing unit, a segregated area of the prison with extra security, this person said.

Manhattan federal prosecutors last month charged Mr. Epstein, 66, with sex trafficking of girls as young as 14. The indictment renewed attention toward how Mr. Epstein — who had opulent homes, a private jet and access to elite circles — had escaped severe punishment in an earlier investigation into his abuse of girls more than a decade ago in Florida.

Lolita Express

Epstein’s private jet was called the Lolita Express.

According to flight logs, former President Bill Clinton flew on the “Lolita Express” a total of 27 times. “Many of those times Clinton had his Secret Service with him and many times he did not,” according to investigative journalist Conchita Sarnoff – who first revealed the former president’s extensive flights on Epstein’s “lolita express” in a 2010 Daily Beast exposé.

Clinton claimed in a July statement that he only took “a total of four trips on Jeffrey Epstein’s airplane” in 2002 and 2003, and that Secret Service accompanied him at all times – which Sarnoff told Fox News was a total lie.

“I know from the pilot logs and these are pilot logs that you know were written by different pilots and at different times that Clinton went, he was a guest of Epstein’s 27 times,” said Sarnoff.

“It would not be surprising to find that some of these flight logs…were likely designed to hide evidence of criminal activity—or perhaps later cleansed of such evidence,” wrote the lawyers for some of Epstein’s accusers in a 2015 court filing.

Questions Abound

What’s reasonably clear is that many people wanted Epstein dead in addition to Epstein himself, even assuming it was suicide.

I’m glad his suffering is over, what a burden, mostly for me I just don’t want to hear about it anymore, why we sensationalize such things..

Check out mintpressnews for the real story on the history of Epstein and how he is connected to the highest levels of global power brokers.

The picture painted by the evidence is not a direct Epstein tie to a single intelligence agency but a web linking key members of the Mega Group, politicians, and officials in both the U.S. and Israel, and an organized-crime network with deep business and intelligence ties in both nations.

The funny thing here, of course, is that now that Epstein is dead searching his private affairs will be far easier. In fact, there are strong rumors of diaries of “everyone who had fun with Epstein”. I suspect that everyone was better off having Epstein alive than dead (except for Epstein’s who’s life as a sex offender in US prison would have been hell on earth (maybe just punishment).

The issue is always who gains the most, in this case, all the affairs paper and computer that would probably been “off limits” from the FBI are now fully available. For those named, trouble have just started.

Then again…maybe Bill did it (sarcasm!)

The List of Clinton Associates Who Allegedly Died Mysteriously

CBS reports includes 46 people who died mysteriously — at least one shot herself in the BACK of the head, which was somehow ruled a suicide.

And the above list doesn’t include the four Americans killed at the US embassy annex in Benghazi, while Obama and Clinton agents were packing up Qadaffy weapons to ship to “moderate” terrorists in Syria.

NYC medical examiner has completed his autopsy, but she needs “more information” before determining cause of death. A second, private, medical examiner hired by Epstein representatives witnessed the autopsy.

If this was a straight forward suicide…. why does the medical examiner need more info?

And the US JustUs system pulls another Janga stick from the crumbling tower of confidence. A free market economy depends on the rule of law. The banksters and healthcare industrial complex have made a mockery of our JustUs system. Now the pedophile puppeteers thumb their nose at the system. Global capital is watching.

How about Russia creates “Epstein list” and places everyone connected to Epstein on it. Then sanctions them appropriately.

Bad headline, Mish. You say “Questions Abound”; but you had no questions. Your commenters had no questions. On facebook, nobody comments on it, except me.

Attorney General William Barr announced he was opening an investigation at 1 PM the same day. At 5 Pm same day, it was announced he was closing it, as a suicide with no collusion. Four hours isn’t enough to even pose a question, much less to determine if there was collusion.

He didn’t commit suicide. He’s not dead. It’s all smoke and mirrors. He’s been moved to a shack at a secure 200 acre compound in Wyoming to live with Elvis and Marylin.

Besides the obvious wonder if it was murder or suicide, one other possibility exists in a case with this much money in it.

Went to the site of a local paper and checked the comments about Epstein’s death. Half blamed Clinton, the other half blamed Trump. Nobody thinking outside red/blue and nobody thinking internationally.

This is why Epstein can be bumped off and nothing happens. The insouciance (hat tip to PCR) of the American people is so great that it’s tough to feed badly for them. They only want to latch on to narratives so simple a toddler can fully grasp them. Idiots!

@Bam_Man — we got used to the folks at the Pentagon telling “truths” like the gulf of tonkin incident and WMDs are a slam dunk. But Comey was the first FBI director to completely make stuff up about one person (an opposition candidate), while covering up obvious misdeeds of the incumbent party. The notion that at least two senior FBI agents in leadership positions (Abe and Strzok) aided and abetted the fraud…. that’s a new one.

Hoover spied on people illegally and kept illegal files… but I don’t think he was ever directly implicated in framing people like MLK etc. Years later, we have strong suspicions (and Hoover probably did it) — but we didn’t have irrefutable evidence like we have against Comey, Abe and Strzok.

And now this same scandal ridden group is going to investigate an alleged suicide in a federal prison, of a person whom the Clintons would like to silence?

