The MOU deal is off the table. Trump wants it back but Iran upped demands.
MOU Deal Time Has Come and Gone
The Wall Street Journal reports Trump Thought Opening the Strait of Hormuz Was Imminent. Iran Had Other Plans.
For weeks, President Trump had been laying the groundwork to declare victory in the Iran war should Tehran fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz, even floating the idea privately to senior aides that he’s willing to walk away without a nuclear deal, U.S. officials said.
But that scaled-back objective became more difficult when Iran insisted Saturday on its highest price yet for permitting the free flow of traffic in the waterway, seeking billions of dollars in U.S. payments, the removal of American troops from the region and an end of the U.S. naval blockade, among other things.
This rapid chain of events suggests Trump’s options for walking away from the conflict have again narrowed. Trump has repeatedly threatened—and then backed away from—a massive escalation of its bombing campaign. But the recent chaos in negotiations signaled Tehran is prepared for a long and grinding conflict.
“Iran’s recent hardline demands for reopening the strait make it increasingly difficult for the president to manufacture a face-saving off-ramp from the conflict,” said Mona Yacoubian, director of the Middle East program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a Washington think tank.
Gregory Brew, an Iran expert at the Eurasia Group consulting firm, said, “The Iranians fully believe Trump wants out and is focused on opening the strait, which is why they are playing hardball.”
Now, with less than three months until the midterm elections and the price of gasoline still much higher than it was before the war started in late February, Trump has been looking for ways to tell the American public that the war is won.
Vice President JD Vance told Fox News that the U.S. would continue to pressure Iran to make long-term changes in its relationship with Washington. “And if not, that’s fine, too, we’re just going to keep on applying the pressure we can apply, and getting as much oil and gas out of the Middle East so that Americans can enjoy lower gas and energy prices.”
“We’re in the middle of the game,” Vance said.
Donald Trump Won the War

Middle of the Game
Trump started the Iran war on on February 28, 2026. It’s gone on over five months.
Bear in mind the war was supposed to last a few days, then a few weeks, then 3-5 weeks.
Now we are in the “middle of the game”
Does that mean 5 more months?
Q&A with Grok
Mish: How many times has trump declared he has won the war in Iran?
Grok: Dozens of Times
Dozens of times (with documented counts of at least 12 by late March 2026 and higher estimates of 20–30+ by mid-2026), repeatedly and often while qualifying the statements or as fighting continued.
In the context of the U.S.-Israel military campaign against Iran (Operation Epic Fury, which began around February 28, 2026), President Trump has frequently claimed the U.S. had already won, that objectives were met/exceeded, that the war was over or practically over, or that Iran was defeated/decimated—often in speeches, interviews, press conferences, and social media posts. These declarations occurred amid mixed signals, continued operations, issues with the Strait of Hormuz, and later ceasefires or deals that themselves faced setbacks.
washingtonexaminer.comNotable early examples and counts include:
- March 9, 2026: Remarks that the U.S. had “already won in many ways, but we haven’t won enough,” and that it could be called a “tremendous success right now.” firstpost.com
- March 11, 2026 (Kentucky speech and related comments): “We’ve won… We won. We won… in the first hour, it was over. We won,” while also saying the job needed finishing and that there was “practically nothing left to target.” washingtonexaminer.com
- Additional March statements (e.g., March 12, 15, 16, 24, 26): Claims the war was practically over, Iran was “defeated,” “We’ve won this war. This war has been won,” or that capabilities were obliterated/destroyed. axios.com
Axios documented about 12 instances by late March in which Trump signaled the war was about to end or was already won.
Other contemporaneous reporting (e.g., CNN) described him declaring victory “scores of times” in the early weeks while also qualifying claims or noting more work remained.
USA Today later referenced at least 10 documented claims of victory or decisive success (including PolitiFact’s mid-March tally plus April/June examples).
