Gaza Will Be “Entirely Destroyed” Says Top Israeli Official

Israel is no longer hiding the genocide as Trump stands by watching.

Gaza Will Be “Entirely Destroyed”

CBS News reports Israeli Official Says Gaza Will Be “Entirely Destroyed”

Israel’s far-right Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich said Tuesday that a victory for Israel in Gaza would mean the Palestinian territory being “entirely destroyed” before its inhabitants depart for other countries.

“Gaza will be entirely destroyed, civilians will be sent to… the south to a humanitarian zone without Hamas or terrorism, and from there they will start to leave in great numbers to third countries,” the firebrand top official said at a conference on Jewish settlement in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

The plan to expand military operations, approved by Israel’s security cabinet late Sunday night, includes holding territories in the besieged Gaza Strip and moving the population south “for their protection,” according to Israeli officials.

Israel’s hardline Minister of Defense Israel Katz said in mid-April, about a month into the blockade, that the policy aimed at pressuring Hamas to capitulate and release the hostages would not change.

“Israel’s policy is clear: no humanitarian aid will enter Gaza, and blocking this aid is one of the main pressure levers preventing Hamas from using it as a tool with the population,” he said. “No one is currently planning to allow any humanitarian aid into Gaza, and there are no preparations to enable such aid.”

That was followed on April 23 by a flat denial from the Israeli Foreign Ministry of any hunger crisis in Gaza whatsoever.

Operation Gideon’s Chariots”

Please consider Operation “Gideon’s Chariots”

The announcement of Israel’s plan to launch imminently a new, expanded offensive in Gaza and to retain the territory it seized is a significant moment, at least in terms of public rhetoric.

Throughout the nearly 19-month war, Israeli troops have carried out large and frequently bloody operations that have covered all except central parts of Gaza, but they have largely restricted their permanent presence to a buffer zone about 1km deep along the devastated territory’s perimeter and two relatively narrow east-west corridors.

This now seems to have changed. Once “Operation Gideon’s Chariots” is under way, Israel will send its troops across much – if not all – of Gaza, and will seek to establish a “sustained presence” there, Israel officials said.

Israeli officials are also talking openly about the displacement of Palestinians to southern Gaza, and their potential “voluntary” displacement from the territory altogether to allow the implementation of the reconstruction plan announced by the US president, Donald Trump, in January. The far-right Israeli finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich, told Israelis on Monday to embrace the word “occupation”.

The Israeli prime minister also offers little to the majority of Israelis who call for a ceasefire deal to secure the release of the hostages. His coalition still depends heavily on the support of far-right parties who are very happy with the prospect of the new offensive and the prospect of a “sustained” Israeli presence in Gaza. Netanyahu now appears likely to remain in power for the 15 months or so until the next elections.

On Monday – among all the outrage and enthusiasm generated by Operation Gideon’s Chariots – the announcement that Israel’s security cabinet had decided not to establish “at this time” a state commission of inquiry into the failures that allowed that attack [the Hamas surprise 2023 attack] to take place went almost unnoticed.

Any inquiry should wait until the war has ended, Netanyahu told Israelis.

Very long time reader of Mish, trying to understand this post. Why is moving the population to the south to dismantle Hamas a genocide? They obviously need to get rid of Hamas, how else would they do it? Why is Smotrich who is the farthest right in the entire gov. being quoted as if he represents the entirety of the gov.?

If they end up implementing Smotrich’s plan it will be labeled as ‘ethnic cleansing’. To me ethnic cleansing needs to have racial motivation and I believe the Israeli’s are just tired of running to bomb shelters all the time and having lunatics hack people to death in the streets. There are millions of Arabs living in Israel who are ethnically identical to the Palestinians and they aren’t going anywhere.

Genocide is the the deliberate mass killing of an ethnic group with the aim of destroying that group – which this does not remotely resemble. A better word would be ‘war’. War is catastrophic.

Israel danced around war for decades telling themself the lie that minimal miliary incursions would be enough to keep things at bay until on Oct 7th exploded the delusion. This is war and this is what’s necessary to protect your country which is their moral obligation, despite the horrors and world’s collective swoon.

