Why Trump Will Lose the Election in One Word

Huge Gender Gap

The Financial Times discusses the gender gap in ‘Please like me’: Donald Trump loses ground with suburban women

Entire Biden Lead Can Be Attributed to Women

Preference for President Men

Preference for President All Women

Preference for President College-Educated Women

The above three graphs are from an excellent WSJ video on the Gender Gap

Here’s a video that everyone has access to.

“Will You Please Like Me?”

Trump Insults Women While Asking for Support

So can I ask you to do me a favor? Suburban women, would you please like me? Please. Please. I saved your damn neighborhood, okay. The other thing, I don’t have that much time to be that nice. You know, I can do it, but I got to go quickly. We don’t have time. They want me to be politically correct. Oh, yes. Let’s discuss it. Let’s talk about it over the next ten years. No, no, no. No. We saved your we saved suburbia in the U.S.

If that transcript is not insulting, what is?

Hunter Biden Irrelevance

If you are focused on the alleged Hunter Biden gossip you are clueless as to what you should be watching.

No one cares about Hunter Biden but those who are going to vote for Trump no matter what.

Shock Coming to Delusional Trump Fans

Barring Biden keeling over between now and the election, this is all over but the shock of delusional Republicans who still believe Trump will win.

Oh, Mish,

You actually have faith in anything YouGov puts out? With their 15-point margin of sampling Dems of Reps? Or their “unweighted” September snap poll on RBG’s replacement which sampled Dems over Reps by a margin of 19 points (47% Dems, 28% Reps). Or the fact that their presidential polls are so precise they never wander from the 8-11 point window?

You are special, my friend. You are extra special.

I took a long time before commenting on this one.

I happen to be married to a woman who is probably typical on many issues……she is willing to vote for a candidate she perceives as being more fair, more against racism, more inclined to give money to the poor, more likely to promote universal healthcare…….than a candidate who might truly represent her own best interests…..as an upper-middle class American who has paid between a million and 2 million in income tax every decade for the last two decades.

She is easy prey to an opportunistic group of grifters like BLM…..she supports social engineering to level the playing field in all walks of life, for all groups she considers downtrodden and discriminated against. She is perfectly happy to believe the false narrative of the Democratic Party.

Like many of my more liberal male friends, she is a campaigner….not worried by the real truth of anything. She is for causes…not for intelligent policy.

But that is how Democracy works, I guess…in the 21st Century.

White House was warned Giuliani was target of Russian intelligence operation to feed misinformation to Trump

By

Josh Dawsey
Oct. 15, 2020 at 4:15 p.m. PDT
U.S. intelligence agencies warned the White House last year that President Trump’s personal lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani was the target of an influence operation by Russian intelligence, according to four former officials familiar with the matter.

The warnings were based on multiple sources, including intercepted communications, that showed Giuliani was interacting with people tied to Russian intelligence during a December 2019 trip to Ukraine, where he was gathering information that he thought would expose corrupt acts by former vice president Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

The intelligence raised concerns that Giuliani was being used to feed Russian misinformation to the president, the former officials said, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive information and conversations.

The warnings to the White House, which have not previously been reported, led national security adviser Robert O’Brien to caution Trump in a private conversation that any information Giuliani brought back from Ukraine should be considered contaminated by Russia, one of the former officials said.

The message was, “Do what you want to do, but your friend Rudy has been worked by Russian assets in Ukraine,” this person said. Officials wanted “to protect the president from coming out and saying something stupid,” particularly since he was facing impeachment over his own efforts to strong-arm Ukraine’s president into investigating the Bidens.

But O’Brien emerged from the meeting uncertain whether he had gotten through to the president. Trump had “shrugged his shoulders” at O’Brien’s warning, the former official said, annd dismissed concern about his lawyer’s activities by saying, “That’s Rudy.”

Giuliani visited the White House on Dec. 13, shortly after the House Judiciary Committee voted to proceed with articles of impeachment, and he met with Trump at the president’s resort in Florida eight days later.

Officials’ warnings about Giuliani underscore the concern in the U.S. intelligence community that Russia not only is seeking to reprise the disinformation campaign it waged in 2016, but also may now be aided, unwittingly or otherwise, by individuals close to the president. Those warnings have gained fresh urgency in recent days. The information that Giuliani sought in Ukraine is similar to what is contained in emails and other correspondence published this week by the New York Post, which the paper said came from the laptop of Hunter Biden and were provided by Giuliani and Stephen K. Bannon, Trump’s former top political adviser at the White House.

The Washington Post was unable to verify the authenticity of the alleged communications, which concern Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine and China.

The former officials said Giuliani was not a target of U.S. surveillance while in Ukraine but was dealing with suspected Russian assets who were, leading to the capture of some of his communications.

Giuliani was interested in acquiring information from his foreign contacts about Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company where Hunter Biden held a board seat, as well as Biden’s activities in Ukraine, China and Romania, two former officials said. Giuliani’s eagerness was so pronounced “that everybody [in the intelligence community who knew about it] was talking about how hard it was going to be to try to get him to stop, to take seriously the idea that he was being used as a conduit for misinformation,” one former official said.

