What a Hoot!
Trump’s MOU gave Iran hundreds of billions before Trump tore it up. And Obama secured a nuclear deal that was actually working, discussed below.
I never voted for Obama. And I am proud to have never voted for Trump either. Yet, I have never missed voting in any national election since I turned 18. For those keeping score that’s 1971.
I cheer or jeer policies, not political parties. Far too often, I state “I don’t like any of them,” because I generally don’t.
Unlike Trump, I am a genuine fiscal conservative, anti-war, MYOB Libertarian who is sick of what Trump has done to this country.
However, I appreciate a message well delivered, even if I don’t agree with it.
In contrast to Trump throwing red meat to MAGA hyenas that no one but MAGA can appreciate, Obama knows how to deliver a speech. His polite needles are not only funny, they tell a message.
One can agree or disagree with Obama’s message. That is not the point. The point is Obama’s messages are to the point, and effective.
Yet, Obama is right about the war, right about the reflecting pool, right about fool’s gold, right about Trump’s character, and right about the swamp.
Right is right, no matter who says it. In this case, Trump did not drain the swamp, Trump is the swamp.
That statement is sure to bring out more “Mish has TDS” calls. But nearly all of the people who accuse me of TDS have it themselves. Long ago, I coined the term TDS Type II, support for Trump no matter what he says or does.
Trump has made so many economically-illiterate decisions, so many morally-illiterate decisions, and so many self-serving decisions, that a majority of voters are going to turn out in revolt.
Obama’s Biggest Achievement
Obama’s biggest achievement was not Obamacare, it was getting Iran to agree to a nuclear deal.
Trump’s Secretary of Defense and to general both testified under oath in Congress that Iran was honoring the deal.
Iran did not restart its nuclear program until Trump unilaterally tore the deal up.

I’m sorry, but Obama is not – and never has been – funny. He’s also never really been effective in turning out voters for democrats. His greatest skill was having terrible opponents. They’re hoping he can turn out black voters in Detroit. They should have brought in a black guy. I say all this while hoping El-Sayed wins.
