Trump “Beclowned” Himself: Canada and Germany will Retaliate, and France Jabs

Steve Schmidt Profile

Stephen Edward Schmidt (born 1970) is an American communications and public affairs strategist best known for strategic roles on Republican political campaigns including those of George W. Bush, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and U.S. Senator John McCain. He specializes in “message development and strategy.” Schmidt was the senior campaign strategist and advisor to the 2008 presidential campaign of Senator John McCain. He is a Vice Chairman at the public relations firm Edelman and a political analyst for MSNBC.

Macron Takes Jab at Trump

Macron says says international cooperation can’t depend on ‘fits of anger’

“International cooperation cannot depend on fits of anger or little words. Let us be serious and worthy of our people,” French President Emmanuel Macron’s office said in a statement obtained by Le Monde.

The statement, which did not mention Trump by name, appeared to come down on the president for “incoherence and inconsistency” in his snub of the communique, which includes a commitment to a “rules-based international trading system” and to combating protectionism.

“We spent two days to obtain a text and commitments. We will stand by them and anyone who would depart from them, once their back was turned, shows their incoherence and inconsistency,” the statement said.

You can stand by words all you want, but if everyone bows down to clowns, what happens then?

Beclown Image

Here is the story behind the image.

I searched for a fitting “beclowned” image and could not locate one.

I did find a nice AP Image of Donald Trump and a Clown Image from Dreamstime.

This is what I started with.

I resized Trump’s head smaller and tilted it at the right angle until it matched the angle and size of the clown’s head.

I then used layer masks and opacity blends to reveal the portion of Trump’s head that I wanted.

As a finishing touch I added yellow to the patch of Trump’s hair that I kept instead of the white glove.

I like the fact that other countries are starting to despise US. Maybe NATO will be dissolved and we can go back to being a republic again. A depression would be good for real estate and other prices.

Struggling to remember the last time US military aims could be described as defense. The most recent possible date would be 1945 and that’s debatable.

No tariffs to australia

Hmm I wonder why. Australia’s goods exports to the United States were $12.4 billion. Australia’s total imports from the United States were $29.7 billion.

Feel free to start one here.

Because Russia and NK don’t have one sided trade agreements with us and pay for their own defense?

Every person at that G7 meeting is a lying, corrupt POS that don’t give a damn about their people except for Trump. Mish, you have jumped the shark with your Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Trump was scorned for his rhetoric with regard to North Korea. Now, he and KJU
are sitting at the conference table, with NK giving at least lip service to
disarmament. I’ll wait and see about his trade negotiations, too.

The US has extended the Marshall plan from Europe and Japan, across the Pacific
rim and into China, with the hope that prosperity would reduce the chances for
conflict. The US has been accepting unfavorable trade agreements for the last
70 years to promote peace at the expense of the American worker and American
capital accumulation. Since the 80s, the capital flight has been “YUGE”. If we
can’t get free trade, perhaps Mr Trump can get us closer to fair trade.

You are correct on both points. There is no excuse for TDS of either flavor. To assert otherwise would be a tu quoque fallacy.

Trump is clearly not advancing the “globalist agenda”, so when corporate media use their stooges to attack him at every opportunity, you know why.

Trump Derangement Syndrome cuts both ways.

Grifter countries who don’t want to give up their one sided trade deals or pay for their own defense. Life is going to get much harder for them.

Surely someone here has the numbers and can answer the question explicitly and specifically.

Trump is not worth listening to, and the end comes (for any celebrity) when they are overexposed (Roseanne Barr) Its been a mixed blessing. The MSM promotes the vast soundbite machine, now there is too much Trump, and none of it worth hearing. Its like that uncle at Thanksgiving who has one good joke and then descends into banality. Media impressions of the meeting support Schmidt. The first job of the US president is not to become held up to public ridicule.

Unelected Schmidt who has a record of working on failed campaigns is a Republican spokesman? Tony_CA is right, Mish. You have made it very clear that you detest the elected President of your country (as you are certainly entitled to do) .. but you are better than this.

Who cares what that political hack says. Mish you are better than quoting the likes of Schmidt who’s claim to fame was running the inept McCain 2008. He is simply not worth listening to.