Earlier in 2019, U.S. intelligence also had warned in written materials sent to the White House that Giuliani, in his drive for information about the Bidens, was communicating with Russian assets.

Several senior administration officials “all had a common understanding” that Giuliani was being targeted by the Russians, said the former official who recounted O’Brien’s intervention. That group included Attorney General William P. Barr, FBI Director Christopher A. Wray and White House Counsel Pat Cipollone.

Spokespersons for the FBI and the Justice Department declined to comment. A spokesperson for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence referred inquiries to the White House.

“National Security Advisor O’Brien and White House Counsel Cipollone meet with the President frequently on a variety of matters. Ambassador O’Brien does not comment on sensitive intelligence topics, or on the advice he provides President Trump,” National Security Council spokesman John Ullyot said in a written statement. The national security adviser “can say that the President always treats such briefings with the utmost seriousness. The characterization of the meeting as described in this article is not accurate.”

In a text message on Thursday, Giuliani said that he was never informed that Andriy Derkach, a pro-Russian lawmaker in Ukraine whom he met on Dec. 5 in Kyiv, was a Russian intelligence asset. Giuliani said he “only had secondary information and I was not considering him a witness.” But Giuliani met again with Derkach in New York two months later, hosting him on his podcast, and he has promoted Derkach’s unsubstantiated claims about the Bidens, describing Derkach as “very helpful.”

In September, the U.S. Treasury Department sanctioned Derkach for allegedly running an “influence campaign” against Joe Biden, calling the Ukrainian “an active Russian agent for over a decade” who has maintained “close connections with Russian intelligence services.”

In August, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence publicly described Derkach as part of a Russian effort to interfere with the 2020 election by smearing Biden. The office of the DNI accused Derkach of “spreading claims about corruption — including through publicizing leaked phone calls — to undermine” Biden and the Democrats.

For some officials, Trump’s willingness to meet with Giuliani despite warnings about Russian influence smacked of the collusion allegations that dogged the president after the 2016 election. Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III said he did not find evidence to substantiate a criminal charge of conspiracy against anyone in the Trump campaign. But his investigation documented numerous instances in which Trump associates knowingly sought damaging information from Russian individuals and their proxies about Hillary Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential candidate.

Giuliani was not shy about his pursuit of information that might damage Biden, taking a documentary film crew from the right-wing One America News to Ukraine in December when he met with Derkach. At the time, Giuliani claimed that Trump had directed him to share his findings with the Justice Department and Senate Republicans.

Officials’ fears about what Giuliani might tell the president were compounded by Trump’s generally furious reaction to negative intelligence about Russia and its efforts to influence U.S. politics.

“Whenever you talk to the president, no matter what your facts are, if you mention Russia, that’s it — you’ve hit the third rail,” one of the former officials said. Trump has called Russia’s documented campaign of election interference a “hoax” that was drummed up to challenge the legitimacy of his election and undermine his administration.

Trump has relied for years on Giuliani’s counsel. But in recent months, as the president has found himself behind in the polls, the former New York mayor has become an even closer confidant, aides and officials said. Giuliani has visited the White House for debate preparations, given the president tips on his response to the coronavirus pandemic, promoted the controversial drug hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for covid-19 and discussed what political events and rallies he thinks the president should hold.

Giuliani also was a major source of information during the impeachment, when Trump tried to rebut allegations of abuse of power by airing false allegations that Biden, while serving as vice president, had pressed for the removal of a Ukrainian prosecutor to spare his son from being investigated.

During his impeachment trial in the Senate, Trump denied sending Giuliani to Ukraine to dig up dirt on Biden, who was then a contender for the Democratic presidential nomination. But after his acquittal, Trump reversed himself, acknowledging in a podcast interview with Geraldo Rivera that he had directed Giuliani to go to Ukraine.

“So when you tell me, why did I use Rudy, and one of the things about Rudy, number one, he was the best prosecutor, you know, one of the best prosecutors, and the best mayor,” Trump said. “But also, other presidents had them. FDR had a lawyer who was practically, you know, was totally involved with government. Eisenhower had a lawyer. They all had lawyers.”

Months earlier, Trump also had told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that he should meet with Giuliani.

“Mr. Giuliani is a highly respected man. He was the mayor of New York City, a great mayor, and I would like him to call you,” Trump told Zelensky in a phone call on July 25, 2019, according to a partial transcript released by the White House. “I will ask him to call you along with the Attorney General. Rudy very much knows what’s happening and he is a very capable guy. If you could speak to him that would be great.”

That phone call was the centerpiece of the impeachment case against the president.

Regarding the Hunter Biden story, the FBI is now investigating whether this was a Russian operation because of the inauthenticity of the emails. In short, it appears as if the emails were doctored because the person that gave Rudy the information also gave it the federal government. The government has the originals and now they are comparing it what has been disclosed by Rudy, which appears to be doctored. Trump and Rudy keep trying to use Russia to do their dirty work despite the fact that the intelligence community knows Russia interfered in the 2016 election. Once the Senate Intelligence Committee reports on Russia have the redacted portions uncovered, the truth will come out. This whole thing has been a great test for the intelligence community but a good one. They are watching and listening to the President everyday. Trump knows he is toast if he loses the election. This is why he suggested he may have to leave the country.

