Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg Is a Coward Opportunist Who Deserves No Credit

Zuckerberg now admits Biden pressured Facebook to suppress posts on Covid. Some give him credit for honesty. Not me.

Zuckerberg Responds to Criticism

JUST IN: Mark Zuckerberg responds to people criticizing him as only changing his tune on free expression online after the 2024 election.

He says it’s based on a “cultural pulse.”

“I try not to change our content rules right in the middle of an election. There’s not really a good time to do this.”

“This is something I’ve been thinking about for a while. I think this is gonna be pretty durable.”

Points for Honesty

In a Post on X, Eric Daugherty says “I have to give Zuckerberg points for honesty.”

That post also contains a self-serving video clip by Zuckerberg.

Let’s be honest: What bullsh*t. This is why.

Censoring Memes

Here is an interesting Video Clip of Zuckeberg with Joe Rogan about the Biden Administration.

“These people from the Biden Administration would call up our team and scream at them, curse.”

Rogan asks “Did you record any of those phone calls?”

Zuckerberg explains “No … There are emails. The emails are published. It’s all kind of out there.” …. “All these different agencies and branches of government started investigating, coming after our company. It was brutal.”

They Pushed Us to Take Down Things that Were True

Here’s a Second Video Clip on censorship.

“At the beginning it kind of seemed like OK. We should give a little deference to the government and health authorities on how we should play this. But when it went from two weeks to flatten the curve, to masks are not important, to you have to wear a mask, and everything was shifting around, it became different to follow.”

“I’m generally pretty pro rolling out vaccines. But I think that while they are trying to push that program, they also tried to censor anyone who was arguing against it. And they pushed us super hard to take down things that were honestly true.”

“They pushed us and said that anything that says vaccines might have side effects, you basically need to take down.”

Had Zuckerberg admitted this in 2022 or 2023, OK. I would give him some credit for speaking out.

He did not even do this in 2024. Instead, he waited until after Trump won.

For this we are supposed to praise Zuckerberg for honesty?

Please be serious.

“I try not to change our content rules right in the middle of an election. There’s not really a good time to do this.”

Sorry, but there is never a good time to hide illegal government coercion. This is all after the fact self-serving BS now that Trump has won.

And it’s possible this delay cost Republicans some House and Senate races.

Zuckerberg deserves negative points for honesty because he is a proven coward.

Zuckerberg’s timing is suspect. He was just sued by RFK, Jr’s organization. Trump’s win gives the all-clear signal that the Democrat deep state won’t come after him for revealing anything. Anybody remember what lies deep in the soul of this creep? See: https://www.theregister.com/2010/05/14/facebook_trust_dumb/

I regard him and anyone else who partakes in this brand of censorship with extreme prejudice. The origin of covid, number of deaths, masks, distancing and vaccines were all built on a foundation of lies. Thousands should be in a Federal prison including him.

I’m still banned by Zuckerberg from Facebook – I posted the truth about the fake vaccine (that wasn’t a vaccine) …… and he stripped me from any free expression of ideas. No access to Facebook , or Facebook marketplace. Hey Zuck – how about lifting my ban ?

People should be able to make their own decisions w/o any concern as to how their decision(s) affect anyone else in the world.

This includes taking the Covid shots or not. I did not take these shots and will never do so.

If that causes you a problem, then you should stay locked in your house where you won’t have to worry about what others do.

I agree with Mish on this one. Zuck comes off as sucking up(was about to type something I shouldn’t on Mish’s blog) to Trump now that Trump is going to be POTUS again, not a first amendment champion.

That being said I am still extremely pissed off about the handling of the pandemic. First, losing my dad, an uncle and a cousin to covid.
Second, being gaslit about the origins of covid when the probability it came out of the Wuhan lab was 99% plus.
Third, being lied to about the importance of vaccines when in fact its bad science to use vaccines on a rapidly mutating virus like the common cold virus, another member of the coronavirus family. Remember back in grade school when we were taught why we don’t have a vaccine for the common cold? Money should have been spent on antivirals.
Fourth, the data is pretty marginal on the efficacy of the experimental covid gene therapies “vaccines” and we are experiencing a wave of excess deaths since the onset of the covid “vaccination” program. It remains to be seen if we’ll have a long term issues with these. Funding and attention needs to be given to this issue.(RFK jr)
Fifth, the censorship regime that sprang up during the pandemic that censored us for discussing the above.
Sixth, being gaslit about how great the US response was to Covid when we spent the most per capita and were 3rd from dead last in results worldwide. Great for big pharma and federal politician’s campaign accounts tho.
Seventh, nobody being held accountable for the screwup of this thing leaking from a lab. The folks that caused this should be prosecuted and jailed. The people in the US government that went around the Obama administration’s ban of gain of function research ban and did this work in China need to go to jail.
Eighth, developing safety protocols for viral gain of function work and doing a stronger job of regulating these endeavors. In fact really questioning why this is needed. It seems suspiciously like bioweapons development under the guise of medical research for developing vaccines.
Ninth, we need to do a bi-partisan review of how the pandemic was handled and come up with a better plan for handling the next one.
Tenth, all of the politicians that strongly supported this gaslighting, censorship, and obfuscation program need to called out and publicly reprimanded.

Those who are aware of the Lifelog/Facebook connection understand Zuck isn’t deserving of credit for anything.

As you adroitly observed, years of deceit aren’t erased by a small, belated confession and the timing is laughable.

The MSM and government pushed for the COVID vaccine with flat out propaganda that to me was easily recognizable at the time.

If anyone is interested in a sample thread from that time period: https://mishtalk.com/economics/vaccination-status-vs-hospitalization-rates-how-can-anyone-deny-this-data/

I wonder how many people here who got vaccinated have changed their mind about the COVID vaccine and how it was pushed?

