As expected, RFK drops out of the election. The Wall Street Journal agrees with my take that this helps Trump.
Kennedy Drops Out
The WSJ reports Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Drops Out of Presidential Race, Endorses Donald Trump
Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.said he would suspend his election bid and endorse Donald Trump, potentially boosting the Republican former president just after Democrats left their convention with renewed hope for a win.
“I promised the American people that I would withdraw from the race if I became a spoiler,” Kennedy said at a rally here Friday. “In my heart, I no longer believe that I have a realistic path to electoral victory in the face of this relentless, systematic censorship and media control.”
Polls indicate that Kennedy’s departure will likely help Trump, providing some welcome news for a candidate who has struggled to counter Harris’s momentum. At the rally, Kennedy suggested that Trump, whom he has spoken to in recent weeks, had asked “to enlist me in his administration.” He said he tried to meet with Harris and she declined.
On Friday, Kennedy said he would seek to remove his name from the ballot in competitive battleground states—but leave it on others, letting voters back him in solid blue or solid red states where he wouldn’t affect the outcome.
“In an honest system, I believe I would have won the election,” Kennedy said.
Why Help for Trump
In a Wall Street Journal national poll released in late July after Harris entered the race, Kennedy received 4% support. That was down from 7% in early July—when Biden was still in the contest.
Harris picked up the disgruntled anti-Biden voters already.
Trump will clean up among the RFK supporters that remained although many may not vote at all.
Disgruntled Family Members Attack RFK
Betting Odds Say Kennedy Will Drop Out to Endorse Trump, Will This Matter?
Yesterday I asked, Betting Odds Say Kennedy Will Drop Out to Endorse Trump, Will This Matter?
My conclusion was yes.
In a close election, small percentages could matter.
If current momentum shifts by a point anyway, and RFK gives Trump another 1 percentage point, then RFK could easily tip the election.
However, could and will are different matters. It remains to be seen if this is helpful enough.

I personally believe that now the running pair is Trump & Kennedy. With a firm swoosh he is much more interesting and in focus then Vance. I believe if the cards are played right, Trump wins. Hoping that he keeps focus on issues and not people.
Bobby has been super effective at saving the environment and clean water. All the stuff Mish likes to take pictures of. In the end, Kennedy has done more than all these politicians combined. He is a great man
Finely someone is talking about health and the poison foods and pharmacy. Finely!!!!
Did you listen to the entire speech?
https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/international-news/politics/rfk-endorses-trump-will-join-his-cabinet/
armstrong is a con man
So, I guess that nullifies RFK’s words? Please educate me on the cons, Big Man from Community College.
Why can’t we see that pluralism (related to freedom) cannot be reduced to a bivalent system? We can’t reduce the continuum to a binary red/blue framework.
Our entire system needs to be overhauled. If you do online banking, you should support online voting. You know it’s cryptographically secure and anonymous, and this can be proven mathematically.
We need to get rid of first-past-the-post and allow for multi-candidate voting. We should also eliminate the whole tribal system and just have candidates who focus on the issues and policies.
We, the voters, can classify them however we want.
We also need a fourth branch. It might have no power, but it should keep a record of every citizen’s vote who wants to partake. I want to know what the American people want, not what Halliburton, Chase Bank, or any lobbyist thinks.
“…If you do online banking, you should support online voting…” etc etc etc
To which Spock replied, “Evil does seem to maintain power by suppressing the truth.”
we can validate the ledeger. hence transparency and security.
Adam, methinks you are too trusting of the DIGITAL REVOLUTION. Now, you DO know that any system can be hacked, manipulated as easily as Man can do with PAPER VOTING. Alas, we can only HOPE for honesty and expect less, being mindfully alert, as best we can.
with a visible ledger, and public/private keys, we can look for data manipulation. and we can also do tests. we can mathematically verify it. it’s like looking a millions of poker hands in a log, and detecting cheating through math and stats.
online voting, with a public ledger, would be transparent and secure, and citizen can verify their own vote was recorded successfully.
Add RFK to the list of candidates who claim the elections in the most democratic country in the universe ever are not fair.
The list includes Ross Perrot, Buchanan, many independents, but also most democrat presidential candidates who have lost. Trump’s claims are nothing new, only the MSM narrative around it.
Fact is, there is decades of statistical, circumstantial, eye witness, and judicial testimony about irregularities, impossibilities, cheating, fraud … and the fact that US elections are less transparent, with less controls and audits, riven with irregularities, than most of the countries that are accused of election fraud (Congo, Venezuela, etc.) who actually present exemplary systems for the US to copy.
