Boris Johnson Gets Into Huge Argument With Partner Carrie Symonds, Police Called

Boris Johnson made a major gaffe by getting into such a heated argument with his partner, Carrie Symonds, that neighbors heard the shouting and were concerned enough to call the police.

The Guardian reports Boris Johnson Under Fire Over Row with Partner as Top Tories Raise Fears.

Police confirmed they were called to the couple’s south London flat after an argument was heard by neighbours. They said they heard slamming and banging, adding that at one point Symonds could be heard telling Johnson to “get off me” and “get out of my flat”.

A poll conducted yesterday showed support for Johnson had fallen sharply following the incident. His eight-point lead for the Tory crown earlier in the week had fallen to three points behind rival Jeremy Hunt by yesterday morning. Among Tory voters, when asked who would make the best prime minister, Johnson’s lead had slumped from 27% to 11% in the same period, according to Survation, who carried out the polls for the Mail on Sunday.

Last night the neighbour who contacted the police, Tom Penn, 30, a playwright, issued a statement saying he wanted to put the record straight on his reasons for recording the row and calling 999.

Penn said: “In the early hours of Friday morning, I answered a phone call from a take-away food delivery driver. At the same time, I heard what sounded like shouting coming from the street. I went downstairs, on the phone to the driver, and collected my food. On the way back into my flat, it became clear that the shouting was coming from a neighbour’s flat. It was loud enough and angry enough that I felt frightened and concerned for the welfare of those involved, so I went inside my own home, closed the door, and pressed record on the voice memos app on my phone.

“After a loud scream and banging, followed by silence, I ran upstairs, and with my wife agreed we should check on our neighbours. I knocked three times at their front door, but there was no response. I went back upstairs into my flat, and we agreed that we should call the police.”

Another neighbour, a nursery teacher who lives with her husband and four-year-old son in the top flat next door, told the Times that she could hear “shouting and screaming”.

Fatimah, 32, said: “It was really loud, loud enough to make me turn down the TV and see what was going on. I could hear shouting and screaming from a lady, she sounded really angry. There was a man’s voice too, but he was much calmer and he was telling her to calm down but she was still chucking things about,” she said. “It went on for about 10 minutes. I’ve never heard anything like it. I was considering calling the police but then a [police] van and car came.”

Will This Blow Over?

Postal balloting begins July 6. The final deadline is Sunday, 21 July. A vote tally is on July 22.

Boris Johnson was a near-certain shoo-in barring a major accident. This was a major accident.

Major enough?

I suspect this incident will blow over quickly, but there is a chance it won’t. The police did not charge anyone and left without further incident.

A couple’s spat is easily explainable; saying nothing about it to the media after it was so brazenly planted there can be costly. The longer BoJo stays stumm, the worse it looks for him.

I am sure I read a question somewhere, why would concerned neighbours phone the police, and then be sure to contact the Guardian so they could get the story?

It wouldn’t surprise me if this lady was a plant of some sort, put in there to create this sort of incident. The Guardian is 100% behind every woman in any domestic dispute no matter if they cause the problem or not. I think most of us can see a made up drama to try and stop Boris.

I agree, people don’t normally call the police every time they hear the neighbors having a loud argument. Seems very suspicious. Much more plausible (to me) is that fellow Brexit opponents living in the area pointed out to his Remainer neighbors that if they do their part and embarrass Boris when they see or hear something unusual that it might harm his chances of becoming PM and following through on Brexit. Mission accomplished.

A loud argument with his partner, she being the loud one. No allegations of physical abuse. The real question – did he grab her $*##@?

I suspect this will blow over in a couple of days, since nobody is alleging (physical) abuse, and pulling gaffes is not exactly new for Boris’ image. It just confirms what we know of Boris already.

Gold digger took her best shot for marriage or a cash out. This girl is Meghan Markle material. The difference is Boris has 50 IQ points over the Queen et.al. Boris is in like Flynn. Laugh.

The older I get, the less I understand how any guy would want to date/live with a woman 24 years his junior. Mutual respect is important and what could she possibly see in him besides money and career advancement? Guys are kidding themselves if they believe they aren’t being used. Modern courts and media ensure that a mop-haired oaf like BoJo will pay dearly for whatever fantasy he’s trying to live.

As for the UK, I’m not sure this matters since they’ve become thoroughly corrupted like we have in the US. In other words, meaningful change is very unlikely to come from the ballot box. Isn’t the 3 year anniversary of the Brexit vote today? Thirty six months of foot dragging have ensued. We Yanks can’t laugh at them, since we voted for an “anti-war” President later the same year yet find ourselves checking news daily to see when carnage begins in Tehran, Caracas, and who knows where else.

I guess you’re too old to get it. Take a look. Compare to 58 year olds.

I guess being in my early/mid 40s is too old to get it. Young hotties are for young guys. I’ve lived that life and all the drama it entails. Over the years I had two women other guys drooled over, including my ex wife, although we divorced due to her general insanity rather than any infidelity.

At some point a reasonable guy should seek sustainability rather fodder for the Penthouse forum. Besides, “normal” women can be really hot when they’re supportive and fun to talk to. Women tend to seek drama for the sake of it, but men really should know better.

Webej: There are plenty of hot 40 somethings, when you are old enough to be their father there are gonna be issues. I know tight pussy is attractive, but…..women that want to date their fathers absolutely have serious issues. Leave that game to guys not in public view with a lot to lose.

I agree that older women can be sexy, but way too many of them (and men) let themselves go. Aging is one thing, but weight, ton
e, keeping a modern hairstyle and fashion sense, staying informed, moving on with music tastes… being active…I just don’t meet many 40-50 year old women putting in that effort. I’m sure they are there and the men they are with appreciate their qualities.

Mish = 100% Fake News.

Mish is So Fake News, So 100% Anti Really, he has to descend into ignoring that Venezuela is suffering from American it’s illegal Declaration of War on Venezuela by saying Venezuela is suffering from The Gold Standard of healthcare.

You know what? Something very similar just happened in Estonia where a right-leaning candidate for a position in a ministry was accused of beating his wife and resigned 2 days after accepting the job. This was after the left-leaning media created a humongous drama about the “beating”. Now, a few months later, the police has not charged anyone, his wife says that she was never beaten, asks the media to leave them alone. So should we believe this or should we suspect an inside job by the remainers?

Mish,

On reading about this incident I recollected your earlier statement (Johnson will win in a landslide unless he makes some amazing gaffe –

I wonder whether this makes it one.

I suspect it won’t blow over quickly, indeed part of me smells a set up here.

I don’t think people are giving the Remain faction nearly enough credit for ruthlessness- they will do whatever is necessary to win.

Just to add, another right leaning paper seems to be running an item on Carrie by her ex-boyfriend – https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7170825/Carrie-Symonds-former-flame-reveals-life-Boris-girlfriend-never-boring.html

Just imagine the next EU Leaders meeting – Macron there with his mother and BoJo there with his daughter!
