Time is Running Out to Save the Planet, Stay Angry Says Obama

Time Really is Running Out

Stay Angry

Also  note that Obama urges youth to push leaders on climate, and to Stay Angry.

Former U.S. President Barack Obama returned to the international spotlight Monday in Glasgow, urging young people to pressure their leaders to do more to combat climate change.

Agreeing with youth campaigners, Obama said “time is really running out.”

“You are right to be frustrated,” he said. “Folks in my generation have not done enough to deal with a potentially cataclysmic problem that you now stand to inherit.”

Obama told U.N. delegates that he found it “particularly discouraging” to see the leaders of China and Russia skip the Glasgow talks.

Young Activists Seize focus at COP26 Climate Summit

The image of the day award goes to young activists with creative messages on how hot the world is getting.

Allegedly the world is getting hotter than Johnny Depp and Leonardo Dicaprio.

Gretta got into the act with a “Greewash Tweet”

Gretta said “This is no longer a climate conference. This is a Global North greenwash festival,” Thunberg tweeted. “A two-week celebration of business as usual and blah blah blah.”

400 Private Jets Take Leaders To COP26

Please note 400 Private Jets Take Leaders To COP26 Climate Summit

Private jets owned by the world’s elite have descended on Glasgow, Scotland, for the United Nation’s COP26 climate conference, filling up local airfields and angering environmentalists.

The annual summit has drawn world leaders and executives from the business world for 12 days of discussions on climate change. But it’s also drawn roughly 400 private jets to the region, Scotland’s Sunday Mail reported.

A spokesperson for Bezos Earth Fund, his philanthropic endeavor focused on climate change, told Insider in a statement that “Bezos uses sustainable aviation fuel, and offsets all carbon emissions from his flights.”

Finally, please note  that more than 40 nations agreed to stop investing in the production of coal power over the next two decades. The United States was not among them.

China and Russia did not even show up at the summit.

If Obama is so concerned about global warming, why did he spend nearly $12 million on a vacation home on the small island of Martha’s Vineyard, MA? How many feet above sea level do you think the house is? https://www.homesandgardens.com/news/president-obama-new-house-marthas-vineyard Here is another view in global warming: https://www.israelhayom.com/opinions/chill-out-about-global-warming/

Again, why don’t you show the data that shows we’ve already entered the next cooling cycle, that could rival the Maunder Minimum 300 years ago, or that the two previous warming periods prior were higher than the last?  The nutjobs globalists at the WEF, UN, IMF, BIS, and their funder’s (Gates, Soros, etc.) have been pushing this scare tactic for decades, and since they were running out of time before the sovereign debt bomb explodes, they concocted coronadoom to expedite the Great Reset / Build Back Better / 4th Industrial Revolution. Anyone that has not done their homework, and instead relies on talking head or govt official suffers from a sever case of cognitive dissonance that could be deadly (in the case of the jab).  LGB

The Earth’s average surface temperature is roughly 59F – hardly “hot” by any standard. 150 years ago we were coming out of the Little Ice Age and average surface temperature was about 57F. Whoopty-doo!  Roughly a 2F rise over 150 years, starting from an unusually cold period.
Where I live outside temperatures often change 30F from one day to the next. From night to day can easily be a 20F change. My kitchen and my living room are often 5F different in temperature. In my appartment, the temperature at floor level compared to head level can be 2-3F different. Amazing that I can survive that, when people panic over a 2F change in average temperature over 150 years. No wonder the polar bears, the bees, trees, coral, etc are all falling down dead (sarc – they’re actually not).

Which only illustrates how lame “average” temp can be and how it should not be any sort ot metric that anyone uses to measure against.

If it is, it will most likely be because a direct strike Hurricane wipes it off the map and erodes away the island.
At the rate of sea rise it will be 100 years or more at 5mm a year.

China and Russia did not even show up at the summit.

This is flat out untrue, though oft reported.
Both countries had delegations; they just did not include Putin & Xi, who were barred from doing a conference call.

God has run the climate as long as the earth has been. So relax. War via bioweapons is the real danger as we are getting a taste via covid but politician love control and bribes via contributions to art sales , foundations, Hedge funds etc

Time Really is Running Out”
A false narrative. Obama and the other elitists doo as they please, demonstrating that they are committing a fraud against the public for personal political gain.
Speaking of politics, has Gavin Newsom been injured by the Covax?

Man made global warming is a fraud. The average deep sea volcano puts out more BTUs than one years of the world’s fossil fuel consumption. There are hundreds of these volcanos.

It will start a decade or so after human CO2 missions are cut 50% or more from where they are now. Assuming it ever happens. There are things a lot worse than global warming.

At the current rate sea levels are rising it would take over 4000 years for the sea to turn my property into waterfront property, and I’m just a few meters above sea level to begin with. I wish it would come sooner since I don’t think I will live that long.

Zerohedge has an article by David Stockman entitled GreenMageddon. It discusses (with charts) the temperature and CO2 levels for the past several hundred million years. Worth the read.

I was wondering exactly WHAT “sustainable aviation fuel”  IS in the first place….so I looked it up.
You know who sells “sustainable aviation fuel” ?
BP, for one.
Just a coincidence that I bought more BP this morning.

“Former U.S. President Barack Obama returned to the international spotlight Monday in Glasgow, urging young people to pressure their leaders to do more to combat climate change.”
What a dope.
If Obama TRULY worried about climate change, he needs set his sights on global central banks.  CBs off the chart monetary policy lunacy driving mal investment thru the roof.  Of course, taming monetary policy might hurt the elites portfolios, so off limits.

This is precisely why I bought KCCA. It is specific to the California carbon credit market, which is not heavily weighted in KRBN. I think this is also precisely why Kraneshares rolled out KCCA last month.
I really appreciate Greta and Obama helping me work my plan.
I am going to buy a starter in DNN. Denison Mines is a thought leader….they are the first to try to use ISR to mine uranium in Canada (or anywhere else in the Western Hemisphere). ISR is widely used in Kazakhstan, and is the lowest cost way to mine uranium, if the deposit geology makes it feasible.
I’m also adding to my oil and gas leaders. CNQ, CVE, CVX, ERF, FANG, MRO, PSX, VLO, and XOM.

Your becoming your own energy mutual fund with all those different stocks your buying 🙂
I’d be curious to know how your basket of stocks does over the next 6 months to a year compared to mutual funds that specialize in energy / oil stocks. In other words is your extra research time worth much compared to just buying a dedicated fund in that sector.

I generally prefer to avoid large ETF’s unless that’s the only way to get exposure to something…and I abhor mutual funds and never touch them.
This portfolio is the first buy and hold play for me since 2009….I will let you know my real returns in a year, and you can see if I can pick ‘em…or not. lol.

It’s both a high value play and a play on climate change policy. The stocks are still insanely cheap, most at 2X sales or less, as Realist mentioned. Not like the NASDAQ.
Of course my thesis depends  on reasonable oil prices……but it does not depend on high oil prices. I prefer not to see very high prices.

Fwiw, this portfolio is currently about 1.25% of my net worth. I do hope to grow it if the thesis holds up over time.