Yeah my faith in elections went from around 90% to around 0% now. And the more I learn, the more I see there were always problems. Though now the problems are an order or two of magnitude worse I think
I am at or about ZERO PERCENT faithful to a system WHICH HAS NO ETHICS, MORALS, or DECENCY.
We are lost as a country now, and to do something (VOTING) over and over and expecting different (better?) results is a form of madness, as we ALL KNOW!
You clearly do not understand the US election system and how it was games since the get go to ace out public participation. Even George Washington said political parties were nothing but trouble and was not in a party. The DNC is a corporation and functions as such. The party system, which has nothing to do with American governance has written all sorts of rules and laws to remove 3rd party influences. This is really more like PRI in Mexico in 80s than your examples. You are really poorly informed
The Dems are talking like Trump has been in control the past 8 years.
The whole campaign is without issues, basically a battle of TDS1 vs TDS2
type 1 and type 2
TDS2 = TDS1 + 34 felony conviction
I’m surprised that this post is tagged as ” economics” seems more like this post is about politics to me
sometimes a thing can have 2 names, economics is the study of the distribution of finite goods and services, Politics is the system by which distribution is accomplished.
They are vectors or angles into the same intertwined philosphy and ruling systems.
Smart points.
politics and economics overlap… you can’t disconnect the two, as they are both categories of power. politics and economics has always been connected.
correct. all soft sciences too. econ, politics, war…….one big subject. the best foundation to study is anthropology. the ethnographies of different societies on above stuff plus much more are wonderful. usually very small books……….
Yes I totally agree about the overlap and at the same time respectfully submit this post is only about politics.
UP VOTED THIS COMMENT.
In 1989, Sirhan told British journalist David Frost: “My only connection with Robert Kennedy was his sole support of Israel and his deliberate attempt to send those 50 fighter jets to Israel to obviously do harm to the Palestinians.”[3] Some scholars believe that the assassination was the first major incident of political violence in the United States stemming from the Israeli–Palestinian conflict (Sirhan carried out the attack on the first anniversary of the 1967 Arab–Israeli War), though it occurred at a time when the American public was overwhelmingly focused on the Vietnam War.[4]
Interesting. I learned something new today. FASCINATING.
Sirhan also was not alone
One point is easy to cheat. I honestly believe twenty points is cheatable. The best phrase I’ve seen is “at will”. The democrats can cheat at will.
or even after the will is read..posthumous voting is a thing…
Both sides have to claim that the other side destroyed our country and that they are the only ones who can save our democracy.
when Democrats say “democracy” they mean, “an election we can control and win”, and you used the catch phrase “our democracy”. When they say “our democracy”, they really do mean THEIRS.
YES, and of course they never use the proper terms: “REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC.” NO ONE WANTS TO BE ACCURATE as to what our nation was formed upon.
Yep.
AND: people FALL FOR THIS as if there is a SAVIOR PARTY. WOW is all that I can say. IT MUST BE PURPOSEFULLY and MINDFULLY BULLSHIT!!??
“Disgruntled Family Members Attack RFK”
That’s their problem. The family statement is garbage. Harris/Walz do not represent individual freedom or national pride. They sneer at America being great again. They support the WEF WHO globalists, which are anti-American. They support the invasion of illegal aliens, which are taking resources away from American citizens. The cost to NYC is allegedly going to be some 5 billion $ over the near term. In the face of that, the legal residents of NYC are left without hope and a brighter future.
They can go disgruntle themselves as far as I care.
Families know their members best.
And families are never biased, or mistaken.
Hitler’s mother, Klara was a ‘very quiet, sweet, and affectionate woman.’ She thought Adolf was charming. When she died of advanced-stage breast cancer, Adolf ‘was devastated by her death and carried the grief for the rest of his life.’
What’s the link between Hitler and RFK Jr.? The point is that the whole family thinks RFK Jr. is a nutcase.
Out of 110 immediate family relations, how many signed that. You are poorly informed
Now MAGA got its dream trio: (1) a washed out business man with fake hair; (2) a hillbilly impersonator who used to opine that MAGA stands for Make Assholes Great Again; and (3), a guy whose whole family thinks he has gone nuts.
Your team is a real winner: a commie skank who fucked her way into politics and married a guy who knocked up the nanny and a fake folksy VP who blamed drunk driving 96 in a. 55 on being deaf and put tampons in boys bathrooms.
Based on your imaginations, I can see why JD Vance before his flip flop thought that MAGA stands for Make Assholes Great Again.
