Trump Offers Assistance to North Korea and Praises Kim Jong Un

News reports Trump Offered Kim Jong Un Coronavirus Help in Personal Letter.

President Trump sent a personal letter to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un offering cooperation against the coronavirus pandemic and praised the dictator’s efforts to defend his people from the disease, Kim’s sister said Sunday.

Kim Yo Jong, first vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, said her brother appreciated the letter during this time of “big difficulties and challenges,” according to a statement obtained by official Korean Central News Agency.

In the letter, Trump explained his plan to “propel the relations between the two countries … and expressed his intent to render cooperation in the anti-epidemic work,” Kim Yo Jong said.

North Korea has repeatedly said there hasn’t been a single case of the coronavirus on its soil. Some foreign experts question that claim and say an outbreak in the North could cause a humanitarian disaster because of its poor medical infrastructure.

A senior Trump administration official said Sunday that Trump sent a letter to Kim that was consistent with Trump’s efforts to engage global leaders during the pandemic. The official said Trump looks forward to continued communications with the North Korean leader.

The latest correspondence between the two leaders came as Kim observed the firing of tactical guided weapons over the weekend, drawing criticism from South Korea, as nuclear talks remain deadlocked.

Question of the Day

Assume for one second that Democrats held the White House and did the same thing.

How loud would Republican howls be and how long would they last?

Trump loves the Great Leader and wishes he could make his country exactly like North Korea.

Some sort of message to China? I don’t know, my 5-D chess isn’t strong.

But that means your 5D chess IS strong! You see, a statement can mean exactly what it looks like, or it can mean its opposite, depending on the circumstances and the reader’s wish.

So you say your 5D chess is weak, but what if I surmise that the Deep State wants you to say that, or maybe your words have been twisted or misinterpreted? That would mean that your 5D chess is strong, maybe even the strongest ever!

Of course, if you said your 5D chess was strong, I’d take it at face value and believe you. I mean, why would you lie about that?

Here’s how it works. Trump says Lil Kim is a great guy, it gets played in the Korean media and all the Norks think Kim has faced down the USA, and Kim’s position in NK is solidified; it might be/is a bit more shakey than we know. Kim is happy. NK is happy.

As Winston Churchill said of Rommel, “When you have to kill a man it does no harm to be polite”.

Behind the scenes, Trump tells Kim in no uncertain terms he’s a dead man if he doesn’t straighten up and fly right. To make his point, he takes out the Iranian general: Kim realizes he’s not safe anywhere, it’s not necessary for the US to nuke NK (which is a bit over the top) for him to be a dead man at any moment, 24-7.

Of course, taking out the Iranian general is an end all by itself, but doing it in such a public manner shows that the US can pick out a single car in a caravan on the other side of the world and take it out remotely in real time.

NK has not launched a ballistic missile since the last meeting between Kim and Trump, which I think is significant.

I suppose people will call me a conspiracy nut, and this is all conjecture of course, but it fits the facts, doesn’t require a grassy knoll gunman, etc., so to speak. I could be wrong, of course.

Why would Churchill say that about Rommel? Hitler killed him, right?

I think you’re reading way too much into the Soleimani assassination. He was responsible for more ISIS deaths than any other individual, so he had to be removed. Shortly after that we started playing games in Syria again, this time with assistance from Turkey.

Besides, if anyone is going to pull Kim’s strings and order him around, it’s China. The Chinese have enabled the Kim family since the days of Kim Il-Sung.

This must be the joke of the year. It’s not that the US non-manufacturing economy can provide material help, apart from the reserve currency cudgel. The reserve currency today is, medical masks, respirators, etc. On top of sanctioning left and right, this must be the fastest unraveling of reserve currency. And that is an economic liability still unaccounted for.

How many countries would the White House have not sent such a message to? Jeez. Someone in the White House or State Dept. must have automated this stuff years ago, wouldn’t you think?

How loud would Republican howls be and how long would they last?
Mike “Mish” Shedlock

Great question…

The Answer

For exactly as long as democrats would piss and moan. They’re all the same.

So, let’s call a spade a spade and Declaration of War on China and their puppet regime, North Korea… …..that’ll ‘fix’ our economy…

Libertarian values demand war….!

That’s what the “World” needed in 1941….

“How loud would Republican howls be and how long would they last?”

Lindsey Graham is probably howling into Trump’s ear over the phone right now, along with other GOPers.

Trump’s attempt at peace with NK is a good thing. The problem is, the military industry is what runs this once-good country and they do not want peace with any nation they can’t sell weapons and training to.

Trump is using Kim and Vlad as well as Mugabe as templates for permanent rule. He’ll use the virus as cover for martial law and canceling elections to remain in power. No way in hell he’s gonna allow creepy Joe beat him,not happening!

It does seem unlikely by North Korea is quite isolated from the rest of the world.