Jeff

Mish, it’s not a “make or break” issue. I know people who got pretty serious cases of COVID even if they had vaccines, but is what Zuckerberg said really all that serious? The vaccines don’t seem to be all that effective and Zuckerberg did knuckle under because of pressure, but so what. It’s a decent platform that’s free and you can have video conversations with anyone in the world, you can watch interesting short videos on reels which is like TikTok, you can buy things on Marketplace, you can keep a diary on your page or comment on current events….I like Facebook and mostly I don’t complain about it. But you have this blog and you’ve become a curmudgeon. Do you feel better after you vent? Despite your venting, Zuckerberg is still a billionaire and I think he’s only going to get even richer. Life is not perfect, Mish. Live and let live.

So, you think we should just look the other way on the safe and effective vaccine when voices pointing out the vaccine was not safe nor effective were muzzled? How do you account for the fact that vaxed people got covid? or got vaccine injured. If they were safe, why was an ambulance stationed at the vax site? I guess you can explain how long-term safety was established under “Operation Warp Speed”. Yet, all those subjects and many more that did not support the “narrative” were muzzled while people were getting sick and many dying. Guess I can’t look the other way, and I think there is a good possibility Zuck is trying to diffuse accountability.

How about the bias toward democrats in the elections from president through school board? Guess election interference is so unimportant that we should look the other way? Or how about the Jan 6 bogus congressional hearings and the censorship of any posting that pointed out the blatant coverup of exculpatory testimony and then the destruction of the records. No sir, I will stand with Mish and not your phony self-righteousness.

Jeff, calling out the bs is a societal responsibility. There are plenty of places that go out of their way to reinforce idiotic, incorrect, antiscience beliefs. NBC, CNN, Fauci, Walensky, FDA, CDC, and on and on. If hearing dissenting opinions that wound up being correct bothers you, why are you here? Just go back to FB or the CDC website where they will be more than happy to assuage your ego and choices.

Over the past fifteen months, growth in U.S. gas production has stalled. Indeed, in the past seven months, production has begun to contract. Since peaking in December 2023, U.S. dry gas supply has fallen by 3 Bcf per day—a 3% decline. Year-over-year data tells a similar story, with dry gas production now down by 1.2 Bcf per day, slightly more than 1%.

Absolutely. Besides the Zuckbucks that everyone already knows about, he and his wife through the Chan Zuckerberg Foundation support and fund CRT and other Marxist indoctrination in schools.

The Department of Education web site, eric, has the proof. https://eric.ed.gov/?q=crse&id=ED615974

If you click on the direct link off to the right hand side, it takes you to educational publisher Taylor and Francis. You will then see the proof that the funding comes from the Chan Zuckerberg Foundation. Here’s that link, if you don’t choose to follow the Dept. of Ed. site. https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/00461520.2019.1623032

CRT is also called SEL or Transformative Social and Emotional Learning or CRSE, or Culturally Responsive and Sustaining Education. I’ve been providing this proof for over 5 years now. For this, the censorship, the Zuckbucks, I will never trust him. Ever.

The original video on YT is now removed, but Jimmy Carter promoted the use of Ivermectin for off-label use in 11 poor countries. Over 160 million doses and he was hailed as a hero by legacy media. Fortunately, proof of that video has been archived.

Supposedly patronage political systems were, to a fair extent, weeded out in the USA, a movement gaining momentum, into the 20th century. but it appears the incoming powers have completely forgotten (or perhaps never really learned) anything the 20th century has to teach, good or bad.

And there is more brouhaha brewing at Facebook under Zuckerberg from their LGBTQ workers.

‘It’s Total Chaos Internally at Meta Right Now’: Employees Protest Zuckerberg’s Anti LGBTQ Changes

Jason Koebler

Jan 9, 2025 at 3:58 PM

Meta’s decision to specifically allow users to call LGBTQ+ people “mentally ill” has sparked widespread backlash at the company.

Meta employees are furious with the company’s newly announced content moderation changes that will allow users to say that LGBTQ+ people have “mental illness,” according to internal conversations obtained by 404 Media and interviews with five current employees. The changes were part of a larger shift Mark Zuckerberg announced Monday to do far less content moderation on Meta platforms.

“I am LGBT and Mentally Ill,” one post by an employee on an internal Meta platform called Workplace reads. “Just to let you know that I’ll be taking time out to look after my mental health.”

On Monday, Mark Zuckerberg announced that the company would be getting “back to our roots around free expression” to allow “more speech and fewer mistakes.” The company said “we’re getting rid of a number of restrictions on topics like immigration, gender identity, and gender that are the subject of frequent political discourse and debate.” A review of Meta’s official content moderation policies show, specifically, that some of the only substantive changes to the policy were made to specifically allow for “allegations of mental illness or abnormality when based on gender or sexual orientation.”

There are homosexuals, a genetically determined aberration.
Then there are LGBT activists, youth drifters in search of some meaning in their miserable life. This is a mental disease that will be cured for most by some harsh reality down the road.
Many people confuse the two.

Homosexualism isn’t a “mental illness”. An illness can [theoretically] be cured or mitigated.

Instead, homosexuality is a mental abnormality caused by miswiring of the brain during its formation. The fact that homosexuality is not passed on genetically confirms that it is an abnormality. Homosexuality brings no evolutionary advantage.

We do not {yet] have the technology to detect what triggers this change during fetus gestation and therefore, until/if we ever do, there isn’t any way to correct this issue.

Conversely, this does not mean that homosexuals are bad people or should be ostracized from general society. However, homosexuality should not be celebrated.
