Trump’s Fluid Feelings Scientifically Mapped for the First Time

I am pleased to report a new scientific breakthrough in 3D mapping of feelings.

New Scientific Breakthrough

I have been working with world renown scientist Dr. E. Pluribus Grok, honorary PhD, EngD, DBA, PsySD, and DSc on 3D mapping Trump’s feelings, and the intensity of them, over time.

We rated all of Trump’s social media posts and interviews over the the last two years based on direction, intensity, emotion, and consistency. No one has ever attempted this feat before.

Today, Dr. Grok and I are pleased to report our findings.

Our shocking and totally unexpected conclusion is the intensity of Trump’s messaging and the potential related chaos have increased over time.

We expect to see our scientific breakthrough covered in peer-reviewed journals including but not limited to NatureScienceThe New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), and The Lancet

In an exclusive MishTalk interview, Dr. Grok issued this statement:

“Our research is for the sole benefit of mankind to help make America great again. We expect no monetary reward for our scientific efforts and will donate rewards if offered.”

Dr. Grok later added “Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

This was one of the best satires I’ve ever read. And that goes back to stuff written in the past 300 years.

Neither you nor anyone, and certainly not any AI, have any actual understanding of “Trump’s feelings”.

You’ve made a Categorical Error – serious logical fallacy: Trump is a politician. What he says is for politics, not personal reasons. The words in his posts do not reflect his feelings. He’s not ever going to be telling you his actual feelings, and even if he did, you shouldn’t believe him.

I repeat: Watch what he does, not what he says.

Tick-tock

Global oil production has been slashed by as much as 11 million barrels daily amid the Middle East war. With the latest attempt at ending the hostilities failing, chances are the supply disruption will last a while, and then it would take months to restore production to its full size, even in the best-case scenario.

“Even if there is a durable ceasefire tomorrow and the strait reopens, markets will not return to normal for at least six months,” Rystad Energy’s head of geopolitical analysis told the Financial Times earlier this month. The publication noted that a tenth of global oil production has been shut in, along with some 2.4 million barrels daily in refining capacity. “And in some cases it could take significantly longer,” Rystad’s Jorge Leon also said. will last a while, and then it would take months to restore production to its full size, even in the best-case scenario.

Europe will be tapped out of jet fuel in 6 weeks. The sheer damage from the loss of transportation to the economy will be staggering.

PARIS (AP) — Europe has “maybe six weeks or so (of) jet fuel left,” the head of the International Energy Agency said Thursday in a wide-ranging Associated Press interview, warning of possible flight cancellations “soon” if oil supplies remain blocked by the Iran war.

The impact will be “higher petrol (gasoline) prices, higher gas prices, high electricity prices,” Birol told the AP, speaking in his Paris office looking out over the Eiffel Tower.

“Some countries may be richer than the others. Some countries may have more energy than the others, but no country, no country is immune to this crisis,” he said.

I see Brent is ticking up toward $100 this morning. Currently at $96.60.

if only Iran would agree to a phony “surrender ceremony” on the deck of the USS Powerful Golden Navy, with Trump on deck signing with his custom $5 Sharpie, with the Nobel Committee standing by, a nice new triumphal arch waiting for him in DC, then all would be right in the world.

For a day, at least….

He doesn’t care. SCOTUS told him he has immunity and he will keep escalating his antics and illegal activities until a nuke goes off somewhere. You have 1010 days more of clown circus.

Tucker has a good synopsis of how the Antichrist will mock all religions, Trump seems to fit the bill.

The Orthodox Jews (and maybe some Xtians, idk) believe that when the year 6000 arrives there will be a thousand years of peace. But according to their calendar that’s another 214 years away. Not sure if its supposed to get crazy until that time.

When George W. Bush called Trump’s first inauguration speech “some weird “stuff,”” little did he know that we all would have to live with an uninterrupted flood of that “stuff” for the next decade. Only two years of more “stuff” left to go (hopefully).

Americans are going to say “hold my beer” in 2028 and whatever we vote it will be a criminally stupid vote. Just look at our voting record and dare to expect something different next time.

Peer review from ChatGPT:

The article effectively highlights real volatility in Trump’s positions and presents it as something systematic rather than random. That’s a useful lens, and the examples broadly support the claim that his messaging shifts over time.

However, the analysis leans on selective evidence and assumes inconsistency implies incoherence. It underexplores alternative explanations such as strategic ambiguity, negotiation tactics, or reactive politics. As a result, it’s strong on pattern recognition but weak on causal depth.

The “scientific mapping” framing is engaging but methodologically thin, lacking a clear model or testable structure.

I suspect Mish, like most of us, would love NOT to feel compelled to respond to this president’s daily unmoored brainwaves, instead preferring the boredom and ennui of consistent principles and morality coursing through time, which require much less analysis and attention.