Albert’s shirt:
Commie Skank ‘24
Kamala gave blow jobs to Willie Brown , Mayor of SF and Legislative Leader of the California Assembly. Blew him for a W, some fake jobs that paid 80k and a key to DNC. Brown even admits this!!
You just got schooled.
nanny and the professor. he is a law prof now. what’s wrong with a little hanky panky to get to the top and with the young nubile nanny. you amerikans are stuck up
Sometimes it is a compliment when certain people don’t like you.
Saw a clip where Trump let someone pull on his hair. It’s real. The doctors who work for Children’s Health Defense do not think RFK Jr. has gone nuts. Recently the godfather of vaccines, Stanley Plotkin, admitted that vaccines are not properly tested for safety and efficacy pre or post market. RFK Jr. is on the right side of the science.
Let a serious person pull his air, and it’s all gone. Fake, just like the rest of his story.
If it were fake it would look better.
Perhaps you could point out, exactly, the lies and fake elements of RFK’s speech of Aug 23rd.
its a battle against the propaganda machine, most democrats don’t think, they only beleive – mostly what they are told over and over.
RFK Jr, like his father, has more integrity than the rest of the family put together.
when you cannot refute the ideas, attack the physical appearance, attack the mental qualities. but one cannot attack such things if they are possessed by democrats. when they go low we go high, I think was a lie.
Attacking physical appearance (e.g. of disabled persons) and mental qualities (e.g. of women) is a speciality of Trump. But now that you said it, agree that’s because he has no ideas.
democracy works, so they will probably win. the people usually do affinity voting since republic of plato was penned. Aholes elect aholes……..democracy works. always has.
Why waste my time commenting?
the Olzempics are over – France is closed, The World Series doesn’t begin Until december 1st, Ophah is reruns of her LoveFest with Ellen, and The Disney CHannel doesn’t have a new Lesbian Starwars show for at least a year, so nothing on TV, might as well hang here and shoot the breeze…..
The situation is well described here by Bret Weinstein:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F746FWYIp34
RFK jr. destroyed any notion that there is someone in White House that has a functioning brain.
He was Lucid, on target with presenting a policy, in depth, even broached the approaching storm of USD losing global reserve status.
Just listening to him speak for many people, contrasted with what America has been told was a sharp as a Tack president, demonstrated just how goofy the whole past 3 1/2 years has been.
no notes or teleprompter
RFK Jr gained 5% of the voters. 3.5% from D and 1.5% from R. By eliminating him
the D have more to gain.
Your math is off.
a product of modern math and the new educational system, all variables are numbers, therefor all numbers are variable…..
The “incumbents” are shouting that the mess we are in needs to be solved by the “incumbents” who have caused the problems!
We need to solve the War problem: KAMALA TO THE RESCUE.
We need to stop the Genocide in Palestine: KAMALA TO THE RESCUE.
We need another Inflation Reduction Act: KAMALA TO THE RESCUE.
We have to solve the Immigration problem: KAMALA TO THE RESCUE.
We need to solve Homelessness: KAMALA TO THE RESCUE.
We need to take care of Black People: KAMALA TO THE RESCUE.
We need to stop this nonsense with Gender Affirmation: KAMALA TO THE RESCUE.
We need to deal with ______________: KAMALA TO THE RESCUE.
This was fantastic to see, and has absolutely nothing to do with Trump, but everything to do with our election system and the fake, phony MSM interference, along with the repeated lies from the Democrat Party and mostly made up or fabricated from fake news stories and accounts. Of course the Anti-American Agenda that Kamala and the Democrat Party are hoisting onto the American Citizens is beyond understanding, unless you are truly a Communist IMHO.
– Kennedy said: “In my heart, I no longer believe that I have a realistic path to electoral victory in the face of this relentless, systematic censorship and media control.”
> Making his obvious point of fact, and one that should be listened to by the masses of Both Parties!
– Kennedy suggested that Trump, had asked “to enlist me in his administration.” He said he tried to meet with Harris and Harris declined.
> Why would Kennedy remain a Democrat, when they don’t want a party of unity and would clearly much prefer a dictatorship, as Harris displays clearly.
– Kennedy said he would seek to remove his name from the ballot in competitive battleground states—but leave it on others, letting voters back him in solid blue or solid red states where he wouldn’t affect the outcome.
> Clearly this move will affect the outcome, but in a positive way I think. If the Voters, who care about America, listen and understand what Kennedy is pointing out as factual. He is being straight up and honest and informing those that wish to hear him out. You can stay with the sleazy group of frauds, or follow his lead to a prosperous America, just like last ti e Trump was in office. Your Choice!