Later instances continued through ceasefires and negotiations:
- Early/mid-April 2026: Claims of “total and complete victory. 100%,” objectives “already met and exceeded,” and similar language around a temporary suspension of bombing or wind-down efforts. politifact.com
- June 2026 (around a memorandum/deal): Further victory claims as a deal or ceasefire was announced. stimson.org
- July 2026: Continued assertions of military success even amid renewed issues with the ceasefire. washingtontimes.com
One July 2026 compilation listed roughly 30 instances of declaring the war over or claiming victory across the roughly five months to that point.
Exact totals vary by how broadly “declared he has won” is defined (direct “we won” language vs. “objectives met,” “defeated,” “success,” “over soon,” etc.) and because statements often mixed victory claims with notes that more action was needed. No single authoritative final tally exists as of the latest available reporting, and the pattern of repeated claims persisted alongside ongoing or intermittent conflict.
Amusingly, we are now in the middle of a war that Trump has won dozens of times.

Iran’s Demands
Yesterday, I commented Iran Issues Six Demands on the US to Re-Open the Strait
Grok Translation
In the Name of God, the Exalted Until America corrects its behavior, the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened. Correcting its behavior means:
- Never threaten Iran in any language and never insult the sanctities of this nation.
- Permanently end the war and aggression against Iran and Iran’s allies in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, and Iraq.
- Lift the naval blockade and withdraw its military forces (naval and air) from around Iran.
- Fully and completely pay the damages of the two aggressive and imposed wars against Iran.
- Lift the oppressive and illegal sanctions against the Iranian nation.
- Unconditionally release the blocked and stolen assets of the Iranian people.
These are the demands of the mobilized people of Iran, who have been shouting them during one hundred and sixty days of relentless presence in the squares and streets.
The Supreme National Security Council will never back down, whether in war or in negotiations.
Mohammad-Bagher Zolghadr
Secretary of the Supreme National Security CouncilA deal isn’t near and won’t be until there is total capitulation by Trump.
Iran Toys with Trump
“Iran’s recent hardline demands for reopening the strait make it increasingly difficult for the president to manufacture a face-saving off-ramp from the conflict,” said Mona Yacoubian, director of the Middle East program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a Washington think tank.
Iran wants to sucker a US into war or at least toy with Trump until the midterm elections.
That’s what the increased demands are all about.
In March, I stated Iran’s primary goal was to inflict as mush pain as possible on Trump.
They have succeeded.
Trump’s last best out was the MOU. Trump blew that deal up. Trump blows up nearly every deal about anything. He always demands more until the other side finally says FY.
Well Iran’s demands are that big FY.
Trump would love to have that MOU deal back on the table, but that chance is gone, destroyed by himself.

Now the Dummy wants reparations?! We need to give him to Iran. We should hand trump over to Iran immediately if we ever want lower gas prices and any respect on the world stage
What has Iran ever done to you?!?
– What changes if the US refuses Iran’s demands? Nothing. > Exactly!
>> Maybe with this set up Trump can stay quiet. That would be the best negotiating he could possible do. Keep the blockade in place, and “The Key” here is to use “Irans Frozen Assets” to repay what they charge any/all ships passing through. They may get money eventually, but it’s there’s and once gone, it’s gone forever.
> Hezbollah, Gaza’s etc. will wish they didn’t help out, but Israel will take care of all of that gladly.
– The IRGC will not be able to ship its oil, and therefore will not be able to pay its troops or the Basij. > This will be a crossroads for Iran, that they can’t touch. They would be done if it occurs.
>>> No money, no oil to sell, massive inflation and what’s going on with food? “IF” Trump can stay quiet, and that’s a huge IF, then a clear answer is right there in front of him. We can wait them out with lower oil cost if we can keep them low. They have nothing that will allow them to wait, once this all hits them, and will be forced into surrendering or made to at some point or die waiting…
When it comes to “..Trump can stay quiet.” … that word you keep using, “I do not think it means what you think it means” … For me, I say “Death First”.

Princess Bride quotes
Yes indeed I do, and it’s to stay “Quiet Verbally” during negotiations he is no longer a part of, hopefully.
My pain has been his yapping every time Iran says anything, as he feels he must do so. That needs to stop!
Not with Fox News taunting him for more war!
Plus Trump can’t control himself.
not all zionists are joooooooos. but some are.
