Here’s the exact translated demands.
Iran Six Demands
Grok Translation
In the Name of God, the Exalted Until America corrects its behavior, the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened. Correcting its behavior means:
- Never threaten Iran in any language and never insult the sanctities of this nation.
- Permanently end the war and aggression against Iran and Iran’s allies in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, and Iraq.
- Lift the naval blockade and withdraw its military forces (naval and air) from around Iran.
- Fully and completely pay the damages of the two aggressive and imposed wars against Iran.
- Lift the oppressive and illegal sanctions against the Iranian nation.
- Unconditionally release the blocked and stolen assets of the Iranian people.
These are the demands of the mobilized people of Iran, who have been shouting them during one hundred and sixty days of relentless presence in the squares and streets.
The Supreme National Security Council will never back down, whether in war or in negotiations.

A deal isn’t near and won’t be until there is total capitulation by Trump.
Where Things Are Now
NYT
On Board the USS Lincoln
In the Navy
Right now, more than 5,000 sailors and Marines are stuck aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln in the ninth month of a deployment that was supposed to last seven, supporting military operations against Iran that Congress never authorized.
Their families are begging someone to listen.
Moldy showers, broken toilets, no hot water for weeks, meals that came down to half a cup of rice and two tortillas.
A ship’s store out of soap, deodorant, and toothpaste.
Sailors so worn down that, according to one family member, the ship’s own doctor warned they need to reach port soon or people are going to start losing their minds.
Back in April, when families first raised the alarm, Pete Hegseth dismissed the reports as fake news. These are the people we ask to serve in one of the most dangerous workplaces on Earth, the flight deck of a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier.
They, and their families, deserve answers.

Iran Blasts a Ship Escorted by US Fighter Jets

Yesterday, I asked Iran Blasts a Ship Escorted by US Fighter Jets. Is the Strait Open?
All week, Trump and Bessent said a deal was imminent, another pack of lies.
No, the strait isn’t open.
I said in March that Iran’s goal was to inflict as much pain on Trump as possible, regardless of cost to Iran.
Trump had an out with the MOU and F’d it up.

Things are going pretty much as planned by the empire as currently causing much more short term problems for the rest of the world than the USA.

Let it ride itself out ….pass it on to AOC , she will will fix it in 2 years when she is president. Iran will do what she says😘
81 years ago the first pair of nuclear bombs were used.
How soon before they are used again?
Who will use them first?
I see Israel kicking off the fireworks, though maybe they persuade Trump to do it.
They’ve already told us (just the past week, again) that they are changing doctrines not just to enable first-strikes, escalate to de-escalate, low threshold tactical nukes, low yield gravity devices … no, they want first use nukes to pre-emptively shape the battle field.
In other words, nukes to substitute for lack of conventional ammo which has been exhausted.
if nukes are used in mideast, israel loses. those are rich people and they will leave israel in more droves than is occurring already. nuke fall out is real. and russia and china will perhaps nuke zion outright.
Probably on the table which is why Iran should take out the five Israel desalinization plants.

sorry mish you keep avoiding the 800lb gorilla in the room. democray works. always has since the greeks and iroquois invented it. the vast majority of amerikans are warmongering world wide imperialists. this is just an ugly reality most folks cannot handle. you live in an empire of assholes who vote for assholes to do asshole things. democracy works. it’s that simple. but too ugly for most to handle. i do like your analysis of most things. you just miss the 800lb gorilla.

well the romans, my people, lasted almost 2000 years as a warmongering imperial democracy
iroquois lasted a few thousand years. here in upstate NY they still are around. probably will be here when the pax amerikan empire dissolves in future centuries. greeks still are around and a banana republic form of demoracy.