The FBI has a serious conflict of interest, and they have been caught tampering with evidence to help the Clintons before. The investigation into the FBI’s deliberate malfeasance is on going — but it looks REALLY bad. The FBI committed perjury on their FISA application, failed to do even a country bumpkin investigation into Clinton’s disclosure of classified documents. They even prosecuted two other people for doing less serious violations while claiming Hilary was a teflon mafia Don (Donette?)

Lots of people wanted Esptein silenced, not just the Clintons. And maybe Epstein realized what other inmates do to pedophiles and really did commit suicide (while multiple guards failed to notice?).

But it looks REALLY fishy, and the FBI has a credibility problem

Sorry, I didn’t phrase that first part very well.

We know about Hoover and MLK (for one example), but we found evidence only after both men were long deceased. We didn’t have irrefutable evidence while Hoover was still in office / just recently fired.

Nice try, but get your facts straight. Plenty of things to blame Trump for, but when you lie you are going to get called out

Clinton was already caught lying. Flight logs show he was on the Lolita express plane at least 27 times, but his secret service detail was only with him for 7 of those flights.

And Clinton was already caught lying about getting a BJ in the oval office from a barely legal college intern. Clinton likes his trysts to be with much much younger girls. Maybe Clinton likes them 18 years and a day, while Epstein liked them under 18…

Meanwhile, the women accusing Epstein said Trump was not involved.

It was probably something in the agreement with his handlers: “If you are imprisoned you will be found dead, apparently by suicide.”

I am only speculating, but who has an operation that sets up multiple high level politicians and corporate leaders to have sex with underage girls without some country’s government spooks being involved?

Lost_Anchor

Both the NYTimes and Fox News (equally ridiculous sources, but on opposite sides of the political spectrum) quoted prison officials saying Epstein wasn’t checked until 7:30… lots of people in NYC law enforcement said that was inexcusable, so I guess the new version says 6:30.

Prison guards at that same jail are saying that no one guard would be allowed to enter alone (always groups of guards). There is a 24/7 camera and supposedly several guards watching the video feed. And Epstein would have been in a “pickle suit” which prevents a person from hanging themselves (among other things).

Prison guards are saying this. They are quoted by name in multiple media outlets representing both sides of the political crazy scale.

Maybe Epstein committed suicide, but the story doesn’t make any sense.

And an FBI that still hasn’t explained itself for trying to frame Trump doesn’t have any credibility investigating someone the Clintons wanted eliminated. That doesn’t mean that someone else wanted Epstein dead. It doesn’t rule out suicide.

It just means the FBI has a serious credibility problem, and it is their own doing.

Lost_Anchor

The same FBI that tried so desperately and failed to frame Trump? The same FBI that refused to indict Hilary — even while they indicted and convicted two others for lessor disclosures of classified info?

That FBI is going to investigate?

Right after they figure out how Vince Foster committed suicide. Right after they figure out why a Clinton white house chef committed suicide. Right after they figure out who killed Seth Rich?

That FBI is going to investigate the murder of a guy in federal custody who could bring down half the DNC?

Please. Even if this was a suicide, the FBI’s reputation is so badly damaged after Comey, Abe, and Strzok that no one is going to believe whatever story the FBI comes up with.

This is why the FBI needed to go after insider criminals like Comey. The FBI needed to exonerate themselves, and instead the FBI was part of the cover up.

Not even the other guards at that prison — who belong to the same union as the ones “watching” Epstein — believe the b#llsh!t story. Fellow prison guards are being quoted by name in NYC newspapers saying this could not have happened the way officials claim.

And the fired FBI agents have been caught red handed lying their #sses off. The FBI stooped so low that they made Trump look like a victim.

Considering his “madam”‘s dad was Robert Maxwell and the unbelievable circumstances around his death. This isn’t shocking. Guess the state should of taken his offer for bail…at least they’d have 1st rights to recoup costs. Now it goes to his estate. That’s over 50 million flushed away.

Ah did not know, you mean “The disgraced media and publishing tycoon, Robert Maxwell, was due to meet the Bank of England on the day his body was found floating in the Atlantic after he went missing off his private yacht, his sons have revealed.

Kevin Maxwell, 59, said he and his father had a shouting match on the telephone the night Maxwell died, over a meeting planned the following day with the then deputy governor of the Bank of England, Eddie George.”

That Robert Maxwell?

This is why I didn’t get my hopes up after his arrest. A case that implicates so many powerful people can’t be allowed to run its course. I see some heads exploding over on ZH, but this was entirely predictable.

With him gone the investigation can now die a much quieter death. Besides, there are Trump tweets, mass shootings, and other headlines to chase. Before long most people won’t even remember Epstein.

Just blame the Russians…”Putin did it!” And watch how many believe that, too.

After all, he’s been compared to Hitler. Though too my knowledge he does not assassinate Russian children nor has he bombed 7 nations – more nations than ever Hitler bombed – as Obama did.

The implication goes much further. Fundamentally it means that there is no such thing as the rule of law in the USA, all the bloviating and TV shows about how the system works to the contrary.
Once you have agencies such as the CIA (who spend a lot of money controlling the press and journalists, as has been extensively documented publically and even before the Senate), there is no such thing as democracy. Card carrying politicians need some form of private corruption that makes them vulnerable to blackmail — only then to they get a leg up from the powers that be.

The US tortured people and the only person convicted of a crime was the whistleblower. They are currently torturing a foreign journalist for publishing. They murdered kenny trentadue and the man in charge of the cover up was later promot3d to attorney general.

There is no rule of law for the government and the powerful. Never has been.
