CBS News Openly Campaigns for Harris With a 60 Minutes Report on Jan 6

Just hours after the second assassination attempt on President Trump, CBS is using their 60 Minutes Show how to attack Trump as a “threat to democracy.

Most of mainstream media is not even trying to hide it anymore. They are openly campaigning for Harris.

CBS 60 Minutes could have done this report 6 months, 12 months or 2 years after the January 6 event.

Instead they do this 50 days ahead of the election. We don’t have to ask why because why is obvious.

Who and what are the real threats to democracy here?

In case you missed it, please see Trump Is O.K. In Another Assassination Attempt, the Suspect Captured

Corporate media keeps hiding the the truth about madman Donald Trump

By John Stoehr

September 16, 2024

We have a complete madman running for the President of the United States, and it would be about damn time our national media started reporting it this way.

We are just over seven weeks from a landmark election that will determine America’s standing in the world, and her ability to protect the rights, welfare and lives of her citizens.

With all of this on the line, we have bitterly learned that we can no longer count on the fourth estate.

It’s a terrible thing. They have catastrophically failed us like never before.

They could have used Jan 6th to imprison Trump long ago. However that would put Biden/Kamala up against someone they couldn’t beat. So they allowed Trump to stay on the ticket and kept Jan 6th in their back pocket for when things go south. This “Trump is evil” report right after attempt #2 is a cheap shot to counter-act the surge in polls he will get from dodging another bullet.

The problem is, they’re right. Trump should burn for Jan 6th and the Stop the Steal BS. But don’t think for a second that means Kamala isn’t a dictator wannabe. Four years of her sticky socialist nails in things will make the world beg for Trump.

I’m just an outside bystander in this, but I’d say a narcissistic moron is the lesser evil to a conniving marxist. However if I had a choice, I’d write in Viveck, or go third party. A lame duck nobody is better than either of these two hellions at the wheel.

Trump IS a threat to democracy. He wants to be a dictator, and the wealthy people that back him only do so because they know they can manipulate him with flattery. They want a dictator in their pocket so they can take what everyone else has.

Stupid people are dangerous, and trump is REALLY freakin’ stupid. He’s a threat to anything he gets his sticky little hands on: The casinos he bankrupted, the students he scammed with his ‘school’. The charities he stole from.

Stupid people demand stupid representation though, so here we are.

I don’t see this as campaigning for Harris. The evidence on Jan 6th will come out before the election. Trump was President on this day and failed as President. I could forgive President Trump on many things but his embrace of white supremacists and his refusal to accept an election outcome that was in fact fair and legal, was the a line I won’t cross. I voted for him in 2016.

Now that the office of the Presidency is immune from official acts, don’t be surprised if Biden uses that power. The Supreme Court may regret they ever made that decision.

Is that you Robert Reich? Only a deluded partisan or an aparatchik would call this site a “Trump propaganda outlet.” for pointing out the obvious bias in the MSM. Overall, January 6th was a protest tha went a bit too far out of bounds – it had zero chance of making any difference or threatening government. The same people that emphasize the “criminality” of those protesters are the same cowardly people that stay mum about the riots in Baltimore and Kenosha. Those are conveniently called “protests” to skew perception.

Biased reporting is one thing, but when it reaches the point of deliberate ‘brain washing’; it is election interference. Doubtless some will disagree, further proof that mind control still continues in addled minds.

Despite what you might think, I am not advocating for Trump–he’s not the ‘statesman’ we need; however some thing are ‘beyond the pale.’

The US no longer has a president capable of tying his shoelaces. Remember Pelosi’s position at the end of Trump’s term? Hypocrisy of the highest order, and it belongs to the Democrats!

All citizens should be appalled. To anyone with a functioning brain, allowing brain-dead Biden to finish his term, when there is VP ready to step in, reeks of incompetence and disregard for the nation’s safety.

