Iran Confirms Deal! Trump Says Congratulations to All, Strait Open

The Yea-Sayers were right. Official signing June 19 in Switzerland.

Trump Announces Deal

Truth Social: The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to all! I hereby fully authorize the toll free opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and, simultaneously herewith, authorize the immediate removal of the United States Naval blockade. Ships of the World, start your engines. Let the oil flow! President DONALD J. TRUMP
Jun 14, 2026, 3:29 PM

That’s not the important statement. Iran’s confirmation is.

Deal Confirmed

Translation With Subtitles

IRAN CONFIRM DEAL AGREED Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi has said that all of Iran’s positions and important issues have been included in the draft memorandum. “Naturally, after the official signing, we will definitely publish the text.”

Persian subtitle in the video (translated to English):

“The humiliation and disgrace of America and the Zionist regime; Iran, by imposing its own will, forced America to accept the end of the war on all fronts.”

Subtitles by Grok with this comment: “This is the Iranian media’s framing of the news — a strong pro-Iran spin portraying the deal as a victory for Iran.

Positive/Pro-Iran Replies

  • @timbers12: “Iran won!” (In English))
  • @manirakizasudi: “That sounds like a great deal and I hope that Iran takes it with pride because there’s no country in the world that ever done what Iran did to two nuclear powers and comes out on top. Congratulations to the Iranian people ” (In English)
  • @bilalfarid78601: “NUCLEAR IRAN IS THE ONLY SOLUTION, PERIOD !” (In English)
  • @Solwiz313: “Alhumdulilla” → “Alhamdulillah” (Praise be to God)
  • @sarmahller: “Alhamdulilah…may the peace reign forever” (Praise be to God…)

Overall sentiment in replies: Mixed. Supporters see it as an Iranian win against superpowers; critics view it as capitulation, betrayal of allies (esp. Lebanon/Hezbollah), or a loss for the “Axis of Resistance.” Many express skepticism about enforcement and Israel’s compliance.

Prime Minister of Pakistan

Following intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED. Both sides have declared the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon.

The official signing ceremony will be on Friday, 19 June in Switzerland.

We would like to thank the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our brothers in this mediation effort, the great leadership of State of Qatar, for their support in reaching this agreement. I would also especially thank the visionary leadership of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Republic of Türkiye for their immense contributions in this regard.

With the agreement now in place, mediators will facilitate a series of meetings this week. These pre-implementation discussions will lay the foundation for the technical talks and the official signing ceremony.

US Concession

Iran State Media

Translation and Comments by Grok

“Pakistan’s Prime Minister announced the achievement of an agreement: End of the US war against Iran.”The anchor is reporting on the announcement by Pakistan’s Prime Minister (Shehbaz Sharif) regarding a deal/framework between the US and Iran to end the conflict/war. Iranian state TV is framing/covering the news of the US-Iran agreement (mediated by Pakistan, sometimes referred to as the Islamabad memorandum).

This matches broader recent reports: Pakistan has been mediating, and both the Pakistani PM and US officials (e.g., references to Trump) have announced progress toward or reaching a deal to end hostilities, with details on ceasefires (including Lebanon), sanctions relief, no Iranian nukes, etc., to be finalized soon.

Market Reaction to Iran Peace Deal

Iran Won

Trump’s announcement confirms. The strait is open.

Iran will immediately accumulate oil revenue.

Trump had no choice. Iran won.

The rest of the details are unconfirmed but it’s difficult to spin this as anything other than a victory for Iran with what we do know.

The yea-sayers who also called for Trump capitulation were correct. I was in that group for months.

Israel tried to wreck this and failed.

Trump earlier today: “The Strait of Hormuz will immediately be opened and let the flow of oil begin”.

Trump now: ” The strait of Hormuz will reopen after signing of deal.”

“Israel tried to wreck this and failed.”

There are 4+ days until the official signing. Does anyone think all of those days will be uneventful?

No reason to celebrate now, but algos will definitely trade the headlines.

It’s interesting that both parties say there is a deal but neither will articulate the terms. There’s more to this than we know – and given the history of both players…. It could be anything. But hopefully using an MOU approach gets the real discussion going, but I am skeptical they either side can keep the crazy under control

Trump is using the Nancy Pelosi method with diplomacy : “we have to pass it to find out what’s in it….”

The deal will be signed on the 19th? Well, there are 4-5 days to go before that. What guarantee is there that it will not be sabotaged?

To me, this looks like something that was cooked up just to have the stock markets open in the green and oil markets to open in the red on Monday morning.

We have all seen this game before. I will not believe anything until ship tracker confirms for 60 transits a day or the people of Iran overthrow the IRGC. Transit is about insurance not ability to navigate the strait.

Good news! However I think the long term agreement will prove elusive and it will be more of a US walk away in the end. So far in our mainstream media there still seems to be a lot of delusion as to where we are. Iran has escalation dominance period. A major war in the Middle East destroying the hydrocarbon infrastructure would absolutely crush the western driven world financial system.

Not good news for cuba. They are smaller/ closer and trump will want a big win so we forget this war and the Epstein files.

We don’t even know if Trump can keep Bibi in check on Lebanon.
The Iran chapter has not been closed yet.

If i walked around Iran, i think i would have a hard time believing we won. Does any thinking person think it is as easy as that? What about the regular folks on the street wanting a better life? What will post war Iran routine look like ? I don’t think we know.

The IRGC won. Big time.
The average Iranian got even more screwed than before and they can partially thank Trump for that.

You called it Mish, 3-star Mishelin award granted. Truly sad we have to hear it from Iran to get a confirmation because no one can trust the clown.

All we need to do now is wait for JoJo to tell us how this was a victory for Trump and Israel.

There already appears to be a big problem. Sources are reporting that IRGC only agreed not to retaliate at the last minute due to a concession from Trump that Israel would leave Lebanon. Except Netanyahu is now saying that they will not leave Lebanon.

If Trump cannot resist pressure and reverses his promise, or if he cannot get Netanyahu effectively in-line, the MOU signing won’t happen Friday and IRGC will probably go forward with missile strikes.

Well the real problem is that Trump can’t be trusted to honor any agreement, there is a long recorded history of his endless betrayals so the real question was always going to be, “how long will it take for Trump to renege on any deal with Iran?”

Well, it was nice being the military power while it lasted I guess. Is this what it felt like for Germans after WWI? We got whipped. I dunno what self-respecting nationalist is supporting this admin still, we’re a fucking joke now.

You have been a fucking joke for a while. In Ukraine your defeat was masked by your using a proxy and because you were fighting Russia together with a whole lot of vassals. In Iran too you have fought with the help of Israel and your local vassals BUT you have fought directly and openly so there was no hiding it this time.

I called it on the very first day and wrote here that this latest Judeo-American war was going to be the USA’s FAFO moment.

TACO or this administration in general has very little to do with this humiliating defeat other than the moronic decision to start this war just like the autopen’s administration with the NATO – Russia war in Ukraine. The fact of the matter is that your military is, just like the rest of the society and the country, in precipitous decline and not only is the US going to be the weaker of the three world superpowers, you are the ONLY declining one while the other two are resurging and rising quickly.

That said, I don’t think that this is the end of the Epstein Fury operation.

You bet your life that the “devil” is in the details. While I have no respect for taco, I hope an agreement is reached with no more loss of life and the Strait of Hormuz is open without further bombing/interruption.

“Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi has said that all of Iran’s positions and important issues have been included in the draft memorandum.”

If that is true and that’s a big “if”, then maybe the agreement is not all that agreed to. Call me skeptical until this news has had some time to pass scrutiny.