“IF” Trump can stay quiet, and that’s a huge IF, ” you do realise that you can get rid of all these IF’s for 1 if?
If Trump was competent we wouldn’t be in this mess. That’s what you whole post boils down to. You realize he’s incompetent you just want to make excuses.
But the win for trump is the epstein files lost the momentum they had that started the war. when you pay more at the pump or bury a solder or contemplate the death and destruction this was has caused just remember it was done so billionaires could molest children and not be punished for it.
It was NOT JUST billionaires! Some of the Epstein Class are mere centimillionaires, paupers, basically!
Don’t they get to molest children, too?
Obama had a far better deal signed and verified, plus he kept the Strait open without risking nuclear proliferation.
And Obama could string words together and form a coherent sentence.
obama should have been on trial in hague for war crimes in libya. that was as brutal as zion’s genocide and famine.
This war is simply another religious nightmare.
Our involvement violates the First Amendment. I say pul out, end all military support and let them fight it out. We have nothing to gain by promoting one theocracy over another in the Middle East.
Trump was wrong to declare victory so many times, but he was probably relying on military reports of damage done to the enemy etc. I think trying to count the number of times he said it betrays a mind fixated on numbers to an unhealthy degree.
I assume that Trump is aware of the upcoming elections, and is factoring them into his strategic considerations. I hope Six000MileYear (below) is right in his suggestions.
Obviously there is more work to be done to ensure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz. If Persia persists in pursuing its religious aims, there will have to be further action down the track to destroy, again, its modern missiles and atomic bombs. For the time being, I assume the recent military action will have set the Persian program back a few years.
To me, all these Persian demands sound like bravado. They can’t really expect America to pay them reparations or make sweeping promises about never attacking them again. And to suggest that the West mustn’t say anything unkind about them ever again is taking censorship even further than our corrupt authorities have already taken it. I don’t think the Western public are ready for that yet. You have to have some sort of superficially appealing emotional reason to override people’s rights and impose censorship.
And in the meantime, I know markets can make mistakes, but usually when there are a lot of inexperienced players making the running. Are the inexperienced people all diving into the oil market and selling futures? Because unless the market is being led by silly people, there doesn’t seem to be much reason for concern about oil shortages.
I think Iran can go a lot further to embarrass Trump, and probably will to ensure no future US president decides to have a go.
So many options, I’d be tempted to take Kuwait’s oil fields. He’d lose what remains of his faculties.
Iran is def sticking the knife in and twisting it. And who can blame them!
Trump started this war with a lot of goals:
Instead, Trump has demonstrated:
Trump’s new goal:
Iran’s Demands:
The longer this goes on, the more Iran will gain and the more the US will lose.
Counterpoint: Epstein who?
100% the whole reason the molester and thief said yes to bibi
The war against Iran is getting so embarrassing that the Orangutan might release the Epstein files to distract the populace from his defeat by Iran.
Great summary!
The tone of your article seems to exude happiness at the demise of the US position in the world due to president Trumps missteps. Our country will suffer significant disgrace from this war for the foreseeable future. I wish it never happened and that we could somehow get out now and try to save face in some way. It is laughable however that any election of others will erase this stain so try not to be so gleeful in the fall from grace our country is suffering.
We as Americans had best pray that there is no God and that He is not just, for if ever were a collective punishment justified, then surely we are in for a big one.
Don’t worry , no god, never was never will be.
Please quote the part of the article where Mish is celebrating the demise of America’s position in the world.
The only non-factual, editorial commentary Mish puts in was one word, “Amusingly..”
Which was in reference to the irony of Trump’s flip-flopping, irony being a significant source of humor in any situation, including this one.
You have significantly overestimated the offense on this one, fellow anonymous blog commenter.
The US is reaping what it sows and votes for – self serving fantasies.
“Demise” and “falling from grace” are the natural antidote to arrogance, ignorance and lack of humility
just like the butchering of our currency (inflation) this demise is going to go on for a while
We deserve far worse than what we are getting.
It’s clear from your post that reading is not your specialty – so I will try to use small words you u r sure to understand
Only Fools voted for this republican admistration.