My view as a Canadian is I see the Democrats as being dangerous to Democracy. It’s not Biden that is the problem, it’s the young “woke” far Left faction of the party that want to shutdown any speech they deem non progressive. If people haven’t seen the evidence of this they are blind, they attack anyone who dares question their very radical ideology and they are not satisfied to just shut them down, they want to destroy them.

s is not the Democrat party of years ago, this is the new and upcoming party of the far Left and they are every bit or even more dangerous than the far right. Keith Obermans latest rant is a classic example of really how unhinged the Far Left is and what they really would like to do to anyone who dares hold a different opinion than they hold. This is really dangerous rhetoric that has the potential to split your nation or at worst push the US to another Civil War.

@zimminy…….You have hit on one of the two or three worst problems with the Democrats. This has arisen as a direct result of their false narrative around identity politics and political correctness.

It is a legitimate concern, for sure…..hopefully the more extreme elements in the anti-racism camp can be seen for what they are…..hopelessly misguided. But I’m not that hopeful.

This disturbing trend is big in your country too…just not as visible right now. It’s a world-wide delusion……one of the few things that might make someone like me into an ex-pat.

They are told they arent crazy by liberals who believe that feelings mean a damn thing in this world. Sorry they are in your head. That is a story they tell themselves to feel OK. In reality, it doesnt matter because the men chose as well, and they bench press a hell of a lot more, and dont have menstral cycles. Its a pretty big advantage, and the cost to regulate this difference is actually more than society can bear, they’ll figure that out in the long run.

Anyway, yes, he will lose because of Women. Great. I hate the guy, but you know what I hate more? The people that vote for him or Biden.

Sigh, it’s clear both people on the far right and left want a nice USA bedtime story, and that’s the root of most of American’s problems.

Putting aside the deranged narcissist and he is deranged and this point but he isn’t really the problem, remember millions voted for him, it was easy to see this coming for a half aware person. Let’s put him aside, I don’t want to waste any more keystrokes on him, he can sink into oblivion/rot in his narcissism.

Those whole believe Biden is some type of savior better think again, remember Obamacare ? Yeah it covered millions but did nothing to address the healthcare industry and the billions they are raking in, in fact members of Obama’s family/inner circle where/are tied directly to the healthcare system. Remember the financial crisis in 08/09 , how many bankers did the Obama admin prosecute, how many companies did he allow to go bankrupt to show that the government was half serious about the blatant corruption on Wall Street? Oh that’s right zero, the Obama admin did virtually nothing that improved/put American in a better trajectory, Biden was number 2 in this admin, remember? This admin was the reason people were so open to Trump to begin with along with it’s blessing of an extremely flawed candidate.

The anecdotal view in my area is women really do hate President Trump. They spend most of their time talking about why President Trump is bad and typically they have no discussions about why a Biden/Harris administration would be good.

I cannot support Democratic tax plans. I cannot support Democratic spending priorities. I cannot support the Green New Deal, which is really a giant tax grab where government will heavily tax energy. I cannot support agreements like the Paris Accords, which are veiled ways of wresting away the ability of the U.S. to make sovereign decisions. Today California suffers from rolling blackouts because of these kind of energy policies. If the US continues down this energy policy path before the technology makes sense, then we are all eventually going to have “no electricity days” like we periodically have “no burn days” in the winter. Everything that uses energy could become very expensive (hint: that’s nearly everything). This would hurt quality of life and future prosperity within United States.

I prefer Trump administration policies over Biden/Harris, but feel discouraged about voting for Trump due to his egotistical performances. Also, what was the point of him abandoning the Senate Republicans at the last minute in favor of trying to make a deal to fund Nancy Pelosi’s wish list? I understand that he wants money ASAP to help people who are financially suffering, but now he looks unprincipled. I wish I had a better option than Trump, but what good would voting for a third party presidential candidate do? Might as well not vote as do that, and since silence would be consent to being governed by the opposition, Trump it is. Also, if Trump is re-elected odds are better that political power in Washington will remain divided between the parties. I am in favor of that.

Trump desperately needed to use the debates to articulate why four more years would be better than the Biden/Harris alternative (by highlighting Trump advantages instead of insulting Biden). Instead, he showcased that he can be a rude S.O.B. in a formal debate setting. Nobody likes rude behavior, especially women. He needs to make several awesome, polite, 3-point shots at the last debate or he his cooked. He also needs to refrain from personally attacking Biden and the moderator, no matter what they might do or say. If he ignores them and does an excellent job of describing why 4 more years would be good for America then that might help his chances. Maybe.

No one ever claimed Trump was a social model for anyone or that he had a likeable personality. The fact is there is a big difference between being likeable and being an effective President.
This election is not about personalities, it is about stopping the radical socialist swing that is being pushed by the Democrats. What Democrats are proposing is nothing short of a fascist communist State. Their policies are in direct contrast to everything America was founded on.