So, why hasn’t Harris taken over the reins? To enable her to run her campaign is the obvious answer. However, more likely is she is so incompetent it must be hidden until after she’s elected. Sound familiar.

“… we have to ‘elect the President’ so that you can find out what (she really is), away from the fog of (politics)…” Pelosi 2010.

The Democrat Party is the obvious threat to democracy. Democrats project on others, what they themselves are doing. CBS/NBC/ABC Propaganda, are agents of the Democrat Party. Obama said he was 5 days from fundamentally changing America. Democrats attack the Constitution, which stands in their way, while they falsely swear to uphold it. They are the insurrectionists, seeking to overturn what the founding fathers created.

Censorship is anti democracy. Democrats support censorship, as they want complete control. Free speech is a threat to complete control. It is Democrats who hate Musk and his freer speech version of Twitter. It is a threat to autocratic Democrats and European governments.

What happened on Jan 6 2020 is yet to be revealed. What we saw was a carefully sanitized version intended to convey a message. Think about what that message might be before assigning ‘tinhat’, because what you are doing is shooting the messenger.

This is NOT to minimize what happened on Jan 6, but if there was nothing to hide, why not release every shred of evidence? Put it all out there. Instead, evidence is destroyed, or held back–which means cover-up. And you’ve been suckered again.

Putin told Tucker Russia deals directly with the CIA. The last three US Presidents had no authority on anything.

I firmly believe the same goes for most major networks along with many other aspects of US entertainment and media. The CIA controls it. In my home we haven’t watched TV in years for this reason. I don’t even care for Trump but it’s clearly obvious things are not what they seem.

It’s not even some conspiracy if one starts looking into celebrities that have been tied to US propaganda going back even further than the creation of the CIA. Is Taylor Swift’s endorsement this late organic? Highly unlikely.

60 Minutes has been the TOP news program for the last 50 years! Anyone not watching 60 Minutes is going to be an uninformed loser.

May 21, 2024

CBS’ “60 Minutes” marks its 50th season as the top TV news program

Sara Fischer

“60 Minutes” wrapped its 50th consecutive season as the No. 1 television news program last weekend, according to new Nielsen figures.

Why it matters: The transition to streaming and digital news has been a ratings killer for many shows. But the CBS News staple remains a juggernaut (9 million viewers on one recent Sunday).

By the numbers: The weekly Sunday evening show, which debuted in 1968, has been the top news program across cable and broadcast in terms of average viewers per show, per season, for the past 50 years.

Its winning streak hasn’t been broken since the 1974-75 TV season.

0This past season, the program was television’s top nonsports prime-time program 15 times.

It has been TV’s top overall prime-time program 14 times over the last three TV seasons.

I am not aware of 60 Minutes exposing how dangerous the Covid shot are. Back in the 1970’s they did an expose on the unsafe Swine Flu shots, which i saw on YouTube some time ago, during the Covid pandemic.

Everyone’s hating on Trump except his low-IQ deplorables! I’m telling y’all. It’s going to be a landslide in favor of Harris. Trump is going to be so upset, he may leap from top of Trump Towers in NYC.

“Republicans for Harris” Keeps Expanding With the Help of Ex-Reagan Staffers

“The time for choosing we face today is a choice between integrity and demagoguery, and the choice must be Harris-Walz,” more than a dozen former staff wrote.

Julianne McShane

15 Sep 2024

Just over a month ago, the Harris-Walz ticket launched what it called “a campaign within a campaign”: an initiative called “Republicans for Harris,” aimed at wooing Trump-skeptical conservatives.

Proof continues to emerge that it’s working. On Sunday, yet another group of influential Republicans—more than a dozen former high-level staffers in former President Ronald Reagan’s administration—voiced their support for Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign and urged other Republicans to follow suit.

In a blistering letter, first reported by CBS, the group invoked the title of Reagan’s famous 1964 speech, “A Time for Choosing,” he delivered on behalf of Republican presidential candidate Barry Goldwater, which wound up putting the future president on the national map.