They need to get rid of Hamas. Hamas steals the humanitarian aid (with the aim of depriving their own people and sending the world’s blog-writers into paroxysm of virtue, which by far is Hamas’ greatest & most effective weapon). I don’t know a clean way to fight an impossible war and I suspect, neither do you.

In any case people have been yelling imminent starvation in Gaza for well over a year. I don’t think there’s any starvation. Maybe at some point there will be. It’s just another weaponized narrative against Israel in a world that never seems to care about any other conflict or suffering except when Israel can be portrayed as the perpetrator. Michael Ames (who has a lot of cred) just wrote an investigative article about the issue which can be read here – https://www.thefp.com/p/the-gaza-famine-myth

For 2000 years jews were oppressed and killed. Their only defense was a liberal king who protected them. In the ME it’s all about power. The hasidic jews hate Israel for 77 years. They refuse to serve in a winning army which protect them. The liberal jews are mostly pacifist. They always feel guilty about something. Now they feel guilty about dead palestinians. For Tel Aviv elite 20 hostages are more important than winning a war and finishing off Hamas. Foreign entities support them. For decades the IDF attacked the Islamic Jihad while sparing Hamas. That illusion and fantasia was over in Oct 7 2023. Hamas failed to conquer Jerusalem. Their fighters can no longer hide behind civilian population in or under hospitals, schools, UNRA, safe zones and mosques. Bibi survived Obama and Biden. Trump and Bibi bet on a systemic change which will reduce the risk of burning the ME war. If it works within a decade both Israelis and palestinians will live in a democratic state, a gate between east and west, north and south which will benefit palestinians the most. Sentiment is the enemy of successful gamblers.

Yes, open genocide and ethnic cleansing. General De Gaulle saw it coming and this is why he was against the Balfour declaration: “The Jews will do to the Palestinians what the Nazis did to them”. He was right, unfortunately.

De Gaulle and Israel produced nukes in the 1950’s. De Gaulle sold fighter planes and tanks to Israel. The British, the French and Israel raided the Suez canal in 1956. In 1967 De Gaulle warned Israel to ignore Nasser 100K troops in the Sinai desert and the closure of the Suez canal to Israeli ships. Turkey massacred one million Armenians. Erdogan killed Kurds and destroyed their villages. Three millions Indians died in starvation. India and Pakistan massacred each other. Reverse colonialism plagued Europe since the 50’s. British, French and the Germans kids are taught in school to be ashamed of themselves. Chinese and the Russians kids are proud of their history and victories. U can’t run a superstate feeling guilty about the bloody old days. That’s why woke is out. The Europeans leaders like what Bibi is doing. He actually did introduce a respite on Day 1, showing that the Israeli hound cannot do anything contrary to the will of the Master. Same is true with respect to Iran.

Israel needs US technology, ordinance, weapons, financial support.
It requires permission to cross Arab land occupied by Americans or their proxies.
It needs refueling, AWACs, electronic warfare, Air Defense, and flanking squadrons.
It needs ISR, satellite reconnaissance, signals intelligence, decryption modules for signals receivers need to be configured. This all requires active American participation and hands on American operatives.

What Israel is dping snt’ right at this point and hasn’t been for a long time snce Oct 7.

But. The fact is Israel has a history of keeping its peace deals with countries it has fought wars against. Historical enemies with whom it made peace that has lasted, because those countries stuck to those agreements. it made peace with Egypt and Jordan, which had killed many Israelis in wars. they gave back Sinai for peace with Egypt and that peace stuck. They gave Gaza to the Palestinians for peace and got rocket attacks within a month.
Al of Israel’s oppression has been in response to being attacked. After oct 7, Israelis have apparently had enough and don’t give AF.

We should disentangle ourselves. there are many and worse situations globallly you dont’ hear about nearly as much (Darfur for example) because we’re not involved.