– “In an honest system, I believe I would have won the election,” Kennedy said.
> Can’t say I agree with that, but it’s possible I would imagine! America would have to have a Free, Fair, and Honest Election for us to really and truly know if that would have been the outcome. I would have loved to have the opportunity of having a Free, Fair, and Honest Election, but Maybe Next Year?
RFK’s speech personifies what is wrong with how the Country is governed ……. Great Countries always die from within …
Blacks have issues with slavery from 200 years ago. New immigrants from the ME want to turn this country into an Islamic state. They are taking over in Europe and the US. It’s not about land. It’s about ideology. They would like to see Jews burning in concentration camps, while our leaders in collective suicide. Muslim communities are growing and spreading Islam all over the world. Turkey and Iran are taking over our schools and colleges. They are terrorising people in the streets, bending our will, one step at a time, in EuroArabia and the ArabiaUS.
Pestilence is on both sides. Do you have any idea how American culture has taken over the world?
I’ll beleive that when I can get KFC in Bejing, oh wait……
not like there isn’t chinese food all over amerika and europe and god knows where else. had my best chinese food in venice italia and moscow
Culture is a lot more than food. It extends to values and beliefs, which define who we are, not what we eat.
I agree, hence Roman Sandals, and French Love Seats,
We aint just what we eats, but what we wears on our feets and where we parks our seats.. Plato, the Dialogues of Yahoo!!
They are not bending our will, they are steeling it. Tolerance always has limits.
The D did whatever they could to eliminate RFK Jr from the ballots, bc he is threatening them . Nicole Shanahan has the brains, Kennedy has the name. By eliminating this pair the D gained more than Trump winning them. If Trump wins RFK might become a minister in his administration and Nicole Shanahan might replace Caroline Kennedy in Australia, if she donates $10/$20 million to the Trump campaign.
“…By eliminating this pair the D gained more than Trump winning them….”
LMAO. What Kennedy revealed was the democrap party really is the party of CRAP.
Or maybe it’s just me. What I saw yesterday afternoon was a man telling the truth, from the heart. The only recourse of the brain-washing media is to ridicule and lie–KILL THE MESSENGER.
A percent in the battlegrounds could make the difference for The Don IF he lays off committing unforced errors.
Kennedy is the guy to decommission the same CIA that shot his father.
I think you mean his uncle – JFK.
His Dad was also eliminated by MOB FORCES, also known as the CIA.
i believe sirhan sirhan was a christian palestinian who did NOT appreciate RFK pro zion stance. as an aside with no meaning here, probably the 2 nicest human beings i’ve ever met were christian palestinians……..
we don’t care.
I think it was a mob hit that got JFK, not the CIA.
The mob via their union control got him elected and he wasn’t paying them back properly.
A little-known tidbit: JFK wanted the FED dismantled. HMMMM?
Lee H. O. defected to USSR, traveled to their mexican embassy right before the shooting. most evidence points to Castro, a soviet puppet to ordering the hit, as the kenndy’s had tried executing him several times. if you try and kill a tough fella, and botch that (hat tip dumb mafia and CIA), they will come back and kill you. the CIA was tailing LHO and knew the hit was brewing………
I’m sure Castro wanted to kill JFK, but he had no means, he was put into power by the CIA, and they withdrew support when they couldn’t control him. A lot of people wanted JFK dead, but few had the means and the organization to pull off such a scheme without getting caught. The CIA, the Mafia, and vice-president all had the means, the motive and the organization to accomplish it all and to control (and coverup the crime) the investigation, the most important thing for a successful coup.
so a man goes from USSR to mexico city, a hot bead of communism to an embassy a few days before the HIT. sure it was the CIA. okey dokey. the CIA was tailing him but 2 steps brehind. they blew it.
Around this time, the FBI had a cross-dressing blackmailer in charge. The DCI was John McCone, who replaced Allen Dulles, after JFK booted him after the Bay of Pigs.
I doubt McCone had Mob connections, but the crossdresser sure did–plus a hatred for civil rights and communists.
the CIA was not and never has been monolithic in its compostion. There are factions within the CIA, after the CIA was humililated by the Bay of Pigs failure, when Kennedy refused to send in Air Force support, that faction in the CIA was very motivated to kill JFK, I’m sure Dulles knew who those people were, though he no longer helmed the CIA, he still commanded a lot of respect especially from those who could sympathize with each other over there lost causes/loss of power.