I don’t want my taxes raised but also don’t think that his proposed changes are that bad macroeconomically – effective corp tax rate much much diff than headline and given how well 1% have done we should pay more. Painful but I’ll make more money in a world where we don’t kill the golden goose of American freedom and democracy. Trump is practicing a form of gangster capitalism (see attempted shakedown of pharma industry, see attempted shakedown of Tiktok/Oracle, and on and on). His “economy” is a fraud, the gdp quarters above 3% were due to the massively deficit increasing fiscal package. The promised boom in capex from tax cuts and fiscal never appeared due to the Trump volatility premium – why would any biz invest when policy making is this chaotic and geopolitical uncertainty skyrocketing?

On the other stuff I think Biden is pretty centrist and I’ve read US is meeting decarbonisation goals voluntarily? Not following closely so could be wrong.

Trump’s push to alienate all allies is a truly mind-bogglingly dumb strategy if you think the China geopolitical rivalry is the most important foreign policy issue going forward. Trump’s policy has failed here as well – not one job came back to America.

I could go on..

If you don’t vote for me you aint black -Joe Biden. That’s pure racism based on low expectation for black people’s to be defined entirely by skin colour. As is a remark such as ‘black women… want nothing to do with Trump’. Racists never see people as individuals with a capacity to think for themselves.

That whole Hunter Biden story was a Rudy Giuliani special anyway, they planted that computer (hard drive) at that repair shop and it was a ginned up copy of the one Biden actually owned some years back, the russian FSB is really good at planting fake crap in machines. Our national intel had warned Trump of this 10 MONTHS ago.

Anything that crook is involved with it is best to treat it like it will infect you with rabies. Oh yeah and Steve Bannon was mixed up in it as well, after being ARRESTED on fraud charges in August! Really nice people you republicans have for leadership there.

For those on the right that are looking forward to Trump trying to steal the election after the vote with his armies of lawyers going to court to try to get results tossed out on the grounds that mail in voting is loaded with fraud keep dreaming but never going to happen.

A well respected legal scholar, former army prosecutor, Glenn Kirschner, explains why Trump has basically had no successes in court cases to date, like putting a citizenship question on the census. They tried to kill DACA and were shot down. Trump’s suit that claimed all executive branch officials are absolutely immune from congressional subpoenas, the judges were not having none of it! AG Barr argued that he had an absolute right to dismiss the charges against Mike Flynn even though Flynn had pleaded guilty. The courts told them to take a hike. Trump went to court claiming his IRS tax returns were absolutely immune to subpoena and that he could not be compelled to show them to anyone. He argued in front of the US Supreme Court that he was above the law and above the courts. The justices INCLUDING his own appointees Gorsuch and Kavanaugh kicked his ass, told him that he not above the courts or the law and the president is accountable.

Well it boils down to judges not being stupid and there being a doctrine of “clean hands” (fofeiture by wrongdoing) such that when you go into to court to ask something of a judge and legal system you cannot have done anything to set up the problem in the first place.

Trump plans to go to court and claim voting results should be tossed because the vote was rigged or interfered with, but who rigged it? who told his supporters to vote twice? Who put a postmaster general in place with the sole intention of slowing the mails so mail in ballots would not be counted by the millions? Which is a felony by the way, interfering with the mails that is. Using the USPS to ditch millions of votes probably isn’t legal either.

I know no Trump supporters will watch it so when Biden wins in a landslide and Trump tries to get the results tossed and fails this will be the reason why, and his supporters who are perfectly ignorant of how the law works will come here and scream and yell and threaten violence and generally make asses of themselves, but all they have to do is watch this video to understand why Trump is going to get not only laughed out of court but most likely prosecuted for having attempted to have our votes voided in the first place.

Not only that but even if Hunter Biden had acted illegally or unethically HE isn’t running for office, his father is, and I would be disappointed for Joe, but not disappointed IN Joe, because he is a loving father that did right by his family, under circumstances none of us should ever have to endure, and no matter how hard parents try their kids do make mistakes.

This whole “look over there” diversion tactic Trump and his supporters and russian spies use is simply not going to work. In fact it will backfire because all it does is invite comparison between a good family like the Biden’s and the really subhuman mafia crime sleaze family of the Trumps. And unlike Donald Trump that brought his amoral greedy little bastards into the White House to further degrade democracy and loot the treasury, Joe Biden will not be allowing Hunter to set policy and abuse the office for the benefit of the family business.

You republicans out there who support Trump will wake up one day after the election and realize what the people of Germany realized in about 1946 or 47, your hypnosis with a monster is over, and you will never be able to forgive yourselves. Well some of you anyway, others will remain just as hate filled that no other life motivation matters, you will die old and alone because nobody wants to be around you.

To summarize, if republican bots do not care about Trump paying off hookers and porn stars then why should democrats give the first F()CK what Hunter Biden did?

I remember when Democrats/left were mad that Ivanka got some trademarks approved in China and thought this was abuse of her position.

