Trump’s Amazing Chart Says All You Need to Know, Can Anyone Read It?

Trump breaks down the economic numbers.

Tariff Confusion – Who Pays the Tariff

Bessent is trapped by carefully worded questions.

Mish, of late your posts are veering towards anything Trump does is bad or actually worse only concentrating on what you consider to be a bad outcome. Well I wouldn’t worry so much. The Dems will come back someday and throw away the Constitution, eliminate free speech, open the borders and throw anyone who disagrees with them in prison. Then America will be just like Europe, an intellectual communist paradise. Maybe in your spare time you could go back to economics for a while.

We can argue about what the charts say and what Trump says but I agree with another poster…the headline gathers eyes but it’s not true, other than the picture shown.

In less that 3 seconds I typed “trump from white house 4 ET 8/8/25” and a search result led to the charts presented, easily readable.

Content debatable? Yes. Readable? Yes.

What did you find that was legible? Other sources are reporting that it shows the gains in median household income since 1/1/2025 from $0 to $1,100-something. That is totally irrelevant garbage, but I will wait to see if you can correct us with actually useful info on the chart you said you actually saw with your eyes, come on now, pony up brother.

Really? Just type it into Google search as i typed it. You’ll see the chart, title, content and the mentions of the debatable parts. I just tire of the sensationalism on all sides. It was readable and what it says is up for debate (using estimates for recent data). That simple. Why is the hatred on one side and cult worship on the other a required daily thing now?
You want a link…easy…. but the point is to get folks to be more discerning and less lazy. It seemed impossible that no media outlet showed a clear picture (discernment) so I did 10 seconds of work (less lazy) and got the story.
Instead you went of the offensive attacking my comment instead.

The chart isn’t blurred. Since Trump took office Real household income is up. Since BLS overextended 1.5 million job creation it will be rectified and corrected. Job creation correction along with SPX correction will force JP to cut rates. Lower rates, a smaller gov, tariffs to protect investors and workers…

Yes, but these were estimates from Stephen Moore, Trump’s MAGA economist buddy and author of “Trumponomics”

See, Trump believes these estimates are correct and not rigged. But those from the previous BLS commissioner were incorrect and rigged.

Of course, it does not matter if other economists (including Trump nominees) think the numbers are BS: https://fortune.com/2025/08/10/william-beach-stephen-moore-clash-trump-jobs-report-bls-press-conference/. Now Trump has ‘authority’ to show he’s right. Problem solved, easy-peasy

Sorry , the dates on the bottom of the chart say Jan 25 to Jun 25. The top of the chart clearly states these are estimates. My point was that the chart in a readable format can be found easily. Where as in your article you state,“I have zeroed in on numerous clips. I cannot see what the chart says.”
Which i agree is bullshit. as your comment is not true ( about being able to read the chart) . Whether the data is bullshit is not known yet as these are estimates! The economist clearly states it is advanced data from the census bureau and won’t be published for up to another 6 months. so we don’t know officially yet. Please listen to the entire clip . It all distraction. The police state is slowly creeping in. More ICE agents, more powers for BP and ICE. More deployment spots for ICE, BP, and NAT GUARD.
Judges being arrested, people with different politics and world view being either deported or put on enemy lists.
Most of the GENPOP don’t understand there is a 100 mile inland Constitution free, no rights, zone around the entire us border. That includes most of the populace. All BP has to do is claim someone is a suspect and then boom arrests.
Detention centers being built.
Look at the whole drug thing then read Roberto Saviano’s Zero, Zero, Zero. About the Ndraghetta running Cocaine from Mexico to Europe.
The EU has had two different trials within the last four years of this groups with hundreds of arrestees.
NOPE all China.

Family of Montreal woman detained by ICE for over 3 months living a ‘nightmare’Paula Callejas is one of around 55 Canadians currently detained by ICE
I’m the Canadian who was detained by Ice for two weeks. It felt like I had been kidnappedJasmine Mooney, back in Vancouver, Canada, after her detention in Ice facilities for two weeks.
I was stuck in a freezing cell without explanation despite eventually having lawyers and media attention. Yet, compared with others, I was lucky

Brown folk showed for public arrests but White or Canadian nationals, NOPE.
I have no clue regarding Asians.

Right now nearly everything is to remove the focus form the growing police powers and various unusual moves. Once a precedence has been set it gets applied to every case.
Economic collapse. Round up the complainers and off to detention centers or places like El Salvador. Held worse that Assange.
The scariest phrase in the US ( Any nation really) is and will always be ” I’m from the government and I’m here to help”.

At least the homeless and excons hold a pleasant conversation.
Plus she was part of a cult and she and my exwife kind of committed kidnapping on an old woman being drained of her funds to support the cult.
The young ones are bad but may have some flexability in their thoughts. The old ones are just mentally shot.

Couple of points to consider:

Do you really expect the FED or the the executive branch to say there is a recession coming? The Biden administation changed the meaning from 2 qtrs of negative GDP growth to “who knows” to avoid saying recession while the purchasing power of Americans continutes to dwindle.

1) The US ran a budget suplus in June; thanks to tariffs.
2) According to the 2024 Federal Budget we are 86 billion dollars over budget on just mandatory spending without the defense budget.
3) I blame the jobs numbers squarely where they should be put, Jerome Powell. He should have lowered rates months ago. Just look at the two year treasury rate gap between the Fed Funds rate, it is historic; Betting on a jumbo cut soon.
4) The rest of the world has been lowering rates while we talk about inflation, while the rest of the world is most likely in deflation and it is finally reaching here.
5) Tariffs are a one time hit to prices and are actually deflationary, not inflationary.
6) Since when has anyone believed the first set of BLS numbers. I actually bet the jobs numbers will be revised negative for July.
7) During the Biden administation there were NO new jobs created for domestic born workers. Trump has actually started increasing that number. – Dont get me started with government jobs vs. private sector jobs.
8) Tariffs are a regressive tax and paid by the largest consumers and corporation because the purchasing power of most lower income Americans has not increased and any price increases are meet with lower sales volume.

