Biden Looked Like a Zombie on Drugs, MSNBC “You Cannot Sugar Coat This”

To appreciate how badly Biden performed, you had to be watching MSNBC, not Fox News. I have a slew of notable quotes.

Joy Reid: My phone has been ringing all night. The campaign is in panic.

Joy Reid: After tonight, Biden may believe he can do this but the party doesn’t.

Joy Reid: Biden’s avatar looks broken.

Chris Hayes: The roll of a candidate is to communicate. Biden is a very poor communicator.

Nicole Wallace: The smartest people on the Biden campaign thought this was a good idea.

Biden Aide: This is not the ideal start.

Jen Psaki: Trump was confident and coherent.

Jen Psaki: What do we do now?

Jen Psaki: We need to push out the best moments. There were a couple.

Jen Psaki: The campaign is going to have to figure out how to dig out of this hole.

Jen Psaki: We should not sugar coat this.

Breakaway lead comment: There is a very uniform negative reaction. Biden comes across as a feeble person.

All of the comments are from notes. They may not be precise but they should be close. I am not sure who that lead comment was from.

Fox News vs MSNBC

I watched the debate with friends on Fox News but then suggested we turn to MSNBC for the analysis. I wanted to see how anyone could possibly sugar coat this.

Not even MSNBC could although Rachael Maddow tried hard.

Trump Fell Short

Trump was neither as good as he could have been or as bad as one might have known he could be.

Trump ducked many questions and surprisingly the moderators let him get away with it.

Trump blew closing remarks. He failed to focus on inflation.

After watching MSNBC for perhaps a half hour we did turn back to Fox. Everyone there was glowing over how well Trump did.

Trump did start out strong but over the course of 90 minutes morphed into more of his Trumpian bravado without answering any questions.

But that was good enough. Biden looked like an zombie on drugs.

This image says it all.

Debate in a Nutshell

https://twitter.com/i/status/1806544740479115372

Deer in Headlights

Biden Assisted Off Stage

This was likely taped on a cell phone. One reason CNN did not want the media present was to hide moments like this.

Nomination Odds

Replacing Biden

Brutal

Panic Sets In

Joy Reid was amazingly harsh on Biden. So were a couple other panelists. Rachel tried her best as did a couple others but even she had many negative comments.

The campaign must now face four questions.

Four Questions

  • How do we get Biden out of here?
  • When do we get Biden out of here?
  • What the heck do we do with Kamala Harris?
  • If not Biden, whom?

Biden cannot last four more years. Heck he may not last four more months.

“You Cannot Sugar Coat This”

This was truly a pathetic performance.

Trunp’s is completely irrelevant.
It’s all about Boden, and why the 25th amendment hasn’t been used yet.

The Reform activist filmed by Channel 4 using a racial slur about Rishi Sunak while campaigning in Clacton has turned out to be an actor who is well-spoken but specialises in ‘rough voices’ – though the activist and Channel 4 have denied that he was a plant. Isabel Oakeshott broke the story on TalkTV this morning.

She said: https://dailysceptic.org/2024/06/28/racist-reform-activist-filmed-by-channel-4-is-an-actor/

I hate to say this, but if Biden was acting he deserves an Oscar. What would be really horrifying would be to play his debate with Sarah Palin side by side with the debate on Thursday. The amount of decline visible would scream “25th Amendment”, except that puts Kamala in the driver’s seat. Probably better to have a president who’s completely out to lunch and can safely be ignored than one who’s chief talent is cackling, but still is aware of what’s going on.

If he is not acting ..then he’s been in this state for multiple years now… why has the party not replaced him?

As for acting… during the Covid insanity … I called up a chemist… and had the following discussion with her…. I posted this on a few Substacks… it was picked up by just about every popular author on SS and Telegram and it went massively viral… people were outraged…

When listening… consider the fact that I am not a breeder… I have ZERO children….