Now that it is clear Hunter Biden got 10 million dollars from China per year to do “introductions” while Joe Biden was VP and responsible for USA’s China policy and that Hunter Biden got 3.5 million dollar wire transfer from a member of Putin’s elite the wife of mayor of Moscow and that Hunter Biden got millions from Burisma for Joe Biden protecting the Burisma leadership by getting Ukrainian prosecutor fired that was looking into the Burisma corruption otherwise Ukraine would not be getting the billion leftists/Democrats are calling the Joe Biden family “loving”.

Joe Biden was getting a cut from Hunter Biden’s corruption only made possible by Joe Biden being VP and part of the corruption:

Biden campaign’s defense is that the meeting was not on his calendar.
So they KNOW the meeting happened, otherwise they would be saying the meeting NEVER happened.

Biden campaign has also NOT disputed the emails and said that they are FAKE so the emails are REAL and Biden campaign is just worried what other emails there might be.

The way Twitter prevented the story link from being spread and how they mass-locked accounts is straight up Soviet Union style tactics if they would have had social media companies.

Bashing Trump is so important to him…he says some things that someone with his experience must know is wildly wrong….like Trump could be prosecuted for murder because he caused so many COVID deaths,

Pure bullshit.

When looking at Trump, most people don’t realize the fact he got elected in 2016 was more a factor of the time/conditions at the time rather than any great political campaign he ran, any well known pitchman could have got elected in 2016 on the GOP side, he simply rode the wave against the establishment which has been his M.O. since he came into public view.

Now that he has to run an actual real race you see how flawed of a candidate/person he is. The guy has gone bankrupt multiple times/run businesses into the ground multiple times, this is no real surprise as if you have of how to run a business you immediately realize that his management style would lead to losses in the billions/hundreds of millions, which is exactly what has happened. The real surprise would be if he actually won in 2020, then you would know the public at large is just as gone as he is.

The real kicker, Joe Biden really won’t be any better. The country is in trouble it needs actual real solutions, but real solutions involve pain and no one is proposing that. America is 400 pound morbidly obese person with high blood sugar insisting on another box of donuts.

I can see a path where he is better – uses DPA to get huge amount of fast testing and REGN etc therapeutics (neither of which Trump did), avoid national lockdown debate, stick with mitigation, testing, tracing and income replacement for those unable to work. And then do infrastructure. Hopefully won’t go crazy on the taxes.

Democrats have repeatedly BLOCKED additional Covid help packages where Republicans wanted to spend 500+ billion to almost 2 trillion.

The Regeneron Antibody cocktail that Trump got is in 3rd phase clinical trials BECAUSE of Trump reducing the bureaucracy and creating operation Warp Speed to bring therapeutics and a vaccine to the market more quickly.
Trump has promised that Regeneron Antibody cocktail will be available for everybody and paid by the Federal government as soon as the 3rd phase is finished.

Under Trump the testing was turned over to private companies from the Obama model of CDC doing the testing and this resulted in USA doing more tests than rest of the world COMBINED and development of rapid tests.

Biden has stated that he will COMPLETELY lockdown USA if an “expert” recommends it to him despite the problems created by the mostly Democrat governor done lockdowns already being larger than the 200k+ deaths.
suicides, drug overdoses, drug/alcohol addiction, children missing school, family violence are all through the roof.
Fauci has wanted lockdown until end of winter…

All European countries that had TOTAL LOCKDOWNS are seeing huge spikes recently so one can not LOCKDOWN their way out from Covid no matter if one is willing to totally destroy the economy and people’s lives to do it like Democrats and Biden are willing to do.

Only about 10k of deaths are from Covid alone in USA and the rest have on average 2.6 serious comorbidities according to CDC’s own stats like heart, liver, kidney problems and cancer, morbid overweight, lung problems BEFORE Covid was the final nail in the coffin.
Most Covid deaths would have lived a few months to a few years more without Covid.
Even on over 70 year old people Covid survival rate is 94.6% and 50-70 years old it is 99.5% and under 50 years old 99.99%.

The number of deaths could have been cut by OVER HALF if HCQ was given immediately on hospital admission to all patients who had such a bad case of Covid they needed to be hospitalized and this was shown by Henry Ford Hospitals study in early July but Democrats/Media claimed for months in the spring and summer that HCQ kills people and is dangerous and several Democrat governors BANNED prescribing HCQ in their states by prohibiting it for off-label prescription despite several countries widely using HCQ through early prescription after a Covid test and having about 90% lower death rates.

Democrat governors in New York, New Jersey, Michigan and Illinois etc. also ORDERED nursing homes to take Covid patients so Democrats FORCED through a policy that led to whole nursing homes getting Covid and tens and tens of thousands extra deaths.

Mish,

Most polls are OVERSAMPLING Democrats massively.

According to exit polls in 2016 over 33% of voters were registered Republicans and most polls have had just 24-25% Republicans so the Joe Biden 8-9% lead in the polls on average does NOT EXIST and instead this race is 50/50 and whoever motivates their base more will win.

