Reuters reports Truth Social to sell trading firms ‘fastest’ access to Trump’s posts
Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT), has unveiled a paid-for, licensed data feed that will give banks and trading firms “the fastest” access to posts from influential Truth Social accounts, such as President Donald Trump’s, whose posts often move global markets.
The product, called “Truth API,” will deliver posts from the 10 most influential accounts to customers at a significantly faster pace than a regular push notification on the Truth Social platform, a spokesperson said.
The feed is designed for organizations “most impacted by the cost of a delay in information”, such as algorithmic trading firms, the company said in a statement. “Until now… firms that prioritize tracking influential Truth posts have relied on manual monitoring. Truth API closes the gap.”
“Markets already move on Truth Social posts … As adoption grows, we expect Truth API to become a meaningful, ongoing source of revenue for the company,” TMTG’s interim CEO Kevin McGurn said.

Trump has made several announcements through his Truth Social handle that have jolted markets worldwide, including his “Liberation Day” tariffs and posts regarding trade restrictions on China, making the platform a crucial feed for traders, businesses and financial institutions.
On April 9, 2025, Wall Street’s main indexes turned sharply higher after Trump said in a Truth Social post that he would pause many of his new tariffs for 90 days.
“As far as I know, the only market-moving poster on Truth Social is Trump himself and his posts definitely move the market,” said Mark Spiegel, managing member and portfolio manager at Stanphyl Capital Partners.The Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust holds roughly 114.75 million shares, representing about 41% of all outstanding stock in Truth Social’s parent company TMTG, according to regulatory filings.
That trust administers Trump’s investments and is overseen by his children. The White House did not respond immediately to a request for comment, but a spokeswoman has in the past denied any conflicts of interest.
Round-the-Clock Coverage
The product will provide round-the-clock coverage of influential posts and include an archive of posts dating back to 2022. The company said it has already signed up customers ahead of the August 1 launch.

Athenians had a truer democracy than we do. And they even had slaves like many of our founders. But selecting random people for jury duty is what we call justice. If you want a just government, select people who have no profit motive. Your plan suggests getting rid of the profit motive, but giving them that kind of money IS a profit motive, a huge profit motive. The Greeks city/states were much smaller and maybe easier to run as people were less anonymous. Ruling 300 million people is more complex. But selecting random citizens means anyone can be a representative. You don’t need money or popularity and there is no elite class of politicians. And to make sure the chosen didn’t get corrupted they had term limits. I imagine there were wealthy people who tried buying representative votes but it was still a better system than we have today.
Our founders still had their own economic interests in mind. Slavery did not go away. And they had a much larger area to bring together than the Greek city/states did. The Colonies had states bigger than some European countries. But we could start at the local level, then work our way up.
I agree with much of what you’ve written. Not sold on the random selection idea, but using jury duty in an argument for such a selection is surely a good approach. Or a good approach when talking to those who have had good experiences with jury duty. Or even (e.g. my own case) those with, um, more nuanced experiences.
There may be some legal challenges to this but as with everything else, Trump seems to avoid any scrutiny.
Maybe a more interesting route is whether firms who use this data have passed its use through their compliance departments. It may be better to attack users than the source.
Even if the current admin will not enforce a law, if it is on the books, it is very important for compliance to flag it. People could find they have walked a plank.
So, complain about Bloomberg doing the same thing for the past 30+ years. That’s their business model, giving advance news to the big financial houses that are willing to pay for it. Bloomberg is valued at about $80 billion from this.
That Trump supporters cannot distinguish between a Bloomberg subscription and privileged information coming from the most powerful elected official in charge of a tax payer funded state aparatus, is truly telling.

The interesting take away perhaps is that America has been blessed so far with relatively decent people as president. Biden did the same thing as Trump. Remember the “Biden Crime Family”. Trump is merely more in the open and outrageous. Maybe those Trump bibles will sell well on eBay?
Tossing out some popular title is nothing like evidence it exists. How is it possible you would not comprehend that? Does “outrageous” merely mean attention-stirring to you? Might it mean properly inducing outrage, a precursor to public disorder? Are you casually referencing and minimizing that? Were you raised by reality TV and a phone?
You learn the true, if unspoken, assumptions and vulnerabilities of a system, and of norms, when someone like this shows up.
I see this system as like a diseased tree, ripe for opportunistic predators to move in.
Somehow, he has managed to corrupt a significant portion of the American public through financial incentives, political influence, or both. That is how he rose to power, and it is why he continues to operate as though he is beyond accountability.
The question everyone should be asking is: What can be done about it?
Before the USA suffers irreversible political and institutional decay.
The decay since 1787 has been irreversible now for a long time. There is no going back.
A constitutional amendment that limits contributions from “power centers”, to uphold the principle that a large diversified group makes better decisions than a small one over long term (a studied and proven fact)
It will be hacked, evaded, circumvented. That doesn’t mean it isn’t worth trying.
No regulation will replace good faith, cultural integrity. But that’s a pipe dream.
What can be done about it?
With the people divided nothing.
The congress could act but never will.
The cabinet could act and invoke the 25th, but will not.
God could strike him dead, but there is no God.
The people could strike and except for emergency not leave their homes, after just a few days of no one in American showing up to work what would happen to our economy, but they never will.
These are the non-violent means to 86/47 there are plenty of violent ways but I’ll leave those to your imagination. 😂
I believe the history books will show that in 2026 it is too late to fix things “Before the USA suffers irreversible political and institutional decay.” The Trump era will be a very large black mark on the USA for many decades to come.