How hard would it be for someone to shake hands with ghosts… sit on non-existent chairs… muddle sentences… a lot less hard than this:

All the MSM news sites are turning against Biden, suggesting he step down.
MSNBC says “For the good of the country, Dems must persuade President Biden to step aside”
CNN says “NY Times Editorial Board calls for Biden to leave the race”

Huff Post “PUNDIT BLITZ: DROP OUT NOW”.

Biden is being thrown under the bus and he’s about to get run over and left for dead. Good thing he’s so far gone he won’t know what hit him.

It’s a political party, they can nominate whoever they please by whatever methods they please. Some are better than others, of course, but in the present instance I’d have to say keeping Biden in the White House for another four years is more disgusting (and dangerous) than tossing out the rule book and nominating someone actually up to the job. After the debate I have to admit I’d rather see Hillary get the nomination than Uncle Joe, which believe me is saying alot.

Trump was brilliant to take that debate early. Old Joe is done after 1 Debate. He can’t possibly recover from that mess of a performance. In fact, he may only head further downward, if he gets in front of a camera over the next few days, Lock him in the basement and leave him there until whatever that was, blows over.

Much easier for Dems to replace Biden before the convention than after.

After the convention, their only option for replacement is Kamala

I think it will backfire. If Joe is fatally wounded from the early debate they’ll roll out a much stronger candidate in July or at the convention.

Had this debate happened in late September it’d be far more brutal and difficult to swap out Biden for a sentient candidate.

There are very, very good reasons for why world religions last millennia, while every silly attempt at “improving” on them by, what effectively amounts to no more than putting the mumblings of a senile careerist and his petty coterie of ladder-climbers on the make, ahead of someone whose insights were; at the very minimum; impressive enough to be listened to by billions of people for thousands of years.

“Biden with nukes” is what “the world’s leading democracy” manages to produce……

Among sentients; the outcome of that experiment, is what’s referred to as a complete and utter failure.

Trump had opportunity after opportunity to knock out Biden and took none

He could have used some easy facts and figures to make strong points. He made very very few strong points

Then he just devolved into “you are the worst president” “no you are the worst president”

This debate was a catastrophic joke

Trump “wins” because Biden is celarly just gone and unfit

But Trump did a VERY poor job

The country will certainly be much better off with Trump than Biden

But what happens if someone coherent replaces Biden?

I won’t vote for either candidate either. You maybe a little too harsh on the Donald and his conviction, however regarding the payment of hush money.

I for one don’t care if he paid Daniels and the former Playboy bunny. That is between him, his family and the female participants. Trump’s attempts to strong arm Daniels though is fixer is also another story if Cohen and Daniels are to be believed, which I do.

His rape case is another kettle of fish similar to Clinton’s alleged instances by three women that never went to court. It doesn’t look good for the Donald and a jury did find him guilty. As for Clinton, my guess is he did something untoward and was not consensual similar to Clarence Thomas and Anita Hill.

Trump’s association with Epstein is also a black eye on the Donald. The Donald has always been a running dog when it comes to women so the pics with Epstein and the Donald together don’t convict him but I can also put two and two together.

Trump hiding national security docs at his Florida compound after his presidency causes major angst and his attempts to cover it is the coup de grace. The government will hang him out to dry for this one. It is never the crime per se. It is the cover up. And for those that want to write about HRC and the server were no different than what Trump did, I agree but HRC and the Clintons in general have always walked the gray line of black and white, plus there is no paper trail to convict her. She had the server scrubbed so we don’t really know. She has been neutered thanks to Assange and Wikileaks. She is not liked so she will not win were she to run again for the presidency. Only those that still drink the kool-aid that she is a feminist, has the nation’s best interest, etc., buy into her BS. As for Biden and Pence and their breach of security of docs, upon finding out both of them turned them over and owned it. Again, it is the cover up that gets you in trouble.

