"Lesley, you discredited yourself," said Trump repeatedly to 60 Minutes interviewer Lesley Stahl.

After Trump walked out Stahl tells Vice President Mike Pence: “I feel that you both have insulted ‘60 Minutes’ and me by not answering any of our questions.”

In the interview, Mr. Trump tells Ms. Stahl that he wants the Supreme Court to abolish the Affordable Care Act, saying: “I hope that they end it; it’ll be so good if they end it.”

Will that combative interview help Trump?

I fail to see how the interview swings undecided female voters, those over 65, or those whose main concern is Covid.

Besides, there are very few undecided voters remaining.

Even if it helps Trump slightly, slight help is not enough. Trump needs a near miracle.

More likely, it hurts Trump slightly even though is supporters will likely cheer this as a win.

Question of the Day

Stellar Performance by Marine Le Pen on 60 Minutes

Marine le Pen put in a stellar performance on 60 Minutes on Sunday. Le pen came across as very presidential. The interview, in French but translated, is sure to boost her standing in the French presidential election on May 7.

Add Toomey to the List of Republicans Willing to Impeach Trump

Senator Pat Toomey (R) Pennsylvania says Trump committed impeachable offenses. That makes four Republican Senators.