Okay, a split decision. Whatever the prior history, the October invasion, massacres, and hostage takings by Hamas pretty much gave Israel the right to invade Gaza and destroy Hamas. Hamas and their fellow Gazains   had no intention of having any type of civil society or doing anything other than waging war on Israel to get the land they lost in back in 1948.  (But Israel never really provided them any help in that direction, either).
A problem is that, at some point this effort became not just the elimination of Hamas but the elimination of the population of  Gaza. Also,  Israel is stealing the land and homes from the ‘Palestinian/non-Jewish’ population on the West bank. The Jewish ‘settlers’ are, in my opinion, religious fascists who are committing genocide  of this population, with the full acceptance of the government. Given their slow extermination, the ‘palestinian’/non-Israeli  West bank residents will probably decide to go down fighting also.
Last thought: if one believes in reincarnation (as I do),  could Jewish souls be reborn into non-Jewish populations (and vice versa)? I would be interesting if that were the case…

You need to keep up with the news, fake Victoria.

Effectively, the ICJ Appeals court dismissed Israel’s appeal as moot because the warrants are invalid and should not have been issued in the first place.

The legal world is a lot more nuanced than public opinion, as I frequently have to remind people.

ICC Appeals Court reverses lower court in favor of Israel

By YONAH JEREMY BOB

April 24, 2025

The Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Court on Thursday reversed the November 2024 ruling of the ICC lower court against Israel’s jurisdictional objections to the issuing of arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and then Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

The decision sends the jurisdictional fight back to the ICC lower court to more fully explore Israel’s jurisdictional objections to the arrest warrants and to the ICC’s intervention into Israel’s conduct of the current war in Gaza more generally.

“The decision of the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Court in The Hague to order a hearing on Israel’s claims that the court lacks jurisdiction to deal with the issue at hand illustrates the injustice done to Prime Minister Netanyahu and the former Minister of Defense, when the court issued ridiculous orders without having the authority to do so,” sources close to the prime minister said.

According to the ICC Appeals Court, “Israel’s challenge to the jurisdiction of the Court pursuant to article 19(2) of the Statute should not have been dismissed as premature.

The ICC lower court had said that the arrests could go forward even if there was no final determination on Israel’s jurisdictional objections as these objections could be dealt with at the indictment stage or some other later stage.

In contrast, the ICC Appeals Court said that leaving Israel’s objections to ICC jurisdiction until later was unlawful.

On the merits of the appeal, the Appeals Chamber concluded that the Pre-Trial Chamber committed an error of law by failing to sufficiently address Israel’s argument that it was entitled to make a jurisdictional challenge under article 19(2)(c) of the Statute.

In light of the above, the Appeals Chamber dismissed, as moot, Israel’s request for suspensive effect of two arrest warrants issued after the Impugned Decision and “any other legal acts taken by the Court based thereon”.

What legal authorities are you referring to? The international institutions are all in the pocket of the West, which by extension means of the Jewish oligarchs ruling and controlling it.
If they weren’t, Israel would have long been as sanctioned and isolated as North Korea for having violated the NPT and we wouldn’t be talking about sending IAEA inspectors to Iran but to Israel, which actually has nuclear bombs and has already menaced several times of using them.

The regime in Tel Aviv must be denuclearized and the Jews must experience first hand the joys of the multiculturalism and the diversity that they preach to us.

That Israel is in violation of the NPT is not a “viewpoint”, it’s a fact.
That Israel has not been subjected to sanctions and international isolation and condemnation because of it is not a “viewpoint”, it’s a fact.
That Israel has nuclear bombs and has threatened multiple times to use them is not a “viewpoint”, it’s a fact.

The only empty and useless “viewpoints” here are yours.

And you haven’t answered the question: what legal authorities were you referring to that should or shoud not make “legally relevant” the accusation to Israel of genociding the Palestinians?

Well that’s about the only thing I probably disagree with. Israel’s intent is, IMHO, ‘only’ full ethnic cleansing, they don’t care if all Palestinians die or leave as long as they get all the land. Keeping sympathy and support of the Christians forces Israel to pretend being reasonable, and act like a victim.

Compare the situation with a thief who only wants your car, house, any other possessions and maybe abuse your daughter. He doesn’t want you to die, but wouldn’t mind if you did either. You are more likely to wish him dead, or to take back the garage at least, and with any of those actions he can use to portray himself as the victim. Nasty situation.

The Houthis gave up or Trump threw in the towel?

In a Vietnam War documentary, Sen. Max Cleland of Georgia once recounted an interrogation of a captured NVA colonel that he was present during. It went something like this:

American interrogator: Who’s winning the war?

