There are two options here. One is that Trump or someone in his administration is implicated. I guess that’s possible, but I think the second option is more likely. Trump, by keeping the list and evidence to himself, may now use it to “influence” a lot of people. Given who was involved that is a lot of influencing. If he released it then he’d lose that influence.