Iran just lit up another tanker in the strait.
This means they are begging for a deal.
You can smell the desperation in the air. Unfortunately, it is emanating from Pennsylvania Ave.
trump is a reality teevee star in a fictional plot, that the hicks in iowa in 2015 and 2016 thought was the real thing. the rest is eyewash. he’s our caligula. thanks to the dumbfucks in flyover country.
Many countries would like to distance themselves from the USA. Unfortunately the US version of the doomsday device is the dollar and its denominated debt. Youse go down, we go down too. If the US could ever get a government capable of gently discharging this it might give us all a soft landing. Not likely to emerge any time soon.
Lie down with dogs, rise up with fleas.
Many believe dealing with Iran will impact the US November elections. Students of Socionomics know mood, not events shape history. Socionomics fundamentally rejects the if-then mechanical analysis of human-emotion systems.
A HUGE election signal appeared this week. The Billboard Hot 100 songs set a new record: All 5 top spots were from the country genra. The last time country music was that popular was when the Dot-com bubble was still inflating.
Country music signifies conservatism (no change in leadership), strong gender roles (good-bye LGBTQ+ from the front page news), and patriotism (communist-Marxist will be in shock at the upcoming election losses). Taylor Swift’s shift back to country music is a big tell as well since she rode pop to the top and got out before mood shifted. The Beatles kept their career going by changing their sound to match social mood.
The stock markets remain near all-time highs, which also traditionally gives incumbents and their party an advantage. With 3 months until election day, it would take a crash in social mood to crash markets and elect communist-Marxists.
whoa there cowboy! middle Missouri (big country music fans) SOUNDLY defeated amendment 4 and 5 this last Tuesday. 5 would have gotten rid of the state income tax
Both amendments were strongly touted by the (out of touch) conservatives in Jeff City but they still failed Also from what I see on social media a lot of gay bars play the latest country music; not all queers are flaming nor liberals . It comes down to bread and butter issues And unless you can extrapolate how the booming stock market benefits the “little guy” its a moot point
and thank you for pointing out the Beatles for country music is doing the same appealing to kinky bisexuals line dancing homosexuals closeted Mormons bible thumping evangelicals and negro spiritual But if your reaching for MAGA country music than lets get back to flats and scruggs and get rid of all of this repetitive country crap of today!
YMCA is still the song of MAGA. the homosexual theme song. no wonder we have lost every war since 1945. no offense to lesbians or the gays.
The lesbians and gays the loser ass military didn’t and doesn’t want serving? And who’s “we”? You’re 100% a first language slavic language speaker and iirc are Russian by birth.
“I get my news based on what’s playing on the radio no one listens to anymore because of internet radio”
I don’t have anything witty to say given how absolutely, positively retarded this comment is. No notes, 10/10.
Billboard hasn’t been relevant since you purchased your music on “compact disc” in “record stores “, gramps.
If I were Trump I would hire General Jojo, and then invade and conquer Iran.
Long as Keyboard Rambo is on the first assault helicopter.
It would be a sick kind of fun to watch Jojo in hand to hand combat with the average Iranian.
Like watching a yapping Poodle vs an angry Pit Bull.
Lotsa noise until the death grip commences.
I am not so sure Trump would love to have that MOU deal back on the table, that would require common sense, indicate defeat for America, defeat for Trump, and make it virtually impossible for Trump to avoid taking responsibility for all the economic and foreign policy damage that will take generations to repair. Rather than admit he is not the best president the country has ever had, in his words even better than Washington or Lincoln, he will keep dragging the country deeper into war and poverty. That is not the mark of a statesman, it’s foolhardy brinkmanship and abusing power of the presidency.
it’s foolhardy brinkmanship and abusing power of the presidency
and the treasury (I know our deficit treasury!)
They’ll have him doing the truffle shuffle while singing out “I’m a little piggy oink oink oink” before this is over.
At this point Punxsutawney Phil would be more accurate at predicting the end of the Iran War than Trump.
But I also see there’s a potential localized replacement possible “Pakastani Phil”!
