One of the Strongest Voices Urging Biden to Stay in the Race Is Hunter

Here’s an amusing article from the New York Times on who is urging the President not to drop out.

Camp David Huddle

The New York Times reports Biden’s Family Tells Him to Keep Fighting as They Huddle at Camp David

President Biden’s family is urging him to stay in the race and keep fighting despite last week’s disastrous debate performance, even as some members of his clan privately expressed exasperation at how he was prepared for the event by his staff, people close to the situation said on Sunday.

Mr. Biden huddled with his wife, children and grandchildren at Camp David while he tried to figure out how to tamp down Democratic anxiety. While his relatives were acutely aware of how poorly he did against former President Donald J. Trump, they argued that he could still show the country that he remains capable of serving for another four years.

Mr. Biden has been soliciting ideas from advisers about how to proceed, and his staff has been discussing whether he should hold a news conference or sit for interviews to defend himself and change the narrative, but nothing has been decided yet.

One of the strongest voices imploring Mr. Biden to resist pressure to drop out was his son Hunter Biden, whom the president has long leaned on for advice, said one of the people informed about the discussions, who, like others, spoke on condition of anonymity to share internal deliberations.

Political Malpractice

I said in advance that the format that Biden insisted on would benefit Trump.

Turning off the mics when not speaking was brilliant (for Trump). It forced Trump to behave.

Tulsi Gabbard Chimes In

Tulsi: The problem isn’t just that Biden is old. The problem is he’s insane. Only a madman would not consider a nuclear holocaust/war an existential threat, saying “the ONLY existential threat to humanity is climate change.”

I am a big Tulsi Fan. Someone like her is the future of the party.

What a fantastic speech.

Marco Rubio Suddenly Emerges on Trump’s Short VP List, Why?

I last discussed Tulsi on June 22 in Marco Rubio Suddenly Emerges on Trump’s Short VP List, Why?

Tulsi Gabbard Rings All Six Bells

Tusli is a womanyoung, an amazing speakernot MAGA, a person of color, and a moderate on abortion. She’s also attractive which may matter to a lot of men.

She rings six of six bells.

I believe Trump would win in a landslide if he picked Gabbard. The base would not like that pick, but so what? Is Trump seeking adulation or does he want to win?

In terms of winning, it may no longer matter who Trump picks. But if Trump wants to win in a landslide, Tulsi is a great choice.

For the Good of the Nation, Biden Needs to Stay in the Race

In case you missed it, please see For the Good of the Nation, Biden Needs to Stay in the Race

If you are a Republican, you should want Biden to hang on, willing to take your chances on Trump beating him.

Trump would not be my choice for many reasons. At the top of the list, I am a free market, mind my own business Libertarian.

But there is no chance of changing the Republican end of the ticket. The saving grace for Biden is he may the one person Trump is most likely to beat.

Bill Maher has similar thoughts: “The whole rationale for Biden running has always been I’m the only guy who can beat Trump. Now I think it’s inverted. He’s the only guy who can lose to him.”

Four More Months!

Unlike Maher, I think Trump would beat many if not most Democratic candidates. But I prefer not to find out.

Republicans should be openly rooting for Biden to hang on.

Having just cared for an elder with dementia, who eventually went to hospice and passed, and having learned a lot about dementia, the hoi polloi are missing dementia’s affects on Biden’s actions. Dementia progresses, and it starts with the person acting normal in the AM and then later they sundown and the effects manifest, whereby the person starts living in a non-reality that exists in their head, often time-shifting to earlier times in their life. You can’t argue with that reality or with them, nor can you reason with them. A common strategy to help them, is to distract them from the world in their head to something else more appealing to them.

From a practical point of view, Biden likely thinks he’s a great president, and that anyone who supports Trump is an existential threat to democracy. Biden might also be aware of his involvement in the conspiracy(treason?) against Trump, and hates Trump for the reason he might be held accountable with scenes of his past meetings on the spying upon Trump playing in his head, and how the Steele dossier frame up job imploded on itself. Just yesterday, I hear a liberal on CNN/MSNBC (I like to see what they’re saying) bring up Trump’s Russian ties yet again. They won’t stop with the BS.

I doubt Jill and Hunter could talk him out of running, even assuming they are compassionate and don’t want Joe to suffer from the conflict between what’s in his head and the reality of major problems in the world (which would be the compassionate action). But it seems Jill and Hunter like the power.

After JB used Hunter to do his dirty business, Hunter is now using his dad to attempt to protect him from his crimes, in a sad and strange turnabout, that seems like karma.

Observations:

First, Clinton and Obama are to be admired. They both came out with “this is just one debate” statements. Sober. Cool headed. What we want in a president. Big, big contrast to their side’s “panic” both in word and deed!

Second, notice the craftsmanship of the @WarClandestine NBC clip. Look at the fine print – the dates on the Biden clips. They start with 2018 and run up to now. Each clip of Biden is later in time and weaker in Biden. Our minds extrapolate such a smooth line to the future.

Third: In their panic, Biden cheerleaders are not all on the same page about who to run for president. That fact argues against there being a single wizard behind the MSN curtain. Such a wizard would already be trotting out the new horse.

