Trump to “Send a Great Hospital Boat to Greenland” Why? No One Knows.

Neither the White House nor those allegedly involved are answering any questions.

Help Is On the Way

Please note Truth Social Link: “Working with the fantastic Governor of Louisiana, Jeff Landry, we are going to send a great hospital boat to Greenland to take care of the many people who are sick, and not being taken care of there. It’s on the way!!! President DJT

Reuters reports Trump says he is sending a hospital ship to Greenland

U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday said he was working with Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry to send a hospital boat to Greenland, a Danish territory that Trump has said he wants to acquire.

Trump announced the plan on social media moments before hosting a dinner for Republican governors at the White House, where he sat next to and chatted with Landry.

Neither the White House nor Landry’s office responded to queries about the post, whether the ship had been requested by Denmark or Greenland and which sick people needed help. The Department of War had no immediate comment.

Trump’s post came hours after Denmark’s Joint Arctic Command said it had evacuated a crew member who required urgent medical treatment from a U.S. submarine in Greenland’s waters, seven nautical miles outside of Greenland’s capital, Nuuk.

It was unclear what connection Landry had with the matter or if the post had any connection to the evacuation.

The U.S. Navy has two hospital ships, the Mercy and the Comfort, but neither are stationed in Louisiana.

Trump is delusional.

Mish, you know, the fact that you don’t know something doesn’t mean that Trump doesn’t know it. However good your academic sources of information are, Trump can probably afford more. If he were stupid enough to rely on the CIA, like some presidents, he might be deceived by them, but I don’t think he is.

You are correct. Trump does know it – and it’s nearly a certain bet that whatever is happening is a grift, con or misdirection from some other act of malfeasance.

I might be delusional, Mike, but if Trump can survive as a real estate developer in New York, and then go on to succeed in politics, I don’t think he is.
There are a lot of people in politics who are probably there because they are tools of someone else. I hardly think that your Presidents Carter, Bush II, or Obama were really acting for themselves or making decisions themselves. But Trump doesn’t look like that sort of person. Would anyone who wanted a puppet feel safe about using him?
I do enjoy your stuff, and the comments, delusional and otherwise.

Maybe because Greenland only has 1 Hospital that services all of the island. That Hospital has 130 beds.
They also have a few walk in small clinic places like we do here in America. Not Emergency Care.
The Mercy has 1,000 beds and 12 Fully equipped Operating Rooms. Perhaps they are going to see ALL the people that need to be seen, that may need medical treatment for various ailments. That’s what this ship is designed to do during Combat. It’s a literal “Floating Hospital” fully Staffed and Equipped and “Active”

The President can order a strike, Yes. However “The Military” must carry out that order, OR They can Choose Not To, if they feel it is NOT an order that should “Legally” be carried out.

Presidents have a lot less power than most think. They have checks and balances in place for this very reason. We are the opposite of a Dictatorship.

This just proves the suspicion that Trump is being manipulated with AI generated imagery by a Chinese eunuch style advisor cabal. He clearly has no idea what state the ships are in because they can just show him pictures like that and he thinks there 100% real. It’s like having a toddler in office.

If You think that Trump is being manipulated, then I would suggest that you are in fact the one. Someone has made you believe this and/or You simply do… Trump could arguably be considered unable to be manipulated. He is not at all that type of personality. He is actually quite the opposite, and if you said He tried to manipulate something, I would be more likely to believe it.

Last time I seen the hospital boat is when it was plastered all over the tv during covid in between nonstop footage of chinese violently shaking on hospital beds and falling dead in the streets. None of that ever happened here.

Was the US submarine the “Typhoid Landry”?

Is the “great hospital boat” the “Typhoid Mary”?

Either way, Trump is not about helping anyone but himself!

As an aside; Why do we have a Nuclear submarine stationed off the coast of Greenland’s largest city?

Is Trump invading both Iran and Greenland at the same time?

Even further aside, and speaking of duplicity… Trump is also the self proclaimed “President of Venezuela”. Therefore; is Venezuela invading these countries?

Who does Trump work for?

Let’s not forget that under Trumps first regime, 1.6 million Americans lost their lives to his “it’s a hoax” pandemic. One can surmise that Trump has the concept of spreading disease as mastered as his spreading of debts he will default on.

If I am reading this correctly from the “Occam’s Razor” perspective.

With prior knowledge and intent, Trump has sent a soldier with a contagious disease into Greenlands largest hospital where the disease could spread rapidly and infect the general population?

Are we accusing Trump of having caused the Chinese flu now? As I remember it, he was a voice of reason, but was overwhelmed by the panic generated by drug companies who wanted to sell vaccines, media people who just like creating hysteria, and lower-level politicians and bureaucrats who wanted the opportunity to give orders to ordinary people while breaking their rules themselves.

I hope he gets Greenland. I wouldn’t like to think that he would play any dirty tricks to get it. Dirty tricks and more what Democrats, media people and university types do.

Also from Copilot:

What Happened to the U.S. Navy Sailor Near Greenland

🚨 The Incident

• A U.S. Navy sailor aboard an American nuclear-powered submarine experienced a medical emergency while the vessel was operating near Nuuk, Greenland A B C D.
• The submarine surfaced and broke from its mission, which is highly unusual because U.S. subs are designed to remain hidden and their locations are rarely acknowledged publicly A B.