There were many mafia who lost businesses, lucrative businesses in the Castro Revolution and wanted them back. The Chicago families helped Kennedy get elected when he stabbed them in the back over Cuba, and then pursuing the mob families thru his brother RFK and the DOJ, it was too much, they decided to help the CIA when the calls were made.
all true, but the CIA and the sicilians bungled hits against Castro. Castro took revenge on the amerikan totem pole head. go to Cuba and learn something everyone there knows. the revolutionary museum in havana is quite fun place. as good as the hermitage in leningrad and the great museums from tokyo to europe and NYC……….amerikans were too embarrassed to admit that Castro got the king……..like a chess game to these sick men.
Castro’s team, couldn’t do things like have the presidential limo removed from Dallas to Detroit and refurbished immediately to hid all ballistic evidence, including replacing the windshield.
Castro couldn’t form the Warren Commission led by Dulles to ferret out evidence and have it destroyed. Castro didn’t profit from Kennedy’s death, unlike LBJ, the CIA and the Mafia, among others.
sorry Castro makes as good as scapegoat as Oswald, but just as unlikely as well.
Dulles had reason to plot, as did Hoover.
And yes, the Mafia/Cosa Nostra was big in Havana. Havana Conference 1946 was the starting point
The mob was frequently employed by the CIA as muscle, CIA didn’t stop using contract killers until the late 1970’s when they killed off a lot of the mob guns that did jobs for them for decades. The jkf killing was likely mob muscle, CIA planning and support, and LBJ provide the place and the leaked Secret Service plans as well as other support. and everbody got what they wanted, the CIA was now unfettered and free to pursue Viet Nam and any other business ops world wide. LBJ got to be president and found out he had no power as the CIA now ran things, so he become an even deeper alcholic.
The Mob well it was a grudge, don’t mess with us. I’m sure it intimidated people in their circle.
the mobsters were mostly nit wits.
Nitwits with guns and bravado, can be quite dangerous. More so than intelligent men with guns and control of their emotions.
LHO went to USSR embassy in mexico city right before the HIT. the mob is mostly uneducated nit wits who beat up weak people in ethnic slums.
NIce comment you got there, be a shame if something happened to it. …The mob worked with the US governement to make sure WWII ships got loaded with priority during the war, since they controled the teamsters. The mob knows how to run a business, I wouldn’t understimate them, they made a fortune in Las Vegas among other ventures.
Kennedy would be wasted. His expertise is clearly in fixing America’s health crisis. JD Vance should be charged with fixing America’s military, Elon Musk would probably jump at the chance of fixing public education…
Trump, if he had a brain, could appoint the most important Cabinet of all time, and Senior Advisors when there aren’t Cabinet posts..
Fixing the CIA? An insider, because no one else could unravel it.
you don’t unravel cancer, you remove it. we are quite well endowed with intelligence agencies – on the order of 16 or 17 of them. The cia should be shuttered, the problem of course is all those loose ends. do they go into the other agencies or are they agents of chaos let loose in the world to sew more wars and violence for money and power?
Good luck on removing it. The CIA was also told to stop Project MkUltra. Wanna bet bitcoin provides funding?
The physical and circumstantial evidence pointed at Oswald. When he was young, the former head of the 6th Floor Museum was a big conspiracy believer. He later came to see that the evidence implicated Oswald, as lone gunman. I got to meet him at the 40th anniversary commemoration.
have you seen the adam curtis documentary. oswald’s USMC best pal before he defected to USSR wrote a novel with LHO as the protaganist hero. watch the documentary. it’s fascinating stuff. no doubt it, castro put the hit out with blessing of USSR. the CIA and mobsters screwed up. just like they bungled the hits against Castro. our CIA couldn’t beat the taliban or iraq. persia won the iraq war. and well we know the taliban has billions of our equipment and kicked our butts out. the CIA are double crossers and many times also incompetent. i went to school with many guys who went into CIA and NSA. i went to NASA and just did some computer cartagraphy gerrymandering with my skills as a young man in early 80s. thank heavens. i dodged a huge bullet.
The evidence points at Oswald because he was designated Patsy, in a coverup you have to lead those satisfied with being told, to a conclusion of your own making. The Warren Commision wasn’t created to solve a crime, it was created to cover up a crime or a a couple hundred of them.
The internet works, because its designed to route around damaged infrastructure. Our reasoning works because we can route around deliberate deception to uncover the truth. Disregard the Warren Report, there are troves of books that cover the things left out or misreported in the Warren report.
Why would you beleive a report written by the government that committed the coup,to tell you there was no coup?
