I am a free market Libertarian and care about ideas, integrity, and doing things legally.
Unlike Trump, I believe in the Constitution and a legal process.
I am frequently accused of TDS despite supporting Trump on many occasions.
One of my own readers accused me of never admitting I am wrong, never changing my mind, and never supporting Trump.
As for changing my mind, it’s best not to be like Trump where it can change every hour.
I don’t change my mind easily but it does happen. For example, 5 years ago I was 100 always against subsidies, tariffs, and sanctions, 100 percent free market.
My position now is to grant exceptions for cases of genuine national security. Microchips and rare earth elements are good examples. Steel, underwear, shoes, and solar panels aren’t.
So that’s a change.
I am anti-war, small government, and a deficit hawk. Trump proposes a $1 trillion defense budget with no way to pay for it. The cult cheers.
Trump is going to massively increase the budget deficit, and add more complexity to the tax code.

Trump has crossed numerous red lines on immigration, on Greenland, on Epstein, on the Fed, on Venezuela, on the budget, on Israel, on Mexico, on Canada, on breaking Senate-signed treaties, that if forced to be in one camp but not the other, “How can you vote for Trump?” seems to me to be the better question.

A southpaw, she slugged the window breaker square in the face with her left fist. His glasses flew off on impact. Fleeing the madness in this crowded corridor, Ashli hopped into the window frame now fully free of glass and USCP Lieutenant Michael Byrd promptly shot and killed her without warning.

“More than 170 US citizens” arrested strikes me as a tiny number compared to the scale of ICE efforts to deport illegals. I can’t gauge the scope and scale of ICE’s offenses from a dozen or so tweets. Almost all videos miss the beginning of any confrontation. Undoubtedly ICE has made mistakes and committed crimes. Here in Minneapolis people posted images on NextDoor of a vehicle that crashed into a pole along a major arterial street. Some said ICE made the woman crash. Others said she tried to ram an ICE vehicle, lost control of her vehicle and crashed.
Based on current law, most of the people arrested by ICE are subject to removal. If you don’t like that law, change it – if you can. If their presence in the country is so necessary and beneficial, getting the law changed shouldn’t be that hard.
Congress just voted $75B over 4 years for ICE. People squawking about “our democracy” probably don’t like that kind of democracy. I didn’t like the Big Beautiful Bill either, but elections have consequences. These AWFLs think they can interrupt legitimate law enforcement efforts and some magical white girl privilege will protect them. I see very few African Americans trying to hamper ICE. I’m not saying the obstructors deserve to get shot, but interposing themselves will naturally bring about confrontations, some of which have been provably violent toward ICE officers.

If you can’t arrest someone in the presence of their child (“inhumane”), it would mean people could use their kids as shields. If you’re OK with deportations, you have to understand that some aliens will not go peaceably and their arrest will cause a commotion. Videos that start mid-commotion can be mischaracterized. Undoubtedly there have been arrests that utilized unnecessary violence and humiliation. Those agents should be prosecuted, although I can imagine that many won’t be.
