If someone  REALLY wants to STOP this war, which I sincerely doubt btw,   this fanatic Zelensky, US bribed corrupt Nazi puppet should be removed from the scene IMMEDIATELY …..but then again , who wants STUPID unprofitable peace? ….definitely NOT the fn US of A , in case you were gullible, deluded, CNN brainwashed  enough,  to think so….

The speaker of the house using a Nazi greeting, the same greeting that Bandera and his Nazi collaborators used while killing thousands and thousands of Jwes and Poles. Groups like the Idar and Azov battalion who are holding the population of Mariopul hostage, shooting families who try to escape, worship Bandera (statues of him have been erected) and dress themselves in WW2 era Nazi regalia, use this greeting. It is only a shade from saying “Heil Hitler”, in Congress!
Don’t these people realize that every bit of aid & encouragement can only result in more Ukrainian dead?
The Ukrainian 95th Airmobile Brigade (creme de la creme of the UAF) was just obliterated in Avdeevka.
The foreign legion was destroyed in Iarovov by a visit from Mr Kalibr, those who survived came to their senses and quit.
What is the point of a suicidal last stand if you can simply avoid it?

“What is the point of a suicidal last stand if you can simply avoid it?”
The guys you are referring to, even assuming you may be overdoing the hobgoblinization of them a bit, are not “Ukraina.” Outside of Afghan villages, The Government and The People are not only separate entities with little in common. But even: Everywhere else, the former lives high, mighty and privileged, specifically from preying on the latter.
So to these “leaders”, the calculus is completely different than it is for rank and file civilians. To the “leaders”, a Russian “victory” means it is the Russians who get to erect kangaroo tribunals, and arbitrarily deem and hold and find and judge and decide etc. who are “war criminals” and who are “heroes.” Which is about as bad a situation as you can get for Azov dudes and their ilk, considering the Kremlin is justifying a bunch of dead Russian soldiers to a large extent by their need to “de-nazify” Ukraine.
So, these guys have every reason keep burning and pushing every civilian Ukrainian in front of them as shields, for as long as they can. In the hope that “their side” will “win”, so that they will instead be deemed and held and found and judged to be “heroes.” By the same US/West supported kangaroo courts, which will instead deem and hold and find and judge and decide that a bunch of Russians who are the hobgoblins and boogeymen and war criminals and whatnot.
All wars between totalitarian regimes and their standing armies work this way. Doesn’t matter whether Russia vs Ukraine, US vs anywhere, Israel vs Palestine….. The only way to avoid them, is if civilians have a realistic say. Which they currently only do in Afghanistan. As there, civilians are properly armed. Properly armed always and everywhere referring to no less than being able to resist any and all attempts by THEIR OWN government to impose on them, their livelihoods and the place they live. Once their own government is thus neutralized and rendered a properly limited government, dealing with foreign invaders is just an easy bonus.

Doesn’t work. Americans are armed. No effect on their government.

Everyone is nominally “armed.” All that takes is having a pair of arms (at least as long as those have fists attached to them.)
PROPERLY armed, means having enough arms to have an effective veto power over government. Meaning: The People needs to have enough, and sufficiently powerful, arms to ensure The People are masters, Government their servants.
In Afghanistan, if government oversteps their (in that political culture seemingly rather limited…) bounds, Kabul gets shelled into a rubble pile. Again…. That was supposed to happen, about once a generation or so, to Washington, DC as well, per Jefferson. But, Americans, as were to become their habit, failed massively at that one as well. Hence are, by now, most decidedly reduced to mere servants bent over by their Master’s standing army. No matter how many magazine limited, non silenced, non armor piercing pea shooters they get to proudly show off on Instagram.

The dead numbers are much larger for the Russians.  I heard 7000 dead Russians on a news program today vs maybe 2000 Ukrainian fighters.  Ukrainians are kicking Russian butt!  Plus there are a lot of Russian POW’s and others who have surrendered.
Captured Russian soldiers fear firing squad as funerals ‘already arranged’ back home
A Kremlin soldier, who gave himself up to Ukrainian forces, said his funeral has already been ‘arranged for him’ in Russia as he reports of demoralised troops continue to come out
11 Mar 2022
Also that Russia has portable crematories in the field where they are burning bodies and storing the ashes so they don’t have to send back body bags of dead people to the motherland.