NVA colonel: Obviously, you are.

Interrogator: When will American forces achieve final victory?

Colonel: Never.

Interrogator: Now wait just a second. You just said we’re winning the war!

Colonel: You’re winning the war right now, but you’re going home.

Sen. Cleland said time proved the colonel right. The USA went home, abandoning Vietnam to be a sovereign country. It’s also what happened to US forces in Afghanistan. American forces went home, abandoning Afghanistan to the Taliban. It’s what happened to US forces bombing Yemen. They’re going home, abandoning the Red Sea to the Houthis.

When white colonists conduct ethnic cleansing campaigns in North America and the Middle East, they’re “settlers.” You have to be white to be a settler. That’s the rule. They’re “settling” the land. White people violently moving into the West Bank to steal houses are “West Bank settlers.” Mexicans moving into Texas to build useful houses for Texans are never “north bank settlers” but rather “troublemakers” as they have a darker skin complexion similar to the Palestinians.

The Palestinians, just like the Native American tribes, are not victims of genocide, they just get disappeared because the white religious people decided killing babies is “god’s will”, sort of like when Rev. Billy Graham urged President Nixon to bomb dikes to kill a million Vietnamese peasant families. White religious people just have a knack for knowing when their god wants numerous heaping piles of dead babies.

People really should not post about things they don’t understand. Let me help you clarify your thinking with a salient excerpt from the Genocide Convention:

“According to the Convention, genocide is a crime that can take place both in time of war as well as in time of peace. The definition contained in Article II of the Convention describes genocide as a crime committed with the intent to destroy a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, in whole or in part.

https://www.un.org/en/genocideprevention/documents/Genocide_Convention_FactSheet_ENG_2023.pdf

What Israel is doing MIGHT be considered ethnic cleansing but it is NOT genocide. The word has been cheapened by how liberally it is thrown about, as you and so many others have been wont to do.

Further, notice that in order to have a genocide, INTENT to commit genocide must be shown.

I challenge you to show any Israelis government person in an official capacity expressing such INTENT.

Aldo, your personal interpretation of what is INTENT is of no matter. INTENT would have to be demonstrated in a strict legal context in a court of law, such as the ICC/ICJ.

The place could have been an ocean resort with a great lifestyle for all there, Now, the ground structure is incapable of being rebuilt until the land is refilled. And who brought all this on? Hamas! And when Arafat was offered everything that he said he wanted as well as for the West Bank, he still turned Israel down Then he order the Intifada; and here we are, listening to Mish bitch about so-called Israeli unrighteousness, while he sidesteps the culprits within Hamas and the Palestinian people’s own political turmoil there.

The internet amplifies all kinds of tropes such as claims that Russia is the best-run country, Putin is the greatest leader ever, Ukraine isn’t a sovereign country or that China is a land where everyone has the freedom to think and believe as they please.

Decades ago before the internet, people who distrusted mainstream media and subscribed to conspiracy theories were largely isolated, limited to small circles and low-tech means of communication like newsletters or street-corner speeches. Their reach and influence was restricted and minimal, rightly I say.

Sadly, the internet, most often via blogs and social media, has given these fringe voices, examples of which we see among us here too frequently, almost unrestricted visibility, allowing them to organize and spew misinformation wantonly.

We must fight against these voices of misinformation!

If there are no fixed borders there cannot be peace. Israel has consistently diminished and physically divided the Palastinian state since Israel was founded. Israel is living the “lebensraum” (yes, lebensraum-look it up) dream where there is a specious “historical” claim and “divine” right to as much land as they “need”

Try taking over some of your neighbor’s land. Then some more. Cut their trees down. Build a storage barn on their land. Then sit their and wonder why they are coming after you.

Mystery, ain’t it?

this is a misrepresentation of what has hapened. Israel has taken land after being attacked. Cause and effect is temporal. for 20 years after the 67 war Palestinians had the right to travel freely from the territories (Gaza and WB) to Israel. Gazans used to have day trips in Tel Aviv.
the “oppression” began with the first intifada and then picked up dignificantly after the second. Prior to 1967 Gaa was Egypt and West Bank was Jordan. That ended when Israel was attacked again. then it left Gaza in 2005 and instead of building a city-state Hams took over and Began firing rockets immediately, using billions in aid not to help its citizens but to build tunnels and buy weapons.

so yes, Israelis at this point clearly don’t give AF but at every stage the cause has been some initiation of violence by Palestinians.

