President Biden’s aides found an additional small number of classified records after searching his residences in Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach, Del., Richard Sauber, Mr. Biden’s lawyer, said in a statement Thursday.

“All but one of these documents were found in storage space in the President’s Wilmington residence garage,” Mr. Sauber said. “One document consisting of one page was discovered among stored materials in an adjacent room. No documents were found in the Rehoboth Beach residence.”

The discovery of the additional batch, which The Wall Street Journal and others reported on Wednesday but hadn’t been confirmed by the White House, came after documents with classified markings were located at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement, the president’s Washington-based think tank, on Nov. 2. 

Asked about the discovery of the latest batch of documents on Thursday, Mr. Biden said the documents had been in a locked garage with his Corvette sports car. “It’s not like they’re sitting out in the streets,” he said.

What a double standard hoot. 

Were Trump’s documents sitting out on the street? In a garage with his Corvette? 

Not to worry, the Biden’s garage was locked. 

But what’s a Vice President doing with classified documents anyway? 

I suspect this will be the end of the Mar-a-Lago discussion by mainstream media.

This whole thing is very fishy. The DOJ is the gestapo of the democratic party. They could have collected these documents and never said a word. They actually did that for months. I always thought Biden’s days would be numbered after the mid terms. The house will launch investigations and the Biden’s are neck deep in dirt. I always thought when the time came, the DOJ would threaten to throw Hunter in jail if Joe didn’t cooperate. There’s enough obvious evidence to put him away for decades. My guess is the plan is for Joe to step down before much damage can be done by the house. if the Biden’s are out, the house investigations are pointless.
And then we’ll replace the worst president ever with someone even worse.

Phew! Luckily Biden is a Democrat. If he was a Republican this would have been an extremely serious security threat, possibly treasonous, and special committees would have to be set up to investigate and make sure it never happens again.

Odd you didn’t mention it, until the SECOND BATCH is found!!!
Communist News Network reported the first batch was found in a envelope marked “PERSONAL”!!!
Meaning Biden was “HIDING” it, it you follow the DEMOCAT logics on Trump!!!
These latest developments proves Trump will not be “CHARGED”!!!!
So what “CLASSIFIED’ documents does other former VP and Presidents have in their possession??

Really? Why? Liberals are shameless. Their native tongues are sophistry and double standards. They will simply ignore this like it wasn’t important. I have already seen them comparing the number of documents as a metric of relative not badness without one peep about the fact that trump had his in a locked room at the advice of the security experts in government. Also the number of docs is unimportant. It’s the content that is important. One document about the US nuclear program back during its development would be more important than a million other classified documents, combined.

The people constantly commenting on Trump are naive enough to believe that somehow “their side” is always righteous and innocent. They don’t seem to realize that the very act of being a Democrat requires a complete dislocation from reality and objective truth. They are the result of post-modern relativistic thought, and I believe a good portion of them suffer from mental illness of varying degrees and shades.

Every single person who handles the nation’s secrets signs the exact same piece of paper acknowledging they have to always follow the very simple procedures for safeguarding the material and that there are no excuses ever for mishandling this information, even inadvertently. “I didn’t know is never a valid excuse.”
Everyone in the media propaganda apparatus trying to create ambiguity for Hillary with her “Homebrew Server” was complicit in denying the simple fact she badly broke the law by intentionally, willfully, purposefully, taking this information off of government machines and networks to hide her criminal pay-to-play schemes and keep her own (likely), criminal message traffic completely hidden in perpetuity for even FOIA requests.
The people at the top are undermining the nation’s security intentionally and breaking the law intentionally. These acts of mishandling information are never accidental, and there is never any ambiguity. You are either 100% compliant with the law, or you broke it. Period.

What should be up for discussion is secret government and classified documents.
Nothing should be classified without being tied to a specific event in the future which would only be in jeopardy if it’s in the future.
Any military details should be kept within the military, they’re not the subject of policy.
Secret government by hidden actors [tyranny] is quite the opposite of rational public debate [democracy]

Uh no. It’s impossible to know what the future holds so you can’t classify based on that. And, a lot of times something that is in and of itself is classified because of the source of the information. Example: how often does Putin change his underwear? I’d venture to say that’s insignificant, but if it became public then that would probably mean US intelligence had infiltrated his household establishment. Consequently, that would probably be classified at above a top secret level.
Of course, secrecy can be abused, no doubt about that.

Curiously, no one has mentioned Hilary’s deliberate setting up of an unsecure private server, confirmed presence of classified information, destruction of 30K-some docs, probable interception by foreign agencies, deliberate destruction of files under subpoena (with additional “bleach-bit” erasure), passing through SOME of the documents for review after her attorneys went through it. All the while Comey concludes ‘no prosecutor would take this’ while ignoring the criminality.

Biden’s lawyers found the documents at Biden’s residence and voluntarily turned them over. Trump carted off boxes of classified documents to Maro Lago and then he and his advisors and lawyers all lied about it. Repeatedly. Sure, let’s have that full and thorough investigation.

Except Trump never lied about it. And had been working with the FBI for months.
And the far more important issue is how secure were the documents? Trumps were in a safe in a highly secured building. Biden’s were in an open garage and at some money laundering operation under the guise of a university library in Georgetown.

NARA looks dysfunctional. Controls over classified docs seem incredibly loose. NARA needs a professional, objective management audit (not a Gym Jordan scream-fest). I assume there are docs at other former Prezzes and veeps. Quayle probably has some in his man-cave with his golf trophies.

I think the FBI is waiting until they demand all documents back, Biden’s people sign acknowledgement it’s all back, and THEN they can go find the illegally withheld documents. The cognitive dissonance in falsely equating these scenarios is pretty notable. Ask yourself, could Biden have burned all the documents and nobody been the wiser? After six years, and no requests for the records, it’s not like the Archives had any clue these docs existed. The only risk Biden’s team took was by doing the honest thing. The only risk Trump took was by doing the DIShonest thing. That should be pretty elementary for everyone to deduce. Please don’t mistake this for making excuses for Biden. Just differentiating between dramatically different scenarios.

had been to Trumps place and went through the documents that were there . He had the power to declassify and that is the
question . Biden has no business with documents and he had no power to declassify has had them for 6 years . In theory
the president has the power to declassify but the question is if the bureaucracy decides they don’t want to are the documents
declassified ? I say yes because the president has the power not the established Gov workers to not do it . In other words
the president can walk to a room full of classified documents and declassify them all and the gov workers are obligated to make it
happen but the documents are declassified even if they don’t because they don’t have the power to override that authority.
Having said that I think it is more Kabuki theatre bought to you by the political establishment .