Let’s not forget that 95% of the delegates were Biden-bots chosen from an uncontested primary. This convention was a slick production of the Clinton-Obama-Biden machine with lots of hyped-up enthusiasm.
Kamala’s acceptance speech was basically “Weren’t the last four years great?”
Kamala as the “Joy” candidate seems clueless about the fact that many voters don’t think there’s much to feel joyful about right now. Ukraine? Gaza? The Border? Inflation? Rising unemployment? Please, let’s not discuss real problems.
The speech did little to acknowledge the concerns of the Sanders wing of the party. That was a huge mistake. These voters may just stay home.
Similarly, it did little to appeal to the white working class. The anti-Trump vitriol probably came across as so much virtue-signaling and condescension.
Kamala: “I’ve had only one client all my life, and that’s the American people.” That’s BS because we all know how Kamala got where she is: her client has always been the donors and the Party leadership. Her speech reeked of fealty to the Medical-Insurance complex, AIPAC, Silicon Valley, and the Military-Industrial complex.
In short, her speech and the Convention generally offered little to key segments of the electorate. Politically, it did nothing to broaden the base.
If this is the Democrats’ script for how they’ll conduct the campaign, all Trump has to do to win is focus on the last four years of Biden-Harris and stay on-message.
The response of the media to Kamala makes it clear a ‘positive’ focus will remain on her. She’ll pull a Biden-basement, and the media will carry her to victory
“many may not vote at all.” SPOT ON! As a RFK supporter there is NO way I will ever vote for “Warp Speed Don”! Given his total mishandling of the Covid Hysteria it requires incredible CHUTZPAH for him to even be running. And don’t get me started on vance!!!
A non vote is a vote for Harris – the democrats are infinitely worse for medical tyrrany. With Trump there’s a chance RFK gets a bullet. With Harris it’ll be nothing.
I meant billet not bullet. I hate commenting via phone.
Good clarification- doubt many could mentally auto-correct that one successfully.
Amazing how autofill makes for freudian slips!
I’m sure the NSA will make a note in your file, now that you cleared that up. Still expect the secret service to raid your house and have a long talk with you. better start deleting all your porn and hiding the contraband. Gitmo is beautiful this time of year.
I agree. The whole blame Trump completely for COVID mismanagement is the most idiotic thing someone could say, if they don’t at least include Fauci’s name in the rant. Otherwise, it’s just noise and meaningless opinions. The entire reaction to COVID was a disaster with the biggest issue being the fact that so many Congressmen carried water for China and didn’t lift a finger to hold them accountable.
One of the first things Trump wanted to do was close the US to foreign travelers. The democraps, with Pelosi in the lead, ripped that idea to shreds. It was the one thing that might’ve helped.
The real damage, however, was not caused by Trump, but by censorship. Some by omission, some by lies, most by removing contrary opinions from public view.
FYI, I was advising people about Covid before Christmas 2019. At that point, there were massive sulphur dioxide clouds over Wuhan, and the Chinese were welding apartment building doors sealed.
Actually, bullet works, too. Based on history alone, anyone who stands against the Democrap machine is likely to be shot.
Don’s horrible mess with Covid was what totally turned me off him – but, but, but… I later realized that the first vaccine (thanks in part to his Operation Warp Speed?) was announced right as he was booted out and thought, huh if I had known that sooner…
“The first successful COVID-19 vaccine was announced by Pfizer and BioNTech on November 9, 2020. They reported that their mRNA-based vaccine candidate, BNT162b2, was more than 90% effective in preventing COVID-19 in participants without prior SARS-CoV-2 infection, based on the first interim analysis from their Phase 3 study. This announcement marked a significant milestone in the global effort to develop a vaccine against COVID-19. Subsequently, the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine received emergency use authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on December 11, 2020.”
Hard to blame Trump for the Covid response. The whole world went into lock down minus Sweden. Pretty much every politician everywhere listened to their medical teams.
Also creating a vaccine via Warp Speed was fine especially since older vulnerable people needed it. What wasn’t fine was mandating the vax and ostracizing anyone who didn’t want to take it (including myself). But that didn’t happen under Trump, that was all Biden.
Part of the problem with dealing with Covid is how we deal with uncertainty. In the beginning, Covid was unknown. Decision makers depended on the so-called experts. I won’t comment on that here. The experts laid out a plan based on prior practices, and assumed those practices were valid–basically make a vaccine, and treat the symptoms. Trump rushed to do both.