Israel has murdered 100’s/1000’s of Palestinians every year for 80 years, while slowly stealing more and more land.
Now they occupy part of Lebanon and Syria. There is a long term plan of expansion and whatever the Palestinians did Israel would have found a reason to keep expanding, protected by it’s influence over Western media and governments.

you can also say Palestinians murdered 100s/1000s of Israelis for 80 years.

if you tace back every bout of killing by Israelis it is always AFTER a bout of killing by Palestinians .

Palestinians are a culture that hates Jews, which is why the Hamas murderer thought his parents would be proud to hear he killed 10 Jews with his bare hands. Just think about what sort of a society it takes to make a person think that he should call his parents to brag about killing Jews.

Israel hasn’t done anything no other nation on earth hasn’t done, including the 22 Arab nations which are Arab nations because of conquest and colonization. the only indigineouly Arab countries are Saudi Arabia, the gulf states. everything else, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt were conquered by Arabs.
Jews have been massacred for thousands of years, and so they created their own nation which as all other nations wasn’t done withut bloodshed. but no, the world can’t handle it. this is where they have to draw the line.

well, they were in Europe because they were forcibly displaced there by the Romans.

But that was a long time ago.

And there was a big community of Jews in Palestine that never left. Also, it’s annoying when everyone points to the Jews, like the Turks didn’t invade and run the place for 400 years. And the Persians and Arab dynasties before then.

in 1947 Palestinians were offered something they never ever had: sovereignty over a big part of the area they had been in but which they never controlled. Arab nations invaded instead, and lost. At the same time, almost 1 million Jews were expelled from Muslim countries — where were 1 million exiled Jews supposed to go? Europe, where they were still counting the dead in concentration camps (not that Europe or anywhere else offered to take them).

. And, notably, the goal of the Arab countries that invaded in 48 was for them to have taken over the whole place and divvied it up among them– in other words, had Israel lost the 48 war there would still be no Palestine. It would have been split up among Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. this isn’t a theiry, it’s easuly verifiable, it wasn’t a hidden goal of the war, they literally had maps showing the land divided into 4. and until 1967 gaza was Egypt and West Bank was Jordan.

For those who believe “legality” of civilization behavior is “the reason anchor”…..

In the time of the League of Nations and the British mandate (which is considered “legality”) approximately 14% of the inhabitants of “Palestine” were indigenous Jews.

For those who think this way, this is reason by morality.

For those who think the (former Ottoman) status quo of those days constitute a Zionist/Jew colonization, remember, it was ‘legal” (see above). Still, this is a “moral” reasoning attempt.

For those who understand that Power Politics is NOT based upon morality, welcome to the use or real reason. In Palestine, in Ukraine, now in Kashmir and other parts of the world, reality (reason) is based upon what civilizations want and can do.

When will people, and you too, Mish, understand that multiculturalism is a failure?

The war on the Baltic states ended in a peaceful settlement that divided the cultures into different states. Problem solved.

This is why the EU is in so much trouble and will fold eventually. The cultural climate of hatred for past deeds is never forgotten. Plus, the EU never consolidated all of the members’ debt, yet made one currency. That’s going to blow them apart as more EU countries default.

The UN gave Israel its territory, yet never did anything about Gaza. It became a land ungovernable with unwanted Arabs, not Palestinians, there is no such thing as a Palestinian. They are all Arabs from different areas of the Middle East. The area of Gaza is a headache, no nation wants the residents because that means they inherit terrorism too. It would be like bringing in Mexicans to the US, knowing that drug cartels will follow. Oh, wait… That’s how humans roll.

Which group is the worst in the Middle East? They are all equally bad, including Israel. It’d be great if the whole geographic area were left desolate. The world would be a better place.