In addition to the oversampling issue Democrats stopped all ground operations because of Covid for months while Republicans were contacting voters personally all the time by the tens millions and only in the last few weeks have Democrats started a late attempt to have some ground game.

Media coverage supporting Biden 95%+ and Twitter and Facebook shadowbanning and closing millions of Trump supporting accounts is a travesty and if Joe Biden wins they will be to blame.

Trump is NOT a perfect person or a perfect politician but he cares about American people even if that is only because he wants people to like him.

Joe Biden is corrupt from the time he wrote the laws that created prison-industrial-complex and created for-profit-prisons and filled them with mass incarceration and the way Joe Biden has been bought by banks and credit card industry to write and sponsor favorable legislation after which Hunter Biden got cushy job at MBNA, the biggest credit card issuer in USA, is a disgrace and in most other civilized countries just the Biden/MBNA connection would have resulted in Joe Biden being BARRED from politics for life.

The claim about registrations was examined by the Cook Political Report and found to be less than sensational, the new GOP registrations are mostly people that voted for Trump in 2016 and who have simply changed from independent to republican. They are not a net gain in votes. As to mail in ballots 26 million votes have already been cast and tomorrow is the first day of early voting in Florida, I will be voting for Biden tomorrow here. How do you know what way the votes have gone so far? Very few jurisdictions count those votes prior to election day and none are supopsed to be reporting them. There was a huge drive early on for people to vote by mail for fear of Covid. But it immediately became clear that Trump was concentrating his efforts to steal the election on those mailed in mostly dem votes, so dems stopped voting by mail, and now will be going to polls when they open. I know I am.

Why would what appears to be a disinformation attempt that the NY Post fell for tighten the race. Giuliani being at the center of it speaks loads. He should have retired and gone fishing when he was done being mayor. The fact the Post was so lazy not to try to follow up to judge the legitimacy of the story is weird.

“Officials’ warnings about Giuliani underscore the concern in the U.S. intelligence community that Russia not only is seeking to reprise the disinformation campaign it waged in 2016, but also may now be aided, unwittingly or otherwise, by individuals close to the president. Those warnings have gained fresh urgency in recent days. The information that Giuliani sought in Ukraine is similar to what is contained in emails and other correspondence published this week by the New York Post, which the paper said came from the laptop of Hunter Biden and were provided by Giuliani and Stephen K. Bannon, Trump’s former top political adviser at the White House.”

The guy who gave the hard drive to FBI luckily copied the hard drive or the total corruption committed by Biden’s would not have been revealed.

The way FBI has handled the hard drive reveals FBI to be totally corrupt too.

Chris Wray is a FAILURE as a FBI leader and he needs to get FIRED and the way Obama spent 8 years corrupting FBI needs to reversed by either looking at each agents and directors decisions in a comprehensive outside audit and firing all Democrat partisans or FBI needs to be dismantled and a new agency created to replace it.

There have been articles on CBS, NBC and a couple other sites, but they are uniformly reporting what the NY Post reported and then saying that the whole story looks dubious and can’t be confirmed. They also have taken up the narrative that this might be all sourced from a Russian disinformation campaign. I don’t see how this will help ‘tighten things up’ if the only people that will read it will either be on a site that holds all the Trump voters in the first place or else be on a site that says it’s bunk.

The Steele Dossier Hillary Clinton ordered from Steele and that was full of BS claims made by Steele’s sub-source a suspected Russian agent living in USA long-term and working for a Democrat thinktank was Russian cointel.

CIA’s Brennan got mad at CIA analysts who thought Russia was trying to help Hillary Clinton and removed them and only put loyal Obama/Brennan lackeys into the CIA team who wrote together with FBI Obama/Comey lackeys the 17 intelligence agencies assessment that Hillary Clinton mentioned in the debates and the NSA found NO corroboration for the CIA/FBI claims and therefore did not give much confidence to the claims and all the other intelligence agencies were just asked to endorse the CIA/FBI product to make it seem more weighty and so that Clinton could hit Trump with it.

The claim/idea to blame Trump for Russian collusion originated in the Hillary Clinton campaign to distract from the FBI investigation of her illegal email server to hide the corruption from FOIA’s and her deletion of 33k emails before picking which emails Clinton wanted to show Comey/FBI and Comey/FBI giving IMMUNITY to everybody connected to Clinton before interviewing them.

Brennan became aware of the Clinton plan and briefed Obama about it according to recently declassified documents and after that decision by Hillary Clinton that she wanted to attack Trump with Russia claims to distract from her emails Clinton and DNC ordered the Steele dossier from Steele (to give it some credibility) and it was filled with bogus claims made by a Russian working for a Democrat thinktank and later FBI used the Dossier to LIE to FISA court repeatedly to get Trump campaign under total surveillance through Carter Page and NSA’s two-hop rule (everybody contacting Carter Page and everybody contacting somebody who contacted Carter Page under NSA surveillance) and the FISA court renewals were asked by FBI even while Trump was president and when the Russian sub-source had admitted to FBI the claims he made to Steele were bogus and BS.