Trump’s election tampering in Georgia has yet to come to trial so the jury has not spoken yet but it doesn’t look good to be asking for 10,000 votes or whatever Trump said to the Georgia Secretary of State.

Trump’s January 6th trial has yet to come to trial so that jury is still out. He will have his day in court to defend what he said and did.

Trump’s tax evasion case vs the State of NY is settled by the jury. It is on appeal as is his Daniels, etc., bribery case. Trump historically has massaged the numbers on his tax records. He even admitted it in the debate with HRC when he said that he knew the ins and outs of tax law. He has had to settle with the courts on Trump University, charitable contributions, and possibly other instances. Where this smoke there is fire. It isn’t so much that he committed tax fraud because I too have my doubts but it is the sleazy way he goes about his business as a real estate mogul that causes me angst, for example his habitual failure to pay contractors for building projects.

Since I couldn’t edit the above comment, please ignore above. Below is a revision and clarification of what I earlier wrote.

I won’t vote for either candidate either. You maybe a little too harsh on the Donald and his conviction, however regarding the payment of hush money.

I for one don’t care if he paid Daniels and the former Playboy bunny. That is between him, his family and the female participants. Trump’s attempts to strong arm Daniels through his fixer is also another story if Cohen and Daniels are to be believed, which I do.

And yes, Clarence didn’t rape Anita Hill but acted like a pig.

And for those that want to write about HRC and the server were no different than what Trump did, I agree but HRC and the Clintons in general have always walked the gray line of black and white, plus there is no paper trail to convict her.

There is enough suspicion that a trial is warranted. And yes, I also realize that the FBI was in the crowd and instigated some of those on the Capitol Hill steps to riot, break into the Capitol, etc. This will all come out in trial.

Where there is smoke there is fire. It isn’t so much that he committed tax fraud because I too have my doubts about controversy between him and Duetcshe Bank about the value of the properties he secured through a loan. Itt is the sleazy way he goes about his business as a real estate mogul that causes me angst, for example his habitual failure to pay contractors for building projects. Some might argue that he needs to get caught actually defrauding the government. It is my understanding they did. He informed the banks of one value the state of NY another.

His cabinet should have 25th’ed him long ago, but how do they not now, now that all of the USA (and world!) realizes Joe isn’t fit to serve? They were negligent before, but now their negligence is in the spotlight.

The same Dem operatives that have hidden this from the public for years (probably not a crime, but should be) have also spent years telling us Kamala is completely qualified to lead. Again, they were lying. How do they bypass the Veep for the nomination, especially if she becomes the sitting President?

The Dem infighting over whether to replace Joe with Kamala, Gavin, Hillary or Michelle will be nasty and fun to watch. When they go with Gavin, they’re going to lose lots of their base. The Party of DEI can’t bypass the “qualified” Veep 2nd-in-line black woman for the white guy from California who has no Federal experience. That’s what happens when you pick your Veep based on checking DEI boxes though…

The narrative the dems are using now is that so what that Biden is a feeble old man who suffers from dementia and is incoherent because at least he is not a liar like Trump. All Trump did was lie the whole time like the convicted felon he is during the debate according to the Dem narrative. That said, I’m not too sure the dems are believable anymore. They lied about Biden’s cognition and now want you to believe that there was no truth to anything Trump said. I’m not sure if that’s a winning formula for presidency to arbitrarily dismiss everything Trumps says as simply a lie especially hearing all of Biden’s lies last night that one can extract from his often incoherent rambles.

absolutely. An if anything goes wrong(which it will under his policies) just blame climate change…….he is on record blaming part of the deficit in CA on climate change.

Astute democrat analyst Ruy Texeira recently drew attention to the percentage of voters for whom climate change is he top issue: a whopping 4%. https://substack.com/home/post/p-145822336 Let Newsom try to bring that Chicken Little message to WI, MI, OH and PA. We’ll see a stake driven through the heart of that issue. (Also Newsom looks like a vampire.)