Gee, Mish, if a rabid group of young thugs came into your neighborhood, gang-raped your wife and daughter, tortured them, mutilated them, then butchered them, and then went after your brother and sons and did similar atrocities before killing them, what would your response be?
Would you get a bunch of your buddies and go burn down every house belonging to the thugs? Would you run the the thugs down with your car and maybe go after them with your Glock? Or would you listen to outsiders who tell you to give aid to the thugs and their neighbors?
Japan bombed Pearl Harbor and killed 2,400 Americans. The USA went to war with Japan and took the war all the way back to Japan, killing over 2 million Japanese in the process. Nobody told the USA to provide aid to the Jap civilians while the war was going on. Nobody demanded the USA to provide food and medicine to the Japs.
But Israel was invaded and attacked by Muslim psychopaths and 1,200 Israelis are murdered. Israel has every right to destroy Gaza if that’s what it takes to exterminate Hamas. And don’t start with the innocent civilians. There are none. Israel offered a million dollar reward to anyone who could provide information on the hostages and not one Gazan stepped forward. That a million Gazans aren’t dead only proves that Israel has fought a ‘cleaner’ war than has ever been fought in recorded history. Push all the Gazans into Egypt or Saudi Arabia. They’ve proved that they don’t belong living next to Israel.

Well over half of the Jews in Israel were themselves or their forbearers, living in the neighboring Arab countries before they were ethnically cleansed in retaliation for the Arabs loss in 1958. Those Jews, plus lots of Jews already living in Palestine, plus European Jews moved in, perfectly legally, bought land, and created businesses. The Ottoman’s reported that as of 1920, roughly 70% of taxes collected in Palestine were paid by the Jews. Today, nearly 2 million Arabs reside in and are citizens of Israel. No one terrorized them or took their land. What you are talking about, terror and ethnic cleansing, is what the Arabs have been doing to the Jews for centuries, mostly with success. Now that it does not work, they are besides themselves. Too bad,

Is there anyone here that doubts, given the resources and support, that the Hamas led Palestinians in Gaza would stop at eliminating Israel if they got the leverage to do so? Would Hamas stop during their conquest to find a two state solution (or any cooperative solution?

Has it NOT been about 100 years of constant struggle/war that the Palestinians have been trying to eliminate Israel? Don’t they feel complete righteousness in doing so?

In the past, has NOT Israel stopped short of eliminating this threat to their welfare and existence?

When, does one civilization, threatened of extinction finally act to eliminate that threat.

I’d same the same for Palestine. If they feel existentially threatened (way of life) are they not doing the same attempt?

NOTE: I ask these questions NOT in support of either civilization. I’ve agnostic on both with one caveat. An Israeli victory is not an encouragement for others to join them in attacking our liberal way of life. Also, I’m not one to consider Israel an ally of the US. I don’t know of any ally benefit America has received that was not also for the benefit of Israel. Our involvement in the mid east has been solely for Saudi oil (ARAMCO) and the religiously driven biblical support of the Jews commanded by Yahweh. (Bless those/curse those).

Elimination of other humans for even theoretical justifiable reasons is hard to take. I get it. But it’s not like there is no cause or need. Is this justified to be called “genocide”?

I do believe you are correct but all the (accommodation?) that Israel believes it has shown really has come to naught over the long course of time. As much as Israel intends to remain and dominate (politically) much (not all, I’ll guess) have the same (fundamentalist) intention to remove Israel from the scene. How long can any civilization live in such a state of being?

I think it comes down to Fundamentalism. I’m guessing many non-fundamentalist Muslims in Israel/Palestine recognize the secular driven economic value/opportunities Israel’s way of economic life offer anyone with the necessary skills and attitudes.

As for the Fundamentalists (of all ilks) it is best for all to purge them from the scene.

I know its harsh but that is the human experience…how (seemingly in a contradictory humanistic way) human civilization advances. As for those willing to seek eternal bliss though dying in attempts to thwart others trying to improve the experience of life, I say, there is a justice in fixing the conflict permanently.

It will be interesting to see which (if any) countries stands up to the plan of a Jewish land grab in Gaza.

An attack on Iran will probably happen once the SPR is refilled a bit more. It benefits Israel and the US (Iran will block oil which will ratchet up pressure on China to capitulate on tariffs since only the US will be able to lift such a blockade and they’ll start by doing it for European oil tankers while ignoring those bound for China).

none of this means I support what Israel has been doing for the past 18 months, I do not, and think we should have come down on Israel hard and demanded an end to the fighting.