Meanwhile the Iranians and their friends, namely Russia, China, and North Korea are sharing notes and arming up further. The Iranians are reportedly still shipping drones to Russia because they have and make so many. Iran is getting god knows what from the others. Reportedly N Korea is supplying Russia with medium range ballistic missiles of late.
Reports are intact latest tech drones of US and Israel manufacture were recovered by Iran. You can best believe the team is busy reverse engineering any new tech in them.
Attacking Iran like we and Israel did on Feb 28 was a colossal FU. We are all gonna pay thru the nose for it for years.
There’s no way China is going to let Russia & Iran lose their wars, and China is to 21st century arms manufacturing what the USA was once upon a time during WWII. And it sounds like we’re going to start manufacturing “Trump-class battleships,” similar to how the UK manufactured the Dreadnought at great expense, only for it to be obsolete by the next war. Naval experts say the only ships in modern naval warfare are submarines and targets. A Trump-class battleship wouldn’t be a submarine, so that sort of narrows it down. But at a cost of a trillion dollars, this battleship project would make some Epstein class people rich, which is the primary objective of the US armed forces anyway.
Russia produces more than enough drones of many designs — not much Iran could add to their industrial capability — outside of trading some design and fabrication ideas, and results of tests. N Korea is not there to help the Russians with missiles, but to test their own. N Korea has supplied shells.
As for N Korean military, they ar there to train and observe and will likely be put to good use as reconsonstruction brigades.
Every country that has not been blindfolded by ideology is observing, noting lessons, and applying them. In a world ruled by force of arms nothing else is to be expected.
LOL
Iranian demands have been remarkably consistent since the US started to beg for a ceasefire. Nothing new, really.
They are perhaps a little more insistent on up front compliance to the document Trump signed in Versailles.
The ignoramuses ‘in charge’ think they’re in a ‘game.’
No lies detected in this post
TRUMP is so over it’s beyond comprehension
– BREAKING: Iran has rejected any chance of reopening the Strait of Hormuz, declaring it will remain closed until the U.S. meets all its conditions, meaning $300 billion in compensation, release of frozen assets, a ban on U.S. and Israeli vessels, and probable 7% transit fees.
> That would be a clear victory for Iran. >> They get to control & Profit from a waterway that was always freely maneuvered through. That’s a huge black eye for Trump, and especially since Trump said He would control the Strait, but instead Trump is now being literally controlled by Iran, and They will still control the Strait too.
– Bessent Looks Like an Idiot > A puppet is all, and an unwise one at that.
>> I have been saying this for awhile, and that’s for “Trump to STFU!!! Iran has been and continues to play upon his vulnerabilities. Trump gets scammed by broken promises, due to his nativity. He gets bullied Repeatedly into actions otherwise not done by a strong & sane Leader, and he is a liar about things over and over again, simply proving Trump is incapable of leading most anything, except a retreat perhaps, or maybe he will pull a Biden, and just get up and leave quietly, and give Iran everything they want, just so they can play Trump one more time! Sadly, if Trump try’s to do anything else at this point, Trump will simply look dumber and dumber and still just as Stupid!!!
Trump now says he is “only semi-negotiating” with Iran (of course, the reality is Iran is not talking to him at all). Axios says he claimed that Iran was in “very bad shape”, pointing to soaring inflation and said it could not afford to pay its soldiers. “It will work out. It always works out. It’s like a chess game,” Trump said. “We are low-keying it.”
This is Trump’s standard bluff, driven by the US blockade and Bessent’s efforts to wreck the Iranian economy from behind the scenes. Like all real estate salesman, he believes you have to create urgency in the other person and make them think you can wait forever and then they will crack first. He is trying to appear calm with a high degree of confidence, because he thinks that is how winners act.
He is wrong, Iran now knows his routine and ignores it. It won’t be long before Trump will resume screaming about ending Iran’s civilization again. His desperation is growing by the day.
– He is wrong, Iran now knows his routine and ignores it.
> Exactly! They have been and will continue too! They just open their mouth, and Trump has to speak and then simply look stupid once again. He has stupidity down pat!