FBI/CIA selectively leaked the Steele Dossier to media to create open source corroboration for the FBI to get the FISA court OK for the Trump campaign surveillance through NSA and CIA had agents contacting many Trump campaign advisors outside of USA to try to entrap them.

It is obvious in my opinion that Russia wanted Hillary Clinton to win because she had already been BOUGHT by Russia to accept the Uranium One deal where Russian government controlled company bought 20% of US uranium and Clinton gave the deal OK while at State Department and after the deal had completed the sellers donated hundreds of millions to Clinton Foundation which were in effect Russian BRIBES just laundered through the sellers by Russia overpaying for Uranium One and then the sellers donating the over-payment to Clinton Foundation.

This time Russia is favoring Joe Biden because Joe Biden was already BOUGHT by Russia while he was VP when Moscow Mayor’s wife (part of Putin’s elite) wired 3.5 million dollars to Hunter Biden and Joe Biden is even more in control of Russian partner China through the 1500 million dollars Bank of China gave to Hunter Biden to manage and get tens of millions in fees after Hunter Biden flew to China on Airforce 2 on official visit together with Joe Biden when he was VP.

Obama and Biden REFUSED to sell Ukraine arms and missiles just like Russia WANTED to keep Ukraine weak.
Trump REVERSED the Obama/Biden policy and has sold Ukraine arms and missiles to defend itself against Russia.

Electing a President is not a popularity contest. The ONLY thing that matters are policies. Trump may be an obnoxious ass, but he is right on what is best for America, where the Democrats want to lead us straight into a socialist hell. Socialism is killing America as you can see in the economy which is being manipulated via socialism, and the violence in our cities as socialists attempt to change history and implement communist doctrine. The Democrats are no longer even pretending to believe in the principals America was founded on and instead want to implement feudal socialism and completely undermine the Constitution.

Mish, there is quite bit of loaded words people use, whether they know what it means or not, and nothing come close to social democrat, or democratic socialism. The US was never and will never be a true capitalist country. It is socialist when it comes to save “too big to fail” at tax payers expense. When someone talks about social justice, not just in judicial sense, but in economic sense, you are slapped with “dirty socialist” label. In come inequality in the US going to very dangerous territories based on my observations. It is not unusual to run into someone with multiple jobs to survive, mostly rent.

FactsonJoe

And the low wages so people need multiple jobs to survive were CAUSED by Democrats and Republicans (Before Trump) supporting and allowing massive ILLEGAL immigration that lowered/stagnated wages for tens of years when 29.5 million ILLEGAL immigrants (MIT-Yale study in 2018 on current number of ILLEGAL immigrants in USA) arrived into USA willing to work for low wages.

The high cost of rent is also CAUSED by ILLEGAL immigration since without those 29.5 million ILLEGAL immigrants rents would be much lower.

Joe Biden and Democrats want MUCH MORE illegal immigrants and Joe Biden has also promised amnesty and US citizenship to all current ILLEGAL immigrants and that amnesty will attract tens of millions new ILLEGAL immigrants lured by the amnesty and Democrats promise to abolish or cripple ICE and immigration enforcement.

Anybody who is poor in USA and does not vote for Trump will get much more pain inflicted on them by Joe Biden and Democrats.

Name one thing!”(mind you, she was well lubricated on some high brow cabernet)

I said very slowly: “Social….security”…using Dr. Evil air quotes. To my shock, it brought instant silence to the table and after 5 seconds her husband said “Well, ok.” and I immediately changed the subject for the benefit of all….lol

Trump supporters have never been willing to listen to much besides fawning adoration for their guy. They aren’t people who get the subtleties….they can’t tell analysis from campaigning. Real analysis is mostly lost on them. You’ve done a good job of making yourself clear.

I only try to pick the lesser evil. After I voted for Ron Paul in 2012….I could never even find a news source who knew how many people wrote in his name. Since then I just can’t get behind a candidate who is sure to be an also-ran.

I’m no fan of Joe Biden..but Trump has always scared me. I couldn’t vote for anybody who thumbs his nose at the rule of law and 250 years of tradition….and tries to subvert the institutions that made this country a good country. The choice is just so clear.

I pay a lot of taxes…and they will no doubt go up under Biden..but I’m not going to vote for a bad guy just to save 10K….or 50K a year. I have principles that outweigh personal financial gain.

I still think Americans….too many of them…..are just star-struck by celebrities……they’ll probably elect Kanye next.

USA will become a one party state if Joe Biden wins because the amnesty and US citizenship Biden has promised to all current ILLEGAL immigrants which number 29.5 million according to MIT-Yale study will create 29.5 million new Democrat voters leading to Democrat control of House, Senate and Presidency for the next 100 years no matter how leftist/socialist Democrats become.

Democrats have also promised to pack the Supreme Court by installing more judges to make it a leftist majority Supreme Court.
Democrats have no problem shredding US Supreme Court and violating norms and rules that have worked for hundreds of years if it gives Democrats more power.