I’m not shedding any tears for these sailors, although I’m a veteran. They signed up for this job, it’s on them. My generation was forced to serve (at $3/day), plenty of room for complaints there. IMHO, no person with a brain should join the military. I wish I had had the money to buy a doctor to say my foot was sore (Trump) or that I had allergies (Biden). There is nothing worse than militarism, it’s a shame our esteemed leaders don’t understand this.
100%.
If you signed up and joined the US military after 2003, that is entirely on you.
The military was always the way to escape poverty for southern, white boys. You got to learn some discipline and hopefully learn a skill useful in the private sector. You also got to feel a little proud because people told you that you were serving your country and Mom had a “My son in in the Army!” sticker on her SUV. There was always some associated danger, but nothing like the danger of growing up a meth-head in some small Mississippi town trailer park.
Check out the suicide rates, homelessness and drug addiction or alcoholism veterans gravitate to. I’m lucky, I avoided those things, but they are common for veterans. Most lifers are alcoholics, I’ve met three-star generals with drinking issues. The military is a horrible institution, and militarism is not the way for a civilized country.
unjust wars will make anyone with half a brain into a drunk or addict or depressed asshole.
we’re still not honest about what the military is. whether you load the bomb or pull the trigger. you’re murdering people for the elite so you can escape poverty. you’re responsible for mass murder since vietnam afaik.
I know not to attack vet’s directly, but if you’re a responsible for murder, we as a civilization should be open to at least admit what we’re doing is wrong.
also military discipline is different from emotional and freedom discipline. you might be able to make your bed and polish your shoes, but can you deal with your feelings?
Can you function without a mission given to you?
History usually indicates when there was insufficient national defense.
the last righteous war amerika was in was ww2. we became an empire of assholes. just cut through the BS. makes life so much clearer.
“…it’s a shame our esteemed leaders don’t understand this.”
They understand just fine. They don’t care.
Even IF they understood all of this, they would not CARE!
Of course they care about their own hide. I saw the republic nearly split from the Vietnam war, driving LBJ from office. Nixon regressed into alcoholism and paranoia while DC threatened to burn. Today, the Trump crime family are afraid to stick their nose in public given Iranian death threats. I doubt if they care about the voters or their kids in the military, but they do care.

1 – “a large-scale and precise” operation targeting Saudi enemy troops and weapons depots in the Mocha area, Red Sea.
2 – Attacked and caused major fires at the Saudi Aramco facility in Jizan.
So as of right now, Iran and its proxies have seized the initiative and instead of reacting to or retaliating against US attacks, are conducting major offensive operations themselves.

Lol. Every passing day shows Trump’s failure. Speaking of days, 895 left in this failed administration and only 86 till midterms. Time flies when you’re losing…
Do worry, Trump, Walrus, GOP, and democrats will find a way to make things even worse.™
According to Jojo, that actually didn’t happen, because he couldn’t find it on NYT, CNN, WaPo or a Centcom statement. Imagine going through life like that – and then braying about “Iranian propaganda”. There are none so blind as those who will not see.

This is nothing new. This is not a revelation. The US military has known this to be true for years. But since Trump does not read intelligence reports, he needs to be reminded in different ways.
I continue to be amazed at the effectiveness of the Houthis as a fighting force

Well that is a non starter. Two day war almost a half a year now. Waiting for them to get serious and address the real problem by destroying the desalinization plants in Israel.
Carrier deployment extension is pretty routine for the navy. Interesting not crying about the battle group as a whole. Right place at the wrong time posting. They have supply ships to address all those issues except the port visits for a break.
Captain Daniel J. Keeler will probably advance to admiral.
also we just killed like 200 school girls and murder people frequently in our war of aggression against iran. before crying about your job they should be grateful they’re not lying in rubble.
Unfortunately, the more desperate Trump gets, the more likely he’s gonna listen to the C- people who say it is time … take control of the Army and every Federal employee with a gun, shut down the Internet, and ascend the throne. Very dangerous with a cartoon for a king/prez.
This should be a done deal as taco has thrived on “capitulations.”
but, but, the President of the United States told us that Iranian pipeline would EXPLODE in three weeks…. two months ago. He wouldn’t lie, would he???
What an embarrassment!
It didn’t explode because we won that war 4 times during that 3 weeks.
Trump has won 85 of the last 3 wars.
When you consider the language and tone used. They are coming from a different place than they have been.
This doesn’t sound like somebody who’s trying to find a compromise to end the war. This sounds like somebody who’s going to consider ending the war if the following conditions are met. That’s the guy who believes he’s winning.
Now look at the language and tone used by America. America does sound like a country that’s winning the war. For me, this sounds like someone forced to try and bluff there way out of an uneven fight.
When people start talking about Russia and China getting in on this. Seriously, we really don’t have the cards.
Does not help that morale may be plummeting everywhere and not just the one aircraft carrier.
We’ve already lost. We just don’t know by how much. I believe there are people in the military, of all ranks, that also know we have already lost.
Just like this did in Viet Nam. Isn’t that annoying?