“The time for choosing we face today is a choice between integrity and demagoguery, and the choice must be Harris-Walz,” the ex-staffers wrote. “The choice between truth and lies demands support for Harris-Walz. The choice between freedom and suppression of freedoms means support for Harris-Walz. The choice between serving the people and serving the few leads us to support Harris-Walz.”

With the Help of Ex-Reagan Staffers”? They must be all about 90 years old now but I am sure that they all have a deep knowledge of what younger Republicans feeling now and can lead them away from Trump and back into 1980’s Reagan policies. All 90-year-olds that I know have their wizened fingers on the pulse of what people 50- and 60-years younger are thinking.

Let’s talk about those ‘low IQ deplorables.’ Who are they, again? According to Hillary, the ‘basket of deplorables’ are “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic”

I don’t think she mentioned IQ. By the way, do you have proof that IQ is related to Hillary’s five ‘slurs?”

Hillary went on to call out Trump’s “hateful, divisive campaign.” In fact, her campaign was worse–her deplorables comment being the proof.

“Mainstream media” is not the right word because their viewership is a fraction of what it once was. “Legacy media” would be a better term. They have lost over half of their audiences in the last twenty years. I would like to say that other media has taken up that lost audience but unfortunately that is not the case. The shortfall largely comes from a general lack of interest in all news in a growing segment of the general population. It’s a cultural shift in preferences from news to entertainment.

The CIA approached CBS way back in the beginning, towards their inception as a television station. CBS radio was always pro-Democrat. In fact, media has always been pro-Democrat, going back to Woodrow Wilson. None of this is a surprise.

Luce of Time Magazine was also a CIA asset. Read CHAOS by Tom O’Neill and Paul Kengor’s books. I also was just tipped off to Kent Clizbe, a former Fed, now writing for freedom loving Americans. He has extensive knowledge of covert operations from his experience, and he writes on Substack.

You basically named one and it’s the same one clowns like you mention every time–Fox. So repetitive. How about CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS, NPR, MSNBC, CNN, TBS–Huge TV media enterprises. Now do print: Washington Post, NY Times, LA Times, big national print media. You could also pick nearly every large metropolitan newspaper including their online news. Now do radio. Now do online news sources that are not fringe on either side. How about Google/YouTube, Apple, Microsoft, Meta/Facebook–you know, the MASSIVE GLOBAL search, phone and social media behemoths. And all the left ever says is “Fox”. Every. Time.

Like I say about Harris supporters–tell me why you support her without using Trump’s name or citing abortion (which SCOTUS has ruled is no a national issue he can control any more than the left can). Good luck.

LOL, so let’s compare market reach, market value, subscribers, etc of Apple, Google, Microsoft, Meta and the reach of the other orgs vs your non-Fox list like OAN or Newsmax.

Stop, it’s silly.

Who brags every day about being the highest rated 24 hour news channel? Fox?

What percentage of AM radio shows are conservative (90+ percent).

As Fox has gotten “not right enough”, what channels have increased market share the most? Newsmax and OAN.

Any “news” consumer can get their news wherever they want. And, as with the electorate, it’s about 50/50. And, since these outlets operate in a capitalistic framework, they have all found that “telling the news” does not bring in the ratings. Appealing to one side or the other, regardless of “truth” is the way to make profits.

And, it’s the same on both sides.

Mish tends to point out the “left leaning” hits, while ignoring that “right leaning” outlets do the same, if not worse, on a daily basis, 24/7.

Yeah AM radio channels are close in size, stature and reach as Apple, Google, Meta/Facebook, Microsoft. I mean ffs. We saw that reach during the pandemic when they censored everything and tracked our phones even if we disabled location-based services. I mean can you reasonably argue that YouTube (Google), MSN/Microsoft, Apple, Google/Android and even Amazon via “Search” results curation are well, gosh, gee, almost the same as those 90% AM radio stations? Apparently so, but you’re just being silly.