Legal immigrants are a bigger threat to American jobs than illegals, imho. H1B Visas and Student Visas affect the top of the food chain and illegals only affect the bottom.

I am not for open borders…but I do feel for kids who have lived here their entire lives and who are now being deported to a country where some of them can’t even speak the language. I see the whole picture…..I’ve been taking care of these kids for a long time. I know many of them personally.

You might as well lobby for sending black people back to Africa…as to send Dreamer kids to Mexico….it’s essentially the same thing.

I’m happy to limit illegal immigration…..but it probably can’t be stopped. The average age in El Salvador is 26 and in Guatemala it’s 22. The economic and political and cultural forces pushing people to walk a thousand miles just in hope of finding a job that might feed their kids….is going to be hard to stop no matter what we do.

Immigrants always boost the economy more than they hurt is. They are invariably 20-30 years old, entering their prime productive years. Initially they save a lot, and send some to their parents back home, but after 20 years or so, they become solid consumers, too.

Meanwhile, the countries from which they come end up mired in poverty. They have the children (who will someday leave, too) and the old people who didn’t leave, and the productive ages from 20-40 are a demographic hole.

Unfortunately climate change and the end of endless cheap energy pretty much guarantees a growing tidal wave of immigration that will more than negate the positive affects….your POV was correct in previous generations, but it won’t be true in the next generation. I don’t think unlimited immigration is a net positive in the year 2020….and it will far less positive in 2050.

For what it’s worth, I don’t favor unlimited immigration, and criminals should certainly be deported, but I continue to believe immigration is a net positive. Look at the economy in the US, and look at the economy in the countries who have people leaving. The fact is that the ones where people are constantly leaving are always mired in poverty, and they reason is because they have the burden of the old, and young, and a gap of productive people. The harm to them is easier to see than the benefit to us, but if they are harmed, we have to be helped.

Ive got two words: Senior Citizens. Tell them you want to end the payroll tax that is the prime source of funds for Social Security. Tell them the virus “only” kills old people. Criticize another Senior Citizen candidate for being senile and having dementia. Ya, that should work.

Very good points, CaliforniaStan. Trump has been working hard at losing the Senior Citizen vote all year long. It’s not just women he has lost. More importantly, Trump has lost both to the Republican Party for years to come. Even FactsonJoe admits that after Trump, the Republicans will not win another election for years to come, perhaps 20 or more.

If Joe Biden wins and gives the amnesty and US citizenship to current ILLEGAL immigrants (29.5 million according to MIT-Yale study) and Democrats get 29.5 million new voters USA will be Democrat controlled One party state for the next 100 years and Democrats will have no problem going full-leftist and full-socialist and still getting elected.

Add to that the Democrats plans to pack the Supreme Court by increasing the number of judges for it to have leftist majority and USA will be Venezuela/Cuba level in next 15-20 years.

If the illegal immigrants all become Democrats, whose fault is that? The only reason is because the Republicans have become the party of hate and bigotry, and the one that offers no future. Don’t blame the Democrats for what the Republicans have deliberately done to themselves. The Republican Party is dead, and will never control a house of Congress for at least 12-20 years, and they have done it to themselves. They should disband, and we should bring back the Whigs.

There are many reasons why the Republicans should have had a strong appeal to immigrants, but they chose not to. Every time you post your hateful and wrong stereotype, you help assure that the Democrats stay in power a long time. When the Republicans are out of power a long time, and you wonder why, look in the mirror. You, and those like you, are the reason.

The fact is that that immigrants come to the US looking for a better place. They come here to work, and they find jobs because they work hard and do good work and appreciate their opportunities. I have many Hispanic customer. Are some of them illegals? Perhaps, but if so, I wouldn’t know, because they all act like Americans. Republicans should, from their platform, appeal to those that want to work hard, and to get ahead. They should appeal to pro-life people. They should appeal to those that support capitalism. Thus, immigrants should consistently be attracted to Republican politics, but the Republicans, though hate, tell them that they are unworthy and unwelcome, then Republicans wonder how they went from a majority party to a minority party.

You reap what you sow.

Excellent article. I live on the western edge of downtown Mpls and can generally agree with this article and I think it proves that women really are smarter and more thoughtful than most of us men. The whole danger and crime thing, as is usually the case, is overdone – you still have to be a numbnuts to have any problem in a big city. However, it is also true that we have the biggest group of goofs for a city council in at least the last 25 years which hope we can remedy in next year’s election.

Much of the suburbs are no longer white as snow. I don’t think Trump really understands that fact. He has said when imploring suburban women to like him that he is ‘not going to build low-income housing in your area.’ Hmmmm, sounds like a dogwhistle, and many of those white suburban moms have POC neighbors. They’ve already learned to tolerate if not genuinely like each other.

As Atlanta, Houston, Austin, Phoenix, Charlotte, and other rapidly growing cities continue sucking in lots of blue voters, those states continue to trend purple if not blue like VA before them.

Keep talking, Donnie.

Why are you reading race and racism into the suburban issue? It’s an issue of mixing high density poverty housing (and thus crime since crime and poverty are highly correlated) into the suburbs.