Trump got us there faster than in Vietnam. He obliquely and ignorantly referred to that, sort of. A blessing in disguise? Until you think, this might not be a Vietnam, it might be a Munich.
The Abraham Lincoln thing is a bit weak-kneed in the context of Ukranian troops spending upwards of a year in foxholes with artillery and drones trying to kill them every day.
As to Trump – he is a fool, always has been. This is only a shock to those (the majority) who have a hard time remembering events of even 10 years ago.
Those Ukrainians are not volunteers, but press-ganged conscripts, with blocking troopd at their backs.
If you read the Ukrainian press, you would also know that those who can, often desert.
I would. Hooray Ukraine and all, but I’m not inclined to get maimed and/or killed over it.
It varies greatly by regiment, but at least some are like that. Remnants of Soviet thinking.
A hallmark meme of mindless propaganda.
UA is controlled by a death cult.
That is false – there are thousands of volunteers, Ukranians and foreign nationals.
So that must be why Ukrainians are press-ganged.
And yes, Ukraine uses mercenaries in large numbers, and in addition, neonazis from all over have flocked to Ukraine.
If nazis are dying on the battlefield, I count that as a plus.
Agreed, but mostly it’s the conscripts dying, nazis behind them to prevent retreat or surrendering.

The difference is this war is 100% a war of choice and blackmail/bribery. There is no reason to have a carrier there in the first place, much less having a crew suffering for months on end when there are almost a dozen carriers in the fleet and there should be steady rotations (as is normal). I served onboard the USS Constellation and we were in the Gulf pummeling Iraq (without cause, in retrospect, and I’m glad I didn’t know that back then).
The main point of the “Abraham Lincoln thing” is that the prolonged deployment of the carrier shows how asset constrained the US military is.
Most of the US bases in the Gulf have been pounded by Iran, making US air operations more difficult and increasing the reliance on an already over stretched carrier that is way past due the end data of its current tour of duty.
It shows Iran how few military options the US has.
To me it shows that the DoD has again failed to understand what is neeeded, what is not. Did nobody think when these ships were designed that this might be reasonably expected in war time? Do they think a conflict with China will be over in a week?
On virtually every level this conflict has exposed both military planners and their congressional cohorts who fund them as not up to the job.
Their 6 requirements seem reasonable to me. Iran has been bullied by the West and Israel for decades. Trump pushed them to find their one ace-in-the-hole. It’s all they have to obtain a degree of justice.
They are dealing with a country that “double tap” bombed a girl’s school. Then lied about it. Then refused apologize, much less compensate the families in any way.
They are dealing with a country that sucker-punch assassinated the leaders of the country while they were negotiating. And the leaders’ families. They are dealing with a country that is too much Israel’s bitch to have any honor.
No one would be idiot enough to trust the word of the US govt. So Iran demands specific actions, each reasonable.
Except they are rather laughable in that it will never come to pass.
You can violate #1 just by making any kind of statement about Iran (saying they aren’t given women the vote can be construed as an attack on their way of life).
Women in Iran have the right to vote. You are probably confusing it with Saudi Arabia.
My bad, got that wrong.
But they can’t dress any way they like so one remark about that and we would be violating the agreement.
Point is there demands aren’t meant to be met.
there are no requirements for iranian women to wear headscarves anymore.
the irgc gave up on that several years ago.
They still ride camels to work though, right?
Women do have the right to vote in Iran, and have been elected to office and have held ministerial positions.
Well said Brutus!
Amen to that
he gambled and……….“He also flagged the enormous difficulty of securing the Strait of Hormuz and the risks of Iran shutting the strait—a scenario Trump dismissed on the assumption that the regime would capitulate before it came to that.”
Immovable object meets irreparable fool. Trump’s only way out is to craft an unprecedented domestic PR card trick, or drop nukes. Fortunately for the PR option, the mean intelligence of the US voter makes it a worthwhile gamble for the gambler in chief. So my money says he’ll issue an ultimate victory claim, and our ships will probably sit there and rot awhile. Meanwhile he will throw all kinds of distractions at the wall to see what sticks (remembering his recent supposedly critical primetime election dangers announcement).
The mean intelligence of MAGA/America First voters…
So Iran is saying No More Greater Isreal – Stop It
I Do Not Know How Long This Language Could Last
I applaud it – but would not blame Iran if it were modified
– if they caved a little
Probably the Most Difficult – And Most Important
It is listed #2 but is really #1
2. Ending, once and for all, any war and aggression against Iran and its allies in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, and Iraq
Could really not blame Iran if they loosened this and were forced to benefit Iran only
It is a very daring and couragous position to take
and they do list it as # 2 but it is really #1
#1 is not threats nor insults which surely the US could promise immediately
Of Course ending all agression in Lebanon, Palestine mean Greater Israel is done – Greater Isreal is the Isreal 70 year project backed by US strongly for the last 30 years at least
So Iran is saying No More Greater Isreal – Stop It
The Gauntlet is Thrown.
“#1 is not threats nor insults which surely the US could promise immediately”
We could promise it, but President Pedo Pig would break that promise at 2am that night during his dementia fever dream twitter session.
This would, of course, be expected.
Iran knows these demands will not be met. The list is simply a diplomatic double bird with a sit on it and spin twist.
🤣🤣🤣
They forgot to ask for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

