“Silly season is going to be a faint memory once Mueller testifies”

Impeached? Resign?
Please be serious. Then again, this is silly season

Silly season is going to be a faint memory once Mueller testifies. Impeachment proceedings will start shortly thereafter by the end of July. Expect this to go on until summer 2020 whereby Trump is either impeached or resigns because of the redacted portions of the Mueller report.

By the way before anyone says I’m a hater, I actually voted for the guy but it’s going to end badly for him and the country. Anyone who thinks he is out of the woods has another thing coming after July. Expect some bombshells.

Trump just announced his candidacy for 2020. He isn’t going to be resigning.

Republicans have inconvenient questions lined up for Mueller to answer. He was supposed to be looking into Russian interference in our election, but didn’ look into certain things related to Russian interference. Rather odd Mueller didn’t do that.

Don’t forget that AG Barr is investigating the investigation, as the spying on Trump may not have been legally predicated.

I bet Trump isn’t going anywhere except to win in 2020. Just watch.

Have you actually read the Mueller Report. Everything in there is soft, mushy and smelly when you consider it was written by hard core Democrats. And not one word about Hillary’s Russian connections.

Ahh, but for the absence of the word “off.”

Marianne Williamson will just “visualize no national debt” and it will go away. The good vibes and energy emitted from her “positive thoughts” will allow all state/city pensions to be fully funded. She will do Yoga together with Mr. Xi and become one and “manifest” as perfect trade deal.

Honestly she is a nut. She is so stupid that I feel a little sorry for her.

I don’t know about that, it seems like there is a saturation point for comedy. I loved The Onion twenty years ago, but today their satire is so close to reality that it doesn’t seem as funny. I feel a bit badly for them, it’s not their fault the world went insane.

I entirely take your point. It is getting harder to top reality. But I prefer this free-for-all to the po-faced 2008, 2012 and 2016 campaigns where everybody was too uncomfortable to laugh (openly) at even the absurdest remarks of the candidates.

When you can’t laugh at your ‘elected leaders,’ democracy is truly dead. We’ve come perilously close to that.
