Party of Choice , Conditionally
In an interview with the BBC’s John Pienaar, Mr Corbyn said Labour was now the “party of choice” when it came to Brexit.
Ah yes, but under what conditions?
Jeremy Corbyn has challenged the next Tory leader to hold another referendum before taking Britain out of the EU, saying Labour will campaign for Remain. Mr Corbyn says the party will take this position to stop “no deal or a damaging Tory Brexit”.
But he does not say what he would do if he won a general election and was placed in charge of the Brexit process. Some senior members of his team want him to take a pro-Remain stance in all circumstances.
Conditions Explained
- Corbyn not PM: He wants a “People’s Vote”
- Corbyn PM: He wants a custom’s union

The Platters was one of the most successful vocal groups of the early rock and roll era. The group had 40 charting singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart between 1955 and 1967, including four no. 1 hits.
Transparent Lie
Corbyn does not really want a “People’s Vote”.
Rather, Corbyn took this wishy-washy position because he is afraid of losing Remain votes to the Liberal Democrats.
Of course, his transparent move will offend Labour party members who voted for Brexit.
Key Point
Once Johnson delivers Brexit, Labour will be more split than the Tories.
I discussed this yesterday as well in Remainer Schoolboy Fantasy: Alternate Parliament to Stop Brexit

Pair of good comments by GeeWiz
No Deal = WTO Deal
That’s a good deal in and of itself
I agree with your sentiments about GeeWiz’s comments regarding Brexit.
I liken the UK to be the people in a lifeboat leaving the sinking Titanic (EU). At first, the people in the lifeboat with be cold and uncomfortable in a little lifeboat in the middle of the ocean as opposed to those staying on the Titanic still having a drink in the parlour. Yes, the people staying on the Titanic are more comfortable for the time being, but in an hour, they would have wished they departed in a lifeboat, because the big, invincible Titanic is being swallowed by the North Atlantic.
Better to leave early than to leave late.
Corbyn’s other lie is “no deal”. The default deal is WTO rules. It must be a halfway decent deal because other countries continue to trade with members of the EU.
Agreed on WTO
England can get cheaper (and often better) agriculture products from Latin America. They already have a supply chain set up, because that is already where UK gets its food during (northern hemisphere) winter.
Buying more from Latin America also helps England with diplomatic initiatives, and not for nothing, the Latin American countries might just return the favor and buy more British stuff.
Outside of agriculture, England would do well to expand trade with USA, Canada, Australia, Africa, Asia… pretty much everywhere on the globe with growth higher than the continent

Wasn’t there another spineless British politician, Neville Chamberlain or something like that, who couldn’t figure out what to do about events on the continent?
The EU has absolutely zero democratic legitimacy (and its fiscal situation is even worse). Its farsical to talk about holding a vote about a committee of tyrants.
Sorry, the people of England already voted, and their opinion now doesn’t matter.
The EU is collapsing as fast as Deutch bank’s ability to finance the tyranny that is Brussels.
Even if England changed its mind and wanted to rejoin the EU, there is nothing to rejoin. Too late