I’ve been following a heat index “feels like” weather map. The Hormuz area for weeks has been one of the hottest places on earth, constantly in the 120 degrees range. I wondered how the folks deployed out there were doing.
Always cooler on the water!
Yeah right. I lived on a carrier and I was deployed in the Gulf while we were shocking and aweing Baghdad. Thank God I was a paper pusher/box lifter in air conditioned spaces. The guys on the flight deck were MELTING on a good day and it was a 12 hour shift.
Jojo will now proceed to tell you how he’s knows better than you about this because he’s… what does Jojo do again?

Jojo is a ladyboy.
I do the internet!
Bet you it was cooler on the night shift!
I was out on one of those boats as a contractor. It was filthy and stank, and a lot of the plumbing was busted. I slept on the floor in the machine shop. The berthing area was… something else.
There is so much plumbing on a carrier that after a certain point, they just have to play the triage game. I don’t know what it’s like today, but even given the losing battle with maintenance that they were having with the ship I was on (42 years old at the time) I have few disparaging things to say about it. Berthing is berthing, people have to live there, but by the middle of the day, all the berthing compartments had to be spic and span. Or, as spic and span as you could get with bags of dirty laundry on each rack.
It’s almost like weather weapons are a working reality now.
In WW2, in the South Pacific, when it got really hot inside the warships, they had to perform a lot of circumcisions.
Meanwhile the Iranians are arming up further, both by themselves and with the help of their good friends Russia, China and others. And unfortunately this Iran war just showed us that the Chinese with their 100 times stronger than Iran missile and drone armed military could destroy our Pacific fleet in about an hour. The last 20 year shitshow of lousy corrupt leadership, offshoring manufacturing, and corporate consolidation has left the U.S. as a shallow obsolete shell.
Everyone with an ounce of common sense knows there are only 2 kinds of naval vessels. Submarines and targets.
The only naval vessels that matter in the Pacific are the nuclear subs of which there are plenty.
The carrier forces are just to bully 2nd rate nations like Iran who can’t strike back.
The carriers are staying 700 miles away from Iran, so somebody thinks they can strike back. US jets traveling from carriers (or even Jordan) need to be re-fueled and our KC-135’s are sitting ducks in Israel.
Sure they are staying away from retal strikes. I didn’t say they were invincible.
But as you acknowledge, planes are taking off from there and doing military runs in Iran. There is zero chance that could happen against Russia or China.
Didn’t think they were that far away. So much for the vaunted CBG and all its BM defenses.
wars are usually not won with battles. it’s usually a long game of attrition and fatigue and politics. the us empire doesn’t feed the treasury with any riches from our warmongering. first chapter in “art of war”. you don’t send subs to war. you must bring an entire empire to war. the amerikan empire in 21st century are filled with grifters. why we haven’t won a war since 1945. ps. i tried. building my own sub as a young man. ha ha ha. i still LOL at our crazy youth on 3rd base in our empire.
It’s actually 50+ years of this.
ike coup to install shah was 1953 i believe. i think that’s going on 73 years. and earlier than that amerika was meddling in their affairs. we are busy bodies and bullies and world wide imperialists. and assholes. democracy works. everyone loves IKE. assholes vote for assholes to do asshole things. since the greeks invented democracy, the will of the people is enacted
You learn something new every day. Once people start peeling back the layers of REAL American history/government….nothing to be proud of.