Israelis have tried to give up land for peace. Gaza is a perfect example. Tey occupied it for years, then left, uprooting some 20 settlements and dragging away settlers by force. They dug up Jewish cemeteries to move them from those Gazan settlements. they did this for peace. it’s true, they had some blockades but those were supposed to be temporary with Israel planning to remove them if Gaza showed it wouldn’t turn into a terror state. well, it turned into one immediately.

Israelis have been traumatized on Oct 7, and are acting like a powerful nation with PTSD. We should have found a way to intervene fairly instead of supplying Israel, but if you look at the history it’s hard to see how any noiton of peaceful coexistence is a sell to Israel at this point.

Looks like Trump will back this insanity. Looks like an attack on Iran will happen. Looks like he will have no peace with Russia but will escalate the war and support Ukraine. Looks like his tariff strategy is not going to work. Looks like Trump is not America First-far from it. This will not end well for the USA. I have been optimistic and hopeful about Trump at times during his first 100 plus days in office. Don’t feel that way today. I am very worried.

There is no living with Hamas. Israel left Gaza with peace, freedom, and a healthy export economy. Instead they chose to have Hamas and war.

There hasn’t been an election in Gaza since 2006 and, even then, Hamas didn’t get a majority of the vote. Since June of 2007, Gaza has been under an Israeli-backed, Netanyahu-backed, Israeli voter-backed Hamas dictatorship even when Netanyahu said out loud that Hamas was a terrorist organization. Netanyahu supported them anyway and got reelected time and time again by Israeli voters.

But sure, let’s continue the Holocaust and continue to hold Palestinian babies accountable for the actions of a terrorist group that Netanyahu and the Israeli people actively supported and propped up.

Hamas is what you get when your PLO enemy agrees to recognize you, lay down their arms, renounce their claims on 78% of the palestinian mandate and work with Israel while expecting a state in exchange. When the path to a state was continually thwarted by Israelis acting in bad faith, without the slightest intention to stop taking land through settlement, you get armed resistance. Israel wants land more than peace. It cares nothing for justice or respecting others’ rights.

Oh, PS, your claims are false.

Palestinian is a new race created in 1948 of left-over local Arabs who refused to accept citizenship in the new country of Israel (20% of the Arabs did accept and now they and their descendents live a comfortable life in Israel).

The UN, feeling sorry for these stubborn Arabs, most of whom were old, agreed to give them support until they died in the form of their own, dedicated support agency named the UNRWA. This support was intended to be ONLY for the Arabs then existing on the disputed land, not their children and their children and their children, ad infinitum.

Unfortunately, these new Palestinians turned the UNRWA welfare support into a generational benefit and we can see how hard it is to make them give up their welfare.

You’re not really aware of recent mid-east history.
The last best chance for peace in the middle east occured in 2000 at Clinton’s Camp David meeting with Ehud Barak & Yassar Arafat.  An equitable deal was all but signed with the Palestinian side given 95% of the territory of the West Bank & control of 1/2 of Jerusalem.  At the last minute Arafat declared that Palestinians all over the middle east be able to emigrate to Israel proper – that killed the deal.
Clinton later met Arafat at the UN and told him, “I failed because of you”.

There is not a Brain Transplant Surgeon available at this juncture. They are reserving him, a Transgender Surgeon, for The Donald…there is a transplant ready to go when and if TrumpCO removes the tariffs for Chinese Made Brains which carry a steep tax as well.

There is much talk about Trump’s new brain which will feature an automatic self-shock any time that he lies.

They are tweaking the number of shocks per 1/2 hour Press Conference time and the TESTING LAB said that they tried it on Kamala and it burned every nerve ending.

Israel has bought and paid for most of our politicians with the pump at the top of the heap. Their needs to be some international plan to fix the CF that is currently killing innocent civilians for the benefit of Israel. Unbelievable.

There wouldn’t have been any “killing innocent civilians” if Hamas hadn’t invaded Israel and slaughtered 1200 Israeli citizens a couple of years ago.

