Equality Shoes

The Hill posted these LeBron James Comments.

No matter your race, no matter your skin color, no matter where you’re from, everybody should have an equal opportunity, equal rights, be able to voice their opinion, be able to stand for something. Especially right now being in Washington, D.C., I wanted to try to make another statement here,” James said after the game when asked about the shoes.

During a locker room interview, James told reporters, “I think we all have to understand that having equal rights and being able to stand for something, speak for something, keep the conversation going.”

The Message

When I first saw the shoes, I expected a rant rant about minimum wages or how much corporate executives make vs employees.

Instead, James stated the case beautifully. "“No matter your race, no matter your skin color, no matter where you’re from, everybody should have an equal opportunity, equal rights, be able to voice their opinion, be able to stand for something."

Bingo. Well stated.
