Biden Passes the Torch to Save Democracy

In a tortured, self-serving 12-minute speech, Biden attempts to explain why he is no longer running for president.

This speech would have been much better if he dropped out a year ago.

Every bit of it reeks of self-serving hollowness.

Biden: I revere this office, but I love my country more. It’s been the honor of my life to serve as your president. But in the defense of democracy, which is at stake, I think it’s more important than any title..

Mish: What BS. If democracy is at stake, it’s Democrats who are to blame.

Biden: In recent weeks, it has become clear to me that I need to unite my party in this critical endeavor. I believe my record as president, my leadership in the world, my vision for America’s future, all merited a second term. But nothing, nothing can come in the way of saving our democracy. That includes personal ambition.

Mish: Good Lord. Most of the nation was begging Biden to stand down. Biden did not see it until he was forced out.

Biden: So I’ve decided the best way forward is to pass the torch to a new generation. It’s the best way to unite our nation. I know there was a time and a place for long years of experience in public life. There’s also a time and a place for new voices, fresh voices, yes, younger voices. And that time and place is now.

Mish: The time is now but wasn’t two weeks ago? How about two years ago? Mr. president, was this voluntary or were you forced out?

Biden: The great thing about America is, here kings and dictators do not rule — the people do. History is in your hands. The power’s in your hands. The idea of America lies in your hands. You just have to keep faith — keep the faith — and remember who we are. We are the United States of America, and there are simply nothing, nothing beyond our capacity when we do it together. So let’s act together, preserve our democracy. God bless you all and may God protect our troops. Thank you.

Anyone who thinks Trump isn’t lying when words come out his mouth is fooling themselves. After spending 2 weeks in rural America I can totally understand why many think life sucks. But that has zero to do with president or policies. Most of these rural towns never were great after the Era of globalization kicked in. Blame corporations if you like but tariffs won’t work. I spend two weeks every other summer at this place over the last 15 years and nothing grows or changes. In the end to better your life you have to move.

I’m gonna miss Ol Poopy Pants, he was so easy to see through. His garbled speeches and pointless stories about cornpop or the hair on his legs. His imagined careers as a truck driver or a coal miner. Truly a fever dream presidency.

Now that quiet madness will be pierced by the shreiks and cackles of a lady beast, like a drunk wine aunt support by the media and her own party. A conversation with a drunk who doesn;t even know she’s drunk.. Doesn’t even know she’s incompetent. It will be trying, but at least it will be short, she will fail spectacularly, she is consistently bad. Only the desperate would run a candidate like her……

CNN.com is doing its part to ‘save democracy’ by pushing for Kamala, the MIC-approved candidate.

BREAKING NEWS: Expanding at a robust 2.8% rate in the second quarter, the economy is about to stick what’s called a ‘soft landing’

Time to gaslight the readers into believing the economy is fantastic. Plus be sure to have a picture of Kamala next to the story so readers can make the subliminal connection that a vote for Kamala is a vote to continue the economic good times

“Mr. president, was this voluntary or were you forced out?”

Of coarse he was forced out. Pelosi said she was waiting for him to make a decision he had already made, to continue running for a second term. She organized an effort to change his mind. As usual, details will come out some time later. In an interesting twist, BLM, co-founded by two trained Marxists, demands a flash primary of some sort, so that party voters have a say in who gets nominated. They don’t want a nominee shoved down their throats, regardless of skin color.

In a world where people are stupid enough to use their “phone” which is not a phone but a personalized tracking device/computer, for their wallet, well certainly no ruse is too stupid for those to swallow it hook, line and sinker.

People have been propagandized for years, and most lack critical thinking and will beleive anything repeated often enough. What he meant to say

Thank you for wasting your time watching a demented old man give a speech after a palace coup. Harris along with her allies forced me to quit. Of course I have had dementia for over five years, but the press has done a wonderful job of covering it up.

I made a big mistake in going on national television and showing everyone my dementia. The press could no longer cover it up.

I needed to run to keep my office so Hunter could continue to collect bribes and have people pay him for worthless pieces of art work. No fool would buy his artwork, it is trash. But it was a great cover up to collect bribe money. Of course he did not pay taxes on the money.

Who would vote for a demented old man, except some stupid Democrat. Remember all the good I have done for the country. I have given you massive inflation, increased unemployment, lots of new IRS agents to harass you, and started World War 3. I also, gave you an invasion of illegals along with a massive drug trade. The drugs flowing in from the border was designed to give Hunter cheaper drugs to buy.

Remember Harris, put a knife in my back with the coup. She will have the opportunity to do the same to you.

