Trump “No Longer Feels an Obligation to Think Purely of Peace”

Trump states the obvious. But what’s it about?

Trump Links Greenland Threats to Missing Out on Nobel Prize

The Wall Street Journal reports Trump Links Greenland Threats to Missing Out on Nobel Prize

President Trump added a new dimension to his increasingly aggressive pursuit of Greenland, telling Norway that he no longer needed to think “purely of peace” after being snubbed for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The president threw another curveball into the debate on Sunday, linking his pursuit of the world’s largest island to missing out on the Nobel Peace Prize, which is awarded by a committee based in Norway.

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre sent Trump a text message expressing opposition to the planned tariffs. Trump replied that the world wouldn’t be secure unless the U.S. has “Complete and Total Control of Greenland,” according to Støre.

“Considering your country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize for having stopped 8 Wars PLUS,” Trump wrote in the message, according to Støre. “I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of Peace, although it will always be predominant but can now think about what is good and proper for the United States of America.”

On Monday, Støre said he had responded to the message from Trump. “We pointed to the need to de-escalate,” he said in a statement, adding that he had told Trump repeatedly that the Norwegian government has no say in who gets the peace prize.

“We had boats in Greenland too.”

Trump is a certified lunatic.

This is more evidence of a decline in his mental abilities. But things are certain to get more bizarre the further along we get in Trump’s term.

You have often commented on what you call “Trump Derangement Syndrome” and denigrated those who you claim have it. I know a lot of people in the MAGA movement as being both trusting and loyal. Though these are admirable qualities, their trusting nature makes them vulnerable to an unscrupulous scam artist while their unquestioning loyalty often blinds them to the scam they’re caught up in. This is what effective scam artists rely on.

Trump is a master manipulator who has gradually ratcheted up his lies and criminal actions since his inauguration in 2017 when he claimed that his crowd was the largest ever though aerial photography showed that it wasn’t even close. He then lashed out attacking the head of the US Park Service that had estimated the crowd size which is customary after large gatherings on the mall.

None of his MAGA base or Republican legislators objected though clear evidence showed his claims were false. I see this as the first step in Trump’s transforming his MAGA base and Republican politician into his accomplices. Since then Trump’s lies, criminality and attacks on the US constitution have continually escalated while his MAGA base has continued defending his actions. Having become his accomplices they are quite aware that indicting Trump now would be indicting themselves as his accessories in the scam.

Some opportunists began enriching themselves by sanitizing Trump’s lies and criminality on TV, radio and in podcast, providing cover for those who had been sucked into Trump’s seductive scam while profiting off the same audience. Whenever a government official or Republican politician pushed back, Trump resorted to extortion, threatening to sic his MAGA base on them or threatening to defeat them in the next primary. One-by-one, Republican politicians acquiesced and mutated from Trump’s detractors to his loyal lap dogs.

Now, as Trump’s blatant pettiness, piety and criminality have become too unhinged to ignore, his accomplices are in the terrible position of having constructed their own identities, values, alliances and even friendships on a faulty foundation composed of lies, greed, criminality and vindictiveness.

I pity them. To acknowledge now that they’ve been scammed would be to acknowledge their ten-year allegiance to a lie.

I’ve been scammed before and I know how seductive a good scam can be. Once you’ve bought in to the scammer’s story you want desperately to believe them. The longer you engage with them, the more invested you become in receiving the positive outcome they promise.

After more than an hour on the phone, I was lucky that I still had enough self control to recoil from spending the money he was asking for. Thankfully my wife walked into the room right then and the distraction immediately broke the spell. I felt like I’d been in a dream. I can’t imagine how hard it would be to acknowledge to yourself and friends that you’ve been engulfed in a ten-year scam.

I applaud anyone who has the courage and integrity to escape Trump’s soul-crushing grip. These are trusting and loyal victims of an insidious scam. They deserve better.

Many groups now call for boycott on us products in Europe … On Facebook.

We now realize we can not trust the usa anymore. Especially since there was bush first then you did it again with trump.

I have no idea how this ends most probably not well if you don t stop trump fast.

From a Purely Economic Standpoint – what Trump is doing makes complete sense
TWO POSITIONS ON THE GREAT DEBATE
DOES THE US ACT FINANCIALLY TO SAVE IT’S SKIN NOW
OR DIPLOMATICALLY TO SAVE FUTURE GENERATIONS

1. FINANCIALLY Economics – from a purely short term economic standpoint

A. the US deficit is out of control – the US requires ‘ Collateral ‘ to continue to sell bonds and treasuries at a reasonable rate – and more
Israel is in a real bind – deficit – military costs – need for resources including oil and gas – is the US to support Israel forever when we cannot afford to support ourselves
US declines Israel declines

B. a strictly ‘ colonialism ‘ mindset – obtain resources from other Countries – that we can sell and leverage – makes sense –
Taking and selling resources of others
What better way to save yourself then to take from others

