Every day the credibility of Ms. Ford realistically takes another hit. Nonetheless, the believers, will not back down, to the point of absurdity.
The witch hunt Kavanaugh Hearing is Set for Thursday as Ford Commits to Testifying.
> After days of haggling over terms of a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, details about the event were still being hammered out Sunday afternoon between lawmakers and the lawyer for the accuser, California college professor Christine Blasey Ford.
> Republicans said Sunday they wouldn’t yield on one of the main sticking points in the negotiations over Thursday’s hearing: whether outside lawyers should be allowed to question both Dr. Ford and Judge Kavanaugh, in addition to senators.
> “Despite actual threats to her safety and her life, Dr. Ford believes it is important for Senators to hear directly from her about the sexual assault committed against her. She has agreed to move forward with a hearing,” lawyers for Dr. Ford said in a statement after an hour-long phone call with Senate Judiciary Committee staff on Sunday.
> Dr. Ford has objected to fending off questions from anyone other than lawmakers, which her lawyers have said would create the atmosphere of a trial. But Republican lawmakers and strategists have worried about the image of 11 male GOP senators on the Judiciary Committee questioning an alleged sexual-assault victim.
Witch Hunt vs Kid Gloves
During the witch hunt, the gloves will be off.
Strike that. One pair of gloves will be off. The other person will have one hand, if not both, tied behind his back.
> Democrats, meanwhile, indicated that if a hearing takes place, they plan to press Judge Kavanaugh about an apparent culture of drinking at his preparatory high school in the Washington, D.C., area and how much he drank as a teenager. Dr. Ford has said she believes Judge Kavanaugh was drunk when he allegedly assaulted her, which she said took place when he was 17 and she was 15.

What about drinking by Ford? Was she plastered at the party, so much so she cannot even remember where it was?
If such questions can be asked of Kavanaugh, Ford ought to face similar questions.

“There have been a lot of things said about the alcohol that was consumed by the judge as well as by others in his school. That has to be part of any relevant questioning,” said Senator Dick Durbin (D) Illinois.
Indeed! Yet, the request for such information is totally one-sided.
Curious Case of Ms. Keyser
The Washington Post reports that Ms. Leland Keyser, whom Dr. Ford had reportedly said was at the party where the alleged assault took place said this weekend that she doesn’t know Judge Kavanaugh or recall attending the party.
Ms. Keyser told the Post that she “does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present,” according to an email her lawyer sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee, obtained by The Post.
In a brief interview at her home in Silver Spring, Keyser said that she did not recall the party, but that she was close friends with Ford and that she believes Ford’s allegation.
Not only does Ford deny being at the party, Keyser also says she does not even know Kavanaugh. Yet, Keyser believes Ford.
Why? Keyser and Ford were friends.
Ford’s lawyer attempted to whitewash this absurdity.
Debra Katz, a lawyer for Dr. Ford, said: “It’s not surprising that Ms. Keyser has no recollection of the evening as they did not discuss it.”
Sheeesh.
Alleged Bravery
“She’s coming forward and very bravely saying, ‘I’m going to tell my story,’ ” Sen. Mazie Hirono (D., Hawaii), a member of the Judiciary Committee, said on CNN’s “State of the Union” program. “I believe her. Let’s put it that way.”
There is no bravery by Ford. Nor is there any reason, other than partisan politics or friendship, to believe her.
Ford’s memory is spotty (at best) and her friends she claims were there have no recollection of being there.
The strong denial theory alone suggests Kavanaugh is innocent.
Finally, it’s overwhelmingly odds-on this is a case of mistaken identity coupled with one of the sleaziest public opinion campaigns in history.

I think the mistaken identity theory was a mistake since it planted the idea in people’s mind that the claimed groping where 17-year old Kavanaugh groped 15-year old Ford actually happened but that it is just claimed that it is a mistaken identity and the groper was someone else.
Most likely there was NO groping done by anybody against Ford and the Hillary loving, Democrat funding, leftist California psychology professor from not-so-famous school just made it all up after having a bad case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Everybody who has been offered as witnesses by Ford has denied it, there are NO details, alleged grope is such minor issue that it would have led to nothing even if she had reported it in whatever year she claims it happened and it would lead to nothing if it happened today and was reported.
In Europe 20-30 years old asylum seekers rape 15-year old girls violently and get 2 years sentence or under and in Sweden’s case Swedish Judges sometimes give just conditional sentence so no actual prison time unless you commit some other crime during probation so in Sweden there is NO actual sentence for asylum seekers raping Swedish children.
Swedish immigration authorities also give these rapists asylum even after they have been convicted for rape.
The situation is the same in Germany.
Sweden and Germany have turned into a living hell because insane immigration policies and there is NO real prison sentences for 20-30 year old adult asylum seeker men who commit rapes of women and children in Sweden and Germany and in USA there is mass hysteria about a drunken grope over 30 years ago

Please enlighten us as to why the doppelganger theory has been discredited. Precisely what is proven false about it? I presume you are talking about Whelan. It is 100% believable still. Absolutely nothing about the story has been discredited.
The s**t will hit the fan if she does show up on Thursday. I am sure Republicans have got all bases covered. Dems are pushing this lie far enough (see recent midterm polls.) Going one step too far and the tide can really turn overnight. As the saying goes, you “live by the sword, die by the sword.” Sword is the lie in this case. My bet is she will not show up on Thursday.
They think we’re all idiots, but only 26% or so of us actually are. That’s also the same percentage of French voters who used to vote communist during the middle of the cold war. Democrat success now lies totally on the 26% ignorant young and congenital idiots, plus 13% black and 12% Hispanic.
The model is fraying: Hispanic incomes just hit $50,000 for the first time.

A lawyer stunt, of coarse. I have heard some of the media comments, attacking the all male republican judiciary members- for the fact that they are male. Ford doesn’t want a woman questioning her, for the purpose of exploiting the optics of only men questioning her.
And the democrat senators pushing this farce are rewarded by the media and their “base.”
There is no downside for them.
But they will wonder how America became so hyper-partisan and how democracy has broken down.
