Welcome to Kamalot (Accompanied with Massive Coconut Giggles)

Please consider the cover of New York Magazine. It speaks for itself.

Mercy!

I don’t have access to the article and certainly won’t pay to see it.

As soon as I get an update from Nate Silver, I will post what he believes are the current odds.

This is from July 23. Nate, where are you?

How Harris is Polling Against Trump

I expected a bounce and there it is. But these are national polls. Seven states are going to decide this.

For many weeks I have had many people tell me that Harris can’t win. Of course she can. And I don’t mean by ballot stuffing either.

Both Trump and Harris have a lot of baggage and both like to stick their feet in their mouths.

Vance was a bad pick for many reasons. We don’t know yet who Harris will pick.

I think Trump will win, but it’s not a given. My reason is economics. I think we are in recession and things will get worse.

It is very difficult to win when the economy sours.

Angry Renters Will Decide the Election

On June 19, I commented Why Angry Renters Will Decide the Election, Take II

Economists say wages are now rising faster than the CPI. That’s not true for those who rent or wish to buy a house.

The Share of Young Adults Living with Parents is the Highest Since 1940

Today I posted The Share of Young Adults Living with Parents is the Highest Since 1940

Due to waning housing affordability, a growing number of Americans continue to live with their parents into adulthood.

“All Hell Breaks Loose”

Also consider “All Hell Breaks Loose” In the Next Few Months as Recession Bites

Two of us are still adamant that a recession has started. The other is Danielle DiMartino Booth, in her best video yet. Please take a look.

Still, the election is not a given, and trump just cannot avoid FIMD (Foot In Mouth Disease).

Why is there any confusion about Kamala Harris’s new theme logo of a coconut?
Kamala Harris= ‘Coco-Nut’
But really -who doesn’t like nuts. So let’s all sit down the next 3 months, and start happy hour with a big bowl of your favorite nuts, and watch the action on TV!

This election is once again based on which is stronger: hatred of Trump or hatred of the state of the union. In 2016, the latter won out. In 2020, the former won out. And 2024?

Kamala doesn’t figure in any of this. She is no better than Brandon. Whereas he babbles and garbles due to dementia, she does so do to a lack of brain cells. But that doesn’t matter. Only hatred of Trump or the economy matters.

I’ve got a lovely bunch of coconuts
There they are, all standing in a row
Big ones, small ones, some as big as your head
Give them a twist a flick of the wrist
That’s what the showman said

Agreed; the more people see of her the less likable (which is not likable to begin with) she becomes. But Trump’s stupidity and penchant for saying stupid things is a wild card even he can’t control.

Welcome to Kamelot or Kumelot is probably more accurate in keeping with unicorns and New York. Speaking of coconuts, I once asked a Samoan what his twenty or more letter surname meant. “Man eating coconut” he replied.
Do you mean a man eating a coconut or a coconut eating a man? I asked. He had a good laugh over a coconut eating a man like a shark under the Golden Gate.

Interestingly enough, the 1st Marx brothers film was titled “the Cocanuts’
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0019777/?ref_=tt_mv_close

During the Florida land boom, The Marx Brothers run a hotel, auction off some land, thwart a jewel robbery, and generally act like themselves.

Now these were Marxists I could support, unlike the current Marxist running for President. Seymour Hersh says, Obama selected Harris and used her approval to invoke the 25th amendment to bludgeon Biden into stepping down.

Seems about par for the course, there’s a reason Obama built a mansion in Washington D.C. when he “retired”

The media welcoming Kamala as if descended from heaven is a spectacle to behold, and if anyone needed evidence that the media is purely a propaganda machine at this point, well this should be evidence enough to bring sight to the blind.

Did anyone seriously expect the mass media not to resume its highly politicized opining (aka brain washing)? IMHO, the only positive in this election may be Elon Musk, if he stays the course with freedom of speech.

This election, like the last (2020), will likely depend on the mass media. So far they are running true to form. If it keeps on brainwashing the populace, Virgin Kamala will be the 47th.

