“Sick of Westie Whites” Blatant Anti-White, Anti-Asian Racism in Schools

Parents vs. the New Racism

I have discussed reverse racism several time previously but this new case tops everything that preceded it.

Federal judge William Young approved a temporary new admissions plan for three elite Boston public schools.

The new plan substitutes grades and zip codes for a competitive entrance exam. Such a plan is of course racist in and of itself. Thus the judge erred.

But Boston administrators hid some key items from the judge and today he reversed his decision.

Please consider Parents vs. the New Racism (emphasis mine).

On Friday federal judge William Young withdrew an earlier opinion approving a temporary new admissions plan for three elite Boston public schools.

Judge Young said he took this extraordinary step—the first in his 36-year judicial career—because the school system’s attorneys had misled him by excluding from the court racially charged text messages sent by two Boston School Committee members involved in the admissions decision.

The texts were sent during the virtual meeting when the admissions changes were approved, and they suggest there was racial animus behind the decision. Committee member Lorna Rivera, for example, sent a message to fellow member Alexandra Oliver-Dávila saying she was “sick of westie whites.”

Me too,” Ms. Oliver-Dávila replied. “I really feel like saying that.” Committee chairman Michael Loconto mocked the Asian names of some of those who commented.

Judge Young makes clear he may not change his ultimate conclusion, he has also suggested that withholding these texts from the court record is “potentially fraud on the Court.

Fraud and Racism

This is not “potential fraud” it is blatant fraud and blatant racism by the Boston school board.

And this is happening in all the Progressive hot beds, especially California.

Critical Race Theory and the Big Lie Behind It

These attitudes and solutions are part of Critical Race Theory and the Big Lie Behind It

What is Critical Race Theory?

The Encyclopaedia Britannica Explains CRT

  • Critical race theory (CRT), intellectual movement and loosely organized framework of legal analysis based on the premise that race is not a natural, biologically grounded feature of physically distinct subgroups of human beings but a socially constructed (culturally invented) category that is used to oppress and exploit people of colour.
  • Critical race theorists hold that the law and legal institutions in the United States are inherently racist insofar as they function to create and maintain social, economic, and political inequalities between whites and nonwhites, especially African Americans.

One would have to be nuts to believe CRT theory should be taught in grade school.

Unfortunately, that’s where we are, and embraced by the Biden administration and the Left media.

Culture Wars

Leftist mainstream media is in bed with CRT proponents. They both attempt to pawn this all off as some sort of noble history lesson.

But if you read the definition itself, CRT it is not remotely about history.

It is about a theory that says “race is culturally invented” and “legal institutions in the United States are inherently racist.”

That is what CRT proponents want taught because that is the actual theory.

White kids are made to feel inferior simply because they are white.

CRT proponents want those preposterous theories taught to K12 schools (Kindergarten to 12th grade).

Many if not most of those who support CRT do so only because they do not understand that the basis for CRT is a brazen lie

Political Backlash

Those who see through the lies are infuriated.

I discussed this previously in Critical Race Theory Should Be Banned, and a Black Parent Explains Why

“Educators use CRT as their own agenda, to indoctrinate the kids to hate each other.”

“And who are you to educate my children, or any of our children on life issues? That’s our job.”

I transcribe the entire video in the above link.

Please note To Promote Equality, California Proposes a Ban on Advanced Math Classes

Adversity scores are the Latest in Dumbing Down of US Education.

Bill Maher on Critical Race Theory

Even the Left has serious issues.

In a must see video, comedian Bill Maher blast wokes who have no sense of massive progress on many liberal and Libertarian fronts.

To play the video and for a partial transcript as well, please see The Woke Liberals Have a Bad Case of Progressophobia

CRT is not (or at least should not) be a Left vs Right issue. Instead, it is a right vs wrong issue.

School boards, typically liberal progressives, are on the very wrong side of this debate.

What’s Next?

The case in Boston is not isolated. It’s happening all over. The difference this time is that a Federal judge caught the Boston school board in a pack of lies.

Adversity scores and bans on advanced math are anti-White, anti-Asian racism, without a doubt.

Hopefully, and in light of what happened in Boston, we can get a case before the US Supreme Court.

The current zeitgeist cannot but travel in this direction.  We already accept lowered standards for black and hispanic college applications (discrimination against higher performing students of other races) and employment discrimination without comment.  We are moving rapidly against merit in favor of racial preferences in many spheres.  Biden’s farm assistance program was just struck down because whites were sent to the back of the line because of their race.  Casual slurs against and demonization of white people are commonplace among the commentariat.  This is immoral and should be as offensive as slurs and discrimination against black, hispanic or any other american.  It must be resisted.

I worked for Raytheon Technologies until early this spring. The whole pride and diversity initiative had not helped one bit. These were just check boxes for human resources and managers. The morale of experienced engineers just kept falling, and skills were walking out the door with every buyout and poach. One engineer told me as I was leaving, “You probably made the right decision to leave.” Not long after, I found out about the corporate requirement to identifying one’s white privilege, and sign some sort of form. I am still in shock.
My new employer is a small company that merged with a couple other small companies. Each founder is still at the helm and insists on maintaining the culture he established. Their solution to diversity is very free-market: “Put your differences aside and work as a team because your bonus is based on productivity.”