🛩️ The Evacuation

• Danish Joint Arctic Command carried out the evacuation.
• A Danish Seahawk helicopter, operating from an inspection ship, retrieved the sailor roughly 7 nautical miles off Nuuk
• The sailor was transported to a hospital in Nuuk, Greenland’s capital, for urgent treatment

❓ What Was the Medical Issue?

• The U.S. Navy has not disclosed the nature of the medical emergency.
• Reporting confirms only that it was not combat-related

🌍 Why This Was Notable

• Submarine missions are normally secretive; even acknowledging a sub’s general location is rare.
• Surfacing near Greenland underscores the seriousness of the medical situation and the strategic sensitivity of Arctic waters

The two US hospital ships (Mercy and Comfort) are not based in Louisiana.

From Copilot

🛳️ Where the U.S. Hospital Ships Are Based

USNS Mercy (T‑AH‑19)

• Home port: Naval Base San Diego, California
• Normal status: Reduced Operating Status (ROS) with a small skeleton crew
• Activation time: 5 days to full medical readiness

USNS Comfort (T‑AH‑20)

• Home port: Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia
• Normal status: Also in Reduced Operating Status when not deployed

🛠️ What They Are Doing Right Now (as of early 2026)

According to maritime tracking and shipyard reporting:

Both ships are currently in Mobile, Alabama — not at their home ports.

• USNS Mercy is in drydock at Alabama Shipyard undergoing a scheduled year‑long maintenance period that began July 2025
• USNS Comfort is also moored at the same Alabama shipyard, undergoing maintenance as well

This is a rare situation — the shipyard noted it was the first time in 30 years that both hospital ships were together in the same place

Summary of current activity:

• USNS Mercy• In drydock for mid‑term availability maintenance
• Under an $18.7M contract for upgrades and repairs

• USNS Comfort• Moored alongside Mercy
• Undergoing scheduled maintenance (not deployed)

📌 Why this matters for the Greenland announcement

Because both ships are:

• In Alabama, not at sea
• Undergoing maintenance
• Not medically activated

…it is unclear how either ship could be deployed to Greenland immediately, despite the political announcement.

Is their a rationale reason for you to keep posting this shit?

Their top speed right now is zero. They are both under maintenance .

From Grok:

The USNS Comfort (T-AH-20), a U.S. Navy Mercy-class hospital ship, is currently in the Gulf of Mexico, specifically moored in or near the port of Mobile, Alabama, United States.
• According to real-time vessel tracking sources like VesselFinder and MarineTraffic (using AIS data), its last reported position is in the Gulf of Mexico, with coordinates around 30.67770° N, -88.03401° W (near Mobile). The AIS signal was last received about 17-29 days ago (as of February 22, 2026), and the ship is listed as moored or out-of-range for updates, with its last port call in Mobile around January 22, 2026.
• This aligns with recent reports of scheduled mid-term maintenance and servicing at Alabama Shipyard in Mobile, starting around January 15-22, 2026, for approximately 102 days (expected to complete around April-May 2026). This is a planned overhaul to address maintenance needs, and it’s noted as a rare occurrence where both hospital ships (Comfort and Mercy) are in the same shipyard for repairs.

It’s what they are stating. When The AIS STATES that a ship is “Active” it means “Moving” and all radar is activated and working. They stated such, so you will have to contact them directly for your answer, if you don’t like what they are reporting. I know you have 2025 data above and perhaps it bled into 2026, but not NOW! Unless the AIS is incorrect about being “Active”

I know what you’re saying above, and I am stating the opposite. Nothing to do with Trump, except the TDS that you still can’t get past.
Let me make this simple for You. The AIS has labeled both ships “Active” as in service.
You may not like it, but that’s what “THEY SAY”! Don’t be all pissy at me for reporting the AIS info.
You say they are in dry dock, but that’s NOT active, so something is Amiss… Try to be Civil if possible…

PapaDave
PapaDave

Dumb f*ck. The only thing “amiss”
Is your Trump worship.

Active means “in service”. The Mercy has been active, or in service, for 51 years. And it will continue to be active, or in service for many more years. But that doesn’t mean it is “moving”.

And right now it is in drydock in Mobile,
Alabama, at the coordinates you provided. It is not currently underway to Greenland as you keep implying.

Stu
Stu

Reply to  PapaDave

You said it was on its way to Greenland, you fool! Not Me!! I said it was active according to the AIS, and by the way, just so you can be more accurate. It will take 5 days, and they will be ready to move out.
So next time read and absorb, and be civil if at all possible. Don’t jump to conclusions that you made, and apply them to others.
So it appears they will be ready to be in route 5 Days from the official announcement, as They Say! It is roughly a 4 day trip, so in 9 days they can be on Greenlands Door step, from announcing their departure. Got that?

It’s all verbiage. Dry dock is being worked on, active, is ready and waiting to go, that is how the AIS labels them.

It will take 5 days to ready the personal for the trip, and then roughly 4 days to arrive at 20 knots. So 9 Days in Total.

That’s the facts that I was trying to convey, and they are accurate as stated.

The AIS REPORTS: USNS Mercy (T-AH-19) is currently in active service.

Take it up with the AIS. Active Service is… well ACTIVE SERVICE. They are not moving yet, because they will be packing up, and getting ready to move when ordered. This takes 5 DAYS, and then an additional 4 DAYS to arrive in Greenland.

This is not that difficult. I know some made a mess of things by stating they were in dry dock, but that’s simply not true. Mercy is ACTIVE which is the complete and total opposite of dry dock… that’s the Facts!