“Wreaking things from behind”….Scott’s modus operandi
he is one fucked up buckaroo. a demented pillow biter. did he breast feed his children, or was that his husband?
Yeppers….something I will never understand, the idea that I need to put another mans……BEEEEEEEEEEP
Did he really mention the game of chess while talking about his strategy playing the Persians? Too funny.
“Trump now says he is “only semi-negotiating” with Iran…”
This is correct. There is no agreement Iran can reach that will satisfy Israel. Therefore, Trump never was serious about any negotiations, and never intended to abide by the terms of any agreement.
1.) Recall The Orange Ape began saying “Nothing short of Unconditional Surrender is acceptable”. Lots of luck with that!
2.) If you haven’t heard this REAL Long Term Expert on Iran he is the man. Been bang on and consulted PREVIOUS Presidents (I.e. Bush) who didn’t naively think they already know everything. Published days before the War started exactly what has happened.
He’s a leading Iran & modern warfare expert, interesting and insightful: Professor Robert Pape

1.) Recall The Orange Ape began saying “Nothing short of Unconditional Surrender is acceptable”
> Maybe Trump was simply speaking about himself, in the third party of course, as he isn’t that far gone yet, I don’t think…
Trump has backed himself into a corner, he cannot get out of, short of using Nukes, and that’s not happening. Stick a fork in the Trumpster, and go get a Real and True Negotiator in there!!
Trump has always told people what he wants them to think he is, rather than what he is. It is always a sales pitch. He told them he was the greatest dealmaker of all time. On the facts today, he is demonstrably among the worst. He can only bully his way. He has no sense of a win-win deal, ever. It’s all zero-sum, winner or loser to him. Now he is eating that. That’s because he only knows how to take, not to constructively make. It colors all his perception. He is so suspicious of people like Canadians, it is big comedy. Now somebody actually is taking him for a ride for once (due to his blunders), and he can’t call it what it is. he is a fraud from his hairpiece to his Florsheims.
nukes won’t solve this predicament. in fact it will only make usa and israel way more vulnerable to attacks………
The entire area, land and sea, would be radioactive and useless. The sickness that would follow and the death and destruction would be off the charts. Not an option, as I stated, unless you want to close the entire area off for all of there lifetimes…
There is nothing for Iran to negotiate. They know the USA will always try and kill their leaders and people no matter what terms are negotiated. The US is the sleaziest country on the planet. The only way Iran can keep the animals at bay is to shutdown the Strait. They have no choice, it’s the only way they can keep their children safe from the Republicans.
It will stay shutdown, until Trump comes back to the table with his tail between his legs begging them too. I can only imagine what he will have to give them, and he may be forced to.
The closure and no control over its reopening was Trumps biggest miss and mistake. What he thought would happen, didn’t . Unfortunately he had no back up plan, or answer to the word “No”.
Now he sits waiting for Iran to cave from the pressure, but they don’t live glorious lives like American Politicians do. They won’t be missing anything necessary for them.
Americans are already complaining, and demanding the necessities they are missing. They can’t stand to live without. The Iran people are not so shallow, and in need of such luxuries as Americans have. While true, once you have them, they are missed when gone. I don’t believe that fits for most Iranians…
Winning!
“Pentagon asks defense companies to ramp up production as stockpiles run low during Iran war”
Has he asked the Chinese pretty please for all those rare earths we need to build our critical advanced weaponry?
That rare-earths fiasco was the most under-emphasized TACO of all. Except Iran.
PAC-3 missiles are made by hand. They can ask all they want – to little avail.
If I were Trump, I would unequivocally accept the Iran’s demands and walk away. The longer we stay the worse the demands will get, the more humiliating it will be for the US military and people, and the greater the destruction to the GOP.
I think they are putting it to trump and the republican party. Similar to the hostages during the carter admin. Even though the carter admin got the release they did not land until Regan took office. And the credit.
If thats the plan is it the midterms/ trump dies in office/ trumps term ends / or dem impeach.
raygun, like nixon were the ultimate pricks regarding lying about hostages and peace plans……..seems like old donald is cut from the same jib.