“destroyed within a few weeks; Iran would be so weakened that it could not choke off the Strait of Hormuz; the likelihood that Iran would land blows against U.S. interests in neighboring countries was minimal.” DT
Who’s your news source? The Washington Post? Centcom? CBS? lol
They meant by the next Wednesday in the next month or so. They were very clear about that.
The Strait will not be opening any time soon. Time is clearly on Iran’s side, at least until the US elections in November.
Expect Trump to say there is a deal coming tomorrow, followed by an announcement that he will hit Iran harder than anyone in the history of the world has been hit, followed by an announcement that negotiations are going well so he is postponing the hit, etc.
His other options (besides stalling) are to invade with ground troops or to capitulate, beginning with returning frozen Iranian assets and removing all sanctions.
Trump with idiotic errors painted himself (us) “strait” into this corner. He has done more in a few months to damage USA prestige, global posture and military readiness than any other person, ever.
Now he wants us to pour more money to top up his black hole of follies.
With regard to elections, at this point it probably does not matter to Iran who controls what in DC.
President Pedo getting reelected showed the world that the US can turn stupid at the drop of a hat, for no particular reason.
We will never be trusted for anything long term again.
He can’t continue on with this lather rinse repeat crap. Attrition, the petering out of the supplies, and the general effects of decay, are now on display for the whole world to see.
Ground troops? Invading this? https://www.shutterstock.com/image-illustration/iran-3d-render-topographic-map-600w-2358502279.jpg They’d get slaughtered. His options are to capitulate or use nukes. And even nukes wouldn’t yield the result he wants.
Elections in America won’t change anything.
Elections in Iran could lead to changes, but I doubt the Iranian people want anything but retribution.
Sad desperation
Selling the Oman/Iran talks on Homuz tolls as US/Iran peace talks
Worked for a week
Many more weeks to go….
Tick- tock
The Iran/Oman talks were not on tolls. They were on the operation of a new route along the coast of Oman.
As Trump has repeatedly stated, the Iranian Regime will not be allowed to work on a nuclear weapon or to charge tolls on shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. PERIOD!
Those talks were separate and different from anything the US is involved in.
You keep telling us about the pre-Trump situation but not how he is going to undo the mess he made this year and in 2017/18.
Trump will be neutered by the midterms and he will be gone in 895 days or less. The way the Muslim socialists are winning elections in the US, Iran will have a nuke by 2030.
He’s already a lame duck now that most primaries are over.
Iran already said they wont charge tolls. It will be “service fees”. Yay. Trump won!
How can this be? Jojo and Jeff just said we were winning BIGLY!!
Why do you insist in putting words in my mouth?
If you are going to quote me then put quotes around what I said and provide the link where I said what you are quoting.

Jojo , little fool, internet remembers everything.
Oh snap.
And here we are, 5 months later, with the Strait closed shut, Iran putting out a list of demands and Gen. Caine desperately looking for an off-ramp.
And the Iranian Regime suffering tremendously economically while we wait for them to admit that the guy they call their leader has been dead for months now. I documented this in prior article links posted.
Meanwhile, the US continues to blockade Iranian ports, preventing them from loading or selling their oil. They lose $6 billion every month in lost oil sales. Other Gulf states are building pipelines and even when the Strait opens again, the influence of the Iranian Regime will be greatly dimiished.
Our stock market is booming, unemployment is at 4.2%. Although I would like ot see regular bombing runs, including on their power and water plants, we can easily outwait the Iranian Regime.
I followed the link. It doesn’t show me anything. Do you know how to use copy/paste and quote marks? Then do so.
Aww, wipe away that booboo face. We haven’t lost respect for you. We never had any.
Then you are a loser.
So much winning we are getting tired of winning 😀.