This is strange: searching “ron paul institute” in google does not give the address of the site  link to ronpaulinstitute.org  in the first page, nor in the next 4 (I did not see further). But  on duckduckgo, bing and yandex it is the first result.
Has this something to do with the opinions given in this site about Ukraine ?

Ukraine needs to make peace sooner rather than later even if it means they get a worse deal from Russia than they like.
Europe may be extremely supportive at the moment but only 20 days in and already 3 million refugees have left Ukraine with more than 2 million streaming into Europe (the rest to Russia and Belarus). Poland has the bulk of them now but won’t be able to feed/house 2 million for long which means passing them and future refugees on to Germany, France and the rest of the EU.
Remember back in 2018 (or was it 19) when massive refugees were streaming into Europe. I forget now the total but I doubt it was more than 1 million total and already there are 2x that now with more to come the longer this goes (could be looking at 5-10 million). Europe struggled with 1 million or so and now they are looking at MANY more. If the war goes months then how many will stay when it finally ends (why go back to a destroyed country or one under Russian oppression) or be forced to stay for a full year (if there is no food planted later this spring and war runs to the early summer since fall/winter will be brutal with food/shelter issues in a war torn country many will prefer to stay till next spring) and how many European countries can house/feed/clothe 1+ million refugees.
Turkey is going to be watching VERY closely since they have 6+ million Syrian refugees from the war there (started by the US of course) they long wanted to send to Europe but were refused (remember all the fences various countries built). Should Europe freely take millions of Ukrainians then Turkey will rightly ask why not Syrians unless you are racist/religious prejudiced. Things will get ugly with Turkey in other words.
European solidarity will be truly tested in the next 3-4 months if things drag on.

The US leadership has no interest in ending this war. That is an excellent point  is how European solidarity reacts as this goes further out. Europe will now have to take in millions of refugees which escalates the longer the war drags on. Europe is paying an extreme price for sanctioning Russia and as one German politician has already stated, we may be hurting ourselves more than the Russians. And then add in the refugee crisis and it only gets worse for the Europeans.

Many companies in Germany and Europe are already in the process of lowering production or completely shutting down. The economic slowdown is just getting started. Just wonder what the European leaderships are going to say when they have mass unemployment, poverty and millions of refugees start pouring in.  Decisions are being made without a consideration of consequences. And those consequences will be shared more by some than others.
“The Green party politician predicted “mass unemployment, poverty, people who can’t heat their homes, people who run out of petrol” if his country stopped using Russian oil and gas.”

I always maintained that Syrian refugees were an Arab problem, but that would be too much to ask of them.
The Euroc* painted themselves as humanitarian superpower, and were asking to be flooded with refugees and migrants of all stripes.
The hypocrisy on Syrian regime change operation is sky high: a joint operation of USA, Turkey and some Arab regimes without an outcry.
Ukrainian refugees are Europe’s problem and duty. They laid their bed, and now have to sleep in it.

The UK is taking “unlimited” Ukrainian refugees. The U.S. should start taking in unlimited refugees as well. Ship them over on idled cruise ships which hold about 5000 people each. Massive round the clock airlifts. Give each Ukrainian $70,000 for resettlement expenses like we did for the Afghanis. We’re short 5,000,000 workers so lets get those refugees over to the U.S. ASAP. Plus 5 million new people will give a boost to the slowing housing market.

Ukraine needs to make peace sooner
They could have forestalled the whole thing on 22/23 february by heeding the ceasefire that the peace-keeping troops in Donetsk offered, just by stopping the shelling. Then they could have sat down to discuss the borders of the LDNR, as offered.
Instead they accelerated the lobbing of shells.

They thought it was the best response for them.  Just as our leadership thought invading Iraq back in 2003 was the right course.

Ukraine doesn’t seem too serious about working out some sort of agreement with Russia. Zelenskyy seems more interested in getting more weapons and a no-fly zone from NATO. Meanwhile there are some reports that the Ukrainian troops are preventing/restricting civilians from leaving some population centers in Ukraine. If we weren’t propping up the Ukrainian army, I’m sure they would figure out some compromise with the Russians and fewer people would die in the conflict. But war is the biggest export of the US so that would be bad for business.