The US is wasting time and resources in overseas conflicts, National security should be built on domestic strength, specifically by securing our power grid and reducing global oil dependence. We have the technology, tools, solar, wind, advanced battery storage, nuclear power to make this happen.
We have the wrong people in place to make this happen.
correction. we have the wrong people in the usa to make this happen. pro tip. democracy works. if people wanted peace and prosperity they would vote for that and get that.
A good half the country prioritizes hurting immigrants and forcing Evangelical Christianity (aka Satanism) on their fellow Americans to ever be concerned about prosperity.
Israel would not permit this. Trump is Isreal’s little bitch.
My memory must be bad but the original MOU was in place when the Uraniums® hit that Singapore flagged tanker. Doesn’t matter, just trying to remember the chain of events that started after the MOU (we all agree what started the need for the MOU).
This was never gonna hold. Drones have rendered 2 of the 3 superpowers neuterered unless/until they opt to use a stepped-up asymetric response of their own, reveal new, technologically-advanced weaponry or <insert massive escalation method here>.
Now, could there be a massive escalation, given the proxies for Iran acting badly again yesterday? Maybe. Interesting that the anti-American bloggers seem to miss Hezbollah and Houthis = Uraniums® in the same manner that those same entities threw Lebanon into the mix in the original MOU to cover said proxies, thus admitting their nasty tentacles are in various parts of the region and seemingly able to act violently outside of any MOU.
I predict I have no earthly idea where things go but it will not be as simple as walking away as if it never happened…for either side. What has been surprising is the autopilot nature of the stock markets, the American consumer and this CR-led government that can continue unidirectionally without any constraint like a pesky budget. Methinks if there had to be fiscal restraint without the Fed financing the budget deficit that a whole lotta nonsensical crap would stop. Since that isn’t in the cards anything literally can happen.
Anything.
Beginning of WW3. As much as everyone here wants to walk away from this it’s not going to end until radical Islam is eliminated. Walking away will embolden these people. Good riddance.
How about “radical Christianity or radical Judaism”?
Are they OK?
Bunch of kooks, the lot of ‘em.
they believe without doubt 2000 year old bullshit stories without a shred of actual evidence just rumor and hearsay.
That’s a brilliant response.
Super analysis. I’m all on board with your objective to “eliminate radical” islam. The way they let themselves be attacked while they were negotiating is abonimable. So now that we have an objective, a minor matter remains; how will we achieve it?
Iran is asking for more. That generally happens when one side knows the other is weak. Iran can let this go on for years if necessary. The US has 3 to 5 more months at the most. So ya, Iran 40, the US Zero. The only thing for Trump to do is pack up and go home and let the adults in the room solve this. With the US out of the picture the issues can be solved a lot more quickly.
The underhanded, dishonorable attack and mass assassination by US-Israel likely produced a unity and attitude in Persians similar to what 9/11 produced in Americans.
It’s starting to sound like “Oh PLEASE don’t throw me in the briar patch!”
I’d say there’s a tar baby in the story too.
I care about my country, obviously, but seeing this orange clown get slapped around in direct proportion to his willfully ignorant hubris and lunging poor calls, brings a bit of consolation and rueful mirth. That is not the same as saying I have confidence in the voting public for November, or Trump’;s potential wild moves (and SCOTUS deference), or many of the pretenders who claim they can fix things. But I’ll go for the least bad, sure.
The thing to really worry about is that at some point in the future (next decade or so) we (meaning whole world) are all going to have to clean this mess up and the bill (time and money) keeps on growing.
This country deserves to get slapped around.
Taco is being played like a fiddle due to his lack of a backbone and spine. It is all about trump and his family as little else matters.
Not so sure. Remember he’s the front man only and will be replaced by another front man eventually, doesn’t really matter who is in the office. What is really happening is the Anglo-Zionists (i.e. Rothschild & Co.) are having their teeth kicked in, respectively the ones of Israel’s military arm with the world watching. A couple of hundred years; of British empire followed by Freemason’s US rule now running into serious issue due to their own stupidity. At the same time full overlap with the constructed major global crisis to implement NWO with enslaved western population and the rest of the story.
Interesting times, to say the least.