Apparently, 9th graders in Ontario, Canada, are going to be taught that math is racist.
“The Ontario Grade 9 mathematics curriculum emphasizes the need to recognize and challenge systems of power and privilege, both inside and outside the classroom, in order to eliminate systemic barriers and to serve students belonging to groups that have been historically disadvantaged and underserved in mathematics education.”
“Mathematics has been used to normalize racism and marginalization of non-Eurocentric mathematical knowledges, and a decolonial, anti-racist approach to mathematics education makes visible its historical roots and social constructions.”

I think that this is not marxism. At least in USSR, marxists used to praise science. I think that this “wokenism” has rather to do with religion, in particular christian heretic sects in the middle age in Europe.

I like the way a small burst of communication between two people is used to underpin the sweeping headline.. Blatant Anti-White, Anti-Asian Racism in Schools.

Yes, normally these tactics are the purview of the left, but they will appear on the right as well.  The Jussie Smolette “hate crime” or spa murders or Covington Boys cases were used to indict all of America.  As long as you mention it, though, the blatant anti-white, anti-asian racism in college admissions is a fact, that is supported by broad swaths of american society.  Med school admissions boards, Law schools are moving in this direction as well.  Perhaps the snark could be better directed at the issue/problem?

Today – Everyone practicing what CRT is teaching.
The problem is that CRT is simply teaching a historical fact and that very few acknowledge or teach the huge advances in race relations across all facets of our society.  We are going backward.

CRT is not about history. It is about teaching people to be racist.

None of this has anything to do with race. BLM, Antifa, CRT etc… is all about demonizing republicans, who are majority white. If 90% of blacks voted republican, they would be pushing WLM. The democratic party and by extension CNN, MSNBC, WaPo, NYT,… push this narrative because enough of their viewers/readers are dumb enough believe this nonsense and vote accordingly.

Last year several people were fired, lost their job, after they only said “all lives matter”. Did Lorna Rivera and Alexandra Oliver-Davula also loose their jobs ?

Why is this country continually pandering to 13% of its population? You do realize that about 2% of our population are the real killers don’t you? Age15-30 something black males in the major cities. Once white people give up power to blacks, you get what we now have; vast wastelands in which millions of citizens attempt to survive. The Democrat solution? Give them more authority and more Federal money.

If you want to see the potential result, just watch a few videos of today’s South Africa.
And if you don’t like what I have to say, you don’t understand reality.

I am no expert in this field but are we not loosing sight of how our cultural factors into this equation.  Typical successful people of all races have adopted a culture that allows them to be succeed (if success is measured on independence from Government and able to make decisions on your own with adversely impacting others) or at least gives them a good shot.
I would like to hear from the CRT or others what and how would we define success in the battle against racism? Are their goals even achievable in a world made of imperfect humans?

As an aside, the term “public schools” is an anathema to libertarians. They consider it unacceptable, and prefer the term “state supported schools” instead.
My personal opinion is that anyone who sends their children to state supported schools deserves what they get. The US once had outstanding schools, but starting with the signing of the “Humanist Manifesto” in the 1930s, the core mission of state supported schools became political and religious indoctrination, not education. It’s taken nearly a century to get where we are, but we deserve it.

What the heck does math have to do with race?  The only math controversy I’ve ever seen is male vs. female.  P.S.  I’m a liberal Democrat and I think “wokeness” is complete nonsense.

Good to know the “hot topic” remains the same in Fox land…tender white fee-fees hurt.
By the way, the most cited “Ivermectin stops covid” study is a fraud….

There are 58 studies/trials that demonstrate the efficacy of Ivermectin. It is obvious that Ivermectin works against Covid.
Early in the pandemic, there was a nursing home in France which had an outbreak of scabies. The residents were given Ivermectin to treat it. None of the residents got Covid.
It is also safer to take Ivermectin than to take any of the vaccines.

This kind of reminds me a Dr James Dobson stressing that the gays, liberals, porn industry, schools were going to destroy Christianity.  In reality a generation of Christian kids who were trying to follow him and his methods of controlling kids and now as adults they want nothing to do with Christianity.  James Dobson and his methods likely had more to do with it that the “evils”.
As Mish said, a lot of it is bad but we can’t ignore the race problems and only blame blacks.

CRT has been banned in many states . Here’s what Florida has to say:: “That is not worth any taxpayer dollars,” the Republican governor added, describing the theory as “toxic.” The Florida rule also requires schools to provide instruction on the Declaration of Independence and the Holocaust.
Additionally ,You will see more people send their offspring to private schools.

I agree with James Carville:
“Wokeness is a problem and everyone knows it. It’s hard to talk to anybody today — and I talk to lots of people in the Democratic Party — who doesn’t say this. But they don’t want to say it out loud,”
I don’t think the Dems have a ghost of chance of NOT losing a lot of ground in the next election cycle unless they start to walk some of the more outrageous stuff back.
We’ll have the usual great choice to make at the polls…between the Democrat false narrative of identity politics and social justice (unless you happen to be white, in which case you’re part of the problem)……and no-nothing  Trump-style populism, which does BETTER when they can make the Democrats look stupid….which is like shooting fish in a barrel, it’s so easy.

Except there is a certain unity in foreign policy from the Trump era to the present one. China and Russia are the bad guys. We are out of Afghanistan and the military budget is still rising. Turmoil at home doesn’t not mean turmoil in foreign policy.

The issue is multi-point, multi-faceted and complex as you well know. Internal politics is just one aspect. History of the USSR is a good guide.
Things could happen slowly, and then suddenly.