1200 was the total death toll. You have to subtract the ones killed by Israeli forces and the rest would be Hamas’s fault. We can only speculate how many Hamas killed, as they certainly did kill Israelis. But it appears the lion’s share were killed by Israeli forces under the Hannibal Directive.

The Holocaust should be honored and revered across the world as a warning of what a technological state can do to murder innocent people on an industrial scale.

The Israelis are doing what the Deniers never could achieve – make it irrelevant, a mere detail of history, just one supremicist group killing another. So what? It’s a moral tragedy

totally false if Israel wanted to kill all the Palestinians they’d all be dead now. Instead the population of Palestinians has multiplied over the years.

The genocide is now, not the past. They must murder them somewhat discreetly. Kill some kids, shoot some old women, withhold food. Saying “totally false” is your desperation to get away from their murderous supremacy

Some of us are more concerned with needless killing than we are with the political jockeying and posturing that you’re doing here.

  • More than 41,870: Number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli military. More than 10,000 others have been reported missing under the rubble and presumed dead. Most of the dead are women and children. According to an analysis by Oxfam: “More women and children have been killed in Gaza by the Israeli military over the past year than the equivalent period of any other conflict over the past two decades.”
  • As many as 186,000 or more: Estimate of the total number of Palestinian deaths directly or indirectly attributable to Israel’s genocide as of July 2024, including from reproductive, communicable, and non-communicable diseases, according to an analysis published in The Lancet medical journal.”

My guess is your first thought will be that these numbers are fake.

Define children. The majority of so called children that have been killed were mid to late teen recruits of Hamas. Not hard to recruit 14 year olds who have been indoctrinated all their lives and if they are killed then give the bleeding heart media a picture of them from when they were younger, cuter and holding a soccer ball instead of them when they were in a Hamas parade holding a kalashnicov.

50% of the population of Gaza was under the age of 16!

Palestinians were good at only two things – taking all the welfare the UN and associated bleeding hearts were willing to throw at them and making more babies that they could not afford to feed or raise on their own.

These are the reasons that no other Arab country has been willing to offer the Palestinians a place to settle.

There are currently something in the neighborhood of 55k woman in Gaza who are pregnant. That is FIFTY FIVE THOUSAND. Who, in the middle of a war zone, living in tents, with limited access to food, supplies and medical care, decides to get pregnant?

Only the dumbest of the dumb!

In war, you should do what needs to be done to achieve the winning position.

It’s good that Israel seems to be beginning to understand this. Hopefully, the USA figures this out for our next war.

Ergo you think Hitler did the right thing in his quest for a winning position, i.e. “whatever it takes” is “what needs to be done to win”

Or did I somehow misconstrue your statement?

Hitler was an idiot. Had he focused on territorial expansion and reclaiming the lands lost after its loss in WWI and left the idea of a blond Aryan Master race and kicking Stalin’s arse for some future time, most of the Jewish scientists who managed to escape to countries like the USA would have likely stayed in Germany to Hitler’s advantage.

The USA would have been unlikely to enter the fray and most of Europe would probably be speaking German now.

The 40 beheaded babies in the kibbutz Kfar Aza ended up being a hoax perpetrated to get people to support the murder of infants and children in Gaza. Hamas baby beheading hoax – Wikipedia

Meanwhile, there are actual baby beheadings by the Israelis in Gaza. It’s amazing that you’re actually trying to convince us that these babies were Kalashnikov-wielding Hamas soldiers.

the numerns aren’t fake, though it should be admitted that probably a good amount of the dead are Hamas.

fact is there’s no way to go after Hamas without killing lots of innocent poeple because of how dense Gaza is. what is Israel supposed to do, care more about Palestinians more than Hamas??

Everyone talks about women and chilren killed. well, they’re obvilusly the majority of people there. if Hamas gave a shit about Palestinians they’d surrender like the Japanese surrendered.

People die in war. That’s why it’s a good idea to not start them. Hamas can’t help itself because it’s purpose is to kill Jews. They keep telling everyone, but people like you don’t seem to get it.

The Israeli people have a lot of explaining to do for committing a Holocaust and justifying it by pointing the fingers at a terrorist organization they themselves sponsored when they knew and said aloud that Hamas is a terrorist organization.