No one can reasonably point soley to Fox while ignoring those behemoth enterprises I just mentioned. Where does Alphabet/Google, MSFT, AMZN, AAPL fit vs the reach of Fox? Their market share growth has grown because there is no other conservative MSM voice and I would argue they are not very conservative. Your argument makes the point–there is only ONE MSM voice vs 1,000 Left voices and the size, scope and reach is beyond compare. Now add in how large the Federal government is and how they themselves vote–do you think they don’t abuse that power to persuade from within? Now add in universities, governance of the largest U.S. cities.

I am surprised the conservatives fair so well given the disparity but I believe it’s due to bad policy on the left that ultimately becomes distasteful the more one grows older and the more left the left has moved.

True, but those of us who grew up before Fox News used to think of CBS, NBC, ABC, as “the news” (unbiased) until it became apparent that they were pro-Dem, anti-GOP. Thus the rise of Fox, and its popularity for people who have rebelled against totalitarianism (one way of thought, one party). Conservative media usually portrays Dems as wrongheaded, while liberal media portrays GOP as immoral and “hateful”, which is how you get multiple assassination attempts on Trump. If we ever have re-education camps, it will be at the hands of libs, not conservatives. You know it’s true if you search your heart…

El Capitan

I disagree completely.

In my opinion, other news was more “middle of the road” back in the day, even the now hated CNN. When Fox news came around, with it’s laughably ludicrous slogan “Fair and Balanced” and proceeded to take such market share, the other networks had no choice but to respond and go left.

Conservative media is brutal to liberals, all day every day. And portrays anyone who isn’t in lockstep with them as radicals, pussies, socialists, communist, baby killers, sex traffickers, pedo’s, etc.

Liberals I know are nothing of the sort.

What amazes me is that Fox has been able to do all this, somehow going from supporting people like Bush, McCain, Romney, etc, and then now doing it somehow supporting Trump who is the complete opposite of Fox’s former favorite “conservatives”.

It’s clear that Fox is in it to make money, to stir the pot. But they thankfully provide an alternative to the drivel on the left.

I listen to NPR. Some of their segments are of value (i.e. Marketplace). But 97% of the time they’re all about pumping liberal values. They’ll have a Republican Congressman on, argue and debate with them and then have a roundtable with their “in house” expert…after the guest is off the air, to repudiate everything the guest said. Every sentence they speak, all day, is carefully crafted and framed in such a way as to abhor conservative values. Sometimes I wonder if these seemingly intelligent folks ever get tired of pimping the same BS day in and day out. I really do wish NPR was required to employ and do programs from BOTH liberal and conservative points of view. That would be an incredible public service.

All you need to know is Kamala Harris said she would use the DoJ to go after social media companies unless they censor “misinformation”. As deifined by the lying scum of the US Government, who are controlled by the “CIA” and lie about every single thing

Donald Trump on the other hand said he would immediately issue an executive order preventing EVERY member of the Executive Branch from engaging in censoship by contacting social media or 3rd parties to contact social media to censor.

That is a direct repudiation of the Supreme Court which has authorized unlimited Government Censorship as long as it is not direct.

If you have censorship, you no longer have democracy. At all. No informed public. All voting completely meaningless

I wrote about all of these things at my substack bangpath.substack.com

Those who censor are the threat to Democracy. That means Democrats and the “CIA” Candidate Kamala Harris

As for CBS. 2 things. 1. The 2020 election was in fact stolen. Joe Biden is not a legitimately elected President. And 2. Jan 6 was an FBI/CIA entrapment scheme to prevent any challenges to the electors on the floor of Congress.

CBS is lying CIA controlled media. The only reason to watch it is to see what the “CIA” is saying. Everything CBS and all corporate media says is a lie. About everything.
