Migrants Rush Border in Tijuana, Teargas Deployed, Port of Entry Closed

Please consider, U.S. Agents Fire Tear Gas at Migrants Approaching the Border From Mexico

There was a serious escalation of the already high tensions at the southern border with Mexico Sunday as border patrol agents fired tear gas at a group of migrants. Children were among those affected by the gas. One witness said migrants opened “a small hole in concertina wire at a gap on the Mexican side of a levee,” which then led border agents to fire tear gas, reports the Associated Press. “We ran, but when you run the gas asphyxiates you more,” the witness said as she held her three-year-old daughter in her arms. Images on local television also showed migrants trying to jump over the fence at the border. Local news reports showed images of border authorities firing rubber bullets at the migrants.

Hundreds of Migrants Rush U.S. Border in Tijuana

The New York Times reports Hundreds of Migrants Rush U.S. Border in Tijuana.

A peaceful march by Central American migrants waiting at the southwestern United States border veered out of control on Sunday afternoon, as hundreds of people tried to evade a Mexican police blockade and run toward a giant border crossing into California.

In response, the United States Customs and Border Protection agency shut down the border crossing in both directions.

Border Closed

CNN reports US closes major San Diego port of entry as migrants rush border.

US Customs and Border Protection closed road and pedestrian bridges on Sunday at the San Ysidro port of entry, one of the largest land border crossings between San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico.

As crowds amassed at San Ysidro, around 500 migrants overwhelmed federal and local Mexican police blockades and rushed toward the border, said freelance reporter Alfredo Alvarez, who is in the crowd.

They appeared to get close to the border wall, Alvarez said. He could not see from his position if the migrants had managed to get across the actual border.

Trump Approves Lethal Force

Note that president Trump has approved “Lethal Force“.

“If they have to, they’re going to use lethal force. I’ve given the OK,” Trump said. “If they have to — I hope they don’t have to.”

“I have no choice,” Trump said, and, without providing evidence, added, “You’re dealing with a minimum of 500 serious criminals” and “rough people.”

This is highly likely to turn very violent as thousands of migrants stack up in Tijuana, all desperate to get through, with the border closed.

Expect lethal force.

How much of this migrant problem a result of the US?

“When I look above me I see half a dozen drones that are monitoring the area.”

The drone in the video is a DJI Mavic Pro. Not military, in fact the military doesn’t allow DJI drones because they send flight data back to China. So the reporter is either trying to be sensationalist or he’s an idiot. Probably both.

Please please dear leader Trump, don’t let these sub-human immigrants invade our country and mow our yards, wash our dishes, or pick our vegetables for mutually acceptable compensation.

So your point is we should not have any immigration rules? And just let the 7 billion people that don’t live in the US free reign to move in any time they want?

How you feel about migration can depend on who you are.

Migration Winners: people who have lawns, and can afford to pay others to mow them.
Migration Losers: American citizens or legal residents who are currently employed mowing lawns (or similar jobs), who will find the rates they can charge are now hammered down by all the new competition.

I.e. if you’re rich, you love migrants, but cloak your glee under a thin patina of libertarianism and “free markets.” After all, the price of your servants just dropped sharply. Yay! If you are poor or lower-middle-class – you probably feel differently, because you just got a pay cut.

You can voice your opinion straight to George Soros here, maybe send him some money to ship the migrants back to Honduras.

“The Open Society Foundations work to build vibrant and tolerant democracies whose governments are accountable to their citizens.”

OSF is getting and equal and opposite reaction, as governments are not being accountable to their citizens. Brexit in name only, is not accountability to their citizens, it is government knows what is best for you, so we override your vote. Governments have suppressed those who have spoken up about the migrant problem in Europe, causing a political swing in the population that now has Hillary Clinton worried.

The EU dictatorship in Brussels is not a vibrant democracy.

Shutting down the border certainly gets Mexico’s attention. Mexico can’t afford to lose free flow of trade. Keep the southern border closed for a few more days and you can be sure the caravans will disappear overnight. There is no need for lethal force.

I thought Obama and the DemoCrats said there was no caravan and it was a 1000 miles away. I am glad the POTUS had time to get the border somewhat prepared for their arrival (invasion). No more teddy bears, candy bars and diapers for you!!! This is an organized event and the organizers are for open borders and cheap cotton picking labor, oops, produce pickers. Let them in, give them all US taxpayer paid benefits, registered them to vote as democrats and we will see where this goes. I am sorry these individuals are being lied to and used as tools for the leftists.

Any physical wall is only a temporary measure. Like damming up a river. Sooner or later, the resulting lake gets too big, and it bursts.

Westerners have no kids, and Southerners have plenty. The later will fill into the vacuum left by the former.

It doesn’t help one iota, that the West have spent the past 50 years doubling down on policies that directly transfers virtually all purchasing power, hence ability to demand stuff, away from those who work to create wealth, and to idle unproductives: Home owners, asset owners, retirees, welfare recipients (of the traditional, non Fed kind), public sector paper pushers etc.

Those guys, simply cannot solve their own problems without help. If they could, they wouldn’t unproductive leeches to begin with. So they massively amplify demand for outsiders to come in and wipe their butts. As well as to produce stuff for them to consume. In both cases, largely from abroad, as local workers are leaned on and robbed so hard to sustain the leechonomy, that they simply cannot simultaneously feed themselves and remain competitive.

So again; and sorry to sound like a broken record but things really are that simple: There is no solution that does not involve front and center dismantling of the racket economy that is the only economy that has existed since the 70s. And yes, that will leave those who have already spent more than they have made (in income, not artificially pumped up “asset” appreciation), dead broke. And either bagging groceries or starving.

That is, after al, how a just world works: You cannot, over a lifetime, consume more than you produce, unless you steal the difference from someone else. And it’s “Thou shalt not steal” that is a commandment. Not “Thou shalt not starve to death,” “Nor thou shalt not work until you drop,” if that is how you have arranged your life. Being told “the right thing” was to SPEND like a drunken sailor for FIRE products at the Wall Street mall, and being naive enough to believe it, doesn’t in any way shape nor form, alter that mathematical inevitability.

That mother and 2 children in the photo seem awfully well-fed and nicely clothed for indigents who supposedly left Central America with just the clothes on their back and “walked” several thousand miles. Just saying!

It is time we behave as if Hillary! had won the election and shut down the border, just like she is telling the Eurotrash to do. Either that, or eliminate the welfare state and open the borders to all 7,000,000,000 people on Planet Earth. Why should Central Americans get priority over the poor shlubs stuck in Bangladesh?

Kinda noticed that too! Gotta love that Disney’s finest…

Re: Hillary! Gotta love her timing, yammering about something the European’s already did a year or two ago with dirty deals with Libya militias, Erdogan, etc.

“It is time we behave as if Hillary! had won the election…”

If it makes you feel any better, Trump took your advice as soon as he won and surrounded himself with Goldmanites and MIC honks. There have been plenty of moments we’ve all had to double check that Hillary DIDN’T win.

Credible eyewitness reports confirm that more than 90% of the caravan consists of young men aged 20-40 or thereabouts. Whenever a camera is spotted, the handful of women and children accompanying the caravan are installed in front of the rest. There is no proof whatsoever than any of them are fleeing from political persecution – on the contrary, when asked, most confirm they are hoping to improve their material situation (which is a legitimate desire, but it still requires sticking to the rules; besides, if theirs is a sh*thole country, why don’t they stay and do something to improve it?). The whole thing is a blatant propaganda exercise – my guess is the organizers are betting on the confrontation at the border to turn violent and maybe even cost lives in the hope they can use some well-edited footage as a club against the administration.