The FED is to blame. Lowering rates could have given a little wage inflation that would be good so workers can pay on their debts and keep deflation from turning the next downturn into a deflationary depression. FED always late and “never to blame”.

AI Overview

During the period of January 2021 to June 2024, the United States saw a significant increase in employment. Of the 13.4 million total jobs added, U.S.-born workers accounted for 7.9 million, while foreign-born workers accounted for 5.5 million.

OH HELL YES THEY DID!!!

Prior to the Pandemic, this page listed 5 specific criteria that had to be met for a recession to be called by the NBER, including the traditional 2 quarters.

Here’s what it says now:

“The NBER’s definition emphasizes that a recession involves a significant decline in economic activity that is spread across the economy and lasts more than a few months. In our interpretation of this definition, we treat the three criteria — depth, diffusion, and duration — as somewhat interchangeable.”

The Fed enables the Federal govt’s profligate deficit spending by printing up the money and buying the debt. If they did not (and they should not) interest rates would go up and choke the corrupt spending. Bond vigilantes would enforce a bit of accountability on the Uniparty spenders.

They are both to blame. The Fed is a Swamp creature and will always debase the currency when the ruling class–that’s not Trump– wants it.

And how many of those other 44 or so presidents had a global pandemic to deal with?

Maybe Woodrow Wilson during the 1918-1920 Spanish Flu? Certainly, FDR during the great depression would be a contender.

And the sluggish economic recovery was absolutely the fault of all the liberal governors & mayors who shut down their states WAY too long. And I love it when people conveniently ignore that something like 14M jobs were lost due to the pandemic. Next, you’ll try to dupe us into thinking that $11T in deficit spending had nothing to do with massive rehires. Oh, and let’s not forget the near ZIRP policy that was squarely at Powell’s feet that started the biggest housing bubbles of all time that played a huge roll in job gains. And the icing on the cake is . . . drum roll please . . . HOW MANY OF THOSE JOBS WENT TO ILLEGALS? Under Trump’s watch the jobs going to illegals are falling.

Trump has every right to blame Powell for being late. That’s a fact that you nor anyone can ignore. His transitory mistake was an epic failure, possibly the biggest FFR mistake of the last 50 years.

I stand corrected – Biden administration did not change the NBER (a priviate nonprofit) definition of recession. I think it is more sinister, they try to get you to lie to yourself and question the unmidigated truth that two quarters of GDP is a recession. The NBER did not say recession but a period of economic stagnation. If it walks like a duck, it talks like a duck, it is not a fox.
This revelation that we were not in a recession with two quarters of negatvie GDP is like them telling you that there are 80 genders when every five year old knows there are two. Furthermore, I trust the NBER as much as the BLS and FED with interpeting ecomonic data. My point is still the FED was wrong on inflation and late and is wrong now. Trump will not take the blame nor will any other administation but NEITHER does the FED. I am always amazed that democratic are for raising taxes (” on the rich”) but not if Trump does it.

Rate cuts now are to bail out Trump’s policies. But they will inflict stagflation on top of the business slowdown. Re-shoring and foreign direct investment benefits goal posts are sliding off into the future (somewhat like Biden’s infrastructure and sustainable stuff did: at least out of voters’ attention and patience spans). “Day One” has turned into Someday Land. Countries are making this FDI “commitment” calculating Trump will be gone. And “Cubs cheerleaders” like this one will be silent, just as they were when W Bush’s stuff caved.
Meanwhile whatever arrangements we had will be trashed. Alternative trade and currency setups globally will finally start to light up.

So tariffs are paid by importer who passes it on, which could eventually be paid by the end consumer.
Move on. I was mesmerized by the yellow neck tie to notice the chart.

Monthly Estimates of Net Change in Real Median Household Income
(Trump Second Term)

Purports to show Real Median Household Income adjusted for inflation to reflect purchasing power in constant dollars The “median” is the middle value when all household incomes are ranked, meaning half earn more and half earn less.

Trumps chart shows March 2025 Real Median Household Income
at $0 baseline
but going to $ 1,374 as of June 2025 = in 4 months

It simply appears ficticious and a lie – just a made up chart with no basis no facts no proof

P.S. likely a bunch of Jibberish based on projections created on the alleged tax cuts and ‘ no tax on tips in the Big Beautiful Bill

The Big Beautiful Bill is also known as the BBB
The BBB being the US projected Credit Rating

Total US debt has officially crossed above $37 trillion for the first time in history.

This puts total US debt up +$780 billion since the debt ceiling was raised following the signing of the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” into law on July 4th.

We are spending nearly $3 billion on interest PER day.

Mish, regarding your question about Trump, as is often the case two things can be true at the same time.

He could also turn the chart upside down and say he has lowered pharmaceutical prices by 1500%.

People can critique all they want but this is an amazing chart! You can re-use it over and over for what you want and turn it upside down or sideways to always be useful. This chart represents the efficiency that DOGE has created.

That chart is all you need to convince idiot MAGA cuz that’s how simple folk like it. It’ll get reposted, retweeted, and Truth Socialed to death over the next few days until the Epstein thing flares up again.
