Education and Health provided 92 percent of the jobs.
Please consider the ADP® National Employment Report for February 2026.
I normally produce my own charts, but this morning I received the following message: “The National Employment Report historical data file made available on the ADP website this morning was out of date. We currently are in the process of updating the file.“
ADP Details
Private employers added 63,000 jobs in February.
Hiring jumped in February, delivering the best showing for job gains since July 2025. Construction and education and health services led the growth.
We’ve seen an increase in hiring and pay gains remain solid, especially for job-stayers. But with hiring concentrated in only a few sectors, our data shows no widespread pay benefit from changing jobs. In fact, the pay premium for switching employers hit a record low in February.

Winners and Losers by Sector
Big Winner: Education/health services added 58,000 of the 63,000 net total, 92 percent of the jobs.
Second Winner. Construction (no doubt AI-Related), provided 19,000 jobs, 30 percent of the jobs.
Big Loser: Professional/business services subtracted 30,000.
Manufacturing lost jobs again. This is the 23rd month in a row of manufacturing losses, subject to revisions and data confirmation.
Construction may be adding jobs, at least according to ADP in February, but overall construction for the fourth quarter had major negative revisions in October.
For discussion, please see Expect a Negative Revision to 2025 Q4 GDP. Two Reasons
A recent construction report revision suggests a negative revision to GDP.

Little of the economy is humming other than AI, and private education and health care.

Can’t have too much health or too much education.

Americans are not only winning so much they need a break, they must now also be the healthiest and best-informed population ever, LOL
The tariff induced manufacturing ramp is experiencing a marked lag.

Please respond with values denominated in US dollars.
current rate $25/hr
Big winners = healthcare industry, 63,000 jobs, but none of those jobs were doctors or nurses. So…
Big losers = patients, who have to pay more to cover 63,000 useless admin salaries
OT, but who could have predicted Bitcoin would surge 15% after the war started yet gold would remain flat?
People are preparing to change countries in a somewhat unorthodox manner, I would guess, and gold is heavy and easy to take from you.
Iran: “We have plenty of missiles remaining…”
Uncle Sugar: “We are nowhere near running out of missiles…”
One of the above is lying…and we’re going to find out who soon enough.
Iran’s defenses are limited and its offense is a fart in the wind.
From what Israel is saying, Iran is the new Gaza.
Meanwhile the U.S. is spending $750 million to $! billion per day.Being careful to preserve the oil infrastructure that is quietly being captured on behalf of the oligarchs.
That spending will be reflected in GDP as war spending is included in GDP and directly cancels any slowing of the overall economy.
Expect small business bankruptcies to accelerate and the average Americans standard of living to fall while overall stress levels rise.
Debt levels continue to spiral out of control.
Endgame is?
Have you seen pictures of Tel Aviv? Of course, not. Israel censures the publication of pictures of attack sites and punishes infractions severely. Still, there are pictures out there and Tel Aviv looks like Gaza, but the Zionist press will not publish them.
Appreciate your sense of humor!
Reality says different and in many ways I am happy to be on the side that is winning. FYI everyone reading this has access to weather satellite data that has not shown significant smoke from anywhere in Israel.
Iran is a different story, smoke in many places.

According to evangelicals, a magical shield is supposed to protect this holy land. Not sure why it failed.
That video is repeated loops of a small number of missiles landing. Contained damage on a scale that is less than 1% damage rate of Iran.
Look at the weather satellites right now…
Where is the smoke?
Iran, not Israel.
We are absolutely winning ~ and decisively!
Iran doesn’t even have anyone from the old regime speaking for the country at this time. Their military is absolutely being wiped out and U.S. strikes are victorious.
It should be interesting to see who Fox News choses for Iran’s new leader/
😉
It’s because God was busy facepalming at all the dipshits that followed the antichrist. He was expecting some… maybe 5 or 10%, but 30?
Every day, we get the same THREE news items, across all the news outlets. Some scraps of video and endless reams of talking heads telling us what to think about it.
It’s bullshit, all the way down.
Daily interest on the debt is about 3 billion PER DAY, makes $750mm-$1billy look like a dealio.
Either way, this ship is going down….parked right next to the Iranian navy and Spongebob Squarepants.
I hear jobs in the military are gonna be on the rise soon.
In Soviet America, job get you!
At present the US is one of the least healthy nations on the planet because of its lifestyle choices.
Poor diet is expressed epigenetically in obesity and diabetes. Those diseases are literally a choice!
Sedentary habits and chair surfing are quiet killers.
It is often stated that “America is a nation fed by a food industry that pays no attention to health and treated by a health system that pays no attention to food”.
It is true but the sedentary lifestyle situation is at least as damaging to health.
What exactly are “Education” jobs? I ask because in two of the largest counties in Texas they are shutting down public schools. We are in a demographic death spiral and there aren’t enough kids to enter college nor K-12 so what are these jobs?
Healthcare is obvious, the population is aging and half the people I know are needing knee, hip, or other surgery or they are getting some type of cancer.

Okay I looked it up and it seems it’s teachers and museum & librarians. Libraries are being shutdown too. Trump has forced the closure of lots of museums. The job report makes no sense.

The education jobs are in “Special needs” children.
The fact that our children are locked inside virtually all day and have so little interaction with the outside world is exceptionally damaging and stunts their physical and mental development.
Do not expect things to get better on this front anytime soon.
The lack of intellectual development, medical costs, demographic and social implications of “latch key” children are immense and growing.
Therefor that is where the jobs are…
Why do they have a latch key if they don’t go outside?
Coming back from a computer at school to their XBox at home, a latchkey is briefly needed
=63,000 ADP Jobs Gains in February
350 mil in USA
250*270 mil working age
and somehow somebody pays attention to this monthly figure.
it is less then 1/10 of 1% of labor pool!
alx
And it gets revised away months later…