C. Who do we take from

i. For the US
Venezuela Greenland Canada is plan “B” – Plan “A” was we tried Ukraine we thought there were vast resources readily available and fairly simply – but that did not work

ii. For Israel
Palestine is plan “A” getting more from Syria Iran Egypt Lebanon is plan “B”
CONCLUSION: From a purely economic standpoint – a reasonable are arguable position is – taking control of any or all of South America Canada and Greenland are our choices and for Israel Palestine Lebanon Syria and others

———-

2. DIPLOMATICALLY Diplomacy and Allies – from a purely diplomatic standpoint
this is a disaster – we rob from both Allies and attempt to rob from Rivals

A. We tried to rob Ukraine from Russia – and we are robbing Palestine and Gaza for Israel

B. Ukraine did not go as planned we had to pivot to Venezuela and Canada and Greenland
Sorry Greenland but we had no choice

C. If we have to destroy all international law, destruct the UN and throw out the constitution Trumps mindset appears to be – then so be it

CONCLUSION: From a purely Short Term Economic Standpoint what Trump is doing makes sense

Future generations will have to suffer the terrible consequences of the Trump foreign diplomacy if things continue as they appear to be

International Law ICC ICJ will be thrown out the window JUST AS CHINA RUSSIA are flexing their muscles – the US may desperately need the UN and International Law and International Courts in the future as protection from other great and rising powers – all of that is being destroyed – leaving future generations no where to turn

This was the entire reasoning behind WWI League of Nations – which did not work out – however the US was in a better financial position

This was the entire reasoning behind WWII United Nations – again US financially was fantastic

Prior generations learned the lesson the hard way probably both wars combined
100 Million Persons Killed
International Law ICC ICJ will be thrown out the window

I myself believe the ONLY way to save the US is for the US to FULLY back and more – support militarily the United Nations and ICC and ICJ – that they have their faults, however with FULL US Backing they would grow strong – and get better

However, the US constantly undermines the UN ICC and ICJ and to the US detriment

In the FUTURE it is possible if not probable Russia and China will only grow – and the US weakening – and US will need the UN ICC ICJ or a version of same For the US protection

It is horrifying to me that Trump is solving a short term issue
but throwing future generations under the bus

Resources only become collateral after you produce them.
Otherwise you could marshal comets with immense mineral wealth to underwrite lending.

It doesn’t matter how much lithium or petroleum exists under 4km of ice on the South Pole, or the fact that more gold is dissolved in the oceans by far than all the gold ever mined.

Why do you think Taiwan, Honk Kong, Singapore, or Japan (or even Germany) have become prosperous without any “collateral”?

In looking at the source companies that produce and refine silver there are several leaders.

Newmont (NEM) owns the 2nd largest silver mine in the world (Penasquito) and it has its own refining facility in Mexico.

Pan American Silver (PAAS) owns 44% of the Juanicipio mine (6th largest in world)

Fresnillo (FNLPF) (which is a British company) owns its own smelter and refining facilities at the Fresnillo mine in Mexico. It is the 8th largest in the world.

The important part of owning your own refinery is that the output does not need to go to China for processing and can be sold to the COMEX or LME.

I forgot to mention that Fresnillo also owns the remaining 56% of Juanicipio mine and its refinery

And Fresnillo is up 6.5% on the Greenland news. US miners should open higher as well given todays strong performance by Gold and Silver.

Fresnillo is a bad ass company!

Servants of Satan rarely think of peace unless it’s to lie about it to gain popularity.

The Four Horseman of the Trumpocolypse™

White Horse (“Conquerer” Trump) – behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he was really fat and went out conquering and to conquer. (Venezuela, Greenland, Canada, Palestine to start).

Red Horse (“Signal” Segheth) -behold, a red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from Earth, and that men would slay one another; and a great sword was given to him.

Pale Horse (“Wormhead” Kennedy) – behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the Earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the Earth.

Black Horse (Next Fed Chair) – behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard something like a voice in the center of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; but do not damage the oil and the wine”.

You reap what you sow. Any questions?

Europeans know and understand the iron fist. After all that is their creed. What they object to it that the iron fist is not covered by a velvet glove and that is what angers them. The necessary protocols to smooth ruffled feathers were not followed and that upsets them and humiliates them.

If you use the Iron Fist use it with style, flair and diplomacy as the British did in India and French did in Indochina it is easier and more acceptable to the conquered. There is a way to steal from the natives without them being too bothered by your theft and that is the Velvet Glove. If you get them to admire your civilization and acknowledge its superiority, albeit temporarily, most of the battle is already won an it worked at that time. Today it is different because everyone knows everyone else and the mystic of every civilization is gone replaced I suppose by reality so that doesn’t work anymore although some people and even whole countries still believe. Perhaps plain talk and honesty as to intentions and goals is a better way now.

Why do you think Trump has essentially stopped all assistance to Ukraine since last summer then? It’s because Russia is losing the war, which is Putin’s worst nightmare. So Trump lends a helping hand. Russia is far weaker than you think it is, because the Ukrainians have killed ENORMOUS numbers of Putin’s troops.

