Trump Says “we will not be attacking Iran prior to the midterm elections”

Good news. Logically, the war is over already. Hear me out.

No Attacks Until November 3

Truth Social: We are having productive discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran. I want to make it clear to everybody that, while Iran is in very bad condition, both Economically and Militarily, and while the Blockade will remain in full force and effect, with Oil flowing in Record Numbers of Barrels through the Hormuz Strait (22 Million Barrels, last night alone, with not one barrel coming from, or going to, Iran!), we will not be attacking Iran at any time prior to the Midterm Elections to be held in the United States on November 3rd. IRAN WILL NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Oct 08, 2026, 10:17 AM

Apparently, Iran can attack supertankers in the Strait of Hormuz and infrastructure elsewhere in the Mideast without fear of reprisal.

What About Canada and Greenland?

Major Plans

Big Pans Underway After the Election

Talks are going so well that the invasion is postponed until after the election.

Iran war will end ‘immediately’ after midterms

On September 9, Politico reported Trump says Iran war will end ‘immediately’ after midterms

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that the Iran war will end and gas prices will plummet “immediately after” the midterm elections, the latest deadline slip in a war that has lasted months longer than the president initially promised.

Trump said Iranian leadership is escalating the conflict now in order to hurt Republicans in November’s midterm elections.

Good News

  1. We will not attack Iran before the election.
  2. The war ends immediately after the election

Logically, the war is effectively over already. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Unfortunately, Trump has not ruled out invading Canada.

Trump just claimed again he stopped Iran from launching a nuclear weapon. He said Iran “would have blown up the Middle East” and then “headed for our country” had the US and Israel not attacked first. “They would have probably hit places like San Diego, Los Angeles first”.

I suppose the third aircraft carrier strike group currently heading to Iran will only be on a humanitarian mission. And that the two amphibious landing groups that are already there will help.

No matter what political party is in charge, or what countries are involved, WHY WOULD YOU TELL YOUR OPPONENT WHEN & WHERE YOU PLAN TO STRIKE?

Doesn’t make a bit of sense, but that’s Trump for you.

Times of Israel says that after the threat to start bombing Iran again, from two days ago, Israeli government officials reached out to American administration not to restart the war as it may delay the October 27th election. And Likud coalition is pulling ahead right now… since the Dubai incident. That is why.

Is Mish advocating for further attacks on Iran, now?

Also, I’m curious how confident Mish is now about a Talarico win in Texas, given nobody has publicly seen the guy in DAYS.

It’s a lot like that. He had the flu and he’s back on the campaign trail today ( in public.) Maga doesn’t understand disease or medicine at all which is why they died like flies from COVID and were afraid to get vaccinated. They’re joking about the flu but it kills old people by the thousands every year.

Well when the us attacks it makes the mainstream news. Iran/ proxies are attacking targets pretty much daily.
The iran having a nuclear weapon is not the issue. We have thousands and if iran attacked us they would be wiped off the earth. The real issue is two fold. If iran gets a bomb they can no longer be invaded. Second with drone tech and missiles they are getting to strong to control.

Frosty

Perhaps the pause in the Iranian genocide is simply obtaining new targeting information?

On a different note, anyone who is stupid/dishonest enough to think that the donorCRATs are pro-labor, pro-working class etc., just look at how the Newsom administration in California has treated the SEIU there.

The donorCRATS have one exceptional attribute: they are not Trump. He is a proven failure, and the most corrupt, incompetent, unhinged and supremely annoying prez ever.
And yes, he has some Dem competition for that title. But that’s off-point at this interval.
And I do not elect Dems in the hope that they are Eugene Debs or W.E.B. Dubois. Heck, I’d take Rahm Emanuel if I had to.

With the Houthi attack on Saudi airports today, It’s really looking like a THREE front global war developing: Russia/Ukraine in Europe. Iran/Israel in Middle East. China/Philippines in Pacific.

Post WW2 US military strategy has been prepare for a 2-front war. Recent US demands that Europe pay their fair share of the NATO alliance allows the US to focus on the Middle East and Pacific theaters. Years of foreign military sales have pre-armed US allies so the US doesn’t need to stockpile as much stateside.

What are you on about ?

  • NATO’s cupboards are bare, they can’t even keep 25% of Russia’s pace (with the USA included).
  • The Iran war needed to be stopped because the US ran out of stand-off munitions and had no Air Defense so it’s lost all its bases.
  • They had to move ships, ordinance and weapons from the Pacific theatre to the Middle-East and Ukraine — good luck with outpacing China’s industrial capacity.

The problem with Trump employing a “madman theory” to keep people off balance is that he is too unbalanced, too close to being an actual madman. So anyone domestic or foreign eventually strategizes on the basis that he is lying or blowing smoke at all times and situations: causing maximum confusion. The people who don’t think like that, tend to be 1) pseudo-religious bootlickers or 2) getting away like bandits with piles of cash out of this mess.

Tollsforthee

Yeah, the ‘madman theory’ forces Trump to act unpredictably. I think he actually does espouse that concept to a degree.

Unfortunately, unpredictability results in chaos, and when you’re the leader, chaos looks exactly like incompetence.