What didn’t happen? For a start, critical thinking was shelved (not that there is ever very much of it), and conditioned thinking prevailed. Close the schools and nonessential businesses, put older people in rest homes, stand 6 feet apart etc etc etc. Disburse $$$trillions to keep keep everyone happy.
No thought about consequences, of which there were many. NO thought about alternative responses, of which there were also many.
Lots of effort spent in controlling the narrative. It was always about CONTROL.
Now, how much of it was Trump’s fault? How much of it was the end result of 50 years of crappy education, where the only thinking allowed is conditioned by the State?
Trump is entirely to blame for the shut down. It was his call. To assert that everyone else did it is akin to the analogy of everyone else jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge propelled Trump to do the same thing.
It is the job of the president to listen to all advice. Trump took his advice from the wrong people. He didn’t follow the money….
DeSantis on the other hand did listen to medical professionals and didn’t shut down Florida…
Do you seriously believe that the things you don’t like about the way covid was handled (that were actually his doing and not the individual state’s response) were not what the majority wanted? Do you really believe that the majority did not want a vaccine? That the majority did not want massive amounts of money put it into vaccines, vaccine programs, encouraging society to implement social responses and provide massive financial support to the economy to facilitate commercial survival?
Who are you to tell me that when I got Covid after being triple injected it was a nothing burger, means that pacemaker installed, age related C.O.P.D. afflicted me am being hysterical when I say I am positive that I survived the experience because of the vaccine. None as in none of my acquaintances in the same or even slightly better condition as me and got covid before vaccinations survived. Not one. Whatever fatality percentage you believe is the real percentage of covid survival….in my age and medical condition it is assumed that death is an outcome from the original variant. (absent vaccination)
The majority have an average IQ of 100, with a standard deviation of 15–that 66% of the US population lie between 85 and 115. They are essentially self-interested, and believe what they are told by the media and government. That leaves 18% too dumb to think for themselves, and 18% who could think, but most don’t have access to the data.
We tend to forget the mass media, who continued to disparage Trump at every opportunity. Hence Trump was blamed, and even now, still blamed for Covid.
100 is relative and it doesn’t mean what it used to. This link is from 2019 (no, it hasn’t improved in the past 5 years).
https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opinion/iq-rates-are-dropping-many-developed-countries-doesn-t-bode-ncna1008576
Old news, and well known as the Reverse Flynn effect. It likely has to do with our misuse of technology and women’s liberation–smart women who once became the teachers, are not doctors, lawyers, engineers, CEOs etc
Odd theory. Intelligence and being an effective teacher aren’t correlated anywhere near 1:1 so your theory relating to women’s lib is invalidated.
I’d propose it stems from a degrading of nutrition at the individual level and becoming more sedentary. A malnourished mind does not an eager learner make. NGOs preach it for the undeveloped masses but it is just as applicable to all nations. Staring at digital programming for hours on end is soma (Huxley’s version) for too many.
Hindsight is ALWAYS 20-20.
Trump made the fatal mistake of listening to Fauci and not generating greater discussion/input. The assumption that highly paid government employees (and politicians) know, and care about what they are doing is fundamentally flawed.
great insights. the down votes on this maga site should be a great inverse indicator you nailed it. it’s funny mish ain’t maga, but he attracts them like maggots to a corpse…….please please downvote
Presidential politics are really becoming convoluted. I think the Dems really misplayed this one and their arrogance may hurt them in November, we shall see. Trump really seems to be thrashing about since the assignation attempt and the Biden drop out but I expect this to probably get him back on track, we’ll see.
Hope so.
This helps Trump for sure and I’m grateful for it. Big kudos to RFK for seeing the big picture and acknowledging reality. It’s also funny and shameful the rest of his family call it a betrayal. The genuine betrayal has been foisted on us these past four, long years. Harris and her ilk have been a horrible disaster and must be removed from power. It really can’t happen fast enough.
I’m sure RFK’s family have a lot of friends and business contacts within the Democratic Party heirarchy, they kind of have to “pretend” to be horrified at RFK’s action, so they can continue to exist without being shunned.
The Social Recession Is Accelerating
Did wages rise 10-fold to match the 10-fold rise in the cost of a modest house? No. That is social recession in a nutshell.

Max Keiser called for a 75 dollar per hour minimum wage ten years ago to keep wages in line with productivity and, it seems, inflation. That’s 10 times the 7.50 federal minimum wage, so there you go.
When I lived in New Zealand … I recall the owner of a coffee shop telling me that after a 10% hike in wages … coffee shops were forced to raise prices by roughly 10%….