Military assistance is still there as much as before but we got the Europeans to pay for equipment which is the new normal. They buy it from us and then give it to Ukraine. Brian

Nope, in fact ZERO assistance (in materiel, at least) is now being provided by the U.S. directly to Ukraine, and Europe is now supplying most/all of Ukraine’s intel too. Here’s a comment from ~ 1 week ago by Phillips O’Brien, an American historian and professor of strategic studies who has covered the war in detail:

“The U.S. is not providing any aid at all. They are selling very small amounts through Europe. So the Europeans are paying full fare. In fact, probably inflated figures to pass on some U.S. weaponry to Ukraine. But we’re talking single digit billions. When the Biden administration gave 140 billion, so this is a tiny amount. Even then there are reports that the Trump administration regularly slows down the supply even of things that the Europeans have purchased. They’re trying to make it as difficult as possible without losing all leverage. The Trump administration wants to maintain some leverage over Ukraine and leverage over Europe, that’s why they’re continuing these very small number of sales.”

Don’t let Trump pull the wool over your eyes.

Webej

You and your professor are woefully misinformed.
The war is being run by the CIA, present in Kyiv together with the SBU in the same building; as well as American generals from Wiesbaden. Ukraine would crumble in weeks if you remove American ISR and coms. NATO has run out of ordinance and weapons, which is why there is this dog and pony show about who finances weapons that will not be built for years … it’s just to shift the perception that the Europeans aren’t doing their share and are to blame for the losses. But Europeans can’t buy American weapons that don’t exist.

As for the ENORMOUS losses, the whole of 2025 saw the exchange of bodies supervised by the Red Cross, and the proportions consistently above 1 to 35 against the Ukrainians, who have run out of manpower. We know from a leak in 2024 that there were 3054 amputations among Russian serviceman, a measure that tends to be proportionate to losses (about 1:10). Ukrainian amputations were above 120,000 early 2025, suggesting more than 1.2 million losses, which scales well with other estimates of KiA by experts (who are not being paid). There is no number of Ukrainians that the US and EU are not willing to sacrifice. The Russians keep up the demilitarization — their main metric in this battle of attrition (‘demilitarization’) is to keep the losses of Russians and civilians to a minimum. After complete demilitarization capitulation and regime change will fall into their hands.

BFF? How did you conjure up that idea? Trump is working on a Peaceful Solution via a peace plan that meets both criteria to do so.
This is why NATO is not mentioned, as it’s not necessary, because they are not looking for War, but rather Peace.

Yes, “Peace” will ensue after a Russian victory. That’s the plan that Trump is working on, in close cooperation with Vladimir Putin.
The naivete you’re displaying here is astonishing.

You have this sad delusion that you have any idea what you’re talking about.

Stu is the saddest and slowest guy here. He’s still looking for deep hidden strategies from a buffoon who can’t stay awake in a cabinet meeting and once scrawled a made up hurricane forecast with a sharpie to justify a bogus claim. It’s depressing to think there are lost babes in the woods like this guy all across America. So lost.

Now Here’s a scary thought: what if the family did just that, and directed his madness towards Greenland, and away from an even more destructive train of thought?

Such a dialogue implies that trump’s wife and kids are as demented as him.

The US has abandoned 30 bases, only retaining one.

  • This is not about bases
  • This is not about defending Greenland or the Arctic
  • This is not about the golden dome (a trillion dollar boon-doggle)
  • This is not about missile defense (Does the US have any that works?)
  • This is about the possibility for the Deep State to acquire jurisdiction of coastal waters and the ability to strangle Chinese and Russian commerce along the Northern Sea route, as in in Suez, Hormuz, Malakka Straits, Panama, China Sea, etc etc.
  • For Donnie it’s not even about that — it’s just a vanity project to bolster his tiny tiny ego that is so weak not even the whole universe is enough to keep it propped up.

Greenland would put the Europeans under Trumps thumb controll.

They’re already under total American control – and they were under Biden. He blew up Nordstream, and the Europeons had to pretend they had no idea who did it. Even today they don’t talk about it. Pure humiliation. And Germany moved some industrial production to the US and we’re selling them our LNG. We spent 30+ years ginning up a war between Ukraine and Russia and the dumb Europeons are paying for it and sending their men to die there. Plenty of Americans have died there, too, the cover story being “training accidents”.

Could it be that Western Europeans are using Ukrainian Slavs to kill Russian Slavs using until American money and equipment leaving less Slavs for Western Europeans to worry about or am I seeing Western Europeans in too much a cynical light? I must be wrong. They would never something like do that.

The headline shows why Trump didn’t get the Nobel Peace Prize.

Trump has bombed more countries in 12 months than FDR did during WW2.

That’s why he didn’t win the Peace Prize.

If that’s the metric then the old “the sun never sets on ….” Is the all-time winner.
