The Wall Street Journal reports Trump May Send Tomahawks to Ukraine
President Trump threatened to send long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine, should Russian President Vladimir Putin continue to decline his efforts to negotiate a peace deal in the region.
“I might say, look, if this war’s not going to get settled, I’m going to send them Tomahawks,” Trump told reporters on Air Force One on Sunday as he flew overseas to Tel Aviv, where he is set to take part in a ceremony for a landmark peace deal between Israel and Hamas.

What if President Trump does send Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine? Putin should at minimum understand where this is heading and he accepts the consequences if he insists on continuing the war.
1) Russia is the de facto winner of this existential war, so unless NATO escalates to nuclear, which is murder/suicide, Russia will dictate terms.
2) Russia is not afraid of conventional warheadTomahawks, which would cause similar “obliteration” as occurred in Iran, which is to say a next to nothing burger.
3) As a reminder, China is Russia’s ally in a big war. That combination has technical equality, superior manpower and warfighting experience, superior manufacturing capability, and favorable geographical positioning in a big war.
Draw your own conclusions from these factors.