Alternatively, Kennedy will take enough electoral votes that 270 is not attained.

After decades Dr. Stanley Plotkin and his vaccinologist disciples insisting vaccines are the most well studied products on the planet, they just admitted precisely the opposite.

They admitted vaccines are not properly studied—neither pre-licensure nor post-licensure. For example, “prelicensure clinical trials have limited sample sizes [and] follow-up durations” and that “there are not resources earmarked for postauthorization safety studies.”

For decades, parents of vaccine injured children, vaccine injured adults, and other stakeholders contested these claims only to be shunned and attacked by the medical community and health agencies.

New England Journal of Medicine article: https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMp2402379?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email

Also ignored are the mountain of studies and data which already exist that clearly show serious vaccine harms. Just take a moment to review the large body of science around just one of the adjuvants used in vaccines which multiple studies show can cause serious harm. See https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38788092/.

even if the antiviral content of the vaccine were “harmless” which i doubt. The aluminum that is included in each shot is very suspect. The digestive tract can remove aluminum in foods, but there is no mechanism to remove aluminum from the blood and tissues of the body, so it accumulates with every shot.

Childhood vaccine requirements are now incredibly more than Seventy shots before school age. Thats lots of room for failure if only 10% of those shots are damaging, its a tragedy, but all that aluminum building up in the brain and tissues is yet more cause for alarm.

I’ve pretty much had my last vaccine and that was a tetanus booster a decade ago. I no longer trust the medical community and I worked in the medical field for decades.

Engineering a Crisis: How Political Theater Helps the Deep State Stay in Power

Afailed assassination attempt on a presidential candidate. An incumbent president withdrawing his re-election bid at the 11th hour.

A politicized judiciary that fails to hold the powers-that-be accountable to the rule of law. A world at war. A nation in turmoil.

This is what controlled chaos looks like.

This year’s election-year referendum on which corporate puppet should occupy the White House has quickly become a lesson in how the Deep State engineers a crisis to keep itself in power.

Don’t get so caught up in the performance that you lose sight of what’s real.

This endless series of diversions, distractions and political drama is the oldest con game in the books, the magician’s sleight of hand that keeps you focused on the shell game in front of you while your wallet is being picked clean by ruffians in your midst.

The Democrats are trying to portray her as Prince Hal in Shakespeare’s Henry IV where he goes through a sudden character transformation from a good for nothing wastrel into a formidable personage. The change from low expectations into someone consequential makes Prince Hal’s light shine brighter in the public eye.

I know you all, and will awhile uphold
The unyoked humour of your idleness:
Yet herein will I imitate the sun,
Who doth permit the base contagious clouds
To smother up his beauty from the world,
That, when he please again to be himself,
Being wanted, he may be more wonder’d at.”

Now she has renounce Falstaff and vanquish Harry Hotspur in single combat but who is her Falstaff and who is her Hotspur? I wonder.

As I have posted previously, the plan all along was for Biden to win reelection, then 3 months into the second term, step down due to health reasons and elevate Harris to the presidency.

Biden’s sharply declining mental acuity forced a change of the plan, which was still to get the black female as president. This is Clyburn’s reward for making Biden’s first term possible in 2020.

Folks, you’re reading too much into the coconut thing! Here’s the background. In a 2023 speech, Kamala used a personal anecdote near the conclusion of her speech: “My mother used to — she would give us a hard time sometimes, and she would say to us, ‘I don’t know what’s wrong with you young people. You think you just fell out of a coconut tree?’”
The “coconut tree” quote had already gone viral on social media, particularly TikTok. Users made jokes about Harris’ change in tone from lighthearted to serious before and after the “coconut tree” sentence and how the quote made little sense out of context. More recently, Rapper Doja Cat tweeted part of Harris’ quote last month and has been used by Republicans and Harris’ detractors as a point of criticism.
But then the “coconut tree” quote became a rallying cry in support of Harris and her supporters have termed her candidacy as “Operation Coconut Tree.” They add coconut emojis and routinely reference coconut trees on social media posts.

