The White House physician reports Trump is Being Treated with Dexamethasone.
Dexamethasone, a type of corticosteroid, has been considered a treatment only for severely ill COVID-19 patients; “corticosteroids also appear to be associated with benefit among critically ill patients with COVID-19 whether they are receiving mechanical ventilation or oxygen without mechanical ventilation,” researchers wrote in September in a JAMA editorial. One of Trump’s physicians said Sunday morning during a press conference that Trump received the first dose of dexamethasone on Saturday.
Trump Might Be Discharged Monday
CNN reports Trump could be discharged from Walter Reed medical center as early as Monday.
Dr. Brian Garibaldi, who is part of President Trump’s medical team, said the President could be discharged from Walter Reed medical center as early as Monday.
Trump completed a second dose of remdesivir on Saturday and “today he feels well,” Garibaldi said.
Trump’s physician, Dr. Sean Conley, provided some more details as to the President’s condition Friday, which is when he was taken to the medical center.
“Late Friday morning when I returned to the bedside, the President had a high fever and his oxygen saturation was transiently dipping below 94%,” Conley said. “Given these developments I was concerned for possible rapid progression of the illness. I recommended the President we try supplemental oxygen, see how he would respond. He was fairly adamant he didn’t need it. He was not short of breath. He was tired, had a fever, that was about it. After about a minute only two liters his saturation levels were back over 95%. He stayed on that for about an hour maybe, and it was off and gone. Later that day by the time the team here was at the bedside the president had been up out of bed moving about the residence with only mild symptoms.”

Your postings suggest we can’t really be sure of Trump’s state of health. The NY Times also picked up on the Dexamethasone. Couple of possibilities, one is the patient and not the Doctors is directing treatment here, the second is that Trump’s condition is far worse than being admitted to. If they release him Monday it would be highly unusual and only possible since the white house is outfitted with a hosppital room and has scome facilities.
Trump got covid-19. He was airlifted to walter Reed. He was treated by a dozen of the nation’s top doctors. He received treatments not available to most Americans including Regeneron which only 200 people are getting as part of a study where strings had to be pulled.
And through all this Trump wants to end health insurance for the least fortunate Americans.
What am I missing here? Why should he get reelected. A person who got tested positive, took a Regeneron treatment and hopped on a plane to meet donors without even wearing a mask. Talk about psychopaths! This isn’t TDS. Its justified outrage

Note the last few words. It is not helpful when give to patients not receiving respiratory support.
I hope the doctors don’t damage Trump by going overboard with the medicines.

I had the same thought…..but what he really meant was that it might steer the course of THE NARRATIVE in a different direction.
They’ve all been given instructions to downplay any and all symptoms…to give nothing but positive news.
The virus won’t care about that…..but I expect Trump to weather the storm….he is being given better care than most of the people in his age group….but there is always an element of chance in these things. Don’t expect to get a straight story as long as Trump is in charge and he can exert his influence on his team….who are now pretty much all yes-men, sycophants, and other power-mad sociopaths like him.

Remember, that world contains placebos. And, it’s common for someone sick to miraculously recover from something that appears identical in a person who dies quickly.

President Donald Trump is furious with chief of staff Mark Meadows after the top West Wing official contradicted the White House physician’s assessment Saturday of the President’s health, two sources with knowledge of the situation told CNN on Sunday.
Meadows is now widely known inside the White House to be the unnamed source who spoke to reporters following the medical briefing Saturday and offered a more dire assessment than Navy Cmdr. Dr. Sean Conley had given shortly before. That reporting was initially given to a pool of reporters attributed to an official familiar with the President’s condition. Later, the Associated Press and the New York Times identified that official as Meadows.
“The President’s vitals over the last 24 hours were very concerning and the next 48 hours will be critical in terms of his care. We are still not on a clear path to a full recovery,” Meadows said to reporters.
Trump is outraged at Meadows over the botched message, according to a senior Trump adviser.
It is clear that media no longer respects “off the record” requests from Republicans.
What kind of idiot stands up outside and gives an off the record update in the view of the public ? People could hear that from the street. Off the record requests are generally done indoors out of sight, you know not within earshot of people walking by on the street.
Obviously, Trump would be outraged by the truth.
The thing is, giving false assessments of his health accomplishes nothing. If they say he will be released Monday, but he is still in the hospital next Friday, what did they accomplish? Lying about his status is just bizarre.
I have it on fairly good medical authority that Trump’s medical problems are nowhere near over. He will continue to have significant health problems for the rest of his life because of poor baseline health due to aftereffects of Covid.

I think his condition is more serious than they want to project, and the O2 sat and steroids confirms. How serious is anybody’s guess unless the medical team is involved in leaks.
As for the long-term effects, they are unpredictable and quite disparate, ranging from a few weaks of weakness to horror stories, regardless of risk factors.

Casual Observer earlier made comments how people should read the unredacted documents available to the Senate Intelligence committee that he claimed to have read so either Casual Observer is a staff member to one of the Senate intelligence committee Democrats or poses as somebody with inside knowledge.

I to find it hard to vote republican these days. Trump is just the nail in the coffin for the party. I feel its the congress and senates fault also.