Fourth, I had to laugh at the NBC description of Biden, “who agreed to the earliest debate…”. “Agreed”? Is that the word they wanted?

Fifth, CNN ran a good show. Super-exceeded expectations. It’s a shame that they deserve a blue ribbon for simply doing their job but we can hope others will follow their lead, compete, and do even better.

Me too, and I predicted his 2020 debate would be a disaster, but I was just too early in my prediction, and his dementia didn’t manifest during that debate. They want to blame his demented performance on something else like a cold, over preparation, and his staff so he can say he’s competent.

How would any of that lead him to think no US soldiers were killed on his watch, the Border Patrol endorsed him, and the other blatant mistruths? Dementia patients have very poor memories, and it shows with Joe.

Jill is the one making the decision and she won’t give up her perks. Another reason Joe won’t drop out is he can’t be prosecuted while he’s in office. He’s hoping something will happen to Trump at the last minute to swing the election. He doesn’t want to have to pardon Hunter until after the election.

One should mention, the most likely path to nuclear war lies through Israel. Nutty-Yahoo is desperate to save his skin and rescue his failed policy in Gaza by expanding the war into Lebanon. That would be a disaster.

I agree Tulsi would be a great VP. She is fantastic on foreign policy and would bolster Trump’s inclination against foreign wars. Unfortunately, she is not so great on domestic issues. I think her heart is in the right place. Also it’s not a bad thing to see a lot more of Tulsi.

If I were a Voter, I would be an EXTREMELY SHALLOW VOTER by choice and inclination.

Thus, the ONLY qualifying factor for President would be their appearance. Since I am not Gay, Tulsi is my choice. My choice is directly proportional to whether or not she would accept me as her Lover. I would accept her as my Lover so my vote would be for Tulsi for President.

How are you sure she would accept you as her lover? The hotter the chick, the less likely she is to accept you. Hillary should be been your choice 😉

If I were a voter (I’m Canadian so I’m disenfranchised), my only criteria would be to vote for the candidate that was going to put the most money in my pocket (lower taxes, give away etc).

Who will replace Joe if he steps down? Interesting to note that Hilary has been releasing new “campaigny” merch on her website. Could it be a “Biden is too old…Hilary: Hold my beer” moment? One thing that is for sure: if she ends up being the nominee, the spin/lies would be that she is reluctantly being pressed into service for the good of the country, blah, blah. So we get a rematch of 2016 because she has a proven record of getting more popular votes even though she lost the elector count. Think about it: Hilary wouldn’t have to campaign except for a few months (even less than Joe if that’s even possible). Tulsi as VP as a young female would be a stark contrast to an old Hilary dressed in her Hefty bag outfits to hide the colostomy bag or whatever she’s wearing underneath.
Tulsi makes so much sense as a VP that it probably won’t happen. I expect someone like Rubio to pull in the neocon vote.

Although MAGA is all about “This Land is your Land, this Land is my Land” it has not just sprung up out of the DC void in the past couple years.
The roots of it are the disenfranchised voters who have been against the DC uniparty for over 20 years. They have been subject to all the slings and arrows imaginable and paid a heavy price for doing so.

Now there are all sorts of people joining up. Wall street is discovering Biden is a very expensive business cost. So they are coming in for Trump.
Tulsi would bring with her those who recently discovered that Dem party is not at all what they believed it to be. Like Biden their champion, the Dem party is a party of Frauds.
However those who have borne the Brunt of a Nation which lost its’ way in hatred are justifiably recalcitrant at possibly getting marginalized, as the new Kids in town frantically waving their hands, oh pick me, pick me.

If Tulsi Gabbard or someone else makes their pitch they should also demonstrate they are on board with those who have been taking the Heat for a Long time.

He’ll pick an older man closer to his own age, with a calm demeanor unlike his own, and who has a specific skill or connection that he needs.
In 2016, Mike Pence had strong ties to the Christian community. This time, Doug Burgum is said to be a good fundraiser.

Democrats wait 10 days for Trump’s sentencing and then grab the headlines. Where’s Claudius and the Praetorian guard when you need them? The US is now officially a Mike Judge movie.

I’m interested in the secondary effects that are likely to be subtle in regard to pulling away from the US Empire. Russia/China are looking like shining examples of governance compared to this continuing mess. That’s unfortunate…

Whatever it takes – Hunter, Dr Jill, whoever – we need to get the entire foreign policy apparatus out of there before they get us blown up, which is the current unavoidable trajectory. The likelihood that Newsom or Whitmer would reverse course seems around zero, so Biden staying in and losing to Trump seems our best hope. Tariffs, tax rates, etc. These are minor issues compared to avoiding nuclear war and the whole American military industrial intelligence complex has delusions of grandeur and they’re unable and to consider others’ perspective. Unfortunately for them – and us – Russia gets a vote, and Russia is unwilling to be disassembled as the Atlanticists want.

I think this Hunter thing is to deflect attention from the real power broker in there – “Dr.” Jill Biden. (As an aside, I have noticed that only people with bullshit doctorate degrees insist that they must be addressed as “Dr.”, as Jill Biden does).

The word is that Jill threatened to go scorched earth if the party tried to replace Joe. As a result, 0-bama had to call off the coup attempt. So, they are stuck with Joe now and will most probably go down in flames in the elections.