My take: The Dems created the Dark Brandon brand as a way to fight back against the negativism against Joe via the Let’s Go Brandon/FJB brand. This is a similar attempt at rebranding negative views against their chosen candidate.

I have heard the phrase in its standard usage many times before. It doesn’t mean anything more than what it says. Any more than …..are you from outer space, did you just get off the ship, do you think we live in a rose garden etc. ……In this case, a bunch of white handlers think it resonates with black American voters for some reason.

The let’s go Brandon comment wasn’t a comment on Biden. It was slur on the media and their need to make even the silliest, in your face, cringe worthy efforts to shield Biden from embarrassment. That is why it resonated with so much of the public. The dark Brandon attempt at a meme failed to gain acceptance with the public because it missed the point.

My take…..A bunch of white people are going to go gaga over coconuts for a while at the direction of the media, to show their solidarity with black people. Most black American voters will be indifferent to just another example of white people doing white things in an attempt to show how cool they are about black people.

To the extent that there is any cultural significance to the comment, it might resonate well with the Indo-Pacific crowd. Which is actually much closer to Harris’s cultural heritage (with a dash of family tradition of Caribbean slave holding plantation owner complete with having to flee the region to Canada when their slaves revolted, thrown in)

Not having any idea of where the “coconut tree” came from, my initial reaction to this picture was the Monty Python scene. Where’d you get those coconuts? I would expect a discussion on whether she was carried to the forefront by English sparrows or African sparrows. Seems appropriate for the level of intelligence that would offer Harris as a serious candidate for President.

Democrats have actively cheated in every Presidential election since 1960. What they did in 2020 was nothing compared to what they will do this time. The Obama/Clyburn machine using the AME church network to GOTV and the‘community organizing’ networks to count the ballots make them unstoppable.

This could end and an honest election ensue if the media actually did their job. But they have all been bought and paid for many times over.

Everyone still has the notion that this election cycle will be decided by Top down.
In other words the headliner slot will pull the rest of party along.
The other option that the local elections will decide the Top slot outcome gets ignored.
What am seeing is a dearth of signs as in very few for President. I live in a suburban setting East of NYC. Some Trump country signs on lawns but when it comes to Dems it is only Local and state candidates with one sign for House seat in area.

GOP can run a very solid get out the vote campaign using Local and State position candidates. They field a very deep bench. If a person is in the booth filling in a Ballot and they go Red for the Local, no matter personal feelings associated with Trump they will more then likely go Red for Pres. Sticking with issues that affect Local people very much aligned with tried and true, that all elections are Local.

Running a National campaign with a picture of Harris sitting on a coconut, uhm the symbolism seems somewhat lacking in thinking. Associating presence of a nut with Harris I agree is appropriate. Probably not a good idea if a strategy was thought thru first.

That cover… is the left so divorced from reality that they don’t even realize their parodying themselves.

Kids living at home today is no different than in 1940. A 19 to 25-year old male could NEVER have afforded to buy his own farm back then.

So, he remained in the family unit, tilled the land and inherited his Dad’s Milk farm when Dad died in his 50’s.

Well done on your accomplishments. But you glossed over the part where Heartland said ‘Dad died in his 50’s’. Working seven day a week as you did can do that to a man. My motto has always been ‘dare to be average.’

“Dare to be average”, lol – thumbs up for that….

As Bertrand Russell said, “Without the leisure class mankind would never have emerged from barbarism.”

Kids very rarely went to University in the 40’s and 50s. Probably half didn’t even graduate high school. Both my father or uncle (who went into business together for decades) quit at age 16 (when you could legally do so) and went to work full time. So by the time they were 22 when most kids today are graduating with a TON of debt, they had already been working full time for 7+ years. They were buying homes in their mid 20s because they had been working a decade by then which is the equivalent of the mid 30s or later today when you consider college debt.

Trust me, people then could afford to buy homes because they started working earlier and didn’t have college debt.

Nor did they carry credit card or car loan debt. The moneylenders have taken your country. The undoing will not be accomplished by voting. They have the money to buy politicians and you do not. The end of this system will not be pretty.