Simply raising wages – without corresponding increases in efficiency… solve nothing .. it just drives inflation higher…a $75 minimum wage would result in a 2M house costing 10M
Now if a barista could make twice as many cups in the same amount of time… then a 10% wage increase would be helpful.
Keiser is Klueless.
At the end of the day the fundamental problem we have is that we have found — and mostly used up … all of the easy resources…. what is remaining expensive to extract and bring to market…
We are indeed doomed. The central banks have been furiously peddling away trying to delay the collapse as long as possible — epic amounts of stimulus including low interest rates and trillions upon trillions of debt.
What cannot continue will stop. Soon.
THE PERFECTSTORM (see page 59) : The economy is a surplus energy equation, not a monetary one, and growth in output (and in the global population) since the Industrial Revolution has resulted from the harnessing of ever-greater quantities of energy. But the critical relationship between energy production and the energy cost of extraction is now deteriorating so rapidly that the economy as we have known it for more than two centuries is beginning to unravel https://ftalphaville-cdn.ft.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Perfect-Storm-LR.pdf
LMAO. What would wages be without a minimum wage?
a) What society owes you as a member
b) Depends on the value of what you produce
c) The government should decide for all jobs and limit min and max accordingly
d) Unions should set wages for each industry
e) Whatever it takes to keep wages in line with productivity (but based on what–because productivity varies by industry, industrialization and so on
Econ-101 – Never raise wages to match inflation Prices, as they are fake prices reacting to Poor Leadership. You raise wages based on merit, and that lifts all boats as they say, because people work harder to produce and Earn their wages, and raises as such. You know based on Merit (ie. Accomplishments, Effort and the likes).
The DNC now resembles a banana republic regime. They look like the puppet governments the USA has set up in countries around the world. They prey on mentally challenged individuals that are incapable of critical thought and create their own version of the truth with bombardment of propaganda. Harris is a slap in the face of every US citizen. Placed in contention via coup and not selected by her party exemplifies how low the US stands.
I do not like Trump and vowed to never vote for someone I couldn’t support. I will vote for Trump this fall because the DNC and Harris are a greater embracement to our nation.
I see the Democrat Party as a mindless giant bureaucracy that is out of control. In that it resembles our government and in certain states such as California, the two have merged into the Leviathan.
I hope Millions follow your lead!!!
The DNC’s actions during primary season in the past 3 presidential campaigns shows that quite well. Harris wasn’t chosen by the party members (and wouldn’t have been given past primary performance and hostility towards her own staff), Biden wasn’t selected on the level (unless one views the primary turnaround and media hype to be organic and valid), and Clinton II is widely known to have benefited from various shenanigans.
Kennedy might be playing his cards well. He gets a chance at shaking things up in some Government Agencies if Trump wins. The Democrats are not the same Party as when President Kennedy was assassinated in the 1960’s. The Democrat insiders of today are not allowing the the party to be run in a democratic manner anymore. Replacing Biden with Harris using a totally non democratic vetting process is the most recent example of the way the party is run today. Kennedy went with the devil he knew which at least gives him a chance for that possible Trump appointment..
Correct. The last time voters matter in the DNC process was Hillary in 2016 since Biden was installed over Bernie in 2020 and now Harris in 2024.
If she wins and then somehow wins again in 2028 it means DNC will have controlled the candidate for 16 years at which point many people will have forgotten that primaries actually matter so the DNC might be able to do anyway with them entirely and just install candidates of their choosing under the guise that the people don’t know enough to choose their leaders wisely.
Voters mattered not in 2016. Clinton II received her chance post-Obama as it was decreed by the DNC

we know the Dem’s will continue the wars, continue the Pharma grift, mandate vaccines for whatever new pandemic the WHO comes up with. Trump will try to end the war in Ukraine and if RFK is part of his administration, Pharma will be in trouble and there will be no new vaccine mandates. Trump is the only sane choice.
The fly in the ointment–and it’s a bid mean fly–is if Trump wins or looks like he will win, they will try to kill him again. And maybe try to kill RFK as well. ‘course, they may just do what they did last time: cheat. They got away with it in 2020, so of course they will do it again if they believe they might lose.
“big fly”, not “bid”
The Kennedy spawn are useless and their comments sound just like the silver spoon in mouth comments from Sam Walton’s family. The black sheep of these families have a better sense of reality beyond their gated communities.
This is the dream ticket. I have long hoped that RFK and Trump would unite. With Vance it could be a perfect triumpforate to place hope for OUR country. We are ready in droves to protect democracy with our votes.