“Our democracy.” 1) Who’s this “we” white man? 2) So, if majority rules in democracy, are the polls of public opinion more important than votes? 3) If majority rules, what about the minority? Do they forgo any say or rights? 4) Errr, this is not a democracy. Its a constitutional republic, based in the notion of power sharing between branches, federal and state. 5) The Bill of Rights explicitly protects individual rights beyond what a majority may uphold or destroy. 6) The threat to our constitutional republic is the notion that an oligarchic/corporate/Natsec/Mediatised fusion of this so called “democracy” is antithetical to our constitutional republic, is very close to historical fascism, uses Marxist principles of subversion and control by fear and lies, all the way to the bank for those elites pulling the strings.

Someone noted that the dems really NEED Kamala to ascend to the big chair asap. It’s much easier for a voter to deny Kamala the honor of becoming the first female president than it is for that same voter to decide to TAKE the Presidency away from the first female President. World War 3 or Trump.

JFK was assassinated because he was against the war machine. I believe this is the primary reason the shadow powers hate Trump. He’s messing up their core profit center. Furthermore, what’s more profitable than war? Rebuilding war-torn counties. And removing their assets. Add all that up, and a few make trillions.

Agreed. In the 2020 election, both my wife and I were the first ones to show at the polling station near our home, arriving at 6:00am in the cold waiting for the polls to open at 6:30am. I was the first person to enter and when asked to identify myself was told that I already had voted hence, I couldn’t vote. I said what the hell do you mean I have already voted and called BS. The same for my wife. We both were told that we had voted by absentee ballot. We spent the next 2 hours filling out forms and documents, IDs, etc. in order to rectify the stolen votes. While we were in another room doing all this we periodically would hear loud yells from other people of “what do you mean I have already voted”. Weeks later I went to a board of elections meeting and asked to find out who had voted fraudulently for us and was told that we were not allowed that info. My friend and attorney told me if I wanted to pursue it I had better be prepared to hurt financially. Enough said…our votes and many others were stolen.

poor prose, badly spelled and difficult to read, impresses and influences no one. Reads like it was written by a 3rd world bot attempting some sort of mangled rap song. I only skimmed it and it gave me a migraine…

so, if you care about things like debt, personal safety, and the potential future prosperity for your children and grandchildren, are there any options outside the US, all things considered? are we still the best house in the deteriorating neighborhood or are there viable alternatives?

my personal preference would be a national divorce, because I’m sick of subsidizing marxists who yell at me, call me names, and view my children as being available for future wars not related to our national defense.

Things often implode quickly in what appear to be expat safe havens. Ecuador is a recent example.

we do own a shit ton of nuclear weapons, have great farm land. Lots of resources, an ocean size moat on either coast. Its actually a great place to live in the geographic and resources context. Its just controlled by a shitty political/economic system. Far easier to change the governement than find a land of such superb natural resources and so much of it.

Unless you speak a foreign language and have family in the governement of such foreign lands, anyplace you go, you will be at a disadvantage over your home country. grow a pair, and defend what is yours…

Trump needs to step down and turn this into a real political race. Rather than a rambling blowhard rant of lies and half truths. The country deserves better.

Ha, who would you trust more? A blowhard that they want to assassinate? Or a DC fanboy/girl who will continue to blow smoke up your ass? I’m voting for the one they hate.

It’s a choice: unlimited illegal immigration, illegals on Medicare for all and unlimited abortions vs. stopping illegal immigration, deporting illegals and return to the rule of law.

In the meanwhile, old Joe is still breathing and mumbling as our flag is burned and replaced by a flag of nowhere and our monuments to history are defaced.

The “CIA” or the “InterAgency”, the unelected 1947 Act network of interests that runs the country and now decides the elections, forced him out.

Polls were too low for them to plausibly steal the election

One wonders what happens if Kamala’s polls fail to close the gap they perceive they need to close.

BUT also, he needs to leave the presidency the next month of August, at the DNC Convention, and therefore, move forward into a Much Needed Retirement, so he will NOT be making any more stupid decisions. The American people doesn’t need any more Disaster from this man.

Yeah, but then Kamala becomes the first female President, and it might be very hard for people, particularly women, to choose to BOOT her from the role. Lizard brain Psychology matters, unfortunately.

Yeah, I second that. All the smoke blown that Trump will end democracy, be a dictator, or even start WW3 is all projecting. What evidence, even scant, does anyone have? I haven’t seen any since Trump announced his first run. There are reasons not to like him, primarily personal, but nothing about being anti-constitutional.

one of the most basic elements of a nation, a country is a border. without borders, there are no nations. Biden has destroyed the southern border overtly. He has done more to destroy this nation than any president since Wilson signed off on the Federal Reserve, or Truman signed off on the National Security Act.

I suppose an ignorant electorate, who pretty much live and breathe and vote their “political party” at all costs, is no match for a silent coup.

in all wars, the most organized group wins. The deep state has spent decades, nearly 2 centuries, building their organization. They managed to stay well hidden until the 1940’s. Only in the 1 st trump election was their existence stated as fact in a presidential campaign, though Eseinhower and Kennedy both spoke about aspects of the deep state and secret societies.
