Let’s Check in on the DNC Leadership Clown Show

You really have to watch this video to believe it.

DNC Leadership Election

https://youtu.be/O0gxnf82n-U

I have to say I am very disappointed in the winner.

Imagine, with all the above exceptional talent, the party actually voted for a straight white guy.

AP News reports Democrats elect Ken Martin, the party leader in Minnesota, as their national chair

Martin offered a warning to Trump and his Republican allies after the vote was announced: “We’re coming. This is a new Democratic Party. We’re taking the gloves off.”

Martin now becomes one of the most important players in the Democratic Party’s comeback attempt as Trump pushes the limits of presidential power. While Martin promised bold changes, he said he could not discuss specific actions until the party conducted a postelection review to determine what went wrong in November.

Change is coming “after” they figure out what went wrong.

I suggest that if they want to understand what went wrong, they need to play the above video.

Amusingly, “It is unclear how long the process might take.” Martin said it would be completed “as quickly as possible” and then released publicly.

Since I am in the mood for laughs, I can hardly wait to see what they come up with.

Praise Trump for Ending DEI

Also see Praise Trump for Ending DEI. But Unrooting Infestation Will Take Time

DEI infestation is still pervasive at Universities, especially the University of Colorado. How do we rectify that?

I wonder what these guys do for a living. Back in 1996 the conventions published the names and jobs of all the attendees. Democrats were heavy on government workers. Republicans were heavy on small business owners.

Alot of them funnel money through USAID, into NGO’s which funnel the money back to them and through the Bahamas of course. Taxes are only for the little people, the crooks have a nice PO Box in the Bahamas with a couple dozen LLCs and other legal entities to smudge up the trail a bit.

According to AP:

While Martin promised bold changes, he said he could not discuss specific actions until the party conducted a postelection review to determine what went wrong in November.

He was overhead afterward reassuring Nancy Pelosi that he would give the draft “Review” to the major donors for their thumbs up before finalizing it. Pelosi told him that the donors would insist that the final published Review would not be binding in private, and most of it would be scuttled by the leadership anyway. Martin was overhead saying “of course!” and gave her a hug.

Mish, thanks so much for the humor! That video killed me!

I can’t believe that the Democrat party has gone so far to the left and they can’t see it? How about moderates from both Democrat and Republican get together and form a new party. Leave the wacko’s to self destruct just like the Green Party in Germany.

What do you mean, “gone so far to the left”? If they had really gone to the left, they would have raised the minimum wage, enacted Medicare For All (instead of the corporate scam called Obolacare) and opposed the genocide in Gaza.

Guess you didn’t read the Democratic Platform at the last Party CONvention? Mandatory child gender surgery for all paid by taxpayers, was sandwiched between Men Must B in the Ladies Room Plank, and White Must Die, (but not before they take out the garbage)Plank

Its such a welcoming party, they let anyone who agrees with everything join so they can fight about what everything really is, they are sticklers for details, I never had to take a loyalty test to use the bathroom before.. and I just wandered in from the park to use the bathroom.

Doubtful that they’ll go back to their roots… if they made taking no corporate money and supporting the 1st amendment their two most important platforms they could kick butt. They’ll probably double down on the same bullshit if the recent past is any indication

They’ve been so vocal against free speech … it would be a big turn to come back and support it. Of course, many people believe free speech has all kinds of limits like “hate speech” which, of course, only they can identify. So they could pretend to support the 1st amendment like they do now.

Martin’s last comments remind me of one of Ronald Reagan’s favorite political jokes.

“A middle-aged woman walks into a bridal shop and asks to be shown an assortment of white bridal gowns.
The saleslady nods and says “I think it’s wonderful that someone your age is getting married for the first time.”
The woman replies, “I’m afraid that’s not true. I’ve already been married three times.”
The saleslady then says, “Well if that’s the case, don’t you think it would be appropriate for you to try on something more modest and not necessarily in white?”
The woman replies, “Oh no. A white bridal gown is entirely appropriate. Let me explain. My first husband and and I were very much in love. We were having such a wonderful time at our wedding reception, but all the emotion and excitement must have been just too overwhelming for him. He dropped dead from a heart attack on the dance floor. My second husband and I were in the car on our way from the wedding reception to the airport to begin our honeymoon when we had a terrible, terrible argument. In fact, it was so bad that we decided to have the marriage annulled as soon as possible. My third husband – well he was a Democrat. And every single night for two whole years he would sit on the edge of our bed and tell me ‘how good it was going to be’.”

Point is … it doesn’t matter who is better. They could not get enough POCs who could pass the test to apply. They stayed short staffed because they wanted a more diverse work mix and hiring more white folks (who did apply and did pass the test) was not going to get that done. It’s just numbers … not enough applications from POCs who could pass the test … so stayed short staffed.

A more appropriate quote is from Carl Sagan (1995) which is true of both parties now:

“Science is more than a body of knowledge; it is a way of thinking. I have a foreboding of an America in my children’s or grandchildren’s time—when the United States is a service and information economy; when nearly all the key manufacturing industries have slipped away to other countries; when awesome technological powers are in the hands of a very few, and no one representing the public interest can even grasp the issues; when the people have lost the ability to set their own agendas or knowledgeably question those in authority; when, clutching our crystals and nervously consulting our horoscopes, our critical faculties in decline, unable to distinguish between what feels good and what’s true, we slide, almost without noticing, back into superstition and darkness.”

Amazing foresight from 30 years ago from a great man of science.

Trump won because he picked up RFK Jr and with that came Joe Rogan and his base. While the Dems have led the charge on alternative health and eliminating artificial and toxic food ingredients they failed to see that many of their own were in the RFK Jr camp including anti vax Dems. Already some young parents are connecting the dots, realizing that their children’s health will be far more compromised by Trump’s anti-environment stance than eating Fruit Loops with red dye. Trump is incapable of governing and voters will soon reject his knee jerk blaming of DEI for everything that goes wrong.

Politics is the system by which economics is implemented. How are non-infinite goods distributed to the nations people?

as the people grow more stupid (as general class), the politics must grow more stupid, think of it as a mirror or as an indicator.

We are at the point where we must actually tell half the population, that the best person for the job is someone who can do the job best, irregardless of color, sex (sorry only 2), or creed. That is scary that the masses are so mal-educated and brainwashed that they don’t understand competency and excellency are the only things that matter in creating a better world.

yeah so thats the kind of politics we have now, something that can deal with intense graft and looting by the power structure since the inception of the Federal Reserve, while dealing with a nation of people’s deliberately fed propaganda and splintered by the deliberate destruction of public and religious institutions, into disoreinted dysfuntional families struggling under the burdens of deindustrialization and a computer revolution that wiped out labour and creativity and intellect.

Chaos on a low burn waiting for some dry tinder. I’m glad I’m not in charge, its a tough ship to turn.