The media and democrats aren’t in panic mode post debate because of how Joe performed.

The media and democrats are in panic mode because they’ve been trying to convince everyone not to believe their lying eyes, but after last night, there is no way they can continue to claim that Biden is sharp as a tack behind closed doors.

That is why they’re in panic mode now.

Everyone is worried that he wouldn’t be able to make it through another four years if reelected.

I’m not sure he can even make it for the final 7 months of this term.

I’ve watched several of my older relatives suffer with dementia before they passed. It’s sad, as many here undoubtedly know firsthand.

To parade a loved one around on TV in this condition is heartless. In fact it’s the perfect symbol of the lust for power in DC these days. If the denizens of DC wont even look out for their own family members, and a man that at least some called a friend as well as a colleague thru the yrs, then it’s obvious that they wont care about the avg American who they supposedly serve.

Dr. Jill ditched her husband to take up with a balding single father senator when she was 24. She’ll fight Joe quitting with every fiber of her being.

Putting Joe up there like that speaks volumes on how bad they don’t want Kamala to be the nominee. I bet they replace her with Hillary, then Joe wins and resigns.

Who in their right mind would want to be President or even a Congressman. The pay isn’t all that great, your life is examined with a microscope 24/7 (along with everyone in your family) and even if you had smart logical ideas that would work, all the 3 letter agencies would team up on you and do everything in their power to sabotage it because it would mess up their illogical status quo guild of thievery in D.C. No thanks.

I don’t like either candidate but end of the day we deserve both of them for steadily voting to increase the power of the Federal Government and turning the Constitution into something some people did over some tea.

If you subscribe to this, (which I do), better to leave things as they are than to pass inane & ridiculous rules. One of the talking heads last night lauded Biden for passing more legislation than any other president. What has that gotten us? More stupid laws.

Ridiculous. The Republicans have ideas. Just look at any Red State and compare their policies to any Blue State.

While I agree with your general proposition – that republicans generally govern better – there are many ways to pit red vs blue:
Illinois vs Utah
Vermont vs Mississippi
Massachusetts vs Indiana
It reminds me of libs saying red states like Alabama have higher murder rates than blue states like California and implying that the “answer” is gun control. Murder rates are largely a function of the percentage of blacks. Vermont is “blue” has lax guns laws and a low murder rate.

Some republican “ideas” like an ever-expanding military budget and security state and kissing Israel’s ass at every opportunity barely qualify as ideas.

I have not been a fan of CNN for many years, but I have to say they did a good job. They did’t take sides like I expected them to. They were honest in the discussion after the debate. The DNC should shift gears, admit they screwed up, and nominate RFK, but they won’t. He’s the only person with his foot in the door that many people are behind

It is truly remarkable that a VP Candidate would be considered viable when she is respected less than a Man who can barely utter a phrase without a hoarse blank Wooden Indian presence. He is an abysmal failure as a Man, Father, President and Public Figure. TRUMP BARELY breaks the surface as well.

NOW do you viewer see why some of us CANNOT VOTE with a good conscience? The choices are stinkers.

Trump looked old, and made faces and then had a hard time finishing some his thoughts.

CNN had a similar reaction. The Democrat media was in sync, which makes me suspect the reaction was planned. Normally they all just claim their guy won or at least did ok. Maybe they really plan on replacing him.

No matter how “well” Biden might have performed, the MSM script would have him declared “loser”, “mentally unfit”, etc. He is going to be replaced as nominee either before or at the convention.

My thoughts exactly. WWIII has been on my mind with Biden at the helm. I have read that the American public has always been hesitant to replace a sitting president when we are at war. Biden and his handlers may see a hot-war as their cure to remaining in power.

Yes. It’s impossible to a argue otherwise. There’s no way they can leave him as President if they say he’s not competent to run for re-election. That should be the lede R talking point, hammer it. Force them to explain how it’s OK that he remain President.
